Este restaurante tengo más de una década visitándolo cada vez que vengo a SMA y el sabor de la comida es el mismo, bueno y rico. Uno de los platillos que me gusta mucho son los huevos benedictinos clásicos. El lugar es rápido al servir la comida. El servicio de los meseros excelente. Limpio el restaurante. Cuenta con cambiador de pañales en el baño de mujeres. También tienen periqueras. La terraza del lugar está muy amena. Precios razonables. Pagos con tarjeta de crédito o débito. Recomiendo mucho este lugar. Me agrada bastante.

Buen restaurante en San Miguel, son amables. La selección de platillos es amplia.
Conocí este lugar hace más de 20 años. Lo recordaba como un espacio acogible con buen servicio y deliciosa comida. Esto no ha cambiado. No tengo presente si en ese tiempo tenían terraza (nunca curioseé), ahora disfruté de una vista grata (las torres de la parroquia de San Miguel) y de una deliciosa comida, en buena porción y un precio apropiado. Ah, aunque sabía rico, algo le faltó al café (quizá mas carga jejeje). Había visto que sus paredes ya no lucían con los retablos con escenas pintorescas y cotidianas, en definitiva ahora sí extrañé ver sus muros desnudos. Aclaro, nunca compré uno, pero era muy interesante ver ese magnífico trabajo al entrar o salir del restaurante. Por cierto, aunque son hermanos, los meseros no son gemelos (por si se lo preguntan).

Un Descubrimiento que sin duda no se arrepiente el haberse topado con el. Es un pequeño restaurante c/Rooftop ubicado a 2 cuadras de la Parroquia Principal, el cual posee su bar en la entrada. El lugar posee una vibra animada y minimalista gracias a sus colores y decoraciones, modernos con sus adecuadas adaptaciones a la casona en donde se ubica. El personal es bastante amable y atento. El menú del local ofrece diversas opciones desde platillos mexicanos hasta algunas opciones de cocina asiática. Para la Entrada o Centro de Mesa, los nachos, serán sencillos pero tienen un gran sabor, totopos bañados en Frijoles Refritos, le suma puntos emplear Queso Gratinado en vez de la típica Salsa Amarilla Sabor Queso, se les puede agregar Carne de Res por un pequeño costo extra, el cual vale la pena pagar, ya que la carne que llevan es de gran sabor, cocinada a la perfección, dando una nueva armonía al platillo. El Wonton es otra opción para el 1er platillo o para compartir, Frito a la Perfección, relleno de Surimi y Queso Crema, acompañado de sus respectivas salsas. Si se busca una entrada clásica, sencilla pero con mucho sabor, las sopas (En especial el Caldo de Pollo) no decepcionan, el Caldo de Pollo cuenta con una porción adecuada de Pollo y Verduras. Como platillo principal es recomendable darle una chance al Arroz Frito Tailandés (C/Pollo, Res o Camarón por un pequeño costo) con un balance de sabores, texturas y frescura ideal, para recordar Phuket o Bangkok. Otra recomendación son los Cortes de Carne, los cuales van acompañados de Guarnición (Puré de Papa) y Salsa a Escoger, de las cuales, la Salsa de Pimienta es un clásico sin errores, con un sabor increíble. Un lugar que merece ser más visitado (y quizás hasta frecuentado) por su atmósfera y sazón.
La entrada parece como si fuera solo Bar, pero nos atendieron muy bien y nos dijeron que fuéramos a su terraza y si nos gustaba podíamos comer ahí. Está súper bonita y bien amable el personal. La comida rica y para nada exagerados los precios. Yo comí pulpo (prometen que será suave) y mi esposo un sándwich. Súper rico, supere recomendable
Muy rica la comida, los huevos benedictinos y el burrito de machaca súper! La terraza está cómoda y muy agradable, la vista está algo limitada, pero vale la pena para pasar el rato Sí lo recomiendo.

