Bundoo Khan is praised for its authentic Pakistani BBQ, especially the flavorful and tender kabobs. Customers highlight the clean environment, prompt service, and lively atmosphere, making it a great spot for families and groups. Some note potential wait times and self-service style.
Tip: The best time to go is when they first open to avoid crowds. Also, don't miss the tamarind chutney!

This place has some really good Pakistani food. We tried multiple things like chicken tikka, fish, kebabs, halwa, and puri, and everything was better than our expectations. The food was surprisingly not overly greasy except for the halwa and puri, obviously. I'd definitely recommend it if someone is looking for authentic Pakistani food.
This without any doubt is the best Pakistani BBQ joint in CA. Gola kabob, chicken malai boti, falooda, and chai are must haves.
One of the best kabab places I have ever been to (I am a huge kabab fan). Try their beef bihari boti kabab. This was finger licking delicious. The fish grill and lamb chop was also great. The falooda is just treat for your mind. You will forget all your pain. My only regret is I didn’t have enough time in Anaheim to go to this place again. Extremely recommended.
Very busy. This place is delicious. Fresh chicken or beef. The roti roll is yummy. Chicken is so soft. It does get crowded.
We ordered Lamb chops, chicken Malai boti, chicken piece & beef bihari boti with puri parathas. I must say all this was worth trying. Excellent taste specially chops & beef bihari boti was awesome. If you ❤️ spicy desi food then it's a heaven. We came to visit LA and drove almost 70 miles for this restaurant and it was all worth it. Highly recommend 👍🇵🇰
Ok the must have menu item is the faluda which really is a dessert but I got it as a "sorry we messed up your order" complimentary offering. I ordered a number of different choices on the menu including the lamb chops. All were served hot and tasty. The Naan bread was quite good. I know there is quite a buzz about this place but I wasn't sure why. The food is good but not great. The spice level was good. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. The location too is quite convenient. The entire menu is halal which is why I went there.
BEST Pakistani BBQ I’ve had in the USA thus far. The kebabs were tasty and fresh alongside the tandoori chicken. The naan also tasted delicious and FRESH!! The pistachio kulfi was mediocre but since they’re known for BBQ and the BBQ menu was mind blowing . This place is 5/5 and definitely worth a try!
Yunmy food, local Pakistani haunt, and good Falooda dessert. Came with a friend who knew what to order. Worth trying out.
Bundoo Khan in Los Angeles serves up a satisfying array of flavors that truly deliver on authentic taste. We ordered the chicken tikka, malai boti, and beef behari, all of which were perfectly spiced and cooked to tender perfection. The food was undeniably delicious and made for a memorable dining experience. However, a word of caution—make sure to double-check the bill before settling up. We noticed that a tip was added without our prior approval, which could catch some off guard. This small oversight aside, the food and ambiance make Bundoo Khan worth a visit. Just keep an eye on the details at checkout!
All Staff are amazing and very hard working as you can see them live on the stations specially morning lady on the front. It’s the staff effort to make this place amazing with good quality food. We came from Canada and ate six days from there and enjoyed the food every day. Only need to add hand wash sinks outside as well.
Oh my God ..the crowd said it all. About 15 mins wait to order and another 45 mina for food to come out. All just because of the volume of guests. It was impressive to see the energetic, efficient staff bustle about in the back. Lately, due to staffing issues restaurants don't have enough people working. These people seem to be knowing it all...food, people, service !. Excellent lamb chops..succulent, moist just done perfectly. The Chicken Tikka had great flavor and seasoning .The breast pieces weren't dry at all. We also tried the chicken seekh kebabs and masala fries..both were pretty too . Perfect Father's Day dinner! Shall be back for sure.
The best Desi style bar be que in all of the US. Their Lamb chops are the most delicious I have ever had. Everything on their menu is great. We drive all the way from Arizona to Bundoo Khan in California just to have their food and they have never disappointed. Sweetest thing they had added to their offering our last trip was fresh Sugar cane juice... loved it. Dare I say this place may even be better than the one in Karachi!
