Great value, great food and a parking lot. They also have my favorite Cuban in Key West (I know I know, you're rolling your eyes). The service is always good and the place is well kept. It's my family's "go to".

Local Restaruant that gets it. They are all about fresh great food cooked to order. No it’s not fast food but they get it out to you fast and fresh. It isn’t sitting on a heating tray it is cooked to order. Yum Try the captains burger extra extra cheese yum. Family owned and operated. The cook is the owner and the entire family works here to make sure you food is delicious.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. I was part of a large group of medical students holding a health fair in Key West, and Sean and his staff were so amazing in providing lunch for all of our volunteers. They are so wonderful about helping us out (and have been for the past 40 years). Everything was done in an organized, timely manner and with a huge smile on all of the staffs faces. Not to mention, the subs are absolutely DELICIOUS. Everyone was so happy and it’s all thanks to the amazing team at Miami Subs.

Giving 5 stars because everyone that works here is super nice. Good burgers and cheesesteaks. Good ice cream. My only complaint is they use too much bleach to clean. But at least they are cleaning.

Onion rings and conch fritters are the absolute BEST in town!! Steak sandwich is phenomenal!! 40 years of amazing service with an amazing family!!

Stopped here on our way back from the Keys. Burger, fries, Philly, and mozz Stix were all very good.

We recently had Miami Subs cater for our employee party of 100 people. The food was phenomenal! And the customer service was just as wonderful! We had quite a few special requests and they were able to accommodate them all! Most certainly going to Miami Subs for all of our parties!

Hanging out t keywest, this was the perfect place to polish off a night wining and dining in Margaritaville. Food was excellent and prices reasonable. The first thing I looked for when returning to Atlanta was a Miami Sub. Guess what. They are only in fla. Maybe I'll start a franchise.

Used to eat here as a kid, when it was still in Indiana, 15+ years ago. Always come here on vacation in Florida. Hands down the best steak and cheese sub in the country. Classic is still the best hands down. Clean. Old school blue and white. I’ll be back in April.

This is a GREAT family owed and operated location, very clean, friendly staff, and fantastic food for good prices. I had a chicken Philly that was made by the owner and it was awesome. Keep up the great work guys

This place is my favorite casual place to eat. It's a family owned and run place. The food is good and fresh and prepared upon ordering. Food comes out quickly and hot. And the prices are reasonable. You won't go wrong by eating here.

Their Italian is my favorite! Schedule our dr appts around their opening hours and stop there every chance we get. Thanks for never disappointing.

Rockin Cheesesteaks!!! full menu of all the good stuff and good staff every time I go in there. EVERYBODY should work a year in food service to see what it’s like and every time I go in there they treat us right. Had one time where the chef came out to ask if my fries were still hot and brought me another one to make sure. Burgers are made with higher grade beef and you can tell right away.

Chatted with Shaun (the owner) who spent time letting us know all the great places to go in town as this was our first time in Key West. He and his family have owned this place for 40 years and their attention to customer service shows it. We will definitely be back during our stay.

Miami Subs will definitely be the first stop on my next trip to Key West! Miami Subs immediately became my favorite Key West restaurant. Everything I tried was excellent, but I have to say that the cheese steak was my standout favorite. On top of that, the staff was always friendly, and the restaurant was spotless.

It is so refreshing to walk into a restaurant (especially with children), be welcomed into a clean atmosphere with friendly, attentive employees who are doing their best to accommodate the needs of everyone, with warm smiles and a quick turnover of quality food. Thank you for making our lunch time (and after beach time) so great!! Plus, bathrooms were so clean!!

Excellent steak subs! Was needing a late bite and was pleased that this establishment didn’t close till 11pm. Wife and I both loved our steak sun, ended up going back a second time during our 5 day stay in Key West. Service was very informative and timely as well. 10/10

Awesome burgers! Cool time warp of a place. Think 80's Miami Vice and you get the vibe. The place is super clean too. Friendly service and reasonable prices for fast food that is so much better than the usual chains. I grew up in an area that had a lot of Drive In restaurants. This place takes me back there. Somehow they have made a chainstore feel like a Mom and Pop! Well done!

Excellent food and ice cream. Thoughtful and attentive staff in a 1960's family atmosphere. A frequent dinner time stop for me. I have not worked my way through the menu yet but I have been very happy with things so far, particularly the gyro platter. Generous and delicious.

