Copacabana Jackson Heights Reviews
Simple buffet style place but great food and flavor. You pay by the pound for the food you're getting. The service people are polite and friendly.
I found myself enjoying every aspect of my visit here. The staff responds quickly to signals. Their workers delivered reliable excellence throughout. Light food with perfectly infused lemon flavor. The area was noteworthy, the dishes were delicious and I had a good time.
This is a hidden gem I discovered on Tik Tok; it’s quickly become one of my favorite self service buffets in the city! I've always passed by, but now that I'm focusing more on my health, it’s definitely my go-to stop. They have an array of healthy yet filling options. I love the idea of trying new dishes since they always seem to cater to adventurous foodies like myself. My only concern, though, is the lack of labels for the food being served each day. I’m hoping they might introduce some kind of labeling system, because I do want to make some of the food I tried at home and it could really assist those with dietary restrictions, like lactose intolerance. The steak tends to get a little dry if you don't get it just cooked but I’m looking forward to the next time I go; I know I’ll be spending about the same amount I would for two McDonald's meals for one plate but I always leave feeling satisfied knowing I've made a healthier choice. The staff at each location are always friendly and gracious.
Brazilian BBQ on a budget! You pay per pound at this buffet and everything is self service. There is a good variety of food including different salads, side dishes such as rice and pastas, and meat dishes like pernil, ribs, roasted chicken and stuffed fish. Next to the hot bar is the barbecue station where you ask the cutter for the meats you want. I tried the picanha, skirt steak, and pork sausages and enjoyed them all. I enjoyed the sausages in particular because they had great flavor and a satisfying crunch. It’s a great spot for lunch and dinner if you’re craving grilled meats!
Really nice churrasco and salad bar by the pound. Been here twice now and really enjoyed it both times. Almost identical to the por kilo buffets in Brazil. They don't have the biggest selection, but what they do have they do very well, and it's very reasonably priced. They do have faijão, farfoa, and a smattering of other dishes you would expect to find here. I had the picanha and costella from the BBQ. Picanha was excellent, costella was short rib style and also very good. As you can see, they don't skimp on the meats. All the employees were also very nice and the place looked well kept. Will be back next time I need a quick churrasco fix!
This is my second time ordering the chicken stroganoff and plantains for lunch at my job. Trust me, this is so good, and the portion size is enough for 3 to 4 meals. Im fixing my 2nd plate for dinner as I write this review. The chicken, rice, and string beans are not filled to the top of the containers because I had eaten some for lunch at work My first previous order besides the chicken was with the kale salad, which was good as well. I switched up this time and ordered the string beans salad, and it's a definite can't miss. The plantains were a sweet and tasty addition to the meal. Thus, the place is a must try, and I am looking forward to trying more items on the menu.
As always Copacabana has great and delicious food for a very affordable price. I highly recommend it. Their grill section is the best and their picanha is out of this world! I live in Manhattan and every time I come to Jackson Heights I eat here. Staff also is very friendly. KUDOS!!!
So this is definitely on my Top 5 Restaurants in my entire list. I am a bit of a picky eater and I always find very delicious choices that I often have trouble choosing. They have all kinds of sides and meats! They even have fish! The staff is extremely friendly, they just make you feel super welcomed. Parking is not as bad as it might seem, you just have to go around the streets and remember that Sundays parking is free. Also, there is a subway nearby and when you get off is less than five minutes away. I had a tradition for a long time that I would eat there most Fridays after work, even though I live in Connecticut.
Past by during break and gave it a try. Happy I did, really good food better than Fogo De Chao
Overall good as the price. Meat had some tough parts but all dishes are pretty fresh and good. Ppl are nice and welcoming too.
We really enjoyed food here but now we will think twice because the plates they assigned to eat at restaurant are heavy, it wouldn't be an issue if the meal price wasn't base on weight. We didn't get that much food but we paid almost 40 for my mom and I...before plates to eat in, were disposables and light so I wonder if that had something to do with that high price we paid..was the weight of the plates also included? Or just the food price really skyrocketed 😒
I had dinner there not long ago it was late night maybe 8:30pm and i disagree with everybody here... most meat was just dry, uneatable and no flavor even the black beans with porm that are usually good here at this place were just dreadful the casier was nice and she even bragged how great their food was some other costumers around me just got up and left. I hate to complain but food it is suppose to be good regardsless of the time of serve..not fare.
