I have eater here many times of the years. And, like many places, there are good and not so good experiences. This experience, by far, was the beat. Service was exceptional attentive. Seating was comfortable. They have not had a good steak offering in the past, so I was pleasantly surprised to see several new selections. I opted for the 16-oz grass fed rib eye. Quite frankly, this was one of the best steaks I have ever had! It was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Awesome! I will definitely return to Silver Trumpet, and I suggest that you put this place on your dining list for 2026! Enjoy!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Silver Trumpet in Costa Mesa, and a big part of that was thanks to our exceptional waiter, Roberto. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Roberto was attentive without being intrusive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and had great recommendations that enhanced our meal. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and handled every detail with professionalism and genuine warmth. His friendly demeanor and impeccable service truly elevated our evening. Thank you, Roberto, for making our 3 Day breakfast experience so enjoyable—we will definitely be back and will ask for you again!

Five Star Restaurant! We had such a wonderful experience at Silver Trumpet! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, and the service made everything even more special. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. It's definitely one of our new favorite places in Costa Mesa. We can’t wait to return and enjoy more of what Silver Trumpet has to offer! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Ok, first off let me apologize for not taking ANY pictures. I was having too much fun but nonetheless, the man and I went on the 13th to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We started with a charcuterie board (always love those), sipped on their special cocktail (tasted almost like a Cosmo but there was another ingredient which changed the taste) it was good. We settled on their prefix menu. He had a Salad and the Skirt Steak w/Broccoli and I chose their Seafood Bisque along with the Seafood Pasta. Everything was good. The steak looked like a fillet and it was sooo tender. This is our second time here and enjoyed it again. You will not be disappointed. (sorry about no food pics and gave 3 stars for atmosphere because it was extremely loud and it takes away from the nice ambiance the restaurant has to me)

Memorable, wholesome & lovely! My boyfriend took me out for a date night here, and we absolutely loved it. The ambiance was romantic, the food was delightful, drinks were immaculate, desserts were delicious, the vibe was melodic, the service & hospitality were excellent. Convenient parking garage at the vicinity. We had an amazing bottle of red wine by the fireplace, enjoyed the mesmerizing lakeside views, it was totally dreamy! Highly recommend for lovebirds and/or celebrating your special day! Definitely a night to remember 🩷🩵🩷🩵

Beautifully adorn restaurant and bar within the Avenue of the Arts Marriott Autograph Hotel. The bar service was weak...however the main restaurant was amazing service and the food is fresh, tasty and delicious.

Wonderful any time of day restaurant. Very tasteful decor. Upscale without being stuffy or pretentious. Service was delightful. They were attentive without being obtrusive. Everyone I encountered was pleasant without being saccharine. Great quality food served in reaonably generous portions. We lived it so much we started with brunch and moved into the bar for happy hour specials. Ask for Jonathan Patience, the manager. Charming fellow who runs a great restaurant. Tell him Leonard sent you.

What a beautiful Mother's Day brunch! We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! We had a beautiful table outside that we requested a head of time overlooking the lake. The breakfast buffet was delicious. They had every breakfast food you could think of and oysters, lamb, steak, salad, crab claws, salmon, and the BEST dessert. I highly recommend coming here for Mother's Day brunch. They also had a beautiful flower display in the front where you could take pictures.

Completely Unexpected We had family travelling from Vegas to Irvine last minute, and it had been too long since we'd seen my Aunt and Uncle. I looked on Open Table and Google for the best brunch spot and came across this Jem called ‘Silver Trumpet Restaurant’! I was lucky to be able to make reservations online and select a great table that is warm and comfy for my Uncle, who was recently diagnosed with Myelofibrosis. Our family reunion was lovely and emotional, and the service we received from James, the manager, and MaryAnn our excellent server (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was outstanding! They both made us feel very welcome and took excellent care of us. So attentive and wonderful, and such a lovely circular table with a lovely window view of the lake. Priceless! Brunch was incredibly inexpensive and delicious, and the environment was festively decorated for the holidays. I adore this place and will absolutely return with family and friends! But wait there’s more! The review is not yet finished. My mother asked us to snap a photo of herself seated at the piano, which we did, but she forgot her phone on the piano as we left and didn't discover it till the evening. Thankfully, James was still around to save the day, and he found it and made sure it was safe for me to pick up the next day. I was astounded by how gorgeous the hotel lobby is when I returned the following day to pick up my moms phone at the front desk. Even the valet person was so kind to let us quickly park to get moms phone which took less than two minutes. Silver Trumpet Restaurant team deserves nothing less than five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for everything, from our family's reservation to our overall dining experience and the super fast service in the hotel! There isn't a place to spend precious times with family and enjoy wonderful food. Thank you Silver Trumpet Restaurant you’re greatly appreciated you are a hidden JEM!

