Perko's Café

My husband and brothers were extremely satisfied with the food we ordered and picked up. We had 20 to go boxes with a total of 10 meals! The food was delicious as the service provided while we waited for our food was excellent! The restaurant atmosphere was amazingly gracious and family friendly! This cafe is a hidden gem in plain sight! I’ve lived here for a year and this was the first time I visited. Not knowing what Jackson had to offer we stayed away from eating out at restaurants, since there’s so many of us. We’re so grateful to the chef and staff for making our experience so delightful! We’re Islanders with big appetites. This cafe, is a 10/10 for large hungry families and the prices are worth the value without breaking the bank! Thank you for showing us hospitality and feeding us meals to sustain us as we work on the farm 24/7!

My daughter Candela really loves the fettuccine Alfredo broccoli dish that they make and she even wanted to celebrate her birthday there so she could have their pasta. We actually told the waitress that it was her birthday and she brought a Sunday to the table and saying happy birthday with everybody in the restaurant super fun place super nice people and really great prices food's pretty good too.

I eat here almost everytime I come to town. Everyone's so friendly and the food and portion size hits the spot. I have a soft spot for an old style classic diner and this place always fits the bill.

Little bit like traveling back in time to a diner both in terms of the atmosphere and menu. The staff were pleasant and working hard and the place was packed, but they still did a great job. The food was a little heavy, but considering a few of us ordered dishes with country gravy- they hit their mark. Chicken fried steak and country skillet were good...but the texture of bothe the fried steak and potatoes weren't as crispy as I'd prefer. On the whole, a nice spot and step up from a Denny's.

Great service great food got a Cesar chicken wrap it was so good and warm love the fries. 😍 didnt catch her name but the waitress was super nice and attentive. I ordered food to go also and it was made quickly and that even looks good very impressed with the service there

Very good experiences here! Usually come through on the way back from mountain trips with no regrets. This is usually later in the evening AFTER the dinner rush. -Price is reasonable -Portion size is good -Quality is good -Speed is very good (when its slow) They accommodated my request for roasted peppers, no problem! But they didn't ask me if I wanted a third hot chocolate though ;) Overall a stable choice for a good meal.

Fast, friendly, and professional customer service. Unfortunately, the clam chowder soup had a very metallic flavor. Like it was straight of the can, without any attempt to mask the flavor. The salads on the other hand were fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean.

Normally I love Perkos. Have been going there my whole life. Haven't really had a negative experience. I usually get the ultimate French dip. It's always thinly sliced sirloin and always delicious. Today I called in an order of that sandwich and fries to go. Whoever answered the phone couldn't take my order and had to get a server.. weird but ok, also took some time for second person to get on the phone. Anyway, I get home, 20 minutes away and open my food and realize the meat doesn't look like it's usually slices.. I open the sandwich, taste the meat, it's ground beef. It was kinda burnt/crispy and did not taste good. I called Perkos to let them know and was told it was steak cut up. No ma'am. I told them I always get this Sandwich and this has never been the meat on it. She kind of argued with me for a bit, but did offer to make something else. I declined because I wasn't going to drive 40 more minutes round trip again. IF I eat there again, probably won't get the dip, which is unfortunate because it's my favorite.

Place stinks the smell is unbelievable place needs a carpet cleaning and the food was not good hard to believe as we have always gotten great food before today won’t be back
