Adobe Grill La Quinta Reviews
This place is BEAUTIFUL and has great food and service. You should call for reservations ahead of time! Be sure to ask for outdoor dining—the space is gorgeous with fountains, incredible live flowers, evening lighting and a sunset behind the VERY close San Jacinto mountains. You won’t be disappointed!
What a beautiful place nestled between mountains and beautiful Palm trees. Celebrated our anniversary and it did not disappoint, great food, great quick service, music was great as well. As soon as the sun started going down it became even more magical with the firepit and the lights. Definitely we will be back
We live nearby so frequent Adobe. Tonight the service was slow but the food was absolutely delish. The fresh made guac and salad are always good. This time I ordered the roasted cauliflower and it knocked my socks off. Well, it’s the desert so I wasn’t actually wearing socks, but if I had…never mind. The cauliflower is amazing!!!
Great place for romantic or memorable dinner. Food is authentic and very good. Cadillac Margarita was perfect.
We spent a week and it’s a fantastic place to spend the night with family or friends. Service, food and the music is something to remember. Food is being shown, I will show you the place in and out. Totally worth the visit.
The food is authentic and seasoned to perfection. This was my first time here and had my doubts about how authentic. I asked for the huitlacoche quesadilla not a n the menu but in one of the reviews. It was delicious. The Enmolada chicken enchiladas. The mole sauce made from scratch, mmm! My waiter Victor hooked me up with my compliments to Chef. Chef Marco took the time to introduce himself. Very talented. Do I recommend this place? Highly.
So good we had to come back again! The restaurant has a really fun vibe and the second time we went they had live music! Definitely sit outside and soak in the atmosphere. The hamachi kept us coming back for more. It's citrusy, tangy, and extremely fresh. Straight from the ocean to plate. 10/10. The queso fundido was tasty but you gotta eat it quickly because when it gets cold the cheese becomes into one big blob and it's not as fun. The chiles gueros were bomb. I loved the subtle heat and it's stuffed with shrimps and cheese. The diablo shrimp and scallops was SPICY. But delicious. Just make sure you have a marg to wash down the heat. The enchiladas were tasty, but the pulled chicken was a little bit dry and tougher to chew. Also get the tres leches over the churros. Thanks for the amazing service!
Had the opportunity to have lunch here before going into the festival for Coachella and it was AMAZING! Such a beautiful space! The entire staff I encountered were so positive and kind and well managed for a super busy time of day! I had the Tostadas de Atun at recommendation by the waiter as I was looking for something light but energizing for the afternoon and eve ahead. Paired with a margarita and some delish chips and salsa and this was a FANTASTIC meal! Super fresh and light and just right! Thank you to the team here and keep up the great work!
This restaurant was in a beautiful location and transformed me to Mexico. Food and drinks were great! Service excellent.
First time been here and will definitely be back! Outdoor seating is very romantic at night. Overall a nice place for a little friends gathering or dinner for two. Food was great as well.
I thought this was the best restaurant in La Quinta Resort. Victor was wonderful; very sweet, attentive and made a wonderful recommendation for what to eat for dinner (The shrimp empanadas! So good!).
Beautiful outdoor dining experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Drinks are exceptional and over all a beautiful experience. A little pricey for Mexican food but overall a wonderful experience.
I was upset that Morgans restaurant was closed but instead we tried out this Mexican Cuisine restaurant and we were completely satisfied with our choice. Not only was the service quick and efficient but the food was delicious!!! Most of us ordered the prime rib and we fell in love. Dessert was small and tasty and packed so much flavor. YOU MUST GET THIER QUESO FUNDIDO!!!!
Amazing, the service, the quickness of delivering our food. The scenery and setting beautiful. Recommended for a better than nice date night.
What a neat venue! Neat outdoor space that had heaters, but we decided to eat inside. Food was fast and delicious, staff were friendly and atmosphere was fun. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the drinks were tasty.
Outstanding outdoor setting overlooking the La Quinta resort. Great place to relax, have a cocktail, people watch, and listen to the live band. Or have a romantic dinner. Either way, you'll have a memorable time.
The ambience at this restaurant is beautiful! You get a real feeling of relaxation. My skirt steak fajitas were delicious!! I'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.
Spacious outdoor seating. Beautiful atmosphere. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the house sangria pitcher (or 2) and the tres leche cake. Excellent service from AnnaMaria.
Awesome ambiance with guitarist playing. Indoor outdoor sitting. Service is excellent, food is delicious.
Fabulous meal out on the patio. Heaters kept us warm. I had the 3 item combination- chili relleno , tamale, and enchilada, my wife had the sea bass which was perfection. Attentive service. Will be back!
Had an amazing experience at Adobe Restaurant. Our server Saulo F. went above and beyond to ensure my grandmother had an amazing 80th birthday dinner. We order grande margaritas, fajitas, enchiladas, tamales and tacos. Thank you, Saulo for making our visit memorable. We will definitely return!
