It's better than most DFACS on FT Hood, but it's still DFAC food.

They do good on occasion. But, you can tell sometimes the workers don't care for what they are doing and half work. Sometimes food is burnt and sometimes its undercooked.

Nothing exceptional, this is a standard army dining facility. If you have ever been to one then you know what to expect.

Cold food, cold staff, hot drinks that should be cold. Only gets 2 stars because the breakfast is usually decent. Got fish and rice and was toldI could get no more meat or carbs and veggies were considered carbs so I just ate fish and rice. Unsatisfying.

This place is going downhill. The food quality is really lacking, as are American soldiers eating in it. Foreign national soldiers are the primary customers.

I am a retired soldier living in Killeen. I have not eaten in a military dining facility in years. Well recently my brother also retired and myself decided to eat here. The soldier in charge of collecting the money (the headcount) didn't know what he was doing and was totally lost. This let me know he was not trained or briefed prior to opening the doors to begin serving because we were there right at the opening time for dinner. He had to get the NCO on duty who finally showed him what to do. Then when I finally had my food it was not hot. If you just opened why is the food cold? So the soldiers there that day were eating food that wasn't hot. That's failing our soldiers they deserve a hot meal. So I decided weeks later to eat here again. maybe they just had a bad day the first time. I could not believe it everything was exactly the same the food was cold and the headcount on duty once again didn't know what to do when i paid for my meal and he had to get and NCO. Once again not briefed or trained before opening the door.The chain of command for this facility needs to get this place in order because the leadership is lacking from the top.
