I eat here quit often and I'm not even a fan of Chinese food, no matter where it comes from. But their lol mein is to die for. The combination lo mein I excellent. Nice and hot, vegetables nice and crisp. Full of meat. Idk what all these other people are talking about. They are obviously just picky, and need to chill. Wok on Fire is excellent.

We have been ordering from Wok on Fire for years. Our favorite place for Chinese in this area. They are to-go only right now due to Covid and have a huge barrier up to protect themselves which I can respect with all of us who still want to go out and eat. Food is always fabulous and portions are always enough for 2. Hands down best place in Killeen for Chinese Food.

Way better than any other Chinese Resturant in Killeen. Ordered for delivery and service was great, food was hot and everything was actually nicely bagged. Ordered the Teriyaki Chicken with crispy noodles, wonton soup and 2 vegetable egg rolls, a definite must.

The food is amazing. These guys are better than the Chinese place in cove right off business 190. I order orange chicken all the time and my kids love their food too. Deliver time is fast and reliable.

This place is sooo good. The delivery was super FAST. The food was piping hot and fresh! It's taste delicious! I just ordered delivery and omg it is great. The portion sizes are great for the price. The delivery driver was so nice as was the lady who took my order over the phone. I will definitely be ordering again. I never do reviews but this was worth it.

Always delicious food! And I don't know who this new lady is answering the phone for orders, but she is amazing! A perfect model for professional, quick, and efficient. I've always loved this restaurant, but her service is what prompted me to leave this review. Great job Wok!

Take out because the eating area is closed. Has been since covid. Got enough food for two seniors at a great price. Flavor is worth getting food here.

Best General Sao in the area. Kids love the shrimp lo mein. Sweet and sour chicken is great. The fortune cookies aren't stale like other Chinese in the area. Haven't had a bad experience with Wok On Fire yet!

This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Killeen. I’ve never had a bad incident with this place. When I had my food delivered, the driver was extremely nice and my food was hot and the wait time was about 15 minutes. They always get my order right and it’s always tasty. My experience is always fantastic and the customer service is grand.

I ordered the cream cheese puffs, egg roll and sweet and sour chicken and was told it would be 30-45 min. 15 min latter they were at my door. Opened everything and found white rice instead of the fried rice that I ordered. I called and they said that it would be another 20-45 min.... 5 min latter I had my fried rice!! EVERYTHING TASTE FANTASTIC!!!! I WILL be ordering all of my Chinese food from here. No question about it!

Since the hunan palace has joined them the food has gotten better and the human location worse I order via dd but the combo plate is good food is always hot and fresh for me

Ordered for the first time. Extremely fast and food was hot! Ordered egg drop soup, steamed dumplings, moo goo gai pan, sweet and sour chicken, California roll, chicken lo mein with white rice. There wasn’t one dish that was not absolutely delicious. Best I’ve had since being in Texas the last two years. The portions were large and fresh ingredients. Will make this a regular!

I am ALWAYS GREETED with a great and warm voice on the phone. I always have my food Before time quoted. I am always surprised by the great quality and taste of foods served and portions given. I am very happy that this business is so accommodating to my whims and love working with my idiocy at times. The food is always hot and served to my door as I'm one of those whom does not go out much. Thanks for being understanding and being in business. I adore you guys and gals very much. Keep up the great work from someone who cares alot.

We’ve ordered multiple times from them and it’s always been excellent. The food is always hot, tasty, and decent portions for the price. Their delivery is super fast - I usually have my order before GrubHub even updates that it’s on the way. The Moo Shu Pork and Mongolian Beef are two of our personal favorites. I’ve yet to be disappointed.

Food was amazing! Not only was the food fresh, but it was hot! We ordered 1 Monster roll, 1 Texas roll, 1 beef with garlic sauce, 1 large hot/sour soup and 1 sampler plate. It was all packaged with care and even placed in containers with presentation in mind. Highly exceeded my expectations! What’s crazy is Wok on Fire beat the hubbies’ Domino’s pizza delivery😂

Love them. I've never ate in the restaurant, only delivery and it's always delivered in about 20 minutes. We've tried several plates but love the orange chicken the most. The fried rice doesn't have veggies in it, but it's still delicious. Great over the phone customer service.

Good food! Little pricey but price goes up every time all around in our economy. I had the House Fried Rice 🍚🌾 and I recommend it.

Rec'd the flyer in the mail, several months ago. For some reason I had a strange hankering for some Chinese/oriental food. I'm gonna give these guys a try.....So far I placed my order at 8:21pm, the young lady of the phone told me, that' my order would be delivered in 30 minutes or so. We shall see and Let's hope its good...........To Be Continued......

Delivery was very fast, food was still very hot and freshly cooked. Reasonable prices. Lo mein wasn't quite my taste, but other than that really enjoyed everything I ordered.