I stayed here two days a couple of weeks ago and this is a highlight of the year 2023. It's a high end chain of Marriot called Avenue of the Arts with a restaurant and bar attached to it Called Silver Trumpet Restaurant. The staff here is unbelievable. You never get to to touch the doors as a guest because the staff is there to do it for you. The room service is luxury level and royal like. The rooms are well decorated and equipped. I enjoyed my stay and didn't want to leave. I will definitely be back again soon .

Every Thanksgiving fruit the last 8 years, my wife and I have had the pleasure of visiting The Silver Trumpet. The service and food is incredible. Throughout the year, the same is true, but that Thanksgiving buffet is amazing.

We stopped in for a night and were very pleased with what we found. Silver Trumpet is a beautiful restaurant with a full service bar. We ate at the bar. It was built with a lovely white onyx top that is luminous and warm. They serve a full menu with excellent cocktails! The french onion soup is hearty and perfect for a hungry tummy. I tried the Key Lime Mudpie dessert. It was amazing! It had a straight up "punch you in the face with flavour" mix of delicious lime and red current power. I loved it! If you haven't yet, you have to try this restaurant!

This place was an excellent find thanks to my friend Robyn. We went here before a show across the street. The Beet salad is so good and the staff were so nice and we even got our parking validated for the show across the street.

Very convenient location near the performing arts center in Costa Mesa. Delicious choices for both vegetarian and carnivore. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Staff was extremely helpful and made sure we were taken care of and made the show next door. Will frequent whenever we are attending any event at yhe center.

Andy runs this place with grace, she’s dancing happy welcoming guest, she made me a recommendation while I was at the bar also she helped me along with the manager to get seated even it was busy tonight , she’s funny and her hospitality was shown through out my first visit to the bar, I would just go back because of her :) Thank you Andy you made my night after a great Joss Stone concert , it was epic !!!!!!!!!

The service is on par with what you would expect, but with that service comes price. I had breakfast here. I had steak and eggs which were pricey. The portion wasn't huge, but the steak was very good as were the eggs and potatoes. The ambiance is upscale modern and is in line with the rest of the hotel. I recommend eating here if you don't mind paying a bit more for great food and service.

I didn't come for the food. I just needed a relaxing atmosphere to get some work done. I had one glass of wine, but the service? The service from everyone I encountered was amazing! GABBY(my server) was perfectly personalized, exceptionally friendly, and super attentive. GABBY even offered to turn down the music, but that wasn't necessary or expected. One could say that GABBY "exceeded expectations"! And in my book as a 20+ year service worker, that deserved a 50% tip (which is exactly what GABBY got) and I don't give those out lightly! I will return.

Amazing customer service , food is good , I had the spicy meatballs with some type of sauce, I tried their lamb chops, Belgium waffle, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. It was all good . I’ve waited to review this restaurant after coming here 3 times at least, I’ve been here for breakfast and dinner. I love the cleanliness and comfortable seating, ambiance, and most of all Head Chef Hector Zamora’s wonderful gastronomical creations. Lobster bisque soup, pasta exclusives, perfectly seared and cooked steak, and all this for a very moderate price. It’s like a secret place you didn’t know existed. Everyone is friendly and I keep coming back thanks to Chef Zamora’s dishes.

Silver Trumpet is a sparkling gem on the lake, and our recent visit was pure magic. The ambiance? Divine. The fireplace? Glorious. But the real star of the night was Michelle, who gracefully swooped in with pashminas to keep us warm when the evening chill hit—what a queen! We would love to see pashminas available year-round because you never know when you’ll want to cozy up by that gorgeous fire with friends you absolutely did not bring (like our chic pal Emily… and definitely not the dogs). The service, the views, the vibe—it’s giving luxury, it’s giving warmth, it’s giving lakeside fantasy. We’ll be back soon… possibly in a full cape.

Dined here several times during our stay at the Avenue of the Arts hotel. Servers were always friendly and waitstaff was ready to clear plates, explain menu options, etc. Very large cocktail menu so that was awesome! Mashed potato side, bacon-wrapped dates, steak, all delicious. Didn't really enjoy the lox bagel for breakfast, but the waffles and pancakes were great and came with a ton of sides.

S
Sandy Sanford

The service was GREAT, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful and cozy. This is the view from outside patio.

I am not often moved to write reviews, but a small group of us had dinner there last night and it was one of the most pleasant restaurant experiences I have had in quite some time. The food was good, and the staff was very attentive, especially when we had another person join us right as we were being served. In this climate, the outdoor space was perfect. (They do have those relatively new-fangled propane heaters, having the vertical flames, which look nice but fortunately do not produce much heat... It wasn't needed.)

