Amazing DQ and great service. I actually live next to a Dairy Queen and it's terrible so I drive to this one to have a consistently good experience. They actually know me and the one time I had a problem they replaced it the next time I was there with no issues.

If you are a true Dairy Queen fan or just enjoy good American fast food, you need to add this place to your "must dine" bucket list. Dairy Queen is a franchise which means the majority are independently owned. This location is a 10 star location. The experience begins with the workers who are seemingly always on point with greeting you and seeing you off with good tidings and good food. So now let's examine the food. Anything that requires veggies, be prepared! The veggies are so fresh, they are still growing when their put on your food! I mean the burgers are salads with patties! The meat is seasoned and the hotdogs are flavorful. I have tried their entire menu and not one time did they disappoint. I can't forget about the dumplings.... they are a bit sodium heavy but hey it's a foodies delight! So come out to Joshua and try this DQ, because I can attest to the fact that the inner city DQ's are simply pimped by this one here in good Ole Joshua!

Friendly staff. Ice cream you have several options. Quick service. Day food. Burgers, tacos, chicken tenders. Breakfast items are served in the morning as well.

This is my favorite place in the entire world. I'd miss somebody's wedding just to get a burger here. (August 30 2024 edit here) So i came in today. sat my butt down in my usual spot. and everything was fine until i spotted a piece of food on the floor. it looked like someone tried to mop it and it didnt want to let go of the floor, now it looks like some kind of mutated monster. i was afraid it was going to crawl up my leg or something. luckily i survived

Drive thru was very busy so I went in and immediately was greeted by a happy smiling face. Haley took my order quickly and efficiently and is a very sweet girl. So glad I went in. She is a good example of what an employee should be like.

Omg, so tasty. 😋 ordered three times here and every time was done correctly and even above expectations by providing sides and condiments napkins all without being prompted by me. The employees have been friendly and efficient each time. I guess I'm going to be a regular here 😊

Came for a late night dinner with my family and John at the register had very excellent customer service and just every thing after that went so well and was just overall happy with the service and food at DQ!

Great food , great service. Repeat customer and recommend highly. Usually go through drive thru but had time to kill today so went in for lunch. I am disabled and was having a bad day walking, the lady that took my order seated me, went to the soda fountain and got my drink, ketchup etc.. When leaving she beat me to the door and opened it for me. The lunch was great but the service was refreshing. Any business would be proud to have her as a employee

Okay so sadly I have not been in Dairy Queen in a quick minute. Went through the drive-thru and it was quicker than I have ever seen in the 30 years that I've lived here. Got my son one of those new orange dreamsicle dipped cones and he loved it. Prices were not outrageous and the customer service was great. There are a lot of young folks there that someone train them right they were very courteous. Customer service is a huge thing and in a world where it going down the tubes it's nice to see our hometown hot spots hitting it out of the park.

Fast service on a holiday weekend was amazing. My order was out within 2 or 3 minutes and the food was good as far as fast food goes. Overall I would have to say that it was a pleasurable experience.

Not only did I watch as you held the door without being asked as a couple walked in, but you were so polite as I hailed you to my car. You were wonderful in removing the skin from the nuts on my sundae and were so fast in getting what I needed. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

Love Dairy Queen reminds me of growing up and my dad taking us there. This location is always clean and the staff is usually always friendly, they just hired a new group this last month and they seem to be lacking in the friendly department but hopefully that will change. New group seem like little robot's. Lol

The drive thru is usually a little long but the wait is worth it, food is always fresh and the customer service is excellent! Charlie is super great with his customer service skills!

I live 30 Miles from this Dairy Queen. It has the best food, hot and fresh. Those in Benbrook have come and gone, mainly people running it didn't care about people and uf the food was good or not. The one in Westworth village is ok, but the one in Joshua is excellent.

Never in my life has a Dairy Queen put chocolate dip in the bottom of my cone, when I ordered that magic shell on the outside. What a happy surprise ending! These people go above and beyond. God bless them.

Been a while since I’ve been to DQ! The service was great and the teenage girl Kamille working the counter was very professional and had great customer service. 10/10 will be going back to get more ice cream.

Everyone and I mean everyone that works there are friendly and helpful and always in a cheerful mood. And the food is always good and hot. And they have the best french fries around.