Pretty standard mediocre Chinese place. I got the sesame chicken and it wasn't bad. Seams like the kind of place where you should just stick to the simple stuff. Decent delivery time. Like I said, don't expect greatness, but it was what I was expecting

R

They work fast, i didn't have a wait almost at all. The food seems like they prep it then cook it latter. Makes it faster for lunch times but if you're looking for 5 star dinning you might want to check Austin. Because a Chinese food place next to a hotel isn't the place for you.

The food is good! But STOP DOING THIS. Like seriously, knock it off. Every time.

Delicious! I come from a small town with only one Chinese restaurant and this reminds me of that cute little place. I got vegetable fried rice and it was great! Egg rolls, are alright.. not bad! Crab ragoons were amazing! I also got the egg drop soup with the little fried noodles and that was good aswell. I paid almost 8$ for an entire plate of rice when I expected a small box! Still yummy. I will be coming here again!

This is a small family owned place. I think the food is great and I eat here for lunch at least 20 times a year. They seem to hire single moms and students to work the front meaning they are giving back to the community. I have never had bad service and feel there combination fried rice is the best in this town. Just my 2 cents!

We ordered the General Tso's chicken and fried rice, sesame seed chicken with fried rice, chicken Lo Mein, and the kids meal sweet and sour chicken with a side of crab ratio. The fried rice is just steam rice fried, instead of having anything else in it but was still tastefull. Next time I'm getting the vegetable fried rice. As for the lo mein, the vegetables were cooked very well and flavoured the pasta very well. I'd add a little salt but was overall good. The chicken in all courses were juicy but the one for the sweet n sour was a little greasy and I would have wished they could have made the chicken for the other two courses a little chrispier. But the sauce was very good. The delivery driver was quick and polite as was the lady that took my order. Overall I'd give them a 4.5. Although I looked at the other reviews prior to ordering and was a little nervous but I don't regret the decision. Many they're just having a good night or u got lucky but I'll defentaly order again. Forgot to take pics but I'll add some and update the review then.

Nothing special really. I picked my self up some spicy chicken, fried rice and an eggroll. Too many veggies not enough chicken. Not bad flavor. I would have loved to get the combo but you HAVE TO get sweet & sour chicken and only 1 other meat. I really don't like sweet & sour chicken and they are so spacific about no subs! I got something else. I probably would o lyrics go back of I had to... I'll stick with Oriental cafe On Greenlee. They are still the best.

I ordered delivery everything was well put together. The food is nice but it just needs more flavor not even soy sauce helped. The Crab ragoons tho Soo Good!

F

Fast delivery! Food was hot. Prices are horrible, but hey you get a bang for your buck large quantities. Just hate I had to give the grease and fatty dishes up. Otherwise pretty good "fast food" Chinese spot to order in from.

So I tried this place for myself even after reading others review. I had the pork lo mein, shrimp fried rice and chicken wings. The lo mein was very good, tasty. The rice was greasy and bland, no taste whatsoever. The chicken wings tasted old and dry not very flavorful either. Overall if your looking for great lo mein you should definitely try them.

The food is great but the service....not so much. Place on order over the phone and when I arrived to pick it up, the cashier went I to the kitchen and stayed back there for 20 mins. I got tired of waiting so I left. Now when I call they don't bother to make my order until I get there, which means they expect me to sit and wait 20 mins every time I want to eat there. What is the point of calling ahead? And the "owner" could care less about the piss poor customer service. He'd rather make things harder for the customers than make improvements with the staff. Not sure if I will be back. As a business owner, I take customer service seriously and this is a no-no.

This place use to be really good. Over the years the quality has gone way down. Walking in, no one was at the register or in the view of the door. After about 5 minutes someone came from the kitchen to take the order. Mediocre food at best. Orange chicken didnt look or taste like it use to.

The food today meaning today's date. The cooks food was good had no issues. Order was on time . Now it may not be the best looking but I wanted food not trying to buy the place. Just that simple .

Ordered via phone, personal was friendly and delivery was quick. Food looked and smelled good but I wasn’t a fan of my Tso chicken. Meat was very fatty. Vegetable lo main was really good according to my daughter.

I read the reviews before eating here and thought that it was going to be good. Well I'm now convinced that anyone who wrote that this place was awesome, was either and employee or a friend of this restaurant. Food was a 5 out of 10. The fried rice was ok it didn't even have any veggies mixed in. The sesame chicken along with the General Tsao chicken was not good at all. The best thing about the food was the wrapped fortune cookie. If this was the best chinese food you've ever had, then you need to get out more. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend this place at all. They need to step it up!!

