We recently visited Corner 99 in Katy Asian Town, and it was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment the food hit the table, we knew we had found a new favorite spot. We ordered the beef brisket, fried rice, and the pork vermicelli bowl—and every single dish was incredible. The beef brisket was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The fried rice had that perfect balance of texture and seasoning that’s surprisingly hard to find. And the pork vermicelli bowl? Fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. Honestly, some of the best we’ve ever had. One of our favorite surprises was seeing Parish Brewing beer on tap. Great food paired with excellent craft beer just made the whole experience even better. If you’re anywhere near Katy Asian Town, do yourself a favor and check out Corner 99. We’ll absolutely be back.

I’ve been there twice, and It’s such a good restaurant. Their pork and rice has so much flavor. I would highly recommend it. Egg rolls are nice and crunchy too, packed with meat.

If you know this shopping center, you already know the parking situation is a nightmare. It does not matter if it’s a weekday or weekend, you’re probably circling, waiting, or questioning your life choices. Once you finally commit and get inside though, Corner 99 makes it worth the effort. My son loves this place, which is always a good sign. He got the pot stickers and chicken skewers and was locked in. Kid approved, zero drama. I went with the pho and wings. The wings were amazing, crispy, flavorful, and definitely not an afterthought. Easy to overlook wings here, but they showed up strong. The pho impressed me even more. They did not skimp on the protein at all. Generous portions, good noodles, and a broth that was rich and full of flavor, not watered down or bland. Service was solid and food came out fast even with the place staying busy. Once you’re inside, it’s smooth and relaxed despite the chaos outside. Bottom line, if you’re already dealing with the parking in this center, Corner 99 is a great move. Solid food, kid friendly, and you leave full and happy.

Corner99 is always great. My go-to order is the shaking beef with steamed rice and a fried egg — it’s my favorite every time. They also have some of the best craft beer options in the Katy area, which makes it even better. It’s one of those places you can count on, and I recommend it to anyone in the area.

Corner 99 is the best! The Pot stickers are one of my favorites along with the salt and pepper calamari. The food is always good and comes out hot. Wednesday’s are by far my favorite day when I can get the best banh mi I’ve ever had. The owners are super sweet and friendly. We go as often as we can!

I found this place yesterday by randomly zooming in over Katy china town in my maps. I went to the website which looked good and it had a good google rating so I decided to try it. I got the vermicelli bowl which I was scared to do because I was going to get it to go, also ordered the grilled meat with rice with an egg and the pot stickers. Y’all. This food is so good, I actually went back today to get more lol! I wouldn’t be surprised if I go back tomorrow but finally eat it there. I want to try more on the menu now. It’s really cute inside, small and intimate and the staff are friendly and greeted me immediately both times I went.

Amazing food and honestly best pho in town. Outstanding customer service. The chef puts so much love into the food and you can really taste it in every dish. The bonus is they have the best selection of craft beers and great vibe. Honestly our favorite spot and we drive over 30 minutes but so worth it. Highly recommend you check the brisket fried rice and the brisket pho is so delicious. Stop by trust me you will enjoy it 😋

The Google reviews did not disappoint. I had dinner here and ordered the egg rolls and shaking beef with steamed rice. Egg rolls were hot and crispy. Shaking beef was packed with flavor and meat was tender. Restaurant was clean and staff was attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu items.

Well, I was impressed about the spot. A nice modern spot for Vietnamese food. The skewers are probably the best skewers of any type that I’ve tried before, the meat was, flavorful however, the beef was my least favorite. It was two and tender for me. The tofu dish was really good, up there when it comes to tofu dishes. The service was a little bit lackluster, there was no napkins on any tables and I had to weigh them down a couple times for things. I wish there was more comfortable seating benches were uncomfortable.

This place was delicious. We ordered takeout and everything was made very quickly and was great. Ordered the beef Noodle Soup (pho) and the Shaking Beef with fried rice. The beef was so tender and well seasoned it was addicting. Highly recommend.

They have best fried egg noodle! Tried the vegetable one and fantastic. The noodle is chewy and juicy with some sauce flavor. The fried chicken is also good, if you like fish sauce~ would be a little special. The service is very nice and we enjoyed chatting with the lady (owner) .