We were just in Key West for a week and found Miami Subs on our first day. We went back several times for amazing food, especially the Cheesesteak sub and conch fritters. The restaurant has a great local vibe and the staff are amazing. Miami Subs is a must stop in Key West.

After some very frustrating experiences trying to get some ice cream down town, I remembered Miami Subs had ice cream. (I used to teach at H.O.B. & often grabbed lunch here.) The service was so great, we ended up getting lunch and ice cream. Thank you Lauren for turning our afternoon around! We'll be back!

I moved out of south Florida a while ago so I was very excited to stop back by here while I was down for vacation and this place as always did not disappoint. The staff was quick and friendly and the food was amazing. The ice cream selection is very good as well. I will definitely be back on my next trip!

I ate here a total of four times! Never. NEVER. Had I am bad experience. Good ALWAYS fresh. Even with six cars ahead of you you are not in line long at all. Popeyes, sonic, and the other so called fast food spots need to take note!!!! This place is highly recommended!!

100% recommend! I needed a couple platters for a babyshower and Miami subs had the platters done in record time!! The sandwich’s were fresh and a perfect food choice. I will ALWAYS recommend and have them cater every party from now on! 10/10 for sure.

My experience here was good. I order a to go order, everything looked clean, the person taking orders was polite, fast and something I liked is that she was aware of everything, welcoming those who arrived and saying goodbye to those who left. I know that this is done in restaurants but in fast food of this style I have not seen it so common. Good job

I can't put into words how great of a place this is! My husband & I went for the 1st time today & we left so happy that we tried Miami Subs! We had the gyro platter & Philly cheese steak sandwich & everything was fresh & absolutely delicious. The guys that work there were so nice and friendly, it was so nice & refreshing as we haven't found that many places here. The prices for everything was reasonable & that's a fresh of breath air being here. I can see why they've been in business for so long. We will definitely be back!

Just had ice cream, but I miss Miami subs from my time as a teenager in Jacksonville, FL. They closed down years ago and I thought they went out of business as a franchise. Glad to see they are still around, the Gyro platter was always my favorite.

As a lifelong Key Wester I can honestly I dont know another restaurant with such consistency. Consistency in their food, their customer service, and last but not least consistency in their commitment to serving an amazing community while embracing tourists with their Barefoot Billys stand in the parking lot. Not to mention, they have the best milkshakes you will ever have.

These folks know how to treat customers and our police, rescue, and Fire people!

Great Experience for a catered luncheon for a large group(28) ordered boxed lunch and a few app trays with chips and cookies and a drink. The amount of food was great and everyone was very impressed. It was delivered right on time. I highly recommend! Shawn and his team did a great job and were very helpful during the entire ordering process to execution. A++

I really love this place, a step above fast food but not the tourist trap prices of many local places in Key West. The chicken creaser salad is amazing! We have it for dinner several times a month, its the best at any price! Fast service, great burgers and so much more. Seriously go here! AMAZING!

Very friendly staff and good food

One of the last Miami Subs in Florida this family owned location had the best fast food experience in the Keys. Hot food, fast , and very clean. Love being able to walk in and remember the nostalgic feeling of when I was younger eating gyro. For the kids there is a great selection.

Hands down best locally owned and best family restaurant in key west. Everyone needs to try it if you haven’t and if you’ve been come back.

Dear Owner, I beg you to give no credence to the uncultured swine who said this place needs updating. Perish the thought…! This is a treasure that must be protected!!! I felt like I had stepped into my childhood. It is a clean, bright, late 80s/early 90s time capsule of a fast food joint. Even the music matches the nostalgic vibe. From the faded watercolor paintings to the teal & pink & gray everywhere, please leave it all in place for time immemorial! P.S. The food is great and excellently priced. Portions are much larger than you get in other fast food chains.

We ordered catering from Miami Subs for a recent business party. From the first contact through pick up, the process was absolutely phenomenal. They made sure every single detail was covered and there was not one bite left from the party! The food is delicious but the serve is top notch. Service was good, the conch fritters with their special sauce is worth giving a shot. Sandwiches were all good except the tuna was a little lackluster.

We stopped for dinner after watching the sunset. Wanting good food, but also wanting to get out of the rush of the historic area. Atmosphere took me back to Miami Vise era. Staff was very friendly. Food was great - so many fries!!! Highly recommend.