One over the top experiences we’ve had at a Waldorf. The food was exquisite but the service and drinks is what made the night. Edgar makes a mean “Tyler” it was the special beer Rita we made that evening. Beer Rita’s are huge in Texas though this was a first for them and they gave Texas a run for the money. Vicki our server also helped us get lettuce wraps for our fajitas which was a huge surprise. Hats of to this restaurant they definitely got it going for them
Oof you pay for what you get☺️ and that’s excellently👨🏻🍳💯 eat the best while listening to live band blasting Mexican music🥰 an exceptional experience to bring family😗
Love it the food is delicious! Awesome place to get away have some drinks and very nice atmosphere!
Great restaurant. Beautiful outside eating location at this resort. We enjoyed the music & margaritas while waiting for our food. It was a special evening.
We had a great meal here. Great guacamole and tacos and nice atmosphere. Our waitress was great. Thank you!
Mariana is the best server at this restaurant her service is above and beyond. She has the best vibe and literally carries the entire restaurant. She gives off the best energy, and we are obsessed with her!!! We are coming back literally just to see her next time we come, we are going to request her because she’s literally the best server we ever had. The food came out so quick and we had the best night dancing with the karaoke band! We will be back
Absolutely Fantastic tonight this place never disappoints, we just love this place, tonight we had probably the best waiter we have had. Carlos was great, we had a 1 yr old with us and he was so fast to get her a little water, and made sure she was Happy, our food was out fast, and delicious. I just wanted to make sure Carlos was recognized for his outstanding Service, and true Professionalism I wish all Establishments were like this. The Adobe Grill is a must if in the Desert.
Excellent food, beautiful environment, live music and a drink called pomegranate cosmos to die for. Love the place can’t wait to go back.
Been displayed many times and it never gets old. The guacamole is by far the best I’ve ever had everything about the place the food and the atmosphere is why this is getting an easy five stars if you’re looking for the best tacos and the best Mexican food then come here. It is definitely worth paying over 200 bucks with your family to get the best tacos ever definitely would recommend recommended every time again.
The most fantastic food. We had such a wonderful experience with our server, Eva. She’s a ray of light and made it a magical night. Muchísimas gracias amor!
Beautiful atmosphere and really great food! We got the mole enchiladas and they were delicious. Excellent service as well, we’d definitely come back.
Awesome patio, family friendly environment. Lots of large groups. Ample heaters. We felt like we were waiting for our server or ordered food quite a few times. Food was good! Mole was a little spicy for me but great flavor.
Great food, beautiful views. Arriving at the Adobe Grill, you walk up beautifully landscaped hilly walkways, and greeted with the sounds of the house band playing on one of the outdoor levels. As we checked-in for our reservation (reservation recommended), we got seated on one of the outdoor balcony tables. The views are perfect, as you get to see the sunsetting on the mountain sides. Chips and salsa were brought to the table right away. This is one of the best chips and salsas I've had in a long time. The chips were thick and crunchy and salsa was made with fire-roasted tomatoes, thick and full of flavor. I ordered the carnitas; comes with rice and beans, tortillas and sides of an avocado lime salsa and a roasted tomato (warmed) salsa. Both were pretty good. The carnitas were mostly tender; with the exception of the harder meat ends. The rice and beans were very tasty. You can't beat the atmosphere here. From the beautiful views, to the authentic modern mexican furnishings. Very upscale. The service was good. The server took our orders right away and the food came fast. But trying the get any one of the many people working there's attention was a little tricky. I know they are all moving so fast to help others. The price was on the high end for Mexican food, but I think you're paying for location, views, and entertainment with the food.
Restaurant Review: Adobe Grill - La Quinta Resort & Club During my recent visit to La Quinta Resort & Club, I had the pleasure of dining at Adobe Grill, a vibrant spot known for its Mexican cuisine. The experience was a delightful blend of flavor and ambiance, making it a memorable part of my trip. First and foremost, the Mexican food served at Adobe Grill was quite good. Each dish showcased a balance of traditional flavors and contemporary twists, reflecting a deep respect for Mexican culinary heritage. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation of each dish was visually appealing, adding to the overall dining experience. The margaritas deserve a special mention. They were not only tasty but also well-crafted, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tang. It's a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a classic Mexican cocktail with a modern flair. Regarding my likelihood of revisiting, I would certainly say yes. The Adobe Grill offers a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience that calls for repeat visits. However, in the spirit of honesty, while the food was good, I must admit that I have had better Mexican cuisine elsewhere. This is not to say that Adobe Grill doesn't have its unique charm and quality, but rather an acknowledgment of the diverse landscape of Mexican culinary offerings out there. The staff at Adobe Grill deserves a round of applause. Their attentiveness and professionalism were notable. They were prompt, courteous, and had a great knowledge of the menu, which helped in making informed choices. Their service greatly enhanced the dining experience.