Excelente lugar para desayunar comer o cenar cuando visiten San Miguel de Allende. El lugar es pequeño pero se ve que es favorito de nacionales y extranjeros. Tienen buenas opciones de menú la comida es deliciosa y muy bien presentada, con buenos precios si consideran la ubicación Super céntrica. Elaboran sus propios postres, su Café es muy recomendable. En general el lugar está muy bien decorado (se pueden comprar las piezas que sirven de decoración), muy bien cuidado, muy limpio se nota que ponen estrecha atención en darle mantenimiento a todo el lugar. El personal es amable aunque un poco mal encarados, los justifico pensando que aunque el lugar es pequeño siempre está abarrotado. No siempre encuentras lugar así que si puedes reserva u preparate para no comer ahí porque esta lleno. Yo he ido a desayunar,comer y cenar en tres o cuatro distintas visitas a San Miguel y el sabor y la calidad del servicio y la comida no ha variado. Nosotros seguro regresaremos y también lo recomendaremos a amigos y familia.

Estuve en San Miguel de Allende un fin de semana y este es el único lugar que recomiendo ampliamente para comer, desde que te paras en la puerta de otros establecimientos te hacen hacer fila o te miran con desdén, aquí el saludo fue cálido y claramente una bienvenida desde el inicio, en costos, me parece una opción excelente, la comida está deliciosa, vale totalmente la pena. Me encantó El Pegaso, si algún día regreso, volveré con ustedes.
Had a delicious meal on the rooftop at El Pegaso. I had Eggs El Pegaso and my friend had tacos mahi mahi and a shrimp dish. Everything was incredibly tasty, the view was great and we loved chatting with Miguel ☺️
We had such a great time at El Pegaso. Miguel and Lucero on the terrace were so fun, kind and attentive, and the drinks were amazing. Such a lovely atmosphere, we truly enjoyed our visit, and will come back!
El Pegaso is one of my absolute favorite places in San Miguel de Allende, not just for the great food and the beautiful terrace, but for the incredible staff who make every visit special! Miguel and Lucero are truly the "dúo dinámico". They create such a welcoming, fun, and memorable experience on the terrace every single time. The service is always spectacular! Having a female bartender makes a big difference. As a woman, I really appreciate how comfortable and confident I feel sitting at the bar alone, it’s something that truly sets El Pegaso apart. Miguel complements this perfectly with his energy and attention to detail, and together they elevate the entire experience. Fernando, the manager, is always present, greeting guests and making sure everything is running smoothly. I host an Airbnb and regularly recommend El Pegaso to my guests. Many of them have gone and later left notes in my guest book specifically mentioning how much they loved their experience there! I highly recommend El Pegaso!
Wow! What an incredible experience! From the moment my family and I walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and made to feel right at home. Our waiter was beyond amazing so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive that it truly took our dining experience to the next level. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, and everything about the evening was perfect. We left smiling and can’t wait to come back!

Very nice restaurant and rooftop. The menu has a little bit of everything, from mexican to pasta to burgers and salads. The Gazpacho soup was excellent, followed by a Reuben sandwich with amazing fresh french fries. We also ordered the Margaritas, wich were elegantly presented. The service was polite and fast. The background music was 70's and 80's, not too loud so we still enjoyed a conversation. Loved this rooftop!
I can speak only of the ground floor restaurant here but if the bar and rooftop restaurant are as good they are definitely worth visiting. The restaurant is on a lively, traffic wise, corner a few blocks from El Jardin. The dining room is small with large windows looking out onto the streets and sidewalks. The service here was excellent and the lunchtime food very good and well priced. The tortilla soup and beet and lentil salad and ceviche salad made for a perfect lunch. See if you can spy the spires of the Parroquia from your seat and note the interesting art work for sale on the walls.
I had lunch there with a group of local friends. The service was excellent. They made me feel so welcome, and were extremely kind! I had the chiles en nagoda for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious. They give you the option of having it served room temperature (standard) or warm. The iced tea was also excellent. Overall a great experience!
A great restaurant just off the plaza. It’s steps from the plaza but far enough off to be a haven from the crowds. The rooftop is worth a visit but the bar is equally as inviting. The food and drinks are amazing and reasonably priced.

