I had Hibiscus tea and my daughter had a Matcha Latte which she stated was very very good!! The employees were also very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend visiting if you love coffee and/or tea. Follow me on IG @ dr.riley15_ for more reviews!

The coffee was delicious as expected from Pete's. Yet, sitting close to the counter where finished coffees and teas were placed I could hear the baristas telling people to be careful of hot tea and telling them how long to steep it for the best flavor. I also heard them address customers by name when they came in. These people really care and were very efficient and on top of everything.

The nitro cold brew is pure at this peets. The head on the cup started strong like it should. Some places serve nitro cold brew with low nitrogen and I don't quite understand why. Moving away from the brew, the location is solid. There several spots to study, the guys serving coffee are cool, and the place isn't incredibly busy, so it makes for a productive afternoon if you come here for a cup.

The server and baristas were pleasant and accommodating to me. I am neurodivergent and take a long time to order but they were patient and didn’t once make me feel uncomfortable. I enjoyed the tea lemonade iced drink which was a perfect balance of sweetness, lemony tartness and just a hint of bitterness from the green tea. Very refreshing and not caloric. The branch is in an upscale area of La Jolla and no doubt they get a lot of spoilt rich people complaining like babies, but they still stay kind and compassionate.

I got the sparkling peach matcha. It was very refreshing and the matcha quality was good but there wasn’t much matcha. It just tasted like peach sparkling water.

I stopped by for a cup of coffee during my visit to La Jolla. It was afternoon, however not very busy. I got a mocha latte, and it was very basic, and mediocre. There was no good aroma or kick to it, neither any good chocolate taste. They had some baked goods/ snacks as well. I didn’t eat though, so can’t really comment. Overall the place looks cool, but the coffee was mostly disappointing to me.

Our cashier was AMAZING kind & personal. Unfortunately fellow staff member inserted herself loud & rude into conversation from across the other side. Also her training was so loud felt we were all subject to her and her tone is very negative and degrading sounding. Does not give a positive atmosphere experience

Stopped by for a coffee on our way to the airport and the pretentious young lady at the front was flabbergasted when I asked if they were owned by Starbucks. It looks literally like a Starbucks at the counter, so I was curious and she was so rude about it, like I’d insulted the core of her being lol Maybe it’s a California thing? I don’t know lol

It was a very uncomfortable experience as a customer. I would come back because the product was great however I hope this day was a one off. In all of the days I’ve gotten coffee from there this is the only time I’ve ever seen behavior like this.

They were politely seated and a customer who was working on a tablet with no coffee complained and we were asked to leave. Two women behind us saw what happened and complimented our children and ended up leaving without ordering. What shambolic management by this establishment.