The customer service is always great, but I had an exceptional interaction tonight with Adrianna. She remembered a small mistake with an order I had picked up weeks ago( an order of fries was missing) and added it to today's order. This may seem very minor, but working in food service, seeing hundreds of faces a day, it really speaks to her level of customer service. The food is great and the people working there even better.

Love this place. The food is great the people are awesome! I worked at one when I was a teenager and still love the food. I stop every time we are in Key West. If you get a chance come by and get some great food.

I'm really glad that I found this place. I just want to say that the workers at Miami Grill in Key West are some of the friendliest people that you'll meet, and they care about doing a good job. My family all loved our lunch. We visit Key West about once every other year and we'll definitely return. If the workers read these reviews, I'm the guy from Wisconsin that spilled my soda first thing after the restaurant opened on New Year's Eve. Adreanna is the best employee at Miami subs ! . I had terrible food somewhere else and she hooked it up . All of the crew was so nice , restaurant was clean . I will be back !!!!!

Love this local spot for lunch! They offer a great daily deal, plus they have a great service.

Super clean, excellent and friendly service. Family own. Everyone is so friendly. Love that they have pamphlets for sightseeing. They also sell incredible ice cream. We will definitely come back.

This is the best medium strawberry milkshake I’ve ever had. And the person who made it was really nice as well. Milkshakes like these every day I would be a much happier person, I live really far away and they would melt by the time I have them shipped. Thanks other reviewer who said this is the milkshake in Key West. All of the others were further away than this place and it was truly the best I’ve had so far. It’s the milkshake I’ve had in Key West, but I would drink it again.

Excellent sandwiches, made to order, and they will let you customize them (I like extra meat). The ice cream is top notch, you don't expect good ice cream at a "fast food" place like this, but they have it. Family owned, they recognize their regular customers and you are always greeted with a smile when you walk in, whether or not you are a regular. I highly recommend.

What a great place for a delicious and calm lunch away from the downtown hustle. I would share a photo of my gyro platter with you but I devoured it. The flavor and crispness of the gyro meat was better than my favorite Greek restaurant back home. They also accommodated my mother who wanted a small salad with a scoop of tuna fish. It’s a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are all super friendly from the counter staff to the kitchen staff. I will definitely be back and recommend you stop by soon. You’ll love the variety and quality of the food.

Great food well run facility! Clean!

Our family of 5 has been in Key West for the last week and this has been our go-to lunch spot. We stopped in for lunch our first day and the wings, fries and gyro were awesome. We kept stopping back by for subs for our boat lunches. They tasted great even after being in the cooler. The ice cream and shakes were also delicious. Even when busy, the service was fast and the restaurant was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back when we come back to the keys.

If you are in Key west, Miami Subs , is the most underrated local owned place(Franchise-yes) on the island. The family who owns it are amazing, the food is incredible , and service is first class. FYI, the onion rings are very good, BUT- the Fries are Great. That Gyro is delicious!! If you’re looking for a Diner/SubShack type infusion - this is it. 10/10 recommend!! Thanks y’all

Miami Subs is all around the absolute best!! The sandwiches are fresh, filling, and delicious. Being here reminded me how much good food and kind people can really make a difference. The owner and his family are some of the most compassionate people I have ever met. They are friendly, patient, generous, and welcoming, and you can tell they truly care about their customers and their community and take pride in what they do. They go above and beyond to make delicious food and provide incredible service. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and instantly feel taken care of. Food was phenomenal. Gyro was fantastic, fries were seasoned beautifully, and the couch fritters are exceptional! The lady behind the counter was super friendly as well! The dining room layout and colors remind me of the old taco bells from my childhood. It was so friendly and welcoming im excited to try some of the other food they serve.

Locals favorite. Best conch fritters ever! Great choice of fresh made salads as well. Something for everyone. Always an enjoyable meal with great service and a smile.

I lived in the Hollywood area for 10 years during the 90s & you were my favorite place to go to get a great Cheese steak and fries. Just realizing the only location left is in key West 😥😥. I guess a trip south is the only way to get some of your great food,maybe 1 day soon ....

Miami Subs in Key West is spotless, with some of the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. The service is fast and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. A great place to stop for a clean, tasty meal with a smile!

