Foods amazing , its home style Mexican food that feels nice and light. Love the nopales with egg and the Orange juice is fresh and that's the best way to start the day
Great Breakfest Spot! They close at 2pm so go early! Meat Lovers Omelette is Bomb!
Great breakfast spot, a truly hidden gem food was on point, great customer service. Will definitely be back
The food is great and the owner and staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is outstanding.
Love this place best pancakes ever and amazing hamburger steak with grilled onions and mushrooms...and by far the friendliest staff I've encountered at a restaurant
Great place to eat! Quick, easy, and delicious! Service is great! Really friendly and helpful.
Great food and excellent service come here every weekend never left unsatisfied
Down to earth, homestyle and authentic Mexican diner cooking. Absolutely a great place to have breakfast, awesome portions, with a great Mexican flair on the traditional Diner!
I love the Service here I will come from 30min away just to eat they’re amazing food they make you feel at home 😊
I love this little place it’s clean and family owned I love having breakfast here
They give you a generous helping of food, that's for sure! Good stuff. Lovely service.
My husband & I look forward to the cozy atmosphere of this diner plus good food & service!
I have been going to this restaurant for years. The food is cooked to order and the ladies are lovely and gracious.
They are now open for dine in! Google...fix it on their page! Great food and great service. Always one of our go-to places!
Great food and friendly staff. Love their pancakes breakfast.
Great food and service. Support local eatery family owned. Lots of food, but you can split an entree.
Good food, plenty of it. The pancakes are huge. The service is excellent.
Great atmosphere fantastic food awsome staff very glad we found this place
Very good service. Delicious food. For my very first time!!!
My aunt, Donna, and I love "the girls" as she calls the restaurant. She's been a patron for many years.
Consistently good food, very personal service. It's like visiting family every time!
Great small local place for breakfast. Seating is fast and food arrives fast once order is placed. Highly recommend
Thank you for your amazing service and delicious food. Thank you for being a wonderful establishment with a truly family loving feeling. Thank you for the warm hugs.
My favorite breakfast place. Plenty of food at a good price. The service is the best around.
Had a little banquet post funeral. Really bent over backwards to accommodate us. Plus the food is always great!
Delicious fresh food just like home..and the service is amazing love the waitress's best breakfast spot in town!
Great food great service nice worker's great price's awesome place to eat.
Always the best service even when they are really busy. They give their all. The food is always cooked the way I like
I got the egg and bacon quesadilla with their freshly squeezed orange juice and they were both amazing! Definitely coming back for some of that OJ. The quesadilla was 10$ and worth it. It could feed 2 people, the portions were huge
Great service! It was nice to see the waitresses interact with the regulars. Food was FANTASTIC. Can't wait to go back
Really good food. Great friendly service. Our go to place!
I’ve been to La Habra Height’s Cafe many times, my grandpa bill actually showed me this restaurant and it has to be one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a will. The food is amazing and everything there is amazing, I would 100% suggest you go there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! :D
We loved the home cooked breakfast. It totally worth the wait on the food. Thank you so much for serving us.
I’ve been eating here for 10 years and I can’t say enough about the food and service. The food never disappoints and the service is outstanding.
The ladies that run this restaurant are so nice and the food is delicious. They make their own salsa every week and you can also get a container of it to go. So good!
The food was freshly made and delicious. It has a home town feel, very clean, and welcoming. I had the nopales breakfast plate (traditional Mexican food) and my companion had the ham & cheese omelet. They serve breakfast and lunch. It was our first time there and we will definitely return.
My new favorite place to eat. Best breakfast I've ever had. Friendly staff and the food tastes amazing. Some creative dishes and good prices. they're not open all day but when they are it's the place to be.
