Trailhead Beer Garden Kerrville Reviews
Super chill place, really enjoyed date night on a porch swing. Hubs had a beer, I had a mocktail, very refreshing. Fun hangout.
always a wonderful rich musical way to set the tone for the upcoming week. staff is great, music is fantastic
Great place to hang out on the Schreiner campus. Good music. Good beer selection.
The music was as Cool as the shade and light breeze!! Amazing Musicians with Amazing stories ❤️
Love this spot. So much fun for large groups and family. Something for everyone to do, beer garden is excellent, and food has been great from the trucks every time so far!
The food truck was incredible!! The beer list and non-alcoholic beer was a good variety. The whole place is super cute, with corn hole and a pickle ball court. Lots of outdoor seating and bistro lighting.
The food is actually from Vecinos, a food trailer, and is quite good. Trailhead Beer Garden, to my surprise, is on the campus of Schriner University. The beer is from various breweries, with a good selection from stouts to pilsners. The service was great. They have lots of outside seating and corn hole. I don't know their entertainment schedule, but we are here on a Friday night, and they have entertainment. Great place to relax with a good brew or wine.
We love this place. There are not a lot of places in Kerrville where your kids can run around without fear they will run into a busy main street. Everyone needs to start coming out here and supporting Trailhead cause it’s a genuine gem. The live music is great, the historic building with the bar taps is done really well, the food trucks there are always top notch.
We loved the beer, food, and ambience!! What a beautiful little gem in Kerrville on the Scheiner University campus! Definitely check it out!!

Food trucks. No other dining onsite
Great place to grab a drink. They have great local beers on tap and others in the bottles. The atmosphere is amazing and fun. Definitely a great place to relax or celebrate
Interesting menu, great vibes, and friendly staff - so good
Great venue. The sound system sounds very natural. There is plenty of parking with easy, close access. Some seating available but you are better off bringing your own camp chair. You can see and hear from the sides of the stage. Good seating all around. You can purchase beer, wine, and soft drinks. Water is available. There is no iced tea available. Bring your own There has been a food truck parked nearby but I don't know what's going on there. The selection of artists has been good but check the schedule for your preference or try someone new! Choose the road less traveled and expand your listening. It's been hot but there is plenty of shade. During August there was a slight breeze and that made all the difference.
Max the server here is wonderful—always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food trucks are consistently tasty with great variety, and the live entertainment adds to the fun atmosphere. It’s a tranquil place to relax and hang out, and I always enjoy the vibe. Highly recommend stopping by!
We had our high school reunion here! Absolutely beautiful atmosphere, big open space, and plenty of games and to do. Non-alcoholic options and extensive drink menu! Such a cool place to relax in nature and socialize!
Was staying in town overnight and stopped by after learning the breweries nearby close at 9 pm on Saturday night. 😮 I got there an hour before their closing time of 11 pm. I didn't know it's on a college campus, and that made navigation a little tricky, but no biggie. It's a rustic place with a nice outdoor seating area and some indoor seating, too. Good selection of Texas beers. I got one from a Kerrville brewery, Pint and Plow, that unfortunately was closed already. It was a saison and very enjoyable. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to visit them in the future. I recommend this place to hang out and sip on some brews. You'll have no trouble finding a beer that suits you. Very good--and interesting, not mainstream-- music on the sound system, too.

Very nice surprise while crossing through Texas, good beer, kind staff and great vibe in general. Hope to get back and stay for a few hours, and a few beer of course.

Great atmosphere! The food trucks have weird hours and workdays, wish they were more consistent. The live music is great! There’s a Sand Volleyball Pit and Pickle Ball Court, as well as a Disc-Golf Court, two Corn Hole Sets and one Washers Set. Overall, it’s a worthwhile visit. GREAT little spot to pass a quiet afternoon with a cold beer or two. No food BUT theres usually a food truck out in the lot dishing up great burgers! The building is early 1900s and mostly original. Wood floors, open windows, no screens, na A/C but pleasant even when 90+ outside! Proof that people survived millenia without A/C. Slow down, pull up a chair, and enjoy a cold beer in a grear setting!
Although it’s a bit hard to find — and I know my way around Kerrville a bit; and Schreiner students will certainly know it better — it’s well worth the effort. Parking is plentiful. The main building itself is very airy, with light on three sides and a wood-burning stove in the middle, like for those cold nights in February that we had. I had a delicious 16oz kombucha for $7, which I still thought was a bit steep. The only food is small bags of chips for now, so make sure you eat beforehand. Out front are tables and cornhole games. To the side are picnic tables and a music venue. Beyond the building is a sand volleyball court. It was fairly quiet when I visited today, Sunday, but I could see how this place would definitely rock. What a fantastic addition to the Kerrville scene.
Awesome spot for local beer and good music. Also a great place to play some pickleball