Amazing food.. was visiting from NY and it hard to please us when it comes to Paki food. This came highly recommended and boy did we arrive hungry. Behari Tikka was my favorite it was on point Chicken Tikka Gola kabab Malai kaab Tried the. With Garlic Naan and Poiri paratha This as close to Karachi / Authentic you can get Chatpataaa and mazaidaar
It's always a mouth watering experience to come here. We come from Arizona to visit this authentic parathas, halwa and barbq place in Fulerton California. Never gets disappointed, their limca, faluda and naans are highly recommended. Place is clean and hospitality is superb, to go boxes and chutneys are placed conveniently.
I personally liked their barbecue and everything was too good. Desi touch and spices in LA. Restaurant was very clean and healthy food served
September 2022: I have visited this restaurant more times since the first visit and updated the rating from 3 stars to 5 stars based on better service and cleanliness on weekdays. Thank you for great Karachi bbq. January 2022: 5 stars for food. This is legendary and most authentic Pakistani barbeque. 1 star for customer service and cleanliness. You are on you own to fight for your table in a crowded restaurant on weekends!
Excellent new restaurant in Fullerton, right next to CSUF. These guys came all the way out, "STRAIGHT FROM KARACHI," to give us authentic Pakistani food. So I had to drive 26 miles to see what the hype was about, and they did not disappoint. The Beef Bihari Boti Roll wins, hands down; but I also tried the Chicken Malai Boti Roll which was just as flavorful. The Chicken Seekh Kabob was a little TOO soft (made me wonder if it was a little undercooked -- I'll update my post if I end up getting sick 😁), but the Beef Seekh Kabob was on point.👌 I hope they do well out here so I can visit again next time I'm in OC!
One of the best grill chicken and lamb chops place in and around Orange County. Their food is amazingly delicious, rightly seasoned, and excellent flavors. Lamb chops is definitely a mandatory thing to order for. The chicken leg grill is excellent too, you can ask for spicy in it. Overall an excellent place, highly recommended for all the meat lovers. Will be back for more
That sounds like a wonderful testimonial! Here’s a polished version for you: --- I want to take this opportunity to thank the staff and restaurant for always being spotlessly clean and friendly. This place never disappoints. While nothing is perfect, I've never had a bad experience here. If you're in Orange County, please visit this place—it reminds me of Karachi, and their tamarind chutney is to die for. I don't know the staff or owner personally, but AB and Chris always make you feel welcome. Thank you, guys. This place is super clean.
An excellent place for kobab and meat lovers. It’s originally a Pakistani restaurant famous since early 60s. Their kabab paratha specialty is known not only in Pakistan but also in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, USA and Canada. Their seekh kabab, malai boot, gola kabab, chanp, all are great and must to try. Plain naan, paratha and garlic bread were good too. Their refilable chai was so great in that relatively cold evening.
MEAT LOVERS paradise!! Best Pakistani bbq restaurant there is in SoCal!! Everything is delicious here! I’ve been here a few times with my entire family and loved it every single time. My favorites are the lamb chops, chicken tikka, gola kabab, signature seekh kabob (we can thank the Mughals for the origin of all these mouthwatering and delectable dishes), masala fries, garlic naan, paratha, falooda, kulfi and strawberry and chocolate ice cream….ok so everything on the menu you have to get! Lol! It is on the spicy side so it’s a little spicy for me because I have acid reflux, but it still didn’t stop me from indulging in all the yummy food.
Best kebabs in LA. Melt in your mouth Beef Bihari of Chicken Malai boti. Food is excellent and they have an open kitchen concept which is very cool. The place is very clean and well staffed but it gets very busy. They have plenty of seating in the front, at the back and in store. Their menu is simple but covers all your protein needs. If you are vegetarian, this is not your place. They also sell traditional falooda which is amazing here - a must try. They prepare foods to order so expect to wait around 15-20mins for your food and around 10mins to place your order.
Ample seating inside and outside. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer. The food was delicious! Bihari boti and paratha were great. Spicy but not overwhelming. The people working here were very nice and the service was quick. Highly recommend this place as a Pakistani restaurant. They offer breakfast on the weekends.
I had an amazing experience at Bondhu Khan BBQ & Kabab! The food was absolutely delicious and 100% halal. The BBQ was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of authentic desi flavor. The kababs were tender and well-seasoned, and the naan was fresh and soft. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and respectful. The service was fast, and the portions were generous for the price. If you’re looking for authentic halal BBQ and kababs in Los Angeles , this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended! I will definitely come back again, InshaAllah.
