20230904 Drive Thru 😱😱😱 We don't have Drive Thru in VA!!! So thankful that I don't have to get out of the car. The young lady at the drive thru window was very nice. I don't remember VA Panera has warmed bowls... chicken and broccoli, Mediterranean chicken, which I ordered. The bowl was cold by the time I got to eat it. One of my dogs likes the feta cheese and chicken.

If you have read my past reviews, customer service is everything to me. Listen to this! Also, check out the pictures 🤗 So I was shopping in Marion on a 100-degree-plus day! Thankfully I’m a part of Panera’s unlimited sip club, which I love so much! I needed a cold drink and decided to stop by the drive-thru, and the amazing woman that answered my thirsty call was very polite and helpful! I came for a drink and got their kitchen sink cookie thanks to her recommendation! Excellent, thank goodness I did not have lunch yet! I would recommend the cookie 💯! I also had their iced green tea. My morning go, too, is their iced dark roast coffee black with sugar, which is also a great choice. What an awesome experience!

Traveling home from vacation and needed a bite to eat that was healthy after indulging during our trip. We stopped in at Panera Bread in Marion, IL for the new Thai chicken soup and Citrus Asian crunch salad. Initially the salad was not to my liking because it had a lot of dressing for my taste. I asked for a remake and was greeted with warm hospitality and great service. They remade my salad with the dressing and teriyaki on the side. It was delicious and all the fresh flavors popped w/ less dressing to hide them. The soup was delicious! I’m a wimp when it comes to spice and this had a little heat, but so delicious ! I was also pleasantly surprised by the bathroom being nicely stocked for the ladies. The employee that took our order was very friendly and helpful in describing the food and possible allergens. Impressed with the staff, service and food!!

Was in Marion Illinois for a three-day conference, ate at Panera twice, once lunch, once supper. For lunch I had the Baja warm bowl, with chicken. If you like Frufru, I think you'll enjoy it, I probably won't order it again, it was okay. I had a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup for supper, un-like Panera in Evansville, Indiana, Marion filled up the bowl, Evansville you get about a half a bowl. Marion was good, friendly, and clean, good place to eat.

As a frequent visitor to PB where freshness has in most cases, like 95%, always been a key signature, I was left with a diminished desire to return to this location. My salad just didn't make par as some of the greens had roughage nd the tomatoes had not ripened, yet they were tossed in as edible. Moreover, the service nd engagement did not come across favorable. And while not being accustomed to diversity can be a challenge, it really should present itself as an opportunity for a venue such as this to reward new customers unseen before, rather than leave the patron feeling like an anomaly. May the room for improvement for others be met with the grace 2do so.

Love Cheddar Broccoli soup here! Service was excellent. Music was great. Bathrooms had no paper towels. But overall great trip.

Pretty busy Panera for a small area, food was quickly ready, however my mom's salad was missing grilled chicken and dressing. But otherwise it was all hot, tasty, and the place was clean. The cashier girl was so sweet and bubbly too, very talkative!

We stopped here for a quick lunch while driving through the interstate. Neat and clean place. We ordered the egg and cheese soufflé, which was good. But the bagel was not that good. It was hard and dry.

My recent soup bread bowl order taught me that it consists of mostly bread. A LOT of bread and maybe 8 oz of soup. Maybe 8 oz is what I should have expected, but that's the last time I order a bread bowl. Panera has delicious bread, for sure, but I felt all I had eaten was bread after finishing. Employee friendliness was average. Not overly friendly. The atmosphere always seems nice. It's clean and comfortably warm. I loved the wall fireplace that was not only attractive but gave off heat too. I truly disliked most of the Christmas music that was playing. It wasn't classical Christmas, but a hodge podge of annoying selections. I was truly disappointed and it will take some time before I forget and go back again. If I surprise myself and return sooner, it won't be for the soup served in a bread bowl.

Came through the drive through, asked for a diet coke, they gave a diet Pepsi, didn't bother to let me know they dont have coke products. Got home and unpacked the food and the gave me the wrong soup order as well. I have great service at the one in Carbondale, never any issues so I will make sure i take my business there instead in the future.

5 stars for consistency unfortunately it’s for the wrong reasons. Long waits to be acknowledged by the customer service representatives, Empty self serve coffee pots, inconsistencies between the app and real life ( app quotes a pick up time for rapid pick up, later app indicates the order was received and put together, arrive and it’s ready or even started.) App doesn’t allow customers chose “bread slices” for bagels.

Ordered the new asiago bagel sandwich through doordash. Panera substituted 2 pieces of sliced bread for a bagel. Dasher said they had no bagels. Should have at least been given a bread option.

I previously rated this location 5 stars but due to recent experiences, have had to revise it. Last week we ordered food for counter pickup and when I get there, the food was on the shelf but not the cup for the drink. I stood at the service counter trying to get a cup for 8 minutes while the manager ignored me and other customers while she talked to a female who I assume was an employee who had come in to discuss her inability to work with her injured hand. Tonight we ordered a bowl of soup and a "pick two" where we selected a cup of soup and a sandwich. The bowl of soup they gave us contained less soup than the cup. The cup of soup weighed 244 grams and the bowl of soup weighed 245 grams in the larger and heavier bowl container. It's to the point where I'm thinking about just not ever returning.