My son says, "It's *so* good!" My wife says, "It's very clean." I'm too busy eating my Blizzard to say anything. EDIT (2022): Today, I saw an employee (Victoria) jump up to help an elderly couple that she realized were struggling as they came in the door. She took their order at the table and tended to them. Above and beyond.! EDIT (2024): I'm continually astounded how nice they are here and how they all seem to enjoy their work. There's now a sign that says they were voted the nicest store in Joshua. I believe it.

Staff here is very friendly and I've not had an unfriendly staff member here yet. The food is Dairy Queen so it's good for Dairy Queen. The blizzards are wonderful. But I would choose this Dairy Queen because staff is always been extremely friendly. That will keep me coming back.

I don’t live here in the area, but pass through for work. I’ve twice and they didn’t disappoint either time. Fresh cooked burger and fries, quality that I don’t see everywhere anymore. Very friendly staff. Keep up the great work!! I commend the entire team.

I went while they were having a big crowd of highschool kids. I knew I would have to wait a while to get my order but I barely got set down at the table and they were bringing it. The crew there were really working well as a team to get all the customers taken care of in a timely manner. I was quite impressed. The food was hot and delicious. Good job!

I had a bad experience but I am disabled and this has been my favorite fast food place since moving here 3 yrs ago. During Covid my only place. The only time I eat tacos are on Tuesday. I only get them once a month and I found out I was saying I want the 3 taco combo and I guess for 2 yrs the cashier has always been smarter than me and rings up the 3 for $3 and the drink separate as a good person thinking on there feet and giving the customer the best deal. I ordered 1 extra taco and my meal was over $10 ,I was expecting my normal $8. Told the manager and her answer was you ordered the combo it's alot higher. Really, it's not like it comes with fries. If a stupid customer says taco combo on taco Tuesday a light should go off and just ring the drink separate. It gives the right deal for the customer and doesn't cause friction with employee and customer. If I ordered 3 tacos for 3 dollars they are the same three tacos in the same box if the stupid customer says combo. It's called common sense and training. Still gave you 5 stars because food and service is always good

Very attentive and friendly employees during my afternoon visit. Two of the younger employees I feel went above and beyond their job duties. The young lady offered to put my grandchildren's chocolate dipped cones in a cup with a cover and offered me a drink carrier that fit my two drinks and cones perfectly. The manager on duty was very professional as she guided the younger Male employee on the register. Today was my second visit to this particular location. I will definitely be coming back.

We always get Aimee and she is just the sweetest. We only get a 30 minute lunch break and we are always ordering for at least 4 most of the time. They are so nice and kind and quick.

Dairy Queen is notorious for taking a long time to get your order completed. We went on a Thursday night and were the 4th vehicle in line. We had our order in-hand in about 5 minutes.

I don’t often get to go to Joshua but when I do and if I’m hungry, I make it a point to stop at the Dairy Queen. It has been in Joshua as long as I can remember and seems to be a popular gathering place. The food is always good. The service is always friendly and speedy. Definitely a must stop in place if you’re hungry and in Joshua.

The DQ team in Joshua is super nice and helpful!! I had Doordashed some chicken fried steaks from Cotton Patch and for some reason they did not add gravy on them. (Not a disaster but eating dry chicken fried steaks is not fun)! Anyways, long story short I called the Joshua Dairy Queen to see if they could just sell me some gravy and they said they would be able to! They accommodated my needs and helped me save a lot of time, which I appreciate! I’ve had nothing but good experiences here and the staff are all so friendly! 100/10.

This is a GREAT DQ location. I drive from Burleson to go to this location. SUPER friendly, fast service with a smile. The food is cooked to order and always tastes great. There are a lot of sloppy fast food places nowadays. This is not one of them. II would HIGHLY recommend this location.

My family and I have enjoyed coming to your restraunt since we moved here in 2021. Always a great experience which is why we come back. I did have a different experience today but I'm still giving you 5 stars. Please encourage your employees to make sure the lettuce is 👍🏻 and green. Today, my chicken fried steak sandwich tasted not so good, and upon further investigation the lettuce had began to wilt. I'll be back, I would just not like to have this same experience duplicated in the future. Ty

Came here the other day to order two meals and was told to pull forward to wait for the rest of my order. Unfortunately, I waited a while and one of the employees accidentally gave my food someone else. Accidents happen and that can be frustrating, but the manager provided such good customer service that I’ll definitely be coming back FOREVER! She was apologetic, provided a refund and ensured I was well taken care of. In general, the customer service I received was amazing and it’s not often you get that kind of service these days that keeps a customer wanting to come back. Dairy Queen can have all my money any day of the week! Give her a raise please and thank you!

