Subway can be hit or miss, but this one has been great and has not disappointed us a single time. The employees are friendly and know how to do their jobs. The sandwiches are always fresh and made correctly. They also do a great job keeping the restaurant and bathrooms clean.
I always do the mobile order from this subway. They always deliver neat and clean sandwiches. Everything in proper amount and not slapy.
With so many sub options out there I hadn't eaten at Subway in some time. I had the cheesy beef sandwich and it was outstanding. Store has refreshed look and staff was very friendly
One person working behind the counter, nailed our entire pick up order and even gave us an extra cookie 🎉
So This is the one of the most cleaned subway I have been to and the sandwiches are best, employees are well behaved and they do maintain proper hygiene and sitting area is quite big so someone can through a small get together and also they do catering. They delivered my catering order with the box meal and that was best.

My grandkids love coming here because they get their wishy-washy custom orders, and the staff is always smiling and accommodating. Food looks fresh too. Nice change from many Subways these days. Affton Grasso Plaza location - Like most everyone else, poor experience here. Got takeout for lunch for several people. Big bag so didn't check order but should have. It was wrong. Really miss the Ronnie's location, but they couldn't get staffing. However, most Subways these days are nothing like they used to be. It's a hit or miss. Lack of quality staff and poor service. : (

Very clean place. The all American wrap is good, chix chz dipper is delicious. Music is at a good volume. The wrap was a bit expensive. 4 stars

This location also seemed to have changed staff a bit within the last year. The new employees aren't enough to do this place justice, especially since it's still a bit understaffed. This is usually our go-to location for Subway since it's conveniently nearby, but because of how busy the location gets, they will sometimes be short of change, or short of produce. Some of the newer employees at this location do well and do their best, and as long as you're patient then it's an okay location. There was one time my mom went there last weekend, the line was all the way to the door and a bit on the outside of the shop and everyone there was fine with the wait and felt sorry that there was ONE EMPLOYEE working there at the time, and he had to apologize that there was supposed to be another employee coming in at the time, and was not present. He did a good job holding up the fort, and I hope they can manage the employment issues and get this place the justice it deserves. There are a lot of people that come to this location for what I can tell.
The server was a little ditties, meaning she was really not listening to what other veggies we wanted on our sandwiches. I think the food they serve should be consistent not one day one way and another not so much. Wouldn't go back to this particular Subway
Not use to leaving not so happy reviews, and not so sure they deserve the 3 stars even. It wasn't that is was a horrible experience, but more that it was a confusing one leaving me with sub par food and wondering what just even happened. I take time once a month to get out of the city area and go walk the woods with my pup, so I went in for a BLT wrap, and a side of grilled chicken for my pup, as I do on hike days. I start my order, tell him of the wrap type and sandwich style, he heats 2 slices of bacon, I ask if I can have more than 2 he tells me it will be an upcharge. Never have I had a BLT wrap with only two slices, but I tell him that's fine, I wasn't wanting to argue. He starts displaying aggravation, but heats 2 more slices. I don't even get asked if I wanted cheese at that point, so I guess I didn't. I tell him the other items, tomatoes (2 slices), baby spinach (four individual leaves laid flat across the wrap) banana peppers (three of them), black olives (I think 5 maybe 6 of those tiny things). I wanted to ask for more, or where the rest of my wrap was but he just started wrapping it, I hardly had the chance to ask for a sauce. He asks if there was anything else, and I ask for the side of grilled chicken. This is where it becomes confusing, the girl at the register was starting to take over my order as I was now at her end of the counter and started answering, "sure what size portion" The guy steps over closer and gets rude at the both of us, "we don't do that, I don't have cups for such things" (I go different places each month so I end up at a different subway every month) I couldn't help it, my response turned into "So, you're the only subway that has no way to over change me for a few stripes on chicken on the side? Most places just use a soup bowl, water cup or a subwrap." "We put our soups up at 5." -guy "I'll get one out" -girl "Fine, do what you want" -guy She gets it and asks if I want it heated, I did, but he tells her "no, just give it to her so she can leave" the young lady rings me up, with him breathing down her neck, she trys to ask me what I ordered, he answers for me, "a BLT wrap with extra double bacon ,. And that's a double portion of chicken" I got 4 slices total, not extra and double, but that's what I was charged for. My wrap was so empty I unwrapped it and re rolled it using less than half of the wrap so I wasn't eating all bread/wrap. Maybe he was having a bad day, idk, but that is the most I have ever paid at a subway for that same exact order I get every month, and turned out to be disappointing at best.

Awful portion sizes here. I paid for double meat on both of my subs and definitely got a single portion. Don’t recommend this location.