E
Elizabeth Barker

I ordered from here because the place we usually get our chinese from messed up our food bad last time and were very rude. They got here quick. I am just very disappointed in their food. The beef is literally like a wet sponge. The fried rice is favorless. Even the sweet and sour sauce was weak. The best thing I got was the cream cheese puffs they are delicious.

A
A-aron Orr

We ordered beef and broccoli, fried rice, egg rolls, and mooshu pork, and they didn't give us plum sauce or the pancakes (Asian tortillas) for the mooshu pork, instead they gave us some other sauce. They also forgot our white rice. When we called, the person on the phone didn't even know that mooshu pork came with the 4 pancakes. Very disappointed this evening...

I have been here 3 times. Will not go back. The first time the women were cooking. I ordered and paid for 2 bowls of soup, recieved 2 cups. Had no rice with the meal and received a spring roll instead of egg rolls. On the second visit the men were cooking. Food was delicious and order was right. Third time the women again. Order was wrong and missing food. They seemed to care about their friends and conversations over customers. Had friends behind the counter with them. Very unprofessional. Will NOT return at this facility.

Ordered a few times on grubhub, food is always super hot and fresh. Lots of veggies, fried dumplings are awesome. This last time ordering, my husband's dish tastes like it has a chemical cleaner in it! His mouth is numb, I chewed a piece of his food and I also tasted the cleaner. My mouth is numb, too. Oddly, my soup and lo mein are fine, however not exactly what I ordered.

I orders special fried rice and crab Rangoon for lunch. The fried rice was nothing but grease. There was even a little pool of it in one of the side dish parts of the container. It had no flavor at all and very little meat. The crab Rangoon tasted microwaved. It was burnt, extremely dry and tasted like leftovers. I've ordered from this place a few times but each time it seems to go down hill little by little. I won't be ordering from here again.

Worst $21 I spend. The fried rice didn't even have the veggies. The wings didn't had seasonings. The egg roll fell apart too crispy dough was old. The orange chicken was chewy. It seems that every was old and not enough seasonings. Never again buy in there.

Used to order here a lot years ago. The food tastes totally different now. I'm very disappointed in the drop in quality. The service is still great, I had no issues ordering over the phone nor picking up. The restaurant was closed to dine-in customers when I went in today, but I only ever take it to go anyway. The yakimandu pork appetizer was decent, I enjoyed eating those the most. The sesame chicken had sesame seeds on top, but smelled strongly of chemicals and I couldn't discern a flavor. My wife said it tasted similar to buffalo. The general tso's chicken had the red chiles in it, but I didn't taste any of the spice. The lo mein noodles were not the flat noodles anymore, and instead of being chewy they were mushy and broke easily. The iconic lo mein flavor was missing to me. The chicken, pork, and shrimp in the lo mein was tasty though. The white rice was fine, it seemed cooked right to me. Not sure what happened, but I hope they can return to what they once were, because I remember it being much better.

Got good food here before, but last time the sauce tasted weird and this most recent time I had a roach in the sauce container. Guess that explains the weird taste. Not gonna eat here again.

Don't buy the honey chicken and the fry rice is just sticky rice with soy souce

This place’s quality goes up and down on a monthly basis. I order from wok oon fire out of convenience, but I must accept the unpredictable outcome of the order. Generous tips don’t always result in a generous outcome... ordered sweet and sour pork. I recieved a bunch of small deep fried pieces of chicken...parts. It was explained to me the “small” deep fried objects were “pork”, because the larger “deep fried objects” are chicken. I didn’t realize all these years that pigs are smaller than chickens, and require more batter. Ok... and I’m just wondering why there was dry deep fried stuff food “objects” with no sweet and sour sauce... oh wait. It’s a do it yourself. I pour the sauce on. That’s a new concept for me. If you’ve ever eaten china town NY, DC or anywhere else Chinese in this country this is as Chinese as fast food on its worst day, only much more expensive. I tried to be polite in following up with the place, but I was shut down. Buy a hot dog at the local gas station for better cuisine. Much cheaper, faster, and less debate Keep up the great work “wok on fire” -edit- I gave the managing staff on call the opportunity to defend the poor service. He gave me the typical shady excuses for the food quality, and literally hung up on me when he was getting cornered. My advice... it’s not Chinese or takeout, but go with pho 9 on vet memorial, or pho Saigon on Rancier. Great genuine Vietnamese food. Likewise, there is Korean kitchen, also on vet memorial, and “Seoul to go” on elms. Great Korean food. Unfortunately Chinese cuisine is unavailable in this town “for delivery”. I’ve been told “China Star” is a great sit down Chinese restaurant. But if you like deep fried garbage customer robbery that’s available for delivery and called “chinese”... well, that’s only a phone call away. No offense to the drivers. You guys are doing a great job. Your employers... different story

This place is a sad joke. Simply gross nothing like NEW YORK ewww they dont know the difference between brown GRAVY and brown juice you got one white youngster one black and a Hispanic at the front counter. One oriental made the food and i was truly disappointed. total waste of gas. I ordered shrimp egg foo young with brown gravy they were lost like i was with the damn brown water sauce they claim was gravy . ps they got one star because cant give none.