They get my order right about 90%of the time. Staff is very friendly. Burgers are sometimes a little burnt. Overall though it's pretty good

I like this store. Be aware that Hwy 174 is very busy. Be careful. The store is very clean and the staff was great. We enjoyed our experience enough that it was worth the scary left turn on exiting the store to head to Burleson.

Service was good the gentlemen that helped me was really friendly. Food was Luke warm steak fingers weren't fresh too hard to eat.

Got our food under 20 minutes of being there. Great service when it's not really busy. Very cool how they still turn the blizzards upside down when they give them to you. Goes to show, even though you may redo the whole look of you restaurant; you still keep the same values..

I go here quite a bit. There are times where they mess something up but I can assure you it is rare. If I order from Door Dash or I go up there, it's on point 9 out of 10 times. The manager lady who after all the years I've been there I should know her name but I don't. I apologize. You cab just tell how good of a manager she is by her employees and how well they do. I am very happy. I go there and what they recognize me from being there so much they are ALWAYS so nice and polite and really make me feel welcomed. Way to go manager! The way your store runs shows a lot of how well their management is.

We ate inside (first in restaurant dining since March). Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Tables well spaced and plexiglass up at register. We were able to find a corner away from other diners. Staff at counter need lesson in mask wearing over the nose. It benefits them and their nearby coworkers. :)

It is with some reservation that I relay a solitary instance in which a member of the staff regrettably exhibited conduct that fell short of the expected standard. However, I am inclined to extend a degree of understanding, considering the palpable strain evident amidst the tumultuous influx of patrons. It merits acknowledgement that the prevailing clientele, on more than one occasion, presented an elevated level of exacting demands. Nevertheless, these occasional blemishes aside, the overarching customer experience has remained favorable, and I remain appreciative of the relentless commitment displayed by the diligent Dairy Queen team of Joshua Texas.

Small-town service and quality. They always get the order quick, and right, in my experience. Good management, possibly? This seems to be a popular place with the locals; I've never seen it empty, or so crowded that I couldn't find a table.

Love this place, but they need to put the whipped cream and cherry back on their Sundays. Since when is a Sunday just ice cream and syrup?

The customer service is always good and store clean. The burgers are not as good as they have been in the past. I got steak finger basket last month and really good but tonight it wasn't. They were so thin I could almost see thru them. Disappointed.

I'm giving a 4 star but only for the morning crew. Your night time crew needs new leadership. This is the third time in a week that I have visited in the evening and tonight was the worst of the 3 nights. I counted 4 people in the kitchen. They kept coming out from the back. Each one told me "Someone will be with you in a minute." Only two cars in Drive through and two customers in restaurant. Was not busy. It almost seemed like I interrupted everyone's smoke break. Wish the morning crew could train the evening crew. I got tired of waiting and left.

We enjoy shopping at our local dairy queen, it does appear that they have a high turnover rate here. When they get busy there is a bit of chaos trying to catch back up and typically the ice cream orders get forgotten about. Great atmosphere, will continue to support them.

We got 2 cheeseburgers, 1 with bacon. One didnt have cheese and the one with bacon, all the bacon was stacked together on one side of the sandwich. Both were sloppily thrown together. For the time it took to get them out, and the money spent, i expected a bit more. They were delicious but come on. Get it together with your workers.

The staff is friendly, but this store often gets my order wrong. I've resorted to asking them again about my order at the window and asking them to check with the kitchen just to make sure. This store is also inconsistent in how they prepare some items

First time eating at this location. The Drive thru attendant was very hard to understand and our order was not complete. Otherwise the food was decent and cooked well.

I LOVE Dairy Queen. I love their food, the employees, the cleanliness of the dining room. Just one minor flaw. If I say I want a Hamburger, that's exactly what I want. A Hamburger. If I want cheese on it, which I very seldom do, I'll say, I want a Cheeseburger. Even asking if I want cheese on my Hamburger irritates me. No worries. I will still eat from Dairy Queen and hopefully, someday, cheese will not be on my Hamburger. Thank you, Judy

Food is ok at best, and you always have to check your order before leaving...and their food is a little pricey....HOWEVER, they have wonderful ice cream desserts that are usually made spot on! Love coming here for dessert after dinner or a treat for after school.

