Edgar's Big Taco Kilgore Reviews
Best tacos around, hands down! I don't live in Kilgore anymore but we drive over every chance we get for our taco fix! The green sauce is a must have too! 🌮❤
AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS TACOS!!! My taco place & the dessert is just as good 🤤
The birriro tacos (hope I spelt that right) we’re amazing will definitely try again!!
By far my favorite place for tacos in the area! Their quesabirria tacos are just right amount of flavor & heat, not too spicy just right. Wish they had a location in MARSHALL! But, their tacos are so good, they are definitelyyyy worth the drive to Kilgore. Pictured is BIRRIA pizza & quesabirria tacos both with barbacoa 🤤🤤🤤

How can you give Edgar's anything but 5 stars!!!! Amazing food get you a birria pizza! Thank me later!
Came to this restaurant for the first time, and the food and Horchata water was delicious, definitely recommend :)
If this was the only restaurant opened for the rest of my life, id be happy.
The tacos are really good and the service is great
I got a barbacoa torta. I absolutely loved it. My husband got a barbacoa taco and said he loved it also. The guy working there was very kind. I would totally go back again. I highly recommend this place.
I love their street tacos and like that they are always having a special such as $1 tacos on Mondays and 12 tacos for $10 on Saturday. For the price of the tacos the portion size is good. They always have my food out fast and fresh. One of the best places to go around the area.

The best house made guacamole and quesobirria tacos around! Paired it with a tall glass Coke and it can't be beat!
Good fresh affordable Mexican food. I had the Big Steak Burrito. It had good flavor and definitely filled me up. I also had the corn in a cup (Elote) which was a good size portion for $3.00. My 2 year old daughter had the quesadilla with a side of rice. I've never seen her eat rice so fast!! She loved it. The staff and other customers were very friendly and welcomed us with smiles. I would definitely recommend having lunch or dinner at this nice little restaurant. I fed my family of 4 for $35, tip included.

Pretty good food. Clean. Taste is heavier on the Tex side than the Mex. I've had the tacos and they're ok here but I was more impressed with the big burrito. Hot sauce was like thin tomato soup.
First time here. I ordered the flauta special and a steak burrito for my husband and I. The flautas were tasty. At $6.50, this was a great lunch special. However, the burrito I ordered for my husband was more like an overstuffed taco. It was not well put together and had way too much rice. The meat was flavorful though. It was worth the price but not more.
Green chicken enchiladas $6, Friday’s special yummy 😋 they also have Monday’s street tacos $1

Only reason the get four I stead of five is that the street tacos missed the mark a little bit. The chicken was dry, however the need was pretty good. Everything else I've tried here has been awesome. Their salsa has a great flavor, plus they sell it for take home also.

Food was average, I had the regular tacos add avocado to go. Staff was not very friendly or welcoming.
Good food. A bit pricey compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area but that's to be expected considering the inflation in this country at the moment but still higher than others and you can purchase coupons off Restaurant .com. Street tacos are the size of a drink coaster or smaller. Go with something else unless they are running a special and they haven't done that in a year or more. Other than those 2 gripes I really enjoyed their food. We go about once every month or two. 3 stars because of no specials, very high prices and very small portions.

Ordered four street tacos, one of each type of meat (chicken, birria, barbacoa, and steak). I only liked the steak. The rest of the meat was tender but lacking in flavor. I requested avocado on top for extra, but it was a very thin slice on each taco. Kind of disappointing.
Edgar's taco was not good. The CHIPS and QUESO are store bought. The cilantro was matted, they provided no type of sauce. You can taste the results of cutting corners. The quesadilla meat resembled dog food, (I mean canned meat) the smell was not pleasing.
#1. Place was very clean #2. Ordered chips and salsa, watched the waitress pour chips out of a store bought chip bag Yuck! #3. Ordered Big burrito (i asked for no rice or beans in it) So all that came in it was meat & cheese (OK that's fine) Tasted like canned meat (disgusting!) Didn't offer lettuce or sour cream (that might have disguised the taste) Lastly, the burrito was served on a paper plate! (What!! Who does that in a Mexican restaurant!) #4. Other person with me ordered green enchiladas, pretty bland no tasting dish! #5. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Save your money and pay me to make you an awesome Mexican dish 😁
This place used to be good, but not anymore! The whitest version of authentic Mexican food I've ever had. Tastes like something a cat would eat out of a can. Disgusting chunks of fat, gristle, and even had a bone chip in it 🤮 If you come, only order the sweet tea!