We love coming here for dinner when we stay at La Quinta. We were excited for dinner after a long day relaxing by the pool. We got 8:15pm reservations so we would have enough time to get ready. We were running early so we checked in to see if there was any chance to eat earlier. We were told that they were really busy so our 8:15 was the earliest. We were told to head to one of the three bars to grab a drink which sounded refreshing. They pointed out the bars so we walked to the middle bar only to be told we had to go inside to order drinks. The bartender inside was super friendly and made us some bomb margaritas. We headed out to the patio to drink them while we waited and filled up on chips and salsa. At 8pm we went back down to check in again, just to make sure we were good for our reservation. We were told they would text us when they were ready, so we returned to the bar to wait. At 8:30pm we went back to check in, only to be told there were 4 tables ahead of us and it would be another 25 minutes!! Not cool. After a few minutes we were given a great table and seated for dinner. We were eating so late we mostly ordered appetizers and salads. Food was good but we had to keep asking for items like plates, silverware, salad dressing. Not the service we are used to. The ambiance is great here, the music is great for dining, and we will definitely be back but this experience was not a 5 star service you’d expect.
Great location. The chips need more Flavor according to my wife.Food was great. Try the Brussel spouts and cauliflower was awesome.
Victor was amazing, very attentive and friendly. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. We ordered Carne Asada NY Steak (seared perfectly), Enchiladas Verdes, Shrimp Ceviche and Churro dessert. Everything was so delicious!!
Such a great spot! The atmosphere is so fun with live music, indoor/outdoor seating, and beautiful views! The service is also great. Will be back.
Its average Mexican fare. All the usual dishes. It's good. Just nothing stood out. Listen, I get it. We're at a resort. Things are gonna be pricey. But, geez. Its pricey.
I would like to start by giving props to the amazing fine dining service teams involved at Adobe Grille. I worked in the service industry for years so am very careful in my honest reviews. To management, the tuna was not fresh and this is not a good brand for your establishment. The scallops were over-cooked and the shrimp I would not write home about. It was Jesus and your amazing servers that made this a 4 star moment. Food quality alone would have been a 2. Appreciate you all and share this out of love. Keep shining and Jesus saved the day. Mgmt take note. 🌈
Best time to eat here is in the evenings in their outside seating area. Great ambiance and did - little on the expensive side, but worth the experience.
Unparalleled atmosphere-just gorgeous! The service was excellent and we had some of the best margaritas I’ve had in quite a while. Highly recommend. The food was tasty but a bit small on the portion sizes for mains considering the price. Overall I highly recommend!
Salsas were unusual. Mixed the first salsa we received with pico and the hot sauce I requested. Steak Fajitas were very good and chicken fajitas were average. Tortillas were very good.
Came with family to try it out it was fun and staff are friendly. Food is not as expected we ordered the seabass, mole, combination. Mole has to much anise you can taste it right of the bat but it's good flavor. Seabass has a lot of different combinations between sweet and sour but I feel it's overload with flavors (to my liking) but the seabass was cooked perfectly. At last the combination was just okay. Oh also ordered steak fajitas but didn't get the chance to try them they smelled and looked good though.
Incredible atmosphere if you sit outside and really good fajitas. The service was really poor however and it wasn't even that busy. I do recommend due to the food and atmosphere, just don't expect good service.
Really disappointed. We have been coming here for years, but it had been a while since our last visit. They’ve significantly expanded their outdoor seating- which is great, as the setting and ambiance are fantastic. Unfortunately the food was awful and not up to the standard we had come to expect. No more table side guacamole, the dishes (enchiladas and fajitas) all came out in 5 minutes after ordering, so obviously not cooked fresh at all. The carnitas were one congealed mess, the chicken for the fajitas was obviously pre-made and rubbery and the portion sizes were very small. We won’t be back sadly.
Frozen Raw Sea Bass ! Our $256 dollar meal for two unfortunately included sea bass that was frozen solid in the middle and required a steak knife to cut, I had to send it back. Fortunately I haven’t gotten sick yet, but I was shocked. The atmosphere is great. But I would recommend the chips and salsa only.
Ordered a Fajita plate and asked for extra tortilla shells because they only give 3 shells with your meal with all those vegetables and shrimp and chicken ! and they said NO ! Also asked the manager he said No As well , it would be an extra charge . Yup won’t be eating at this money hungry Restaurant ever again ! They charge extra for every little thing . And the lemonade is disgusting !
Overall, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food arrived cold and took over an hour to reach our table. The service was equally poor. We had to repeatedly ask for refills for a single batch of drinks, and the plates kept stacking up, leaving our water empty most of the night. To make matters worse, the sodas for multiple members arrived flat. We had to return a couple of items and were still charged for both. However, there was one saving grace: the atmosphere was fantastic. The beautiful scenery and the live band created a lively atmosphere that left our party on a high note. I must give credit to the band for their choice of music. In conclusion, I will not be returning to this restaurant. It was an opportunity missed, as we all had high hopes for this place. .
