I last visited on a Saturday at lunch time: it was a party of two, with a reservation and we had to wait more than an hour for the food to be served (a cold appetizer and octopus grilled salad). The impression is the place had too many tables and staff was unable to keep up with the orders. I overheard other people complaining. The owners offered us coffee in the end to make up for the delay. The place is nice, but maybe best to visit outside of the high season if you are looking for a spot for a quick bite.

You cannot beat the location and ambiance. Unfortunately, there’s not much more positive feedback to give. The pasta dishes were not great, and the service could be improved. We had to ask for the check three times and then get up from our seats to actually pay. The photo shows the beautiful sunset view. Maybe just get drinks and enjoy the evening here after you’ve eaten somewhere else.

This place is really not worth it. Except for a nice view it doesn't have too much to offer. It is overpriced and pasta is horrible! Service is also very slow. We ordered an octopus, a pasta with clams, and ravioli. However, we got a pasta with shrimp instead of ravioli, and they did not even bother to change it. Both pastas were tasteless. The only thing we liked here was the octopus and that's why it is 2 stars instead of 1.

Some of the staff, particularly the older staff (likely the manager) were rude. Only stopped for aperitivo, because of the view, and I wouldn't consider staying for food due to the attitude. After waiting for 25 minutes after ordering, it was clear they lost our order of 2 drinks, so we had to order again and wait for another 15. Forget any kind of food with the aperitivo, they only bring drinks. Bar San martino nearby is the choice for a better quality, minus the amazing view.

Just avoid to eat there, you will find many other options around the lake. Rude and not educated staff who doesn’t know how to talk with the visitors. Not recommended at all.

Worst service ever! Staff behavior is the lowest quality you could find around the lago maggiore. No food or drink availability on a minimum acceptable quality. Not recommend at all!!

Like other reviewers said, the location is good. We also liked the food, the sushi was decent, so were the linguini alle vongole. The prices are a bit on the high side compared to other restaurants in the area but not too much, I think everyone can afford to have lunch or dinner there once in a while. I confirm that there is separation between the tables available for dinner and for aperitivo. I 've had aperitivo there too and the food served to accompany the drinks wasn't something special. In fact it was the worst I ever had, just some prosciutto with cheese. The worst problem of this place however is the attitude of the employees, who are impolite I would say even rude. Saturday evening we went to book a table for 3 for next day to have a birthday lunch. The boy who worked there that time told my wife it is fine, but we should arrive a bit earlier. Next day, we followed the advice and we went 15 mins earlier. This time, a lady told us that they do not reserve tables close to the lake for 'logistic' purposes. No idea what that means. In any case, we got very annoyed and we left. I don't think they'll be seeing us again.

The service was awful! They forgot our drinks and when we got our food it was cold ecpecially the potatoes which we informed the waitress about. He said that they will bring us some new warm potatoes but we never got them. We ordered a medium rare burger but the Berg was so rare!! It was also impossible to get in touch with them so the service was non existing!

The impression about service is very bad. We had to wait for the waitress for a long time to take our oder. Even when I asked one for the order she replied indifferently that she would be right over. We waited for about 30 minutes and no one approached us. At the same time they were busy serving and talking. When we got our food, it was tasteless. The portions are very small. Even I didn't eat enough, though I usually don’t eat so much

Waited 30 minutes from the menu. although the waiter has already seen me twice. the waiter almost threw the cutlery on the table without table cover.... terrible service and unfriendly!!!. Not recommended. I thought that some restaurants had learned from COVID situacion by treating their customers well.. best regards from Germany...