Waited 10 minutes pulled to side for steak fingers, but they were great! Unfortunately the fries had sat in box for 10 minutes waiting for steak to cook so they were gross. They gave me new ones. They need to clean tea spout bc tea tasted bad.

So the people were very rude they gave me dirty looks because I forgot to order ice cream and the chicken was wet and cold the French fire where so wet and soggy.🤮🤢

Every time I come to this store I order jaletos thay make me pull around back and wait .I get there today they made me wait in line for twenty minutes for two drinks why two people get a full meal

I ordered a BLT sandwich with extra crispy bacon, no tomato, add cheese. Very disappointed that the sandwich was not made as ordered. Tomatoes were ON the sandwich & NO cheese; (I was charged extra for the cheese). I do not live in Joshua so was unable to return the sandwich. Not a very happy customer!

December 1, 2020 I was in Joshua Texas and hungry so I decided to stop at DQ the name of familiar with Dairy Queen service was nice greeted through the door took my order but what I receive since it was 12 o’clock at lunchtime was a steak finger basket with four cold steak fingers Luke warm gravy and hot tater tot‘s so that’s the reason why I have the two rating good service with bad food gets a low score every time

This place has really gone down hill...our orders were wrong and blizzards were completely melted going 5 min home. Avoid this place!

Policy is to wear mask correctly- not enforced or monitored. Employees not concerned health and safety rules. If you get a positive hit on virus then that would open your eyes.

Horrible place to make a to go order. For some reason they can’t understand how to put a lid on cups when people have to drive half an hour home to eat. 4 blizzards to go with 2 people in the truck and everything is overful with no lid. So now, I’m going to have to pay to get my interior cleaned. What was supposed to be a treat for the family turned into a couple hundred dollar bill for a bunch of trash that wasn’t edible by the time I got home.

The guy was very rude and got in our faces and was yelling at teenage girls over order we paid for and didn’t get and we even showed the receipt to him and he continued to scream at us and refused to give it to us. If your wanting service maybe he shouldn’t be here.

I would give zero stars if i could… I just went there and spent 26 on a steak finger basket, 3 tacos, small fries and a snickers blizzard and I asked for the steak and fries to be extra extra extra crispy because my brother had weight loss surgery and he likes his food over cooked because it is easier to digest so that being said I was given chicken strips instead of steak fingers and they were NOT CRISPY the fries were so old so he didn’t eat. I wasn’t given my fries so just a complete waste of money at this DQ

First time to this location. Went through the drive through. And fries were hot so were chicken fingers. But the gravy wasn't gravybit was just water. Won't go here again ever.

Nice remodel. Now you need to remodel the customer service. Was there yesterday. Only 2 highchairs for a place that large. Really? Had to get my own booster seat with the baby and my stuff in my hands. She just pointed to it across the store. Only 3 dressings to choose from and two were light ranch and ranch. Then she she was literally complaining OUT LOUD about the mess people left on the tables behind us! This was yesterday evening. Rude. Lazy. There are other places to get a burger and fries.

We ordered 30 dollars worth of food. 2 baskets and 2 sandwiches get all the way home and missing a steak finger basket. Once i get all the way back up there she said we didnt pay for it wouldnt reprint my receipt and wouldnt give me the missing basket. Went ahead and went to Fastaco so id get what i ordered.

Worst meal ever. I was very disappointed .I can't believe it they weren't going to give me a drink at first with that 6$ meal deal . Then I had order mayo they put mustard . And we waited forever just to get meal when we went in . Went threw the drive threw afterwards.andgot two of the meals and thats the part they should be proud of getting people threw the line quickly . I won't eat there again .

Not a good experience, I asked for a grilled chicken deluxe with cheese and received crispy chicken. The buns are old and stale and fell apart, it was so bad I could not even finish it. The grill cook was wiping his nose with his wrist and arm and not wearing a hair net or face net.. hair in the food is not a good thing. I will not ever go back to eat there again..

I have been in Joshua for 39 years and always had very good service and polite service at the Dairy Queen, but tonight changed. The person working in the window was not polite, should not be working in front of people as customer service.

I haven’t eaten a steak finger basket in years. My mom and I decided to get 2 of them for dinner. I was completely disappointed. The steak fingers were ok,however, the gravy was like water. It ruined the whole meal. I don’t understand why businesses raise prices and then cut corners. Dairy Queen please stop sacrificing quality and taste for a few extra pennies gained. I was very very disappointed .