The pork spring rolls are huge & perfectly seasoned, salt and pepper calamari is crisp & tender, pork banh mi’s are savory & melt in your mouth, banh canh cua is spicy & rich, hot cheek dumplings are a decadent delicacy, and the pork vermicelli bowl is something I could eat every day!! The restaurant has a great ambiance, service is top notch, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Corner 99 is a must try!!

Excellent experience! The servers were very helpful and friendly. They made really good recommendations, including walking my husband through making a pepper-lime combination sauce which was exquisite! One of the owners stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meals. The glass water bottles are a really nice touch and the food was amazing! The fried rice was light and flavorful, not greasy like most. I'm impressed and will be back. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Really enjoyed this place! We got shaking beef, tofu crispy rice noodles, and tofu spring rolls. Simple clean flavors with high quality ingredients. Very fresh. Rice noodle dish had a crispy noodle pancake that had nice texture. I did not try the beef but husband said it was very good. Beer selection is great and fair prices. We got 3 pints and the total bill was $41 so very reasonable for 2 people. Left very full! Will be back

My friends and I visited on a Saturday night and surprisingly, there weren't that many people inside. We were seated right away and I noticed that the water cups/dishes they use here are pretty cute! My friends ordered an appetizer (skewer) and beer and said they were both good. As for the entree, I ordered the Bahn Can Cua (tapioca noodles with shrimp, crab, and pork). I’m personally someone who is super picky with anything pork related and really sensitive to gamey tastes. The soup was a little too strong for me at first but when I added the lime, it was significantly better. The pork slices, shrimp, and crab were all delicious! Overall, it wasn’t the best bahn can cua I ever had but it wasn’t bad at all! Service was good too.

We came here after a late concert performance to eat. This was December 2025 at around 7-8:30 pm. After 8 ish, people started piling in, but not too many. Not very crowded.Let me tell you first… this food was soo good! The portions for each item were good for us (one adult 2 kids) We ordered the shaking beef, calamari, and a pho Bon-mi looking thing (can’t remember the name!🤣) It also came with a couple egg rolls. The shaking beef was absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! So was the pho bon-mi thing. On the other hand, the calamari was not as crunchy and crispy as I expected it to be. I could not really bite through it. The egg-rolls were mid, good, but not THAT good. However, the staff were very friendly and this one young girl who was constantly helping us was very helpful! The prices are okay. I think some of their food is really good, while others are mid. The atmosphere is very chill and nice. Since we came during dec, they had a nice Christmas tree up. They also had a selection of drinks which was nice. We didn’t try any though. On the way out ( or in), there was a nice decorated table with some lollipops and a sign that said, “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Chef was cute, would eat here again.” 😂 I just find this very funny. Would eat here again, staff is nice and bathroom is clean. If you eat here, the shaking beef is SOOO good I’m not even joking, you have to try it!!!!

So disappointed in the to go experience. Was really looking forward to my first meal of the day when I saw the meal prep size container, my face fell. The portion of my shaking beef is the smallest portion of shaking beef I’ve ever received in my life. It’s less than 4 ounces of meat and I looked at other Google pictures and looks like dine in receives double the portion. I feel so cheated… This is my first impression of this place too :( I definitely don’t recommend this place ‘to go’. Hopefully dine in is better should someone choose to go.

Horrible experience and food. I don’t believe these reviews after our experience. We should have taken it as a sign that on a Saturday night they were not really busy in comparison to some other businesses around. We asked for an extra dinner plate to use to eat the food as we shared everything and the lady said to use the teeny tiny one on the table. She just walked away carelessly without offering us a plate or solution. Service is bad. They all stand at the corner of the bar and did not pay much attention to their tables. I had to wave my hand multiple times to get anyone’s attention. It was literally some of the worst service we have ever had. The food was equally awful. Our shaking beef was raw inside. The beef in the noodles tasted rancid. The shrimp in the fried rice tasted fishy and gross. The only decent things were the fried items we got which was the potstickers and veggie spring rolls. We notified the waiter that we did not enjoy the noodle dish or the fried rice at all and he showed no care, offered no solution, and just went on like nothing. We spent a bunch of money for bad food, subpar service, and stomach aches.