The special today was Italian spicy sausage with provolone cheese, peppers, onions, and marinara sauce. All I can say is OMG probably the best sandwich I’ve had there thank God it’s a special or I would eat it every day.

Estuvimos comiendo cuando fuimos un par de días a Key West. No conocíamos esta cadena de restaurantes y nos fuimos muy sorprendidos. Nos encantó la comida variada, de buena calidad, todo estaba muy bueno. La decoración súper bonita, con colores alegres y el personal muy simpático. Ojalá algún día habrán algún restaurante en España. Simplemente maravilloso!!! Con ganas de volver y probar otros menús.

Friendly service, Conch Fritters were tasty.

We door dashed this one night and it was amazing. The subs, sides- all of it so flavorful and yummy. Nothing was cold or soggy when we got it too.

If there is anything that can be said about Miami subs it is that it's consistent. This place has good food all the time . I personally prefer the gyro platter however any one of the items on the menu are always fresh and made just for you. The service is always great and everyone that works here is pleasant.

Being fast food- this place hit the spot. It is a refreshing vacation from the Taco Bell and subways of the world. I got the Philly and it was surprisingly delicious considering it is fast food. The fries are Cajun seasoned. The chocolate milkshake was really frozen which was great. It gave us time to get home, eat the meal, and finally enjoy the shake without it being melted.

Food is good. Stuff is helpful. Prices are really good. The 4 start are for only one reason; lack of consistency! We eat from their 3 times. Everytime the food is good but also comes in different portions every single time. We will still come back. :)

Good sub sandwiches. Ordered the Club Sub and it was big enough to share. Fast efficient service. Good place to stop by, pick up a sandwich and head to the beach. Much tastier than those other chain sub shops.

The manager of the store was very kind to me and my girlfriend. I have worked at this location in Key West about 30 years ago. I'm glad to see that they are still thriving after many years of enduring hurricanes and loss of tourist business due to the rising cost of living in the area. Congratulations to the manager who has over seen the store through the many years. Congratulations to his lovely wife as well for putting up with me during my visit to the store.😁

I think 3 stars is extremely fair and right for this location. The food is mediocre at best and the price is extremely highly only to keep up with better chain restaurants. Service is okay the workers are great but the menu is horrible plus not easily accessible from the US1.

Great customer service but my original Philly cheesesteak wasn’t amazing. The onions were raw and the bread was overly toasted. But the bread that came with the Caesar salad was delicious. Warm and buttery pita bread.

Sandwich was alright. Our Jalapeno Poppers were barely warm. Seems that a lot of the locals grab lunch from here. We really enjoyed their FRIES!! Can't beat their prices - that's for sure! Great for a quick bite.

Today is August 05 2020. I was spoken to in the drive through speaker by 2 separate employees and at the window was a new voice as well. So 3 different people total. And they all seem very short tempered or short fused. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but man, did it kill my vibe. September 19 and ordered a Bacon Burger. This is the lettuce that came on it. I did not have BBQ sauce on it either. Slimey and brown.

Staff is cranky at night Wouldn’t help me with my order for door dash. The menu is different on their website than the door dash menu. I am partially disabled and just came here to Key West for a vacation I thought a nice delivered meal would suffice, only to get nothing but negativity from your establishment. A few days ago, my wife and I decided to dine in at your establishment, and to my surprise, the day staff was very friendly and helpful. They saw my with a cane and brought our meals to us. We each had the Philly cheese steak but very dry and all the cheese evaporated. Might I suggest a little cup of cheese or cheese whiz to dip? Very disappointed and there needs to be some sort of manager at night who knows the menu and takes care of phone orders.

the food was very NASTY and so was the attitude of the manager Shawn. I purchased a very nasty and hard gyro fron this place only to bring it back and him to tell me there's nothing he can fo about it it's perfect either I can throwing it a way or they can throwing it away. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VERY NASTY PLACE! I'm not a local but if I ever visted this place agin I will not spen one dollar at this establishment!

Don’t order online. Waste of your time for this location. They do not have everything offered and they haven’t changed it. Update: I was advised I would receive a refund and confirmation email. Neither which has occurred. Called back and to speak to the manager and was told it’s a corporate issue. So which is it? Corporate business or family run? How can you be family run and no control over your online orders? Still no refund.

Online is a joke. I ordered everything i we wanted, put in my payment info!!! Then nothing. Can't call them busy signal like back in the day some bullshit 😒