Don’t EVER come here you will waste your money and give it to lazy people who don’t deserve it. Came here on this day at around 8AM and ordered 2 orders if 8pc steak fingers. They gave us two orders of 4pc steal fingers which would be fine if we didn’t pay the $32.67 for the two 8pc combos. What a scam. Go literally anywhere else because at least your money won’t be going to a charity for lazy people with room temperature IQ.

Used the app to place online order for curbside pickup on 9.13.20 at 7:10 pm. I ordered nachos, no tomatoes, no lettuce, add extra chips and cheese. $9.18. I got a plate with just chips and cheese sauce. It’s my fault for not double checking my order before leaving, but I couldn’t imagine a circumstance in which someone could not read a typed out online order and still manage to get it wrong. It’s astounding. Please work on quality control and systems.

Went threw the drive thru on 01/12/21 at 4:45 pm and the lady was very rude. Ordered a sundae and a blizzard. She threw both in a bag. Didn’t give me time to put my card up while she was trying to put the bag in my truck. Blizzards are supposed to be turned upside down it even says that on the window. While putting my card away she opens the window again and says what do you want. Wth kind of people do they hire?

The location I went was to Alvarado, TX. My husband and I ordered a dessert that was made wrongly and so, I asked my husband for his credit card to return this order and get the money back, what happened? when I go in, I asked immediately for the manager, guess who was the manager? the one who also gave me the order wrong, we asked for 2 cones, (one medium chocolate cone, one LARGE vanilla) when she handed to us the medium chocolate cone and then the "large vanilla cone" the vanilla cone was LITERALLY smaller than the medium chocolate cone" we both look at each other and he asked to her, it's this large vanilla cone? she responded: "Yes!" so I grabbed the vanilla cone and told my husband to go park cuz I want my money back, then is when I asked for that manager who was the same person who took care of ur in the drive thru and responded to us that the order was correct, what happened? she saw me and without letting me even speak, she grabbed my cone fast and with attitude and told me: "ill fix it" well, she for 1 took FOREVER to just poor a vanilla cone, which makes me think what else she put in it, so when she finally comes back, I had the chance to tell her that I didn't want another cone, that all I wanted was my money back, so, she couldn't hide all her body language acting ghetto, grabbed my credit card and CHARGED us to the credit card another cone instead of returning or money. I left without a cone thinking she returned that money to the card and when we got home, I asked mu husband to check on that return payment and tell me what happened, cuz my intuition it's amazing, well, indeed, she charged us again and threw my ice cream in her trash. This type of management is what makes places look bad, and lose regular customers like she did. We decided to never returnas long as she still there givig attitudeto people just becauseyou are having a bad day or you are working under pressure, doesn't mean you should treat the unhappy customers the way you did.. karma its real lady and pray to my universe, that someday you pay for being a thief. If there was an option to not put a star I would have picked that one and not because of the food. The food is good that's when they actually get it right and 99 percent of the time they don't why because they are kids who no matter what will get paid. I have been in the food industry for about 10 years now and I have never been more upset at the way I get treated every time I go here. Let me start with my order I always order a HAMBURGER WITH MUSTARD AND KETCHUP ONLY and a MEDIUM CHOCOLATE SHAKE WITH NO WHIP Cream everytime without fail they put cheese on the burger and whip cream on the shake. Now I would beore understanding 1 if they were busy or if I didn't go in to get it fixed and 4 of them have headsets on including the cook. Also the little girl who handed me my change back and dropped it in between the restaurant and my car because she was so worried about looking at the line behind me instead of paying attention to the customer at the window is probably one of the rudest brats I have ever seen. It's to the point of I worry that they will do something to my food because they know my order which I know they wouldnt but it's just the vibe I get. Now mind you this is the night crew. There is never ever a suggested upsell or repeating of my order back nothing! It's ashame really if I was a manager and had complaints like this every single last one of them from the manager on duty to the dishwasher would be retrained or fired. To work in this business is having an amazing personality to deal with people everyday that is your job and no matter what the customer is always right. I just wish they would straighten up

Trunk or treat is basically a lie on there sign. One reason why I said this is because ma and my family showed up and it said 6 - 9 pm and they were closing up and it was barely 8 pm on the 30 of October. That's false advertisement.
