A un costado de la catedral de San Miguel de Allende se encuentra este espacio gastronómico clásico, delicioso y tradicional. Un lugar muy especial (sin falsas pretensiones como otros) en donde al mexicano lo tratan muy bien y no lo envían al calabozo. El trato del personal es de primera desde la entrada, el espacio es limpio, cómodo y sumamente bien decorado al estilo de San Miguel. La comida es deliciosa, la variedad es sorprendente y los precios son de la región. Es un lugar de 5 estrellas que aunque no estoy seguro que tenga servicio de hotel, no sería mala idea. Las bebidas son ideales para la temporada de calor, sabores frutales, cítricos, más tradicionales y hay con y sin alcohol. Mención especial: Los postres son de buen tamaño, unos dulces otros ácidos y para todos los gustos. La gelatina de café es de-li-cio-sa.

Llegué a San Miguel de Allende temprano con toda mi familia, obviamente incluído mis animales, estábamos caminando cuando decidimos ir a desayunar, buscamos lugares cercanos y que permitieran a mis mascotas, buscamos en Google y dimos con este lugar. Al llegar notamos la sencillez del restorán pero no por sencillo es feo, al contrario es muy lindo y agradable. Nos atendieron inmediatamente y amablemente, nos ubicaron en una mesa apta para todos y nuestras mascotas, inmediatamente nos atendieron en mesa y nos presentaron la carta, un menú muy extenso y bastante llenó de variedad. Pedimos cosas sencillas pero sabrosas, hubo pequeños detalles al momento del servicio, ya que no eran cosas que pedimos o cosas incompletas, pero se solucionaron rápidamente, cosa que fue sorprendente y pudimos disfrutar de nuestro desayuno. Al final salimos contentos y satisfechos. Un lugar recomendable para el momento en que quieras un experiencia inolvidable.

It’s a super beautiful place with a middle indoor patio with a fountain, trees and surrounded by plants and flowers. Definitely worth visiting. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Most of my party got the chile en nogada a seasonal Mexican dish definitely worth trying. It was very well made and quite big.

A lovely spot for brunch. The courtyard setting is so charming and quiet, even though you’re just meters away from the main square. Food is always terrific here, accompanied often by live music. Staff is very attentive and helpful.

We walked into this place because of the setting, beautiful nice courtyard in an awesome antique building. I wanted to try something different and delicious and there it was, Lamb Mixiote, perfect combo of spices and spice, for the one who doesn’t handle heat, better try something else. I loved it. OMG. 😎😍 my husband had an equally delicious 😋 Chicken 🐓 breast in a green pipián (mole sauce made with pumpkin 🎃 seeds), out this planet 🌏! I first had a delicious vegetarian soup (Oaxacan Soup) zucchini, poblano pepper, corn 🌽 and the key ingredient Epazote. Highly recommend this restaurant, next to the historical Church ⛪️.

I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. My wife ordered the fish tacos that had a light fish that was perfect for an early afternoon lunch. The mango margaritas were incredible. We finished off the luncheon with the tres leches dessert which was worth every bite. We hope to be back soon when next in San Miguel de Allende. The birds in the open atrium were chatting with each other.

What a lovely, lovely spot. Quiet, relaxed, good food. Simple menu with food that is well prepared. Great service, and nice to have a guitar playing while we ate.

We stopped around two for lunch. Beautiful patio, good service and a variety of choices. We had consomé de pollo (chicken soup) salmon with veggies and taco de arrachera ( meat tacos). Delicious.

Great atmosphere with music and fountains. The staff were friendly — though it was a bit jarring to have what seemed like six different people taking your order, filling your water, bringing your food, and closing your check. The food was solid for San Miguel de Allende and I’d recommend this place. In a town filled with tourist traps, this is a safe bet.

A beautiful restaurant located in a magnificent colonial courtyard. On the afternoon we were there an acoustic guitarist played relaxing tunes. Service was friendly and professional. The food was mostly good. We shared one of the salads, which was fresh but small for the price and came with an underwhelming dressing. My wife had the chile en nogada, which she said was delicious but ridiculously under stuffed. She left quite hungry. I had the tacos arranchera... the steak was tender, but it came with only a bit of chopped raw onion and cilantro. Tasty, but inadequate for the price. In the end, we enjoyed our lunch here, but I feel there are many other nearby choices where you can get far better value. But it's a lovely choice if you're not very hungry.

They have a good variety in Mexican dishes from the whole country. Some of them are huge portions, like the Pipian and the chicken in Mole sauce. Those were the best flavor wise too, from the ones we tried. I didn't enjoy the Azteca soup as much, nor the guacamole, they were lacking something, hence the 4 stars. The service were really attentive thou.

La comida estaba bien, para mi gusto americanizada, llena de comino y sabores no mexicanos, pero no estaba mala. Muy lentos para servir, llegamos a la pasada y nada especial!!!

Es un lugar muy tranquilo y agradable, el ambiente familiar y ameno para conversar, la comida muy rica y buenas porciones, los precios son razonables para el lugar. Sin embargo el servicio que me toco fue malo, los meseros fueron muy lentos al momento de atender y se tardó mucho el servicio, a pesar que no había tantos comensales, la actitud del capitán de meseros fue grosera, esto hace que tenga mis dudas de regresar.

El lugar es bonito, su servicio es bueno sin embargo, la comida no me encantó, no tiene sazón ni nada grandioso, su café refil no sabe a café y en cuanto a relación precio-calidad queda mucho a deber.

El lugar es hermoso, la atención y servicio es eficaz. El lechón confitado es delicioso, el único tema es que pedimos un mixiote de cordero y el arroz estaba pasado generando una mala experiencia, pues aunque lo cambiaron mi novia terminó asqueada. Comida mexicana muy rica, a precio un poco elevado, pero el ambiente es agradable y limpio. Nos encantaron el mole negro y las enchiladas de camarones. Solamente una estrella, ya que como en todo lugar en San Miguel, el servicio es bueno para el mexicano, pero mejor para el extranjero. Nos sentamos junto a una mesa de extranjeros. Las dos mesas teniamos un perrito. A la otra mesa le llevaron agua al perro por cortesia. Preguntamos por que a nuestra mesa no? Puro pretexto. Detalles que me hacen valorar mas la experiencia en lugares mas humildes.

The environment and location is nice but that’s all I liked about my experience here. The food was overpriced, bland and disappointing. Waiters were rude and took away plates before we were done eating. Our bill included a Coke that no one ordered so if for some reason you decide to come here, make sure you triple-check your bill.