If you are from Karachi then you know this is the most authentic Karachi taste you can get in U.S. Items are priced very reasonably and the desserts are amazing. Now the thing I didn't like. No reservations, or line for getting a table. It's like you gotta hover over people who are already eating to see when they are gonna leave so you can grab the table. They need to do a number system and seat people themselves. This is not good specially during rush hours. I hope the owner reads the reviews since I'm not the only one complaining about this.
Hands down the best kabob I have tried in the US. Service is pretty quick given it does take some time to prepare kabobs. Staff is always courteous. Lamb chops- excellent Chicken malai boti - excellent gola kabob - out of this world beef bihari kabob- excellent Ferrero rocher chocolate milk shake - yum Chicken tikka(white meat) spicy - pretty disappointing certainly did not live up to the hype.
I went with a friend who has had this style of food his whole life and he can attest, authentic and delicious. 3 adults had lunch here this most recently. The garlic naan was perfectly soft and crispy with garlic and butter well balanced. We bought 12 seekh kebab (beef) and really enjoyed the flavor. This was my favorite, with the naan and raita. It was not spicy but very well spiced and flavorful, perfectly cooked, stayed together when you hold it but easily rips to bite with the naan. We got two orders of bihari boti (beef). This was very flavorful and not too spicy but if you are more of a mild kind of salsa person, plan for some sizzle in your mouth even with the raita. However, the fact that it is grilled and still has this texture as if it were slow cooked, amazing. It must be the marinade. This one was the favorite of my two lunch mates. Lastly, we got the chicken boti. I was told by my friend the later you go in the day, the stronger the flavor because it'll marinade longer. However, even at lunchtime, it was really good. This one also was a little spicy, but not as much as the bihari boti. I really enjoyed this with the garlic naan. Only negative but doesn't warrant removing a star, was that I didn't like the chai. I loved Chai all through India and have had it at home many places, but this one just wasn't my favorite flavor profile. It was a bit more bitter, so required 4 sugar packets and still wasn't my favorite. I went and had a mango lemonade instead and it was not overly sweet, good balance of flavors, very smooth, definitely made up for the chai! I wish I had come with a bigger appetite because it was a great meal. The food is very authentic. The flavor profiles unique. The techniques used to cook these foods is legit, and you can watch it all with the open view into the kitchen.
Very nice restaurant. Same style chicken also available at BK Khan in Dallas but with better ambience. Same Style chicken also available at Al-Mueed Restaurant in Dallas. Probably somehow all three have similar roots
Authentic Pakistani food with amazing flavor. We had the Bihari Kabab, Malai Boti, Loki halwa, gajar halwa and Chicken Tikka, and every dish was delicious. Tommy provided excellent, friendly service.
Authentic Pakistani bbq flavor, delicious kababs and on point parathas. We tried rolls, chicken tikka, gola and bihari kabab, and falooda, all were tasty. This restaurant is self serving kind, you place order on kiosk and pick yourself. Can be crowded with no seating available inside. Parking and restroom available.
Bundoo Khan consistently serves authentic, flavorful food with excellent quality. Their ambiance adds to the experience — classic desi songs playing in the background create a warm, nostalgic vibe. It’s a great spot for family gatherings, offering generous portions and traditional flavors that genuinely hit home. No frills, just good food and a welcoming environment. Highly recommended.
Yesterday was my first time going there, and I actually forced my mom and dad to come with me — but the food was so good that even they ended up really happy. I tried the chicken breast, chicken gola kabab, and beef bihari boti, and all three were absolutely speechless-level good. The chicken and beef were so juicy. My mom loved the food as well, and we will definitely try this place again next time. The best Pakistani restaurant in California for sure.
The place never ceases to amaze me. Busy as always. It is a controlled chaos, to put it in a lightly. I think they were short on staff that day, but others stepped up to the challenge and put in their best. It shows the dedication and passion of the team. I am sure they are all taken care of. Keep it up
Bundoo Khan in Fullerton is hands down one of the best Pakistani halal restaurants in Southern California. The food is always freshly cooked, bursting with authentic flavors, and perfectly spiced — from their juicy grilled kebabs and tender chicken to the soft, buttery naan. The dining space is huge, comfortable, and perfect for both small gatherings and large groups. I’ve been here multiple times with different groups of friends and teammates, and everyone has always loved the experience. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the food quality is consistently excellent. I drive more than 100 miles one way to go there every other week. If you’re craving true Pakistani BBQ and authentic desi flavors in a clean, lively setting — Bundoo Khan in Fullerton is the place to go. Highly recommended!
