Great service. I recommend the specialty boba drinks like La Jolla Shores (bubble gum flavor) or Strawberry Shortcake. Both are delicious. Note: the store has paid parking but they will validate the parking ticket to be free.

After 2 hours at the beach this was the perfect place to cool off with a slushie. I had leeche peach and the wife had mango peach- 10 outta 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! They also have a variety of drinks but it's the slushies for me!!

Excellent new boba spot!! I’m a boba connoisseur (read: addict) and I loved this place. I got the strawberry matcha with brown sugar boba and the boba was cooked perfectly (nice and chewy) and the matcha was high quality. I’ll definitely be back! Tip: park in front of Nozomi so you don’t have to pay for parking.

The matcha is said to be imported from Japan and the matcha latte tastes pretty authentic to me. They also have so many other selections for fruit teas so I’ll come back and try them someday.

Super stoked they finally opened up a boba place in this center. The place is located in a shared unit (same owner I think) as Crispy Burger. Nothing better than a double smashed burger, some salty fries and power that down with an Ice cold boba!

Tried La Jolla Boba for the first time and overall had a good experience. The staff members provided quick service while keeping their friendly attitude when they served our drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha and the Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie. The Strawberry Matcha provided a nice drinking experience because its matcha taste stayed delicate as it combined with strawberry flavors. The Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie was also good, creamy and refreshing. The drinks maintained a consistent quality and the prices were reasonable at $7.50 each for the regular size. The shop was empty during my visit so I experienced complete silence while I relaxed there. A nice perk is that they vouch for parking, which makes stopping by more convenient in La Jolla.

It is SO sweet. And not in a good way. And they use powder products. They charge 1$ extra for a scoop of boba. Not worth the price.

I can’t actually review the drinks that we bought, because although the employee told me they had put Boba straws into the bag, when I opened the bag, there were no straws! #fail They look tasty. I will definitely check for straws before I leave the store next time.

The tea itself is really good ! However the boba was pretty bland and had no flavor (very watery). Plus pearls were pretty stuck together and clogged the straw. Maybe it was just a bad batch. Would have to try again to confirm.

Service was quick and very friendly! Unfortunately the milk tea was terrible :( I ordered a 50% sugar Hokkaido milk tea, but even with the adjustment it was still SUPER sweet, like drinking pure syrup even after mixing up the drink. There was way too much creamer and no tea taste at all, I didn’t see any tea particles at the bottom of the cup. Would not recommend ordering any milk teas :( On a good note, I also tried the La Jolla Sunrise and it was significantly better! Not bad overall but stick to the fruit teas

I went 3 times trying to give it a chance, but I can't find myself liking any of their boba. The boba itself is so small I barely get any satisfaction biting into it. Also, many of their drinks just don't do it for me. I've tried the strawberry matcha and milky mango so far and they were mid at best. I can't recommend this place at all but will update as it looks like la jolla shore flavor is popualr.

Been there a couple times to give them a chance, both times the drink was way too sweet, boba was overcooked and everything tasted artificial. Been dreaming of more boba shops in La Jolla but that’s sub-par

I ordered a matcha drink here and was incredibly disappointed—it didn’t taste like matcha at all. It was basically just sweet milk with a faint green tint. No earthy flavor, no depth, nothing remotely close to what matcha should taste like. When I asked if I could exchange it for a different drink, the server declined and simply asked if I wanted to add more sweetener... which made no sense, since the problem wasn’t that it wasn’t sweet—it was that it didn’t taste like matcha at all. Between the lackluster drink and the dismissive service, I won’t be returning. If you're a matcha lover, I’d suggest going elsewhere.