First tine trying this spot. Walked in restaurant, you get the old mom and pop restaurant feeling. Waitress greeted us with a good morning. Liked that. Served us coffee and menu immediately. So many good food options on menu. Tried the nopales and huevos rancheros with potatoes and beans. Potatoes had the onion and green pepper. Loved that. Food overall had a great taste, lacked nothing. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the great food and great hospitality
My family and I come here often, the owner is so sweet and she ALWAYS waits on us. It had become a very personal relationship, which makes coming here so much more special. The food is great and the crowd is as well.
Great Breakfast. Attentive service. Good sized portions.
Just in the area and my husband and I were looking for a place to have a late breakfast. OMG thank you to The Pancake House for having a hour and half wait! We ended up at La Habra Heights Cafe 🤗 Food was Delish, and the serves was amazing! You can tell everyone working here care about there job, quality of serves and most of all their customers. Keep it up! We will definitely be back!
The food is great and it always hits the spot. The coffee is really good as well as the fresh squeezed orange juice. You can't go wrong with the omelets with country potatoes.
My husband and I came here for the first time on Valentine’s Day and we’re back today because service was amazing! The pancakes are fluffy & delicious, the omelettes are tasty, and the coffee is super good! We’re going to make this place our new breakfast spot! I hope to try some things off their lunch menu also! FYI- I’m a vegetarian and there’s choices & substitutions on the menu that work for me. Today I had the La Habra omelette which has Swiss cheese, spinach, and mushrooms. It also comes with hashbrowns & toast. I always get a side of salsa to eat with my eggs & hashbrowns for the extra spice! The thing that makes this place extra great is the service! Our waitress is super nice & friendly! We’ll keep coming back!
Great neighborhood family restaurant with plenty of breakfast and lunch items on the menu. The food is very good from a traditional bacon and egg breakfast to ones with a Mexican flair. The place will make you feel like your a part of thier friends and family.
This is my favorite place and I have been coming here for years. Grace and Soccoro are the best. Their food is always delicious, and the best customer service!!
We ❤️this place food is good service is always so friendly & accommodating..Our new neighborhood go too place😊👍
Everything is great here, the menu is expansive and I have not had a single bad meal here. Its the kind of small hidden gem that is a local's spot. Make the trek early- they do not stay open late!
Good food. Friendly service and staff, especially Graciela is super sweet. They close early, like 2 pm I think. So this place is ideal for breakfast and lunch. Very casual and comfortable atmosphere.
The food here is outstanding. Everything is homemade and delicious. Extensive menu!
Went for breakfast, food was delicious got the heights french toast combo service was amazing definitely going back
They have a breakfast and lunch menu with a large selection fast service. Gracy is usually who serves me
Service is great , good food and plenty of sesting no wait.
I have been coming here with a group or alone for over three years. The service is always impeccable and the breakfast is always delectable. Gracie keeps the atmosphere delightful and the black coffee never stops flowing.
The food was seasoned so well and the waitress was so nice. They greeted us with a smile when we 1st came in customer service was excellent, if you're looking for a good mom and pops place with home cook food this is definitely the spot.
Delicious food all the time. The staff was so accommodating to our elderly parents in their wheelchairs and made a special effort to serve them immediately. They serve American and Mexican dishes that are delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner now. The staff is friendly and very sweet. Try their fresh squeezed orange juice.
Excellent homestyle cooking and the best service! Thank you very much 😊 💜
Love going to mom and pops places to eat. This one is very dated on the inside (but that doesn't matter, I quite like it). Food is very "homey" (is that a word?) Coffee was good and always topped off. Staff was SUPER attentive. Just get your breakfast potatoes cooked crispy !!
My wife and I just went here for the first time and it was great! Fantastic food, no insanely long wait like the ones right down the street. Friendly staff. You won’t be disappointed!
We thought of trying this place for the first time. Had heard good things about it from my niece. Was surprised by the large portions of food served and good tasting. Service good and reasonable prices. Will have to go back to try their breakfasts.
10 stars for the workers , 2nd time here, and was greeted with smiles, kindness, and positive energy!! Home style Mexican food is amazing!!
