Absolutely loved it! Sitting at the counter watching the cook was a treat within itself. The staff was nice, the food was delicious, and prices were beyond reasonable.

One of my favorite local spots! It’s the perfect little hometown diner. Their sausage gravy is real good. Food comes out quick. Staff is friendly. Vibes are cozy.

What a great little place! My new favorite breakfast place! My husband had the meat and cheese omelet with sourdough toast and I had scrambled eggs and bacon with a side of french toast. Everything came out hot and delicious! The French toast even had the powdered sugar sprinkled on top - just like how my mother made it! The staff were friendly and personable too! We will definitely go back!

Best breakfast place in Ithaca by far. Big portions, good quality of ingredients, and true diner atmosphere. And special mention for the pancakes and coffee. My favorites.

Nice little place to go for breakfast. Just be ready to wait a few minutes to get a table. It is very small, so not a lot of space for everyone, but service is quick and the food is good. Typical diner food.

I really liked this breakfast location. The location itself is pretty small but the pancakes, sausage and egg were so good! Even though it was a bit crowded on a Sunday for brunch, service was top notch and the food quality was good. I loved breakfast here and will definitely be back a couple of times. The pancakes were sooo good!

LSD is busy, everyday, because it's a great diner. For you southerners, the cook line gives waffle house vibes. That said, I have no idea if they can throw hands like a WH, because there haven't been any fights while I was there. The food is good. Prices are fair. Service is prompt and polite. You will not regret choosing this diner.

Just left this diner that was recommended to us to try. We are visiting from the Adirondacks and WOW if you have not been here I highly recommend. The whole experience was A+ from the service to the food. They did not stop serving or cooking. The diner was packed as people leave more came in. Had a nice conversation with a couple from here also. We will definitely be back!!!!

Cozy little old-school diner in Ithaca! Had the Southwest Omelet (special of the day), pancakes, and French toast — all fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. Friendly service and great vibes.

Lincoln Street Diner is a beloved classic in Ithaca, offering a true taste of comfort food in a cozy, nostalgic setting. If you're looking for a spot where you can get hearty, satisfying meals that remind you of simpler times, this diner hits the mark. With its retro charm and friendly vibe, it’s the kind of place where you can easily relax and enjoy a meal, whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. One of the best things about Lincoln Street Diner is its all-day breakfast menu, which is a standout in the Ithaca dining scene. The omelets are a customer favorite, loaded with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Whether you go for a classic Western or opt for something more inventive like a vegetarian version, you can count on fluffy eggs and generous portions. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, their pancakes are thick and fluffy, served with butter and syrup that is sure to hit the spot. For lunch or dinner, the burgers at Lincoln Street Diner are simple but delicious. The classic cheeseburger is juicy and well-seasoned, served with crispy fries and a pickle on the side. If you're in the mood for something lighter, their grilled chicken salad is fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of dressing. The French toast is another great option, made with thick slices of bread and perfectly caramelized on the outside. What sets Lincoln Street Diner apart is the atmosphere. The diner feels like a step back in time with its vintage décor, friendly service, and warm, inviting ambiance. It’s the type of place where the staff remembers your name, and you feel like part of the community. The service is always quick and attentive, but the pace is relaxed, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal. For anyone in Ithaca looking for a classic diner experience with delicious, no-frills food, Lincoln Street Diner is a must-visit. It’s a place where you can always count on good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again.

There's a reason this place has been here for a really long time. What it lacks and looks and makes up for in food.

This place is just very nice. The food is very good, prepared just behind the counter, in view of everyone. Their service is very small town feeling and a lot of locals come here. I’ve been coming for a couple of years and enjoy it every time. Edit: my daughter graduated from the local university and sadly I will not be visiting here any longer. Thank you guys for the great business that you run. I will really miss it.

Perfect if you are looking for an old-school diner. Counter and table seating with food hot off the plancha grill. Fried eggs are delicious as is the egg sandwich and the pancakes. Gets very crowded on weekends so go before 10. Fair prices and good conversation. Takes electronic payments but prefers cash if you have it.

The best things in life are worth waiting for and you can expect a slight wait a this popular, homestyle diner. Our server was very friendly and kept our coffee cups full throughout our visit. The Ziffy Omelette was a generous portion and we enjoyed the local hot sauce provided. It is a bustling spot which we will surely visit again when we come back through Ithaca.

Lincoln Street Diner (LSD) is a small but homey diner that's in a fairly residential area, which I think is really cool. Don't come here with a big party, as the largest table seats four people and there are probably about 25 seats in the whole restaurant. I came with a group of 8, and we were separated into three tables. The food was really good. I ordered an omelet and didn't quite expect what they handed me, but it was super good (it was more like a scramble than a traditional omelet). Omelets can sometimes be really bland, but LSD did a great job of making sure that the food was seasoned well. No complaints about pricing/service either - it was all super fair. Lastly, it gets busy, so be ready to wait!

A quirky neighborhood spot where the regulars all know each other, the breakfasts and burgers are great, and daily homestyle specials range from very good to amazing. Fish fry on Fridays, chili dogs most Thursdays, fresh roast turkey dinners frequently, creative chicken salad, etc. Breakfast is limited for weekday lunch hours; no griddle items. Saturday is breakfast items only. You may have to wait for a table. It’s worth it.

Great little diner! Very friendly service, small menu, but everything was delicious and made to order. Masks on every breathing soul and strict social distancing was enforced which was very much appreciated by someone like myself (immune compromised). Overall, my family and I were very pleased, but we forgot to ask for utensils (we were a to go order), but we made do. Will be back again!

We stopped here for breakfast while we were visiting Ithaca. The diner is very small and we ended up sitting at the counter. I really enjoyed watching the cook and the waitress. I could never keep up with the orders as quickly and efficiently as they did! I had the corned beef hash, eggs, and a biscuit, which was very good. My husband also enjoyed the blueberry pancakes. Both our meals were plentiful! Prices were average. If ever we were back in the area, we would return!

Homey, no-nonsense place half a block away from Ithaca Falls. My partner wanted to fuel before a long bike ride so we got the pancakes and eggs with hash. The pancakes were wonderful! Thanks so much for the satisfying meal.

Wow,the food here was pretty good. I got the eggs over easy with corn beef hash and it was cooked perfect just how I wanted it. Minus one star for the rust on the silverware.
