This place is a gem. Reminds me so much of Mexico both in spirit and in flavor. These guys are awesome, very sweet. I got chicken, pork, and steak and asked the cook to give me whatever toppings he likes and he did not dissapoint. The pineapple goes so good on the tacos. I wish I lived closer by!!! I went back for a fourth taco, the al pastor was so good.
Very good. Seems to be the only actual Mexican food in Ithaca (and upstate NY?) and very arguably the best food in Ithaca. It is still Ithaca so the "hot" sauce is sort of medium, otherwise there would probably be a lawsuit, but they get away with it being pretty flavorful anyway. Cash only. $5/taco is in principle steep but worth it in this sadly tacoless region. I hope they stay in business, this could greatly improve my ability to survive here.
These guys know how to do tacos!!! The torta is a great sandwhich for breakfast, and they have all the meats for $5 so you can enjoy your steak tacos without having to pay 2x as much. Super sweet guys always loving seeing them, and food is clearly made with love. Very delicious please make it a spot you hit on your way into ithaca My go to order is lengua with everything on it and the spicy sauce. And a strawberry banana jumex

Really delicious and fresh tacos, friendly and fast service! Very easy to get a mix of things and exactly the flavors you want. The juices they make are great too. Picnic tables available to sit at and eat in the press bay alley, really enjoyable lunch spot.
These tacos are outstanding, the owner and staff are super friendly, and the outdoor seating is great in the spring through fall. The tacos are just as good in the winter though, and I’ll be just as happy eating them inside. For the folks complaining about the price, look at the size of these things! They are huge. Two tacos is a full meal and will fill you up. Where else in Ithaca (let alone the region) can you get a full meal for $10?! I mean, crappy diner food in town will cost you $15. I love this place!💕
Best vegan tacos I’ve ever had. Hands down. Get the spiciest salsa they have. They mean it! It actually has real spice! (hard to find in the finger lakes). Open on Mondays, which is another plus. Great prices for the area.
Best, authentic Al Pastor taco I've had since moving from Tampa. 2 corn tortillas, marinated meat with shredded, not canned, pineapple crispy cheese on top! Excellent!!!!!!!!
Holy MOLY these are AMAZING. We had the al pastor, carne asada, and lengua tacos. Not only is the flavor good but they also double tortilla and give you so much meat. I got 3 thinking they would be tiny but nope, great portions. Wish I lived closer so that I could go back weekly! Outside seating great for dog owners :) Authentic as it gets. Thank you!

Tacos were so good!!! Tender & full of flavor! I tried 5 of them. Asada, birria, lengua, al pastor & pollo (pollo not pictured). They were a good size & filling. Service was great, line was a bit long but went by quickly. Definitely recommend!
You must try CDMX in Ithaca! It was recommended to by a local. We pretty much had everything here from steak to chorizo to chicken and different combinations with salsas - Loved everything. More than the food, it was an experience watching the tacos cooked in front of you and enjoying the food served on colorful plates and tables sitting outdoor on the commons.
Visited Ithaca for the first time and decided to try Tacos CDMX for lunch! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so friendly and accommodating to any questions / requests. Highly recommend for a quick casual lunch!

What an amazing experience! Team was so friendly and attentive. And it turns out that one of their cooks who is from Guatemala, had worked for my husbands father back home!!! Crazy small world! Their tacos and Torta was amazing!
This is the coolest little place with the absolute best street tacos I’ve ever had. They only serve tacos but you still have a lot of options. If you are ever in the Ithaca area and craving tacos, this should be at the top of your list.
Best tacos I’ve ever had! Very authentic steak asada and cheese tacos with onions, cilantro and pineapple. There is a small area inside to eat and a very nice courtyard with tables and umbrellas. There is a lot of beautiful scenery as well.
Probably the most decent tacos I've ever had in Upstate NY? I mean it's def the best in Ithaca for sure. It was cooked freshly in front of the queue line, $5 for each taco, and it's kind of like a self served spot. Also, cash only!! Late post: I'm thousands miles away now and I miss their taco so much :-(
One of the best tacos (because we have no choice) in town. The carne asada and al pastor are good. The pork tongue is too mushy. The salsa is not bad but it not flavorful enough.
We stopped here during AppleFest. The line moved quickly, the tacos were terrific, and we loved the cucumber Limeade! Great atmosphere. Will return! (We're not in Ithaca as often as we'd like, unfortunately. )

Authentic Mexican tacos at a very convenient and relaxing location. Service was quick. Made the food to order right on the spot. I ordered their chicken tacos with medium hot sauce. Very tasty! Also highly recommend their cilantro limeade.
I was not blown away by the food. It was good but not really standing out to me. If you want a cheap $5 meal perfect.
