Timbers Coffeehouse John Day Reviews
Staff very nice prices very reasonable food is delicious
Great little, locally-owned coffee stop. Quick, inexpensive, and great coffee to start the day. Under $3 for a coffee with a shot! Whenever I'm in John Day, I always start my day with a coffee from Timbers. One of the many great small businesses in John Day.
A great stop before a long drive. The breakfast food was delicious and filling. The coffee and tea was a great option to keep us awake on our drive back to the coast.
Must visit, support this sweetheart of a Team! Service was on par, food hit the spot. Breakfast Burrito 🌯 😋. Drive thru is open but dine in closed for now.
I come to John Day twice a month to work weekend shifts at the hospital. I always look forward to going to timbers and getting an infused red bull and breakfast sandwich on Saturday morning😀! Their coffee is also fantastic and all of the ladies that work there are top notch!
Very good breakfast burrito. Service was such that they brought my order to the car...which worked perfectly for me because I was heading out of town.
Wonderful reclaim of an old McDonald's restaurant - a huge plus for a small town!! Goregous barn wood details and comfortable seating for single or family. Quick stop at drive thru to catch a breakfast sandwich, tea or coffee... Perfect! Smiles galore from all the staff sets your day off right. And, then you can come back for the lunch menu, daily special or fresh salad bar..... They even spoiled my dog at the drive thru, priceless smiles!
Try this top notch cafe bistro in John day, sure you can drive thru without a comfy lounge visit with food fresh and friendly gals that keep the day up. But why miss the opportunity? Timbers for all types and tastes.. try it out!
The girls here are just the cutest so fashionable and very sweet and innocent with me with no coffee in my brain yet to think I'll definitely be back and be telling all my friends in Long Creek:)
Great menu, delicious breakfast burrito and baked goods. Friendly service. Good coffee. Nice atmosphere, amazing prices.
Highly recommend! Supremely delicious bacon chipotle breakfast burrito & caramel breve! Cheerful service! Thank you!
Sweetest girls ever and the best wrap I've had in ages. The coffee is very good too!!
Best coffee in grant county, very clean, and the employees are very nice and friendly. They also have the best breakfast burrito around.
Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Plus they gave my dog a piece of bacon. Ringo says 5 stars.
Breakfast burrito was great! Strawberry smoothie was great! Most importantly the customer service was outstanding!
Love this place! Yummy coffee and Italian sodas! Decent price. Food is tasty!
I love their breakfast burritos and their sandwiches. Great coffee shop and the decor is awesome!
Delicious coffee and baked goods. The salad bar is wonderful and so are their sandwiches. Everything is good.
I have traveled around the world. I am in Tokyo currently. Me and my wife still haven't found a breakfast burrito that compares to this godly place. Y'all have ruined breakfast burritos for us everywhere else we go. This place is special.
Delicious food with reasonable prices and simple variety. The biscuits were so soft and fluffy. Very delicious! As well as the pancakes. Best I’ve had! The coffee was top tier! I got the blended Carmel heath! 😋
This is drive thru only, but the service was as fast and prompt as some fast food places on a busy day. The team was on top of it, and everything was delicious. My friends got the breakfast sandwiches, and I got the BLT. Both were great. Drinks were tasty. All for a good deal, too. Would stop here again.
Not to exaggerate but they make the best breakfast sandwich in the country. Bagel sausage bacon egg and American cheese with mayo. Honorable mention is the Warmed Up Maple Bar. Friendly staff as well.
[ ] Biscuits - soft and delicious. And cheap! I like these!
Great coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches that are out of this world. It's a small town and to have a good choice for breakfast is nice. Give it a shot you will love it.
Quality coffee. Great food. Must stop and try. Specially after camping for a few days. Always love stopping in when working in the area
Best part of coming to spring baseball in John Day. Good food with a lot of small town service.