My whole family has gone there for several years and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food, the tastiness and the great service
Desayunos deliciosos!!!
Food is OK. Good service and reasonably priced.
My first time eating here, I was disappointed bcuz they don't have Menudo, but my breakfast omelet was very good
Very good food, friendly service, reasonable prices.
Nice little mom and pop cafe most of the stuff's pretty good I'd recommend it as a place for somebody to go to have a nice inexpensive lunch.
I went with five friends for breakfast. We all found this cafe very clean, good customer service, food was plentiful with great taste, also a great dollar value...We will be back for more....
If you are looking for a great family owned restaurant, THIS IS THE PLACE. Great food, particularly the breakfast. However, all of the food is "top notch." SERVICE: FAMTASTIC
Great homestyle American and Mexican food. Always fresh and well prepared with a friendly staff that actually cares. Very much a "small town diner" in the middle of suburban LA/OC in a good way
I just moved into the area looked this place up and I wasn't disappointed very welcoming waitress and staff attentive love to go here for breakfast food is great only thing I'd suggest is work on there coffee other then that it's a great little spot
Food was great as always. Service was a little slow today. Slow service was a first for me. I've been here a few times and service was always faster. We will be back.
First time being with my cousin good service waitress very nice food great eating outside I had the nopales beans and country potatoes my cousin order pork chops and eggs which was very good will definitely be back
Wonderful staff. The food is always good, and the prices are great. Perfect for breakfast and lunch.
Good homemade food place could use a good cleaning. I think it's time for them to clean up the walls too. Maybe a nice paint job to brighten up the rooms. But the food is delicious! And the service is very friendly and that's why I keep going back!
The service is excellent. Food is delicious with home cooked quality. With that said, my food was not as warm as I like. We will go back again and look forward to the La Mirada location open on Sunday.
This place is the last of the old fashion coffee shops. The food is hot, the coffee is good and the service is great! I just wish the owner would do something about the stained ceiling and dreary wall paint and bad decor.
My French toast was absolutely delicious! I have absolutely nothing to complain about. My son enjoyed his pancakes, we were a little disappointed that they didn't have chocolate chips or blueberries for the pancakes but my son still enjoyed it. The bacon seemed like it was made earlier in the day and rewarmed. The huevos rancheros were surprisingly delicious. We will definitely be coming back again. Hopefully they get chocolate chips again.
Love the waitresses. Food is very good. Tho prices have gone up as has everywhere. Outdoor seating is limited but fine on a warm morning or nice day.
This place is not bad and not the best either more for locals seems like everyone that goes there has been for a while.Never been to a place where other customers know each other and all that stuff. Waitress is friendly and I can see why they like her. Overall good experience but not enough to where I would think of choosing this place again over other places.
Didn't told us the price would go up for ham steak instead of sausage. Food was plain.
I wish it were better as this is exactly the kind of local place I'd love to frequent. But the food is mediocre and the ambiance is 100% strip mall.
Inside is out dated. Could use a fresh paint. Food was Ok. I liked the nopales with egg. Beans were good, rice taste old some of the rice was hard. Freshly squeezed orange juice was good. But it did have seeds in it.
Had a pastrami sandwich. Very disappointing. Not what I am used to. One thin row of meat between 2 slices of flat bread. The onion rings were good.
Food is good a bit overpriced but good. 1 bad thing is they have alot of customers and not enough workers they brought our food out and it was cold I mean literally cold. This is not good!