Just the worst Chinese food you ever eaten they capitalized and abuse their accessibility to soldiers nothing on the menu is small everything is large, even though the portion you getting is actually a small in a large bowl or large cup , why should They care about what you eat if they are getting your money, this is intentionally to get more money from the soldiers because of the access to the base the food is highly substandard loaded with sodium ohh but no MSG -no flavor. I will not recommend you try this Chinese restaurant ever the prices are also beyond ridiculous. The wonton soup has 2 wontons rather than 4 like most Chinese restaurants this place should be close down for soldier of abuse and horrible quality food it’s disgusting That’s some establishments love capitalizing on soldiers monies and giving very little in return. Five dollar delivery fee and you want to tip seriously and the food I’d horrific. Is that tough meat they call beef really beef seriously.Anybody anybody that gives this place more than one stars obviously don’t know what quality food is lIke. Brown water with two wontons and some shallots is not wonton soup. Food loaded with soy sauce is not Chinese food. I’ve wasted wasted $30 for no reason disgusting, Thievery, This place needs closure, shut down go away far away from this base COMMAND please help.

For the second time I ordered a sweet and sour dish, described as having pineapple, green pepper and onions, the correct way to make the dish, instead I got a box of pork McNuggets and some sweet sauce....maybe they need to go on line and learn to make this dish!

Worst customer service ever! Took 1.5 hours to get my food! When I called to inquire where my order was they left me on hold for 10 minutes. Then when she finally picked back up, she said they were short staffed (EXCUSE!) I explained how as a customer if prefer not to hear excuses, she cut me off stuff the girl taking orders was new then hung up on me! Completely unprofessional!

Tayler McGuinness

Never ate here but that would be because the number on the take out menu delivered to my house wouldn't go through and neither would the number that came up through google. I tried calling either number for an hour because I had my heart set on having Chinese food. Needless to say I am also 8 months pregnant, so they completely ruined my night.

L

Awful customer service, disgusting place with roaches crawling. Be careful not to eat here or order anything. Gave me a hard time picking up my food. Then they take it to the back after it's already bagged up and I felt they did something to it. Will not be coming back.

I don't understand how this place is getting good reviews. It is a sad definition of "chinese" food. I ordered a pint of "vegetable low mein" and a thing of "chinese" vegetables. It cost me 20 dollars for just those two things! I have never paid that much for those two things in my life. When I got my food that I was SO looking forward to having, the low mein looked like the noodles were made from fettuccine noodles! WHAT THE HELL. And the brown sauce they added to it made it awful and soggy. And the chinese vegetables in that sauce you guys use? It was like soup. I've never ever had cabbage, cucumber, carrots, and broccoli as my vegetable mix at a chinese restaurant. I don't know who the hell is in charge of deciding how you make your guys' food... but it's not chinese. I'm from a little itty bitty town of like 3000 people... and it's sad out chinese restaurant that struggles to stay open everyday has 100 times better food than you guys are serving. Not happy one bit. I will not be eating here again.

Deedra Diaz Gonzalez

If I could I’d rate this place a zero, I would. The food was freezing upon arrival, messed up our order, the portions were tiny, and the food was DISGUSTING! This is just my opinion but this is the worst Chinese restaurant we’ve ever had.

D
Danielle Jakobeit

I ordered the cashew chicken and added pork, mushrooms, & cabbage. I didn’t have cashews or pork and the steamed rice was mushy. 😭 my favorite parts the cashews man

G

The General Tso's chicken for the most part was overcooked, very...very sweet, and no spice. It tasted burnt. Some pieces were hard and rubbery, and others were strangely very soft. Had to be fat. The breading was soggy and falling apart. The chicken sizes were huge. I had to cut some of it in half because it was too big. I never want food from this place ever again. The description said Gen Tsos chicken and broccoli. I only got 2 pieces.

On Friday, 19 Nov 21, I called to place a delivery order at 4:55 pm. Our order was promptly delivered at 5:26 pm. However, upon opening the bag of food, We immediately saw that the steamed rice was missing and the two orders of Yakimono was dark brown to burnt and hard as a rock. I immediately called at 4:56 pm to called of the error and our dissatisfaction with the cook on the Yakimono. The gentleman who answered the phone told me the delivery driver would return with our steamed rice and replacements for the Yakimono. At 5:28 pm I called requesting the status of our delivery and was told it was in the way. At 5:34 pm I called once again as our delivery still had not arrived. Another call at 6:17 as still no delivery. At 7:07 pm the rice and Yakimono was delivered. Cold. We find this totally unacceptable and do not recommend this establishment nor will we ever order from them again. In addition, the food did not taste the same which we found unpleasant. It all ended up in the trash.