Great rooftop, some area have partial view and the other full view of the cathedral but overall nice place. Food was delicious and the mezcal drinks were soooo good definitely recommended.
Great roof terrace shaded and cool with good views around town. The appetizers were amazing the Gorgonzola with pecan nuts was to die for. The main course was well severed and more than enough food for everyone.
We came a little before sunset and they were quick to sit us and find a space for us on the terrace. The atmosphere was immediatly welcoming and being at the terrace added a nice vacation and relaxing feeling. Around that same time they were pulling the overhead sun covers to reveal the view of the churches around. It was beautiful. Our server was Fernando I believe, and he was playful bilingual middle-aged man with quite a bit of energy; he gave his enthusiastic recommendation for drinks but when asked about the price he just said “don’t worry about the price!” Which was just hilarious. After that they brought a nice chips and salsa appetizer and took our oders. The food did not come fast, but it didn’t take unconventionally long either. If you are hungry and want food right this second, this may not be the best place (though it’s good they give you chips in the meantime). When I asked my table of 4 to each rate the dish they got they said 3.5, 4, and 4.5. I gave my own a 4 just because the salad was overdressed, but overall it was a tasty plate. We also ordered some of their signature deserts (pecan pie and lemon pie) which were surprisingly good. The pecan pie had a sweet yet homie taste baked to ideal while the lemon pie was rich and well balanced. Overall we left feeling like we had a good meal and that we had a good time. This is an international-class restaurant; perhaps because it attracts mostly international and older visitors (from what I’ve seen). This was my second time in hseveral years to this restaurant and I keep the same opinion of it: I recommend.

Domingo por la mañana, te despiertas con las campanadas de la catedral de San Miguel de Allende y lo primero que pienso... ¿Donde voy a desayunar? Me alisté, salí temprano y me sorprendió ya la cantidad de personas que hay desde temprano. Soy un poco caprichoso así que no me gusta formarme para entrar a restaurantes, así que descarté 2 lugares cercanos. Caminando algo llamó mi atención... la fachada, la ubicación, LA TERRAZA! a cuadra y media de la catedral, no tiene la mejor vista pero si el ambiente. Te recibe un mesero muy amable de esos que te dan la confianza de recibir un trato "amigo", abajo tienen buen espacio pero decidí subir las apretadas escaleras hasta mi objetivo, ya arriba el lugar está cubierto con unas buenas pergolas, me senté en la mesa de la justa esquina con vista a la catedral y a la calle que sube. El desayuno típico mexicano, unos buenos chilaquiles rojos con pollo poco picosos para terminar de despertar (o curarla), un buen plato de fruta, jugo verde muy reparador y un café americano con buen cuerpo. "El pancito" (porque son 2 chiquitos) lo acompañas con mantequilla y mermelada de fresa caseras para cerrar tu desayuno con el sabroso café, todo muy rico. El ambiente, familiar, tranquilo, agusto, lo que buscaba.

El lugar tiene una linda vista, el personal fue muy atento, y los tacos de arrachera estaban deliciosos. La sopa Azteca estaba rica, pero me hubiese gustado que tuviera menos grasa, eso le quitaba un poco de sabor.

The place is essentially two restaurants in one but with the same menu. We initially ate downstairs but had to close out before going to the terrace. It wasn't a problem but it was interesting. The food was good--above average chilaquiles. Coffee was only okay. Service was fine. Mimosas were fine. The views up the hill make this place worth the visit. It also wasn't very busy on a Saturday morning so it was nice to get a good table and quick service.
The food is good but not the best in the area. The service is good and people are nice👍 the roof top view is good. They also have other seating options but I didn’t try them. Give it a try!
All the food we got was food, except for the Chili de Nogales. It looks better than it takes. However, they were generous enough to take it back and not charge us for it. Otherwise, it was good.

Great place with tasty food and decent prices! Had the Natalia Salad and their specialty "Pork in Manchamantel Sauce".. both were delicious! However, I didn't like the fact that the waiter couldn't tell us what the desserts were and wanted us to go check at the front (even though he spoke English). He didn't seem well informed. El lugar está bien, el servicio me pareció muy lento. Los alimentos están normales, buenas porciones. Pedí los chiles en nogada, la preparación del relleno estaba muy picoso y no era el tradicional, un poco grasoso.
We stopped by for lunch and found that the restaurant offers both rooftop and ground-level seating. The menu features a wide variety of options. We ordered the guacamole, gazpacho, chicken sopes, and grilled chicken breast. The guacamole and sopes were tasty, while the gazpacho was a bit disappointing and a bit too sweet. The grilled chicken breast was solid. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, though nothing particularly exceptional.
Bastante mala la comida El pollo Kung Pao seco y no fue suficiente cantidad de pollo (menos de 150gr), las verduras de congelador (las de todos los platillos) La “ensalada” de lentejas y betabel malísima, las lentejas mal cocidas y codos con el betabel. La presentación espantosa. Le faltan ganas a la comida.