We tried Bundoo Khan and really enjoyed the experience! The chicken tikka was absolutely delicious — juicy and perfectly cooked. The bihari kabab was spicy and tasty, just the way we like it. The beef sheekh kabab, however, could have been cooked a bit more. We had everything with fresh paratha and naan, which were great. Falooda at the end was delicious and refreshing! One suggestion: they should provide lime or lemon wedges with the BBQ dishes — that would make it even better. Overall, definitely worth a visit!
I just ordered a ton of BBQ from Bundoo Khan, and let me tell you—it was an absolute flavor explosion! 🔥 The portions were super generous, the prices were totally on point, and that tamarind chutney? Game changer. Seriously, it's to die for. Every time I’m in LA, a stop at Bundoo Khan is a must. Trust me, this place never disappoints! 👌🍖✨
Visiting from New York for a conference at the Anaheim convention center, I stumbled upon this place while searching for halal options. The moment I saw the infamous name “Bundoo Khan,” my mouth started watering. The place is incredibly smooth and efficient, using a kiosk to order your food. This streamlined process made the ordering experience much easier. While Bundoo Khan doesn’t serve curries or Byriani, their BBQ items are simply divine. The kebabs, including the Bihari kebab and gola kebab, were bursting with juicy and flavorful meat. I highly recommend trying them. The restaurant operates like a food court, with everything served on a self-serve basis. However, the process is incredibly smooth and efficient. I ordered the malai tikkaa, beef Bihari, and gola kebab, and all three were absolutely fantastic. Shoutout to faiz who’s very helpful and friendly!
This is a causal cafe style eatery where you serve yourself. Plastic dish-ware, sauces, soft drinks, and napkins are located in a help yourself area towards the back of the restaurant. They do BBQ here, so no veggies or gravies, biryani, or rice, but they can do some wraps. They also have a nice selection of desserts. We really enjoyed everything we got, and raita and chutney were good too. Don’t expect any ambiance or full service dinning or menus. More like an eat your meal and head out place. Would definitely go back, but we live near LAX, so it took us about 45 minutes at 8pm. Place is open till midnight too. The naan and paratha were great!

Excellent service and good food. Nihari can be better and quantity was less compared to price. Gola & bihari kabab and malai boti was great. Will visit again.
Food is good but it takes a longer time to wait. During our visit this place had many customers falling in line. No seats available especially for senior citizens.
Amazing BBQ! This place is such a vibe, it’s perfect when you are craving something a little exotic. The classic desi music, the open kitchen, and most importantly, the food. We’ve been coming here for about a year now and our personal favorites are beef seekh kabob, chicken seekh kabob, beef Bihari, and malai chicken. Also, their naan is one of the best I’ve ever had. If you are visiting California, drop in here for some great food. Even I you live in California, you should still drop in, more often even. I took off a star for quality control during rush hour, but the food is still very enjoyable.
The food was phenomenal, however the service was short of terrible. The workers failed to provide the adequate amount of food ordered at the time of receiving it, and it took multiple times to have the servers deliver the right food, which in itself took 30 minutes to an hour. The atmosphere was not too bad, but the registers were surrounded by angry customers being given the wrong food. I’m going to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt and give them a 4 star review, as the food was just too good to pass on.
Fast food type restaurant, having limited non veg menu It has self services, with seating arrangements. It offers good kabab, tandoori both mutton and chicken. Halwa paratha is good. There is option for soft drinks.
