La Abuela Carmen La Alberca Reviews
Good Real Food, i recommend it 👍🏼
Very clean, friendly staff and great variety of food. Everything was great.
The servings are very large and delicious. Their cookies are also good.
This place is a 5 star in everything.. i just love my Colombian food. Variety of dishes desserts and music! Atención es 1A👍
So authentic!!! This is a must try on the North Shore. Keep an eye out for their deals on the app "Too Good to Go". They sell their stuff that's a few days old for over 50% off, and the stuff is still great quality. I brought the box to family friends for a breakfast get-together, and everyone loved it- even the kids!
This bakery is a hidden gem really. Great Italian cookies and pastries made fresh by an authentic chef. The Columbian pastries and food are just as tasty, also authentic. It was very clean when I’ve been there, no flies mentioned by another reviewer. The owner, John was very helpful and friendly. I haven’t tried the lunches and dinners made to order yet, but I will! Bakery is awesome!! Coffee is definitely under rated!
Service was top notch and the cookies were amazing. I highly recommend. Thank you so much!!! Also, all of the holiday decorations and the inside the establishment looked fantastic. I will be back. Thanks again!
Honest honest review, I loved the place when they first opened same pizza as previous owner but now everything has gone downhill, empanadas are not as good as before and pizza has gone down in quality , ok please if you are the owner go back to high quality ingredients
I’m just gonna review the burger joint which is attached to this location. “La finca burger” I order the chicken sandwich “hawaiana” it was decent but for $18 is major rip off. It wasn’t even an organic product!!! It’s just mind blowing charging such higher prices for food that’s not quality!!!
I went only for patries.. and they were very dry , only one the strawberry cheese slice was better, not great. The taste was really not good.. I wish it was better. Because it used to be Esposito's bakery and that was good. They need to not serve dry cake, not good! Sorry....do better
For a bakery seems all items are a few days old and taste stale. Not going back
Got a slice of cake on Sunday to take home. Tasted like over 5 days old that I didn’t even finish one bite.
When the location first opened their food and pastries were excellent and they were very nice. Now I can't get anyone on the phone because as soon as I start speaking English they say they don't speak English and hang up on me, I've tried to call several times. It seems other reviews are also reporting bad customer service so it seems to be a trend for this location.
I don’t usually do reviews like this, but the service was terrible! it was my first time coming in here I had seen their food on Instagram and wanted to try it out, as soon as I walked in my order was taken but my food took over an hour to be made, what seemed to me like the owner or manager kept making food for his friends who walked in after and we were still waiting. Even as he was packing our food he took the time to talk to his good instead of giving us our food. I don’t recommend this place at all they need better customer service and the food was average not worth the price.
First time trying this place after seeing it on social media being promoted. At first glance I thought we were going to be attended real quick because the cook stepped in and took our order. One hour later…. Half our food was sitting out getting cold while the rest was yet to be cooked. The other half was delayed because someone else (who I assume was the owner or manager) went into the kitchen to help but instead of finishing our food started cooking the food for one of their friends who came in 20 mins after us. Other customers were coming in, ordering and left before us too. The cashier almost charged us again even after already paying for the food. Terrible customer service and the food ended up cold and soggy. I won’t be coming back and don’t recommend this place. Lastly, they should really look into getting gloves because the cooks were handling all the food without any.
I bought a loaf of bread yesterday… for $4.50 which should have been made into breadcrumbs at best! Plus the 50 cent tip~ You should be embarrassed for selling it! It had to be a WEEK OLD!!! Ridiculous! It was so hard! I brought it to a friend’s house… they asked where we got it~well when I said… absolutely~NO ONE will be going there ANYMORE! the prices nowadays just WOWWWWWWWW 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I’ve been a resident of Revere my WHOLE life… EVERY chance I get I will tell someone NOT to go here… and they will tell someone n so on… I only went because of the convenience… like I said NEVER again! Manne’s IT IS ALWAYS! ALWAYS fresh from Manne’s 100%! If I could give this place 0 stars I would… the bread was that HARD~HORRIBLE! Embarrassing that they would even sell it!