Restaurant was not cleaned or prepared prior to open . Dirty tables . Tea not out . Chairs look dirty .... Restaurant experience starts with it's gotta be clean , Owner had no help .. he was a little pushy .

ZERO stars. Nothing redeeming whatsoever. Meatball marinara melt. Looks like it was stepped on, kicked into the paper bag, then run over. I had to tear the paper bag open, as there was meatballs, cheese, bread, and sauce EVERYWHERE. Ordered for 1:35 pick up. Was ready, sitting in the bag on the counter, when I got there, but I had to wait 15 mins while another customer was dealt with. Making a designated spot for customers to grab their pickup orders, works GREAT at Panera. Pass on this location, if you want to skip the many headaches. This is at least the 6th time in less than a year, that this location specifically, has ruined my food. Unfortunately, it’s right next to where I work.

No greeting was offered when I walked in on this weekday at 12:30pm. Few people there during this lunch hour. Which should have been a red flag before I let this drama unfold. Nor was there a line. Most Subways are crawling with hungry people around the lunch hour. So, I placed my order, and they made my sandwich. At the cash register, I politely requested 'just a small cup to have some tap water' with my meal. Because I'm not one to consume or let alone PAY$ for sugar water which is essentially what all those high-calorie, unhealthy fountain drinks are. Sure they offer the proprietor a nice bump in gross sales and a handsome increase to their bottom line. But not what I want with my turkey and whole grain bread sandwich. So, I was shocked when the employee said she would have to charge me $1.99 for a CUP. Are you serious? Thinking this policy is so they'll get their beverage revenue one way or the other...hmmmm... May I please speak with the owner? She pointed him out, he was standing right next to her and witnessed this all go down. I asked him if that was his final answer. He nodded and whimpered in agreement without even attempting to defend this ridiculous anti-customer policy which ultimately affected his bottom line THAT DAY. Nope. He'll be happy to charge anyone who graces his doorstep $1.99 for a cup but couldn't have a care that I was getting ready to leave letting them keep the sandwich they just built to order. So, I told them I would not pay for their cup or the sandwich they just prepared. LOL! Who's the fool? I hope they like jalopenos on the turkey sandwich HE ate (literally and/or figuratively). This guy has NO BUSINESS owning a customer-facing, otherwise great franchise. Too bad, so sad. I'm over it. I drove less than two miles to a GREAT Subway on Watson Rd which had the friendliest staff and to which I will absolutely return. Two delicious chocolate chip cookies I so enjoyed to top off my lunch with TAP WATER ...they had no qualms with providing me with a cup. Shame on you Mister dumb Affton Plaza Subway owner.....hello?!? May I suggest you reconsider your idiotic policy and try instead CUSTOMER SERVICE 101!!? Zero stars. Two days in a row, messed up orders. Placed and paid for a $34 order via the app, 2/24/22. Arrived at 6 to pick up; store was dark, closed. Called 2/25 and was told that the store was not open at all, on the 24th, due to weather. Apparently there were several online orders that had to be reversed. As of this evening, the charge is still processing on my account. 🤷🏻♀️ Today, my son placed an order for himself, to pick up at 7, when he got off work at Schnucks. He gets home; has someone else's sandwich, in a bag, with HIS correct receipt. We drove back up there, he said "I got the wrong order", and the girl at the counter said "oh!", looked around behind her, and picks up another bag sitting there, with his order in it. So his hot meatball sub was sitting in a bag on the counter for 30 mins, by the time he got it. No apologies for having to drive back; no "hey, here's a cookie"; no "hey thanks for bringing the order back"; nothing! 😡

After young lady overcharged me for a extra sandwich(error on her behalf), I thought a instant refund would be in order. Instead she wanted to give me a manager number and take mines and for me to wait a whole another day for a refund, if by then. So I didn't want ANOTHER inconvenience especially if I had to drive back there (+20miles away) ...so I suggested to take another sandwhich(apparently and unfortunately I paid for) that I didnt want AND the young lady didn't even offer an apology for the inconvenience nor a courtesy drink, cookie or something! Woow ...bad Customer service! All the way around😔
Don’t try to use a coupon at this store. Even though they may accept it they’re going to be skimpy on the meat and cheese. The worker who was making my sandwich told me they were instructed to do this by the owner. He said it was anywhere 50%-60% of what is the usual amount. I’ll never return to that store again.
The food is horrible to say the least. Tomatoes had mold all over them, red onions weren’t red but dark burgundy, the rep said it’s because they are spicy onions which I doubt. I will never eat there again. Customer service was good though.