L
Luis Hernandez

Disgusting!!!! I am not sure it is pork???? Where do I start???? I asked the lady for a Lo Mein combo with fried rice. After a short discussion she said they don’t do that. So I asked her for a pork fried rice and a beef Lo Mein. Instead I got the worst pork fried rice plate I have ever tasted. The fry rice is more like rice putting and looks old. The pork is questionable and I had a taste of it and has absolutely no taste and undercooked. I have pictures!!!! The only thing to their credit is the egg which looks fresh. So I would not risk getting sick I decided to throw the meal in the trash where it belongs. I would rather loose the $8.95 (over priced rice) than spend a weekend in the Energency Department throwing up and a belly ache. Buyer beware and go somewhere else until they fix the mess they have in the restaurant. I don’t know what happened to this place? it used to be ok! You need to go back to a good chef and better costumer service. A truly concerned costumer!

Seriously read this review. I've been dining in the Killeen area for years and I've came across some delicious cuisine and some not to good cuisine. But, this place is the most horrifying experience that I've had since I been in Killeen, Texas. I ordered the spicy combination fried rice and was shocked when I opened my plate. I literally could see that it wasn't spicy and I could count the pieces of meat that came with the combination fried rice: 2 strips of pork, 3 shrimps, 7 square pieces of chicken with a whole plate of steamed rice. My first thought was is this a prank so I called and told the young lady who answered the phone is this what I have is considered fried rice. So, I explained to her what my plate consisted of and she said that the fried rice do not come with vegetables in it. So why not call it Meat and Rice, instead of calling it combination fried rice. Evidently you guys don't have an idea of how Chinese Cuisine is made. This place sucks !!! If anyone gave this place two stars they are not telling you the truth (yeah they are lying). This place don't deserve to get this one star. Beware of Wok on Fire. Not all cheap food is good food.

V
Valerie Rhynes

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We pull into the parking lot at 9pm it says on the door call in to order and they'll bring it to the car. One of the workers was outside so we asked for a menu. She brings us a menu ignores us when we say thank you just walks off. We try to call and order she clearly knows we are outside since she just brought us a menu they ignored are calls to order then when I go to the door she waves her arms saying no were closed even though they don't close for another 30 minutes. Terrible services would not recommend this place to anyone. If they were closing early she could of told us that when she handed us the menu instead of being rude and letting us sit out there looking for food to order through the menu she just handed us. We are not from here so we know when we are in Killeen to never eat at this place.

KESANIA POWELL

This place continues to make horrible food even when I give them multiple chances only because they deliver. The meat is continuous undercooked!! Yesterday I order the spicy tofu and it was not even cooked properly looked the same way you take it out of the container. I usually do not leave comments but it’s imperative this is know . Just horrible

SAVE YOUR MONEY! GO SOME WHERE ELSE! Worst experience ever. I called in the order and paid with my credit card, then they show up asking for cash. I told the driver I paid with credit card (which the driver was great and had a great attitude, so no complaints there). Then on top of the food being horrible, they call back arguing with me for over an hour, saying they spoke with a woman that said we would pay cash. After arguing over an hour they finally gave me a cell number to text a picture of the bank account showing the transaction. Then "all of a sudden" they find the receipt. You would think they would apologize, but noooooooooo.......! They still say this "ghost woman" said we would pay cash, but some how they just so as happened to get and run the credit card information! What a joke of a business! Don't go there!

Horrible. DON'T ORDER FROM HERE. WASTE OF MONEY. I've lived in Killeen most of my life. This is the 1st and last time i will ever order from Wok on fire. I just moved into a new apartment so I'm unpacking and decided to give it a try since i got a flyer in the mail. I ordered the combination fried rice and the combination lo mein. To have a variety. The fried rice seriously lacked flavor. I added the, what i presumed to think, duck sauce. It made it edible. But I could only eat about a quarter of it, as they only fill the little sauce cup a quarter full. And I seen on their menu they charge $1.50 for extra sauce. Which is ridiculous since they can't even give a half sauce cup. The lo mein tasted like cheap Ramen sauce was put on it. I was so disgusted. I ate 3 noodles and didn't touch it after that. The egg rolls were ok , but nothing spectacular. The only thing that was good was the packaged fortune cookies. I just wasted $25 dollars. Next time I'll just order pizza.

Decided to try them again after 5 years and they still suck. New ownership has done nothing to make the food any better. Do not waste your time so you are not disappointed and wishing you ordered elsewhere.