Nice staff, yet no smiles, and prices way too high. Customers stuffy and cold. Not one person said hello as I walked through. Coffee is $4 with tax. I may have to walk out. 😢 Well, even though their place looks old and grungy, I gave them the benefit of doubt, and tried their chili omelette. It was very mediocre at best. No cilantro, and hash brown portion was barely half what you see in the pics. (I ate more air than tater) They even have a symbol desecrating the American flag on their wall. 😡 Do better LHH. I was fooled by the ratings, but should've known it wouldn't go well when I arrived at 9am and only 5 people were eating. Seat felt like it was about to break. Once again, DO BETTER LaHabra Heights Cafe. Live up to your name a little. Geez
Service was extremely slow. We waited 25 minutes for our food & then they forgot my son’s order. The staff handed us a sticky kids paper menu & barely came to check on us. The food is decent but for the prices we pay for brunch, I would expect more. Food is okay, nothing special. Just solid American brunch.
Just okay. Seems to be a local favorite tho...maybe better for the mexican food than the american breakfast. The pancakes weren't very good.
Ordered a meat lovers omlette to go over the weekend, the girl on the phone must of been having a bad morning, very snide,,,, as for the omlette, Bland the only thing in it that had flavor was the sausage, salsa had flavor but seem deluted with water, now lets get to the price for 14.99+tax, over priced for what seemed to be a two dare i say three egg omlette, guess they want you to fill up on the 4 slices of bread and potatoes which shined over the omlette it self......... will not be a return customer in the future.......
Parking here is very bad. Service took along time. Food was okay the eggs were cold. The steak was very chewy. It is a bit pricy
Good food, but slow, slow, slow. It was my first visit and I intend to go back because everyone can have a bad day. Ill update when I do. I'm updating! Finally went back and slow is definitely the norm here. The place is small and clearly loved as it's usually busy. The food is good too. The problem is the wait time from order to delivery. Its breakfast and we waited easily over 30 minutes for simple breakfast - eggs, pancakes, etc both visits. If you've got the time and patience, I recommend. If you don't, try somewhere else.
The food looks nothing like the pictures. The biscuits and gravy horrible. Gravy was an ugly color and so salty, biscuits looks like they were from a can.. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito chorizo and eggs and was mainly potatoes he said wow I got a potato burrito 😥 Then I ordered 2 eggs over medium and country potatoes. I sent the eggs back so runny with the whites not done. Waitress came back and asked me do you want the jell cooked hard I said you mean the yoke she said no jell or whites done ? I replied I ordered over medium. She said so you want them hard ? I said fine. So I got my plate back and eggs were burnt around edges I mean black. Potatoes were just quartered potatoes country should be at least onions added. Wow a horrible experience. Will never ever go back here again !! 😥
Walk in, absolutely enormous thin blue line flag, walk out. Jesus Christ Orange County. If you don't wanna give money to that, don't waste your time.
Place smells like gas station restroom. Food was cold, waitresses were rude, and was overpriced for quality.
If I could I would give no stars. I called to place an order and when I asked if they could substitute eggs for something else and I'll pay the difference because I'm allergic to eggs and the lady refused and said it had to come with eggs. How can you force someone to eat something they are ALLERGIC too? Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. And remind your workers if they are unhappy there to move on. No need to be rude to customers.
Came for biscuits and gravy. Got 4 extremely dry and salty biscuits with minimal gravy. I'm sure their food is delicious considering how many people were there. I just got the wrong item.
The place is outdated, prices too high for cheap tasting ingredients. Service was slow. I had to keep looking for the waitress to get coffee or pay my bill when it wasn't even busy. A breakfast/lunch at McDonalds would have been more satisfying.
For a simple grilled cheese with bacon this place charged me $14.99 with an iced tea.. the bacon was burned to a crisp and the cheese wasn't melted. Never eating at this place again.
Disappointed in the customer service, and the food is of low quality. Food portions are small. Only regulars guest are treated properly. My dog got lucky today he’s getting. My steak. Avoid this place like the plague!!!
Large plates however the food and drinks have NO FLAVOR. The food was not hot and no flavor. Food taste like HOSPITAL FOOD. The waitress took forever bringing a milkshake that was not good at all. Plain place with plain food. Not good at all. Spend the extra money on somewhere better.
