Our favorite place for Chinese take-out, very fast, tasty, and inexpensive. Their COVID-era takeout protocol is excellent. We've literally never been disappointed in the accuracy, quality, or really any other aspect of an order.

This is our go-to place for Chinese takeout. My wife and I both love the noodle dishes, egg foo yung, mu shu, buddha delight, scallion pancakes, dumplings. They use good ingredients, fresh veggies, etc. Super wonderful friendly folks run the place. There are tables to eat in the restaurant if you want, but most folks tend to get takeout or delivery. I usually place a takeout order online, and it's always ready when I get there 20 min later. You can pull into the parking lot if you're going eastbound (toward downtown) on State Street, or if you're in the left lane going northbound on Meadow. They have a nice and clean restroom.

Now I love this place since I first Moved here in 2016. The staff are great and the place is very clean. I'm from NYC and chinese american food is amazing there but coming upstate I would avoid buying it until I had Jade Garden and cant beat the lunch prices. Highly affordable super speedy. Definitely recommend to anyone!

I always have a good experience purchasing food from here. Very delicious, wonderful sized portions, and affordable. Definitely my favorite take out restaurant in Ithaca, NY!

Everything was delicious. The servings are generous and the prices are quite reasonable. The place is very clean. Staff were friendly and quick. I'll be coming back often.

Jade Garden is great. Out of the many options for Asian food, this sits in my top 2 and possibly my favorite. The people are friendly and I have been ordering from there since they were in the old location by the commons. I would recommend them any time.

What I love most about this place is the classic Chinese takeout but there's a hidden gem! Get their bubble tea, not only is it surprisingly good, but you don't have to travel up into college town to get one. The szechaun wonton dish is kaaa-boom good! I'd also recommend the Chinese vegetables and pork in a brown sauce and remember if you're sensitive that you can ask for no MSG but their sauces are prepared ahead of time and likely contain some.

I have only done take out here. I keep coming back because their food is consistently excellent using quality ingredients.

This is a very great, high quality Chinese Restaurant. I highly recommend Jade Garden 1000%. Their food is awesome the staff is awesome and they give you your money's worth.

Took out from here on one of my first days to town and the soups are so good! I got a vegetable soup and a hot and sour soup and both were delicious. I’m always craving hot and sour soup and they delivered.

Not every restaurant has mei fun, which is my favorite, and the ones that do seem to use thicker noodles. These are the finest, thinnest rice vermicelli, with tender veggies that are julienned to perfectly to with the noodles. The portions are generous and I can eat from one order of veggie mei fun for days. So very good. I also sampled the General Tso’s Chicken which was crunchy and delicious-by far the best I have ever had, despite it not being my usual favorite. I am already planning my next order.

The place is a nice little hole in the wall. They were so kind on the phone and as I picked up my food and it tastes great!!

Good prices, amazing portion slices and delicious food. I love spice and they were super helpful in adjusting the heat level of my meal to the point that it just slapped. PS- food was read in under 5 mins which was a sight to see (got the house special fried rice - extra spicy - container was packed full to the brim). Food is overall pretty good. Ordered delivery twice recently and they forgot our eggrolls both times which is annoying. Fried wontons taste like theres no meat in it. Not worth it. Steamed dumplings are good. Steamed pork buns were not a fave. Sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken were very good though.

My favorite Chinese food in Ithaca! I love their Sesame Bean Curd and the Broccoli in garlic sauce. My boyfriend and I always devour it when we order. We always give them a thumbs up when we drive by.

Their redbean tea is unique and pleasing to the pallette, but the boba balls weren't the best I've ever had. Their drinks are well worth a try, with a wide variety for a range of taste preferences.

I Door dashed crab Rangoon from here, and they were really good, a bit on the sweet side but good. I'm unsure about any of their other food, but their Rangoons are good!

I order General TSO's Chicken with fried rice and white rice . I like the chicken but the rice was not good. I order to walnut shrimp but I disappoint because I thought will be fried and sweet but was no flavor and was something els not what I thought. But the order come fast customer service was not good for me . But the chicken was 8/10

Was pretty disappointed in the food, ordered a General Tso's Chicken and found that it contained bizarrely little chicken, many of the pieces were just batter/breading with no meat inside. Not very appetizing sauce either

Ordered the tofu w garlic sauce lunch special. Tofu was chewy and tasted bad. The egg roll had a thick shell and wasn't crispy. I've ordered dinner before and that was fine. So I'd stay away from the lunch special for now.

We were not from the area so I just googled the best Chinese food and I was excited to try this place. My husband and I ordered beef & broccoli and sesame chicken combination. Their prices are affordable but you get half of the fish with rice then your other stuff. Their egg rolls are cooked perfectly. The beef and broccoli has good flavor. Although the sesame chicken is full of flour. There is a very small piece of chicken which is about 10% and 90% are all flour. I understand that sesame chicken is supposed to be coated with flour, but geez, I didn’t order sesame flour with chicken flavor. Ugh. Since we were not from the area, we intended to eat this in the car. We drove off and not realizing they don’t put silverware or chopsticks unless you asked. They didn’t even put any napkins either. Very frustrating. Usually you get some fortune cookies when you get take out from the Chinese restaurant too. That’s probably why their prices are a little cheaper than others. They don’t provide those extra little things for you. Needless to say, because we got mostly flour on the sesame chicken, we will never be back at this place :(

The food has no real flavor or seasoning we ordered chicken fried rice shrimp fried rice , chicken wings and bbq boneless tips which over all that was the best and that’s not saying much. Sorry guys

The sesame chicken was very slimy and overall I would not order the sesame chicken ever again. Could barley eat it because if the texture of the outside and the chicken on the inside is over cooked and hard.

I ordered one sesame chicken dinner for myself and one for my daughter. The breading inside was gooey and you could tell the chicken was refried. All of the chicken stuck together in the sauce making it hard to even pull it apart. I would not recommend ordering this dish from this restaurant! I didn't even bother trying to replace it.

BEWARE: This restaurant lies about the food on the menu and uses fake pictures! They have a picture on the website of "Twice Cooked Pork" which is what I ordered. What I got instead was LEFTOVER CHAR SIU and cabbage in oil. No peppers, no onions, no scallions, nothing like what was shown in the picture. This isn't a matter of the food being authentic or not, it's them pulling a bait-and-switch on the customers with what they purport to sell versus what they'll actually give you. I went in expecting Americanized takeout, what I got was the product of false advertising and them cutting corners. I'd strongly recommend anyone considering this place to look elsewhere.

Used to be reliably good. Something’s changed. Just had 3 dishes delivered, and two were literally so oily and weird-tasting that they had to be trashed.

The Mother and daughter is rude an arrogant. I called by phone to place my order and I told them that I had a shellfish 🦐 allergy and could they ensure that my food Won’t come in contact with any shellfish 🦐 and the mother’s response was haven’t you order from us before and I said but each time I call I must inform you of my allergies and her response was I keep telling you over an over we won’t put seafood in it. I said I know you won’t put seafood in it i am telling you that my food can’t come in contact with seafood at all, her response was maybe I should order from somewhere else. I told her this is the way you treat your customers how can I trust what you say when you respond like this. Shame on Jade Chinese Place.