This place is awesome. I’m in here everyday for my morning brew, and lemme just say, these ladies know how to throw down on a good coffee, and their cook, his food is some of the best breakfast in town! You guys rock!
We are from out of town but always try to support small when we visit. Coffee was a great pick me up! Thanks for yummy drinks!
Super friendly, great service and fast. The only coffee location open early on a Saturday morning. They made my iced latte perfect. I ordered a white chocolate & carmel with an extra shot of espresso. It was delicious 😋.
We live about 180 miles from John Day but I can assure you this is our "go to" coffee place whenever we're passing through. They make fresh breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches and have lovely fresh-baked (yes, from scratch) pastries. There is usually a pot of homemade soup simmering and a beautiful, fresh salad bar. To top it all off the coffee is wonderful. My husband likes his dark and he is always pleased. The owner is very sweet, friendly, and makes rounds often to be sure everything is good. The staff pay close attention to details when taking our order. They always get it right the first time even with several changes. The rustic, western-barn style decor creates a down-to-earth pleasantly comfortable atmosphere. The restrooms are always kept very clean and have a tasteful decor matching the rustic cafe. We've never been disappointed with any purchase here. I am happy to recommend this coffee shop to anyone who likes a good brew with a delicious breakfast or lunch! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!!
Great drinks and food. I recommend the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a sugar free huckleberry infused Rebull! Also Taylor is so kind! 12/10 service.
They make some really tasty coffee and my wife loves their smoothie's! A couple times we went through the drive thru and they actually gave our dog a strip of bacon. I was amazed by that! I enjoyed the huge tasty breakfast burrito too! It's an entire breakfast wrapped up in a convenient package. They also have some tasty treats and sandwiches. I love the decor as well.
Great little breakfast spot! I wouldn't call it fast food, but it is tasty, and they have a drive through. It is fun to see how they remodeled the place, as it used to be a McDonald's! They have a good assortment of coffee syrups and offer several types of beverages. They also sell some local gifts inside, and the staff is very friendly over all!
Great Service, Great Food! Waitress came out to my car and took my breakfast order as a Covid 19 courtesy. She got everything right and the eggs were a perfect over medium, the bacon was big slices and tasty, the Americano coffee was flavorful and just as I ordered. The only slight ding I would give is that the hash browns, while plentiful, were too obviously from a freezer bag.

Drive thru, good coffee, nice staff, awesome breakfast burrito. Pricey, especially after price increase. no food in sunday. I really don't like the way they do tips. to be fair it's not just them but every place that serves coffee in America. I don't feel I should have to tip considering I'm taking out.
My sister got a Ice Rage and she said it was the best coffee she'd ever had. However, they don't server food on Sundays, which disappointed me
Always really good coffee, friendly employees. Got a bagel breakfast sandwich and was tasty
We stopped here for breakfast. The dining room is currently closed, so they’re doing drive-thru only. The coffee was drinkable (admittedly we have high coffee standards) and the croissant sandwich with sausage was quite good. My travel partner’s traditional breakfast was less impressive, the toast wasn’t buttered and the eggs were fried within an inch of their lives. But overall, really not bad for a small town breakfast.

Good customer service and good attitude from the workers but, the chicken bacon burger was lack luster for what i paid. Asked for mayo and mustard, only got mayo. Asked for pepperchini's, got two normal sized pieces and four pieces that were barely the size of the nail on my pinkie finger. Sadly gonna have to give it a 5 out of 10
It's not Dutch Bros. or the Human Bean but the coffee is good. The little gals at the window are always polite BUT watch when U order anything SUGAR FREE. I dont think the younger his know not to put chocolate milk in a Sugar free Snickers or MilkyWay. CONFIRM THAT THE DRINK IS SUGAR FREE AND THAT NO CHOCOLATE MIMK WAS USED & you will b good to go.
Good breakfast burrito but no indoor seating.
Bubble gum kids creams is THE BEST! I dont know how they make it, but I'm sure there's magic involved... coffee is pretty good too. Drive thru seems like it's just for coffee and drinks...
I requested for Alisha to make my drink because she does it the way I ask, as the last few times it was not as asked. The lady that took my order acted upset that I made this request. I had a wrap made and ordered chips with it which was not included. Not my best experience there
Great food, but the wait was long
I usually get great food and great service but today I got a half warm sandwich and no side of ranch. Nothing more frustrating than having to eat on the road and get down the road to find out you have no ranch.🤦♀️
Incredible service, but the chairs were uncomfortable.
They have very good coffee but it's not worth the wait going through the drive-thru. Please open up the lobby again so we can have a fun enjoyable family time.

If you don't have the seating area open, then maybe put a bigger sign closer to the parking lot entrance rather than waste people's time? Drive-thru only at 8AM, really?
A breakfast burrito shouldn't take 30 minutes.
Great breakfast…. If you have 45 minutes to wait. Every single time i drive through John Day i try to stop here but i have never spent less than 30 minutes waiting in line for a burrito. Ridiculous.