For starters I am not a picky eater, with that said... 1. Beef bulgolgi: Terrible. More like GREY, stringy, and mushy beef DROWNED in an awkward tasting brown gravy and vegetable. The dish is supposed to be grilled, with little to no veg, and no gravy. There is a differece between marinating beef and having it swim in gravy to try to hide the fact that it is poorly seasoned. I know this is an American Chinese restaurant but if it's not bulgolgi just say it's a little bit of beef drowned in brown gravy and 80% vegetables. 2. Honey chicken: Sucks. Very BLAND, and chemically tasting fried chicken. When the "honey" sauce is poured over it's still awful. It may be that the cooks are either too LAZY to sauté their fried chicken in a sauce so it can sort of thicken and carmalize like some of their other dishes (orange chicken/ general tzo's) or must not realize how gross it tastes to just plop the sauce over. Also there wasn't enough sauce to cover my sad chicken, and it did not taste like honey. 3. Salt and pepper shrimp: Dissapointing. Dissatisfying. Disrespectful. Bland. Barely a dash of salt and pepper. Since it is fried I think it is unnecessary to offer to pair it with rice, especially since the shrimp were dry and overcooked. Also has that strong chemical flavor like the "honey" chicken. 4. Combination lo mein: Flavor was ok, noodles were cooked fine, BUT the pork and chicken were dry, tough and gritty. Tasted and felt over cooked. Dissapointed that there were only 3 pieces of small shrimp. Come on at least 6. 5. Overall I would not order from here again or recommend this restaurant. The quality of the recipes/ingredients are poorly thought out and executed. It seems like this restaurant has too big of a menu to keep up with, and tries to trick the customer into thinking that since there is so much variety it is better than other american chinese restaurants. It's not, so save your coins. 6. Delivery was fast, food was the correct order, and the delivery guy was polite.

No wonton in the wonton soup!!! Sesame chicken taste like a tangy sauce was added. Egg roll was gross. Rice is plain and they have the nerve to charge an extra dollar if you want that plain fried rice. And the cook is Spanish but don't speak English!!! Come on now. Yall have to do way better!!!

It was the worst asian food i have ever eaten. One if our plate combos wasnt with the order. The beef broccoli was bland no taste and the beef tasted freezer burnt. The fried rice was in a glob looked like oatmeal with no flavor! No refunds....now i know why! I do not recommend Wok on Fire! Waste of $50! Boo!!!

My girlfriend accidentally made a pickup order. So right after she hung up she called back to make it a delivery the lady that picked up said the food was already ready and hung up in her face.. #1 what restaurants besides fastfood makes shrimp fried rice, 4eggrolls and sweet and sour chicken in less than 1minute. #2 if that chick is a family member or owner she needs to either give the business up or quit. Horrible customer service. You don't hang up on customers... she's gonna mess with the wrong one talking to people like that.

Ordered their lemon chicken (the sent me fried chicken strips with sweet n sour sauce), and after biting into two pieces I realized the chicken wasn't cooked or old (it was tough like pork) I immediately called to report this and at first the guy I spoke with said they could replace the order. I asked for Orange chicken (which I've had before) but was told I would have to pay the difference. I thought this was crazy and refused to. I asked for them to come pick up the order and refund my money. I was told by a very argumentative female "manager" that they didn't refund (What!) and only did exchanges for the same price. I thought this was unprofessional and horrible customer service. Thank Goodness for my credit company policy ! I'll post pictures of this nasty food.

Just ordered 50 dollars worth of food from them and the combination rice had hair in it. To be fair I called and asked for a refund for that item. I was told they'd give me a future credit when ordering. That's not what I wanted. I was then told there's no hair in my food because they check for that. Why would one check for hair in food? Manager was very dismissive and short. Everyone has a bad day, just own it and move forward.

I ordered 4 eggrolls. when I went to pay he would not let me pay for them, which I thought was strange. But, I was like cool. I got home took them out of the bag they were ice cold like just out of the freezer cold. I heated them up and I was very disappointed.

This restaurant does not even deserve one star. Ordered delivery since we got a flyer in the mail after we moved it. On the back of the flyer it shows the lunch specials so we ordered a lunch special and were charged a full price anyway. Along with a couple other orders. Arrived in a timely manner, although the order that was messed up did not arrive. Still waiting on that. The egg drop soup was bland and had to season myself. The fried rice is sticky and bland as well. Not that hard to make fried rice, quite pathetic. Sorry, but I won't be ordering from here again and you shouldn't either. Rude customer service, not helpful at all. Don't waste your time.