Eating in the evening the lighting inside is very dim making it difficult to read the menu. I had to use my phone's light just to read it properly and saw plenty of others doing the same. Just a little more light would bring the atmosphere up. Price: $$-$$$$ We started with Pani Puri which comes in 4 and was tasty so I give it a 3/5. Mango Mojito: 4/5 Sloppy Khan: 5/5 Nihari: 1/5, Portion size is good but the meat wasn't tender enough and there was too much cartilage for my liking. The sauce didn't bring out anything special either. My wife has made a better nihari at home and for the price of $20 I would pass up on ordering this. Biryani: 5/5, nice flavor and had just enough spice in it to make it stand out. I just wish they gave more raitu but other than that I loved it. Chole: 4/5, good dish with some spice to it. Butter Chicken: 4/5, my kids had this and if they don't complain it isn't spicy then it's a win. The chicken was done properly and the sauce was okay for my taste. Naan: 3/5, parts were too crunchy making it just flake instead of having a nice softness to it. I enjoyed the place more than last time so it was a plus overall, but next time it will be during lunch hour.
Most flavorful chicken tikka I have ever had. Naan was delicious, soft, and buttery. 5 stars for food hands down. The 4 stars is due to the long wait time to receive our food and the unclear area for where to place our order; people kept cutting in line due to the confusion. Took 36min from the time we ordered and received food. Sit down restaurants are often faster, so I would expect quicker from a fast casual QSR. Definitely recommend.
Their kababs are amazing! Puri or nan is horrible. Go to Shalimar or Pakwaan and try their nans (they are delicious). I noticed owner reads the good reviews and thank them, where as he should be reading and replying to the unhappy customers so that he makes improvements and learns how to be a 5 star restaurant. You learn from critics.
We went there last night by driving 34miles. The place is pretty good. There was a party going on. That’s why it was crowded. We ordered lamb chops, Special beef boti kabab, and Beef Bihari kabab along with parathas, lassi and Falooda. All the foods were really tasty. The parathas were little oily, but crispy and tasty. After a long time i got the taste of the real asian (indian) kababs!!! I would love to visit there again.
Bundoo Khan is a Halal, Authentic Pakistani Barbecue Restaurant located in Fullerton. So far I came to this place twice to eat dinner with family and each time we had a delightful experience. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and can accommodate up to 50 people, with the option for outdoor seating as well. It is no surprise that this place is always bustling with customers, given the delicious food they serve. The majority of their customers are Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Middle Eastern, which speaks volumes about the authenticity of their cuisine. I highly recommend trying their Beef Bihari Boti, Signature Chicken Tikka, Garlic Naan, Chicken Malai Boti, and Signature Paratha - each dish bursting with flavor. One thing to note is that the restaurant could benefit from more frequent cleaning of their seats and tables. However, the overall price of the food is reasonable and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They use fresh ingredients and hand-slaughtered Zabiha meats to ensure the best taste for their customers. Overall, Bundoo Khan is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Pakistani barbecue. The combination of great food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere make for a truly special dining experience.
Got here at 10pm, and 30 minutes later it's still not ready... It wasn't busy and I only ordered 2 foods and a smoothie.

A nice environment extra seating front of the restaurant and back of the restaurant on a sidewalk pavement nice food good atmosphere very crowded Saturday night opens late and food is average bathroom was dirty no privacy. Lid on falouda does not fit on the cup. Falouda dropped on the shirt stain the dress shirt. I am okay with environment. Hopefully will go back soon. If you're not accepting my review please feel free to reach out and leave feedback. Hope you have fun at Bundoo Khan. Kindly, Addie Syed.
We have been going to this restaurant for a year now and loved the food but the last 2-3 visits were disappointing the service was unacceptable food ordered coming in 2-3 segments.. Tikkas were half cooked and chops were burnt! Lately the spices has gone nuts it’s too too hot and fire can’t even eat. Beef Bihari paratha rolls prices have gone up while size has become half! From 12” to now 6” and that too with 2” of paratha before you taste the meat. Unfortunately the family decided to explore other places for bbq since the service and food both has become downgraded!
Food was okay, don't believe I will come back anytime soon. Though, location seemed quite busy, so maybe there is something I am missing. Though, crowd wasn't very diverse, so maybe you just have to really like the food served here and I just haven't had much of it. Got some chicken, it was okay. It was cut in an odd way to increase flavor during marinating, but this just dried it out. Also, it was a small piece of chicken for the price paid. Green sauce was good, reddish sauce was good but had some heat. Staff were fine, though when my order was ready I had been given a pager, it beeped, I went to the pick up location and nobody helped me for about 2 minutes. This is supposed to be training, but this was annoying. Location looks nice, is very clean inside. Easy enough to get to, parking may be an issue due to CSUF being right there. Imagine location will want to feed students and staff during the week, locals on the weekends and evenings, will be interesting to see how it progresses over time. Saw a single women's restroom, men's must be somewhere in the building. Parking, seating, and counter are all accessible.
