The food is good at a decent price and is really fast. Cucumber eel roll and salmon express bowl. I prefer the express bowls that are just rice and protein. Easier than picking out specific veggies I don’t eat. Always a good experience here.

First time ordering take out from this place & I have no complaints. I ordered the Spider roll, Mexican roll & the Tampa Roll. I live 4 miles away & my order was ready by the time I walked in. The fried food in my rolls was hot & crunchy. The cucumber and scallions in them were fresh & crispy, too. It's some of the best sushi I've ever had & you can't beat the price. My order came to about $20. I'll definitely be back!

Prices are great and the portions are generous. Got the Sushi and it was fresh and delicous. The Hibachi I saw that other patrons were eating looked very good as well. They have a large variety of different rolls. I will have to try some the next time.

no soft drinks with the lunch special? bro that costs like 2¢. staff did not know the contents of their named rolls, nor did they ask if i was eating in or out, and just handed me take out bags??? which had not been the plan :(. they also had a deal on doordash they refused to honor in person, for those of us who like cold sushi and hot stir fry. i hope this was a terrible untrained staff member, but the older lady in back cooking did not correct her at all.

I used to love Hibachi Express a few years ago because they gave generous portions of rice, chicken, and steak, and the food was always great. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. I recently ordered extra chicken, steak, and rice so I could have leftovers for another day. They assured me they could do it, but when I picked up my order, there was no extra food—yet they still charged me for it. When I asked about it, they told me they don’t even offer extra portions, which makes no sense considering they agreed to it in the first place. On top of that, the portions were way smaller than before, which is crazy for the price they charge. To make things worse, the rice was hard, like it had been sitting out for a while. I honestly think they gave me old food. The quality has gone way downhill, and for what they’re charging, it’s just not worth it.Overall, I’m really disappointed and frustrated. I won’t be eating here again. On top of that I have been feeling sick since I've ate their food.

I ordered lunch from Hubachu Express this afternoon. Within one hour of eating, I developed symptoms of food poisoning. The food arrived lukewarm and was clearly spoiled. This is completely unacceptable and a serious health concern. I would never order here again.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this place for deliveries, but my experience took a turn for the worse when I encountered a shorter, older woman behind the counter. As I approached the counter to pick up my food, she raised her hands in my face, even though I was only a few feet away. I calmly asked her to stop, but she responded with a dismissive “I’m just doing my job.” Since then, I’ve tried to avoid her, but she seems determined to put herself in front of me. The last time I went there, she had a hostile attitude, telling me how to do my job. I firmly told her that I knew what I was doing and that she shouldn’t address me that way. I find her behavior prejudiced, especially considering that she decided to remove me from the app, which pays my bills. It’s frustrating that she feels entitled to treat me less than a human simply because I refuse to tolerate her disrespectful behavior.

This place used to be great, don’t know what management has going on. I asked for a side of lemons and was given 2 small slices of lemon and charged $1 for it. They also tried telling me they didn’t have lemons last time, when another coworker said yes we do. Will not go back there if they want to stress and charge for a literal tiny slice of lemon.

If I could give a review of zero stars, I would. The food was really gross and delivered without utensils. The salad was hardly a salad. It was chopped up lettuce. The “Teriyaki Chicken” did not look or taste anything like teriyaki. In fact, it was dry and mostly flavorless. The “friend rice” was not cooked/made well at all. I definitely want my money back for this! Would not recommend AT ALL!!!

DO NOT EAT HERE! I hate leaving bad reviews and try not to. But this place was beyond disgusting. Not only is the sushi just horrible, the place itself is nasty. The rolls were so poorly made that they just completely apart when I grabbed them. Inside, nobody wore masks and a youg girl kept playing with her hair and face right by the open food at the "sushi bar." Let's start from the beginning, called to order pickup.. I asked if they could do a dancing eel roll and explained its just eel slices on top of a California roll and that I don't mind paying extra. The young girl said yes they can do that. Now when I walked in, the place reeked of mold and was incredibly hot. Like very hot. The girl said hold on my boss wants to as you something. No problem. She comes out and asks for clarification on the eel on the California roll and then said it would be $12.50 extra. I just wanted my food so I said that's fine. But I said if you already made the California roll, don't worry about it. She said no, she didn't make it because she was waiting to ask me. So she grabs the box that had my spicy salmon roll and set it aside and starts making the other. Now the young girl had opened the box and I saw two rolls in there... She brings out the roll she was making and it is just rice with slices of eel. I said its supposed to be on top of a California roll. She then got mad at me and said no. She's not doing that. She gave me the bagwith two boxes. When I opened the other box there was the spicy salmon roll.... with a California roll covered in eel sauce without the eel. I just left. I tried to eat it but ended up throwing it away because it was awful!! Save yourself a waste of time and money and go somewhere else.

A couple of friends and I went in to this restaurant for the first time today. We were looking for something relatively quick without being waited on. We saw this place and thought it would be great. We were wrong. We arrived, and found ourselves to be completely alone with a small table of teenagers already seated. There was no line, and ordering was quick. I was handed a number and sat down. A few cups of soda later, we are wondering what is taking so long as we see people start trickling in, and being served before us. We see that about four or five groups of people with parties ranging form 3-4 are ordering, sitting, and being served food before us. I got up to ask if I was to expect food shortly, and the gentleman behind the counter stated that "It is coming out now." We waited another 5-10 minutes before getting our food. Pictured with this review is the plate I received. A product of around 40 minutes. I could have sat in a real Japanese Steak House and been waited on for literally $3 more. For the food and service, the prices are a little high. I paid $12.98 for a small fountain drink, chicken, shrimp, rice and veggies. Tipping $3.02, it brought my bill to $16 which is well within, and even a little higher than I would've paid at a full-fledged Japanese Steak House for a comparable product. I will not be returning here.