Want to risk a ruined date night? Order here. I gave them another chance after their delivery guy helped himself to an additional eight dollars from my credit card, when I had tipped in cash and left the receipt blank. Management said I couldn't prove it, so I let it go, though I didn't order from them for a year. I wont be going back after tonight, not for subpar convenience food. Price does not reflect quality, and even at half price, wouldn't be worth the nightmare of their pathetic excuse for customer service, which consists of, in so many words, "you're wrong." Expect something in your order to be missing or wrong, expect to be overcharged, and expect to be treated like you should be ashamed of yourself for expecting a decent experience. I would know, because I gave chances out like candy to them until I'm just done. Without letting the experience color my opinion of the food, let me describe it objectively. The steamed rice is soggy and overcooked, the fried rice is greasy, the dumplings, usually okay, are inedible with a sharp, rancid flavor. The firecracker shrimp and sesame chicken are okay, with good red sauce, the 2 egg rolls are tiny; crispy outside and mushy inside. So 2 plates, 2 spring roll sized egg rolls, and bad dumplings for almost $40.00, and a shamelessly rude cashier who got my order wrong gave absolutely no _____s. At least she told me to have a good night after ruining it.

Worst food ever. Ordered shrimp in lobster sauce. Got a can of peas, can of water chestnuts, half a can of carrots. Little to no sauce and half a dozen shrimp. I am not a vegetarian!!!! Beef and broccoli sauce was completely wrong, may have had ketchup in it, not sure.

We've ate here quite a few times and have always liked their food. However once covid hit, we feel like they started falling off for some reason. Tonight was just the last straw. I got pork fried rice and upon getting home and opening my box, I discovered that the rice didn't have a whole lot of color or flavor and that my pork looks like boiled pieces of pork. Though they are tender pieces they are completely bland. Not even some pepper or salt. The whole meal is extremely bland and has to be doctored up. I'm really disappointed.

Don’t waste your money someone who’s been cooking for a long time can taste when food is old and reheated. The hot n sour soup tastes like a cleaning product. The food was good years ago I don’t know what happened. I will never eat from this place again

Freaking disgusting and not even real Chinese food. I order chicken fried rice and honey chicken. First off the "honey chicken" was freaking fried chicken nuggets with honey to dip it in. I didn't ask for chicken nuggets. The fried rice had chicken in that tasted and had the texture of precooked chicken. The rice had an okay taste but all together it was disgusting. I only ordered from here because my usual was backed up. I will never order from here again. I wish I could get my 24.86 back.

Absolutely the worst! Super creepy vibe, dirty, and smelled bad. Giant plastic hanging everywhere. When we walked in, no one was there, had to yell for an employee. Some strange dude came out with news papers. Food wasn't terrible but wasn't really worth money either. Will never go back and highly recommend everyone else stay away.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. They told me 30-45 minutes for delivery, it did not show up until ANOTHER 30 minutes had passed. It took so long that the condensation completely warped the styrophom. The combination platter is not worth you money (actually this place isn't)!! I paid the extra $1 for shrimp, and got only 3 pieces!? Everything that was supposed to be crunchy (egg roll, crab rangoon, my 3 pieces of shrimp), were all soggy and disgusting. And I'm still hungry because it is basically inedible. Thanks for ripping me off!! *BTW, I give it no stars but it wouldn't least me post without giving at least one. They don't even deserve that.

Awful food and not fresh! We should have known when the food came to us so quickly. There is usually a 15 min timeframe at these restaurants to get chicken because they have to cook it up fresh, but not here... I won't return!!! We have the dinner combo with spicy beef and the rice was not fried rice. It was just brown. The other dish was chicken lo mein. Not good!

B
Barbara Sullivan

I ordered chicken and noodles and it was so hot that it put blisters in my mouth and on my lips where it touched. I call them and they said that it didn’t have peppers oils on it. I have eat there before and never had this problem. So I was out the money for the food and had to find something else to eat. They acted like it was my fault. I will not order from them again.

This place is a joke. I ordered shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon. The shrimp was pink, not cleaned, and cold. The Crab Rangoon was so hard it almost broke my tooth, not to mention I asked for duck sauce and they gave me sweet and sour sauce. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Disgusting.... definitely gives ghost kitchen. You know those hole in the wall places where your like ...I know the food is good!? Well this is not it. The chicken was sketchy. Definitely made like yesterday or something. The steamed rice was steamed to DEATH. tasted like boiled water and funk. The inside makes you ask why? Then....they didn't even pack my food properly and forgot my egg rolls. Don't do it just reconsider. I just gave it one star so I could write this review. -5 stars

when I ordered they were nice, then the driver called us to confirm our address they sent it to the wrong house. When it got here half my food was in the bottom of the bag, I called them back the kept trying to get me to order again, and as I was trying to explain the mishap the lady on the phone said "don't get that attitude with me". On top of which the food sucks way too greasy and leaves a bad after taste. Wasted almost $40 and my girl is still going to bed hungry. Recommend not eating here. The driver and manager were very respectful though.