Slow service and confuse staff. Cashier cannot answer questions on food they sell or make recommendation. Our table pager went dead battery after waiting 15 minutes. We where told by cashier..no worries, order number will be called. We waited an additional 15 minutes, no food. Walked up the counter, and there is tray of food just sitting. I asked two worker at the counter, " is my order ready?. I got the deer and headlight stare. After a 30 minute wait I found the kabob salty and made with too much flour. Burger okay but plain. Could have used mayo or some kind of sauce. Naan bread very hard and tough. Highlight of our meal was the fresca drink station so many fruit choices
Really not worth going for desi people. Average kebab. And very ok ok paratha. Naan maker was broken so no idea about naan quality. The chicken leg quarter was good. But the chicken roll was less than average. They just rolled the chicken pieces in paratha and served. No chutney and mayonnaise or any veg stuff in. Not even onion and cucumber in the roll. You have to get your chutney and raita from the dispenser. There was no lime/lemon served with the food but they gave me when I asked for it. The staff was friendly. No waiting line
We ordered only two items and they were ok but very small portions and very overpriced !!! However, the restaurant atmosphere is very cold unwelcoming with black and grey colors. They just completely failed to make the place cozy and warm.- overall way too expensive for what it is.
The good- We decided to visit this place few times after it was recommended by a couple of friends. Fish, Lamb Chops and Falooda are a must try, you may not find this taste anywhere else. Items are moderately priced. The bad- Standing in a long queue just to place an order and then, finding a table is a hassle (its like fighting for a parking space). Wait times to get the actual food is long considering its a menu with finite items. If their food had not been good, this place could have failed miserably just because of their service. Opportunity- I hope their management could pay more attention to the chaotic experience they put their guests through who are paying (not free) to enjoy their food, and not fight for it.
We waited about an hour to place our order. We didn't mind because it's their soft opening. The prices we very reasonable. The portion size was good. The spices/seasoning was great. However, the food was undercooked. It was charred from the outside yet undercooked from the inside. Authentic tastes can not be replicated.
Busy lunch today on a Thursday! service takes a while and ordering is a bit confusing with the buzzers not available next to the kiosk. The Bihari boti roll was tasty! Chicken burger was okay. Pric…
Good and healthy food for reasonable price.\nClean and spacious establishment.\n \nFoods take a whileeeeeee to get to you though
Really disappointing. The beef Bihari was heavy on the salt while not being fully cooked. A couple of bites has some char from proper cooking but most of it had raw masala flavour. Then the beef kebab roll was just really bad. There was literally a pool of oil when I unwrapped the roll (to the point where I couldn’t eat most of the Puri/‘Paratha’ as they call it) and the beef seekh kebab inside were also under cooked. No charring from the bbq what so ever, might as well have steamed them. Very disappointing. The only reason I give it two stars is because the concept of the restaurant and the vibe generally was good. It’s bringing traditional desi food into a modern eatery, which I liked. But all that effort goes down the drain when the food is that disappointing. Shaadi jitni marzi achi ho, khana naee acha to Kya faida..
What happened to the portion? Chicken Tikka use to be a good size, now looks like Chicken had a Polio didn't grow up completely. Mostly desi restaurants has this rabbit when they start to grow and do amazing they start playing with quality and quantity.
I came here for lunch with my family. Mostly self service and person who took our order was rude. Only thing I liked was Garlic Naan Bread. Lamb chop was half burned and half uncooked. Malai Chicken was raw, grilled chicken without any flavour. Paratha was like rubber, really hard. Over all I was really unhappy about their food and service.