Formerly my favorite chineese restaurant. Can remember eating in the dining room frequently years ago. These days the food is disappointing at best. I guess they decided they could make the same amount of money doing take out only. They still have covid era plastic sheeting "protecting" the cashier.

Chrissy Marie

The lady there was very friendly and helpful, but other than that. The food was horrible. The low mein has no flavor but the meat tasted old and it was just inedible. Got fried donuts and they tasted like dirty old grease and were over cooked and filled with grease. I didn't bother trying the egg rolls I got.... That night I threw up and was sick all the next day. That was all I had so I'm pretty sure they have me food poisoning. Awful, will never eat anything from them again.

FEB 02 2025 DO NOT PAY CASH WHEN ORDERING DELIVERY!!!!! I was overcharged for my food and when the food arrived we had items missing. This will be my last time paying in cash bc I didn't have a way to return the food to get a refund! The young lady on the phone claimed she was overwhelmed with orders ......that may be true but she is not a good listener either. I see I have to cross Wok on Fire off of our food delivery list! The service has really declined at this location. It breaks my heart but business is business!

Hows this place even open. White rice is box rice and their sauce for sesame chicken is ketchup. Straight up ketchup. The place looks like something from a horror movie 🤣 and you can't even eat inside, also check out who the cooks are. Never again.

My family ordered take out. This is probably the worst "Chinese" food I've ever had. Nothing in this order tasted like any version of Chinese food I've ever had. (Traditional or Americanized) The sesame chicken tastes like tomato and looks like they just threw some sesame seeds on top. None of the meals that should be spicy had any flavor. I have no idea who's making this but they need to rethink the menu because it's awful.

I would give it less stars if I could. I made a take out order on a weekday and it took them an hour to make my food and when I finally got to eat my Mongolian Beef it was so SWEET not savory at all. It was disgusting and I couldn't even finish my food. I would NOT recommend.

There was a bug (baby roach) in my broccoli beef and the beef lo mien wasn’t very good either. Very disappointed. I do not recommend at all. Tried calling twice but no answer. Definitely going to report to the health department to get it shut down because with these numerous complaints regarding bugs I’m sure they’ll close it down. As well as making a report to the better business bureau.

My husband and I just ordered from here. Going from east coast Chinese take out, to California Chinese take out, I never thought I’d find a place worse than California ( no offense, just very different takes on Chinese take out). We legit got the same thing even though I got Sesame chicken and he got General Tso’s chicken . They look the same , taste the same. Last time I checked General tso’s had some spicy kick to it not sweet. Just listen to the bad reviews , they aren’t exaggerating. Steer clear .

My first time ordering here and the food made me sick. Sweet and sour sauce was very thin and tasted like fish, the rice was overcooked with no taste. Chicken was fried too hard. I won’t be eating from here ever again. $16 in the trash.

Just left there went to eat my rice and there's a bug in it. Photo attached. I did request a refund from door dash. Edit I called the restaurant and they didn't even apologize or seem sympathetic to the bug being in the food.

My partner and I order food from them through door dash. Our door dash person was awesome. The food container was broken in the bag. We order three things that were sweet and sour and had zero sauce. We called them and they said we will give you sauce for free instead of charging you. I stated that how do we get charged for sauce the the sauce should’ve came with it. My partner went to pick up the sauce because no one offered to have it brought to us. When she gets there a woman is laying down on chairs and it is a hotel. It look so ghetto. The food wasn’t that good and the eggs rolls taste like mush. Won’t be returning.

*BEWARE the Chinese restaurant that doesn't smell like Chinese food. Creepy Vibe. The food was inedible. It takes a lot to mess up spring rolls and fried rice but they managed to do so with gusto. The chicken for the chicken fried rice and the spicy chicken was essentially the same cooked yesterday morning fatty soggy mush of breaded DARK meat. I did not understand the decent ratings until I read that ownership changed recently. I ate one roll and the rest of the meal -3 entrees- had to be tossed. I would not recommend this place. Ever.

I ordered a beef and broccoli and I should have known by the way the employees were dressed when they're walking in there and also by the bad reviews there was online I should have known by that too so by the woman that came and deliver my food to the car this who was horrible I can't believe they would serve these kind of food to anyone I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't eat it themselves I called to make a complaint I was transferred to another person who is very rude an argument o saying that we all have different taste buds so it just tastes different to me that is not reasonable or professional whatsoever I will never go to this place again nor would I recommend it to anyone to eat here so please if you think about going to this restaurant please do not go to it this food was bitter taste spoiled the meat was just awful I wish I can get my money back but I know they're not going to do that by the way they were acting on the phone that is so unprofessional of them please I asked do not eat at this restaurant I will also be posted up on Facebook anywhere else that they will listen this is not a proper restaurant