bruh. I came here and ordered one item (chicken) and it took more than 30 minutes to get. mind u there are 7 workers and only 3 customers here when i came in so idk why it took so long. the ambiance …

I have had several people tell me that they have stopped going to this restaurant because their customer service isnt good. I experienced this first hand on Saturday afternoon. Went to place a take out order, there were only a few customers ( perhaps due to Ramadan). I was the only one in the line and told the gentleman standing there that I would like to place an order. He said, use the kiosk and started walking away. I told him if he can help take it as I didnt want to make any mistakes. He started taking the order with an attitude( as if he was doing me a favor). He didnt even bother to ask me the spice level. Anyway, I placed the order and paid. The guy didnt even give me an order number neither a copy of my receipt. I waited for about 20 mins and got a text that my order is ready. Went to the front and the same guy was there. He asked me for my order number and I told him u never gave me one. He asked me what my order was and I repeated my order. He grabbed a bag and said, "this is yours". I told him if it has everything as it didn’t feel right. He said, its the complete order. I got home and unpacked the order. Surprisingly, the order was incomplete even though I was charged fully. I called the restaurant right away and customer service answered. They said, they are not able to connect me with the restaurant but can take down a message and have someone call me back. Moreover, the bread that was packed seemed to be from days ago ( was burnt and hard to chew). I explained the entire ordeal to the customer service representative, but nobody has bothered to call back until now. This shows how much they care about customer concern. The restaurant should implement customer service training so that their staff is courteous & helpful. It would also help them understand the importance of customer service ethics.
I love this restaurant specially the food, and my family gets Faluda every week but now they came up with new stealing idea where they are adding ice cream first in faluda so that it occupies some space in bottom how it shows in picture and this is nothing like always, I asked employee last time he said now it’s going to be like this. So disappointed.
They say their rolls are in parathas but they are actually in very oily puris. It be better if they just use rotis. Completely false advertising. Oh and service is non existent. UPDATE: they replied saying parathas are traditionally deep fried. Now they are lying to cover their false advertising. Just google how parathas are made traditionally and you will see that they are pan fried or shallow fried on a tawa. You are not selling paratha rolls. They are oily puri rolls. You’re giving Pakistanis a bad name with the false advertising.
I was very disappointed with my experience. The chicken they served no longer has the flavor it used to — the marination has clearly changed, and the taste is nowhere near what it once was. On top of that, not a single Pakistani staff member was present; the entire team seemed to be from other backgrounds, which took away from the authenticity of the cuisine. For a restaurant claiming to serve authentic Pakistani food, it felt more like generic barbecue that could be made anywhere. It seems like the owners are cutting costs rather than preserving the true flavor and cultural experience that customers come here for.
I recently ordered lamb chops from this restaurant, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. When I opened the box, I discovered that they had hidden a severely burned lamb chop at the bottom, clearly hoping I wouldn't notice. They didn't mention anything about the burnt chop, which felt very dishonest. It's unacceptable to serve burnt food and try to cover it up. I expected much better quality and transparency from this place. I won't be ordering from here again.
Disappointed!!! , we wanted to try this place for halwa puri (nashta) and kababs. Their puris were like paper, no taste in chole. Kababs we average and falooda was horrible. These people have hired bunch of Mexican people and trained them to make Desi food. You now imagine how it will be. I am not against hiring Mexican people but you need someone in the kitchen to monitor the quality and make sure it’s not going south. If you are looking for authentic Pakistan food then this is not that place. This place is just playing Pakistan zindabad songs and giving you that home country feel, that’s all. Super disappointing.
The service was very poor and the food was completely tasteless. The chole was so dry it was hard to even swallow. When I went back to speak with the staff, the girl in the kitchen told me, “This is how we cook it if you want, come to the back and I’ll show you.” That response was shocking and unprofessional. The dish looked unappetizing, served in cheap plastic containers, and eating it honestly felt stressful rather than enjoyable. I really regret not checking the reviews before going it’s no surprise their rating is so low.
I almost never write a bad review, but I couldn’t help myself today. We ordered beef gola kabab, beef shikh kabab, chicken gola kabab with their special parathas. Sadly, none of the kababs even came close to the authentic Pakistani taste. They completely lacked the spice and flavor we were expecting. The paratha was overly greasy, which made it hard to enjoy. We tried their shuji halwa, which was just okay, but the gazar ka halwa was a real disappointment, nowhere near the authentic gazar ka halwa! Honestly, this place isn’t even comparable to local Pakistani spots in New Jersey or Houston, let alone the restaurants in Pakistan. It feels overrated and overhyped, and to top it off, I had stomach issues all night after eating here. I won’t be returning, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone at all!! 🤢