J
Jillian Phippen

Upscale and full service. All food is served a la carte, but they had options for 3 course prix fixe meals. The servers were attentive and the food was excellent. The bar area was interesting and busy.

As we walked in, we were greeted immediately by the hostess. The manager James was close by and introduced himself as well. So I felt really special the moment we walked in. Our waitress (Elisabeth) was very nice and patient with us. We ordered the charred brussel sprouts, and they were very tasty. My wife ordered Rib eye, and I had top sirloin, which was cooked to perfection. Our waitress knew that we were going to a show at the Segerstrom Performing Arts and did her best to get us served and to the show in time. We had a wonderful time. Thanks to everyone

G

We had a great dinner there before a show at segerstrom. The outside patio was lovely and warm next to the fire pit. The scallops were amazing! Perfect caramelization. Our server was kind and really good. The manager for the evening made sure we had a great dinner and helped us get to segerstrom. Perfect date night--we had a really special experience.

C

This is truly a GEM. Very small venue so recommend reservations. The food is out of this world. I had the hangar steak with smashed potatoes and mini garden vegetables after a fried brussel sprouts starter. The meat (med rare) was tender and flavorful. Others had the salmon prix fixe and loved it. The desserts were divine.

Silver Trumpet at The Avenue of the Arts, Costa Mesa Hotel - where ambiance meets elegance, and our taste buds were primed for a fabulous birthday weekend celebration. Here's the scoop: LIBATIONS The Classics - Tried the Sunrise Margarita, Fig Fashioned, and Seasonal Berry Lemon Drop. Verdict? 4.5 stars. The margarita had a bit more sweetness than sour, but let's be real: it was lip-smacking good! So good, in fact, that I had to indulge in a second round. Mule Mondays - Hubby gave it a 3, but let's just say mules aren't exactly his jam. I tried a sip and rated it a solid 4. With options like premium American, London, Kentucky, Latin, or Islander, there's a little something for everyone. This mule will be making a return visit to my taste buds next time. OPENING ACTS (Appetizers) Seafood Fritto - Calamari, shrimp, sweet peppers, fries zucchini, and chipotle aioli, fried to perfection. It's a YES for me. 5 stars for this crispy, seafood bliss that had me wishing it was the main act. Highly recommend if you're a seafood lover looking to treat your senses. Overall Experience A chic, luxurious spot to celebrate a birthday weekend in style and sexy love music! From the delightful cocktails to that irresistible Seafood Fritto, Silver Trumpet hit all the right notes for us. Average Rating? 4.5 stars, and I'll gladly raise a glass to that!

I just ate here for fathers day and it was fantastic. Brian was our server and was really friendly. Service was very attentive, drinks were never empty. The crab Benedict was tasty as was the steak and eggs. Bloody Mary was nice and spicy. I would definitely come back here.

M

Had a great Dinner here. The Ambiance is nice with lots of references to “the musical arts”. I love the view of the water from their patio area. It is a marble floor and somewhat spacious. If there’s a big party in there, there isn’t much to absorb the sound and it can make it hard to hear your date across the table. All the more opportunity to study your date’s face. There’s convenient parking which gives you a short walk to the restaurant from the parking garage. They will validate parking, making it free. It’s also a short walk across the street to the theaters so you don’t need to re-park.

I've always wondered about this place and they were promoting pre-show drinks for Aladdin at the Segerstrom and they were so cute and I love cocktails so of course I had to go check it out. We stayed at the bar area but decided to at least walk around and check out the actual restaurant. It was so beautiful inside and definitely want to check out going for dinner one night. So we got the cocktail and the mocktail. Unfortunately they ran out of the genie paper cut out but the drinks still looked beautiful. The mocktail was surprisingly better than the cocktail. We enjoyed it very much. Wish it was on their permanent menu actually.

The Silver Trumpet Bar has been a consistent choice for me before attending shows at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts for several years. One of its standout features is the talented bartender, Allison, who consistently crafts signature drinks inspired by each show, adding a unique touch to the experience. The food is enjoyable and it’s a reliable option for a bite before a show!

Sat in the bar because we were too early for dinner and it was after two. Limited bar menu, but excellent quality. Lobster Mac n Cheese was awesome. Sliders were perfect. Apricot sangria was delicious. Nice wine menu.. Nicole the bartender was friendly with spectacular service. Small outdoor patio was extremely comfortable. Would go again!

The manager, James is the most accommodating person I've met in the restaurant industry to-date. He had the chef make us a meal that wasn't on the menu that was delicious. Gave me a personal tour of the restaurant. Absolutely delightful! When we stay here again next year we will definitely eat here again and hope to see James again.

A very nice bar. The drinks were wonderful. We had the Horchata Boracha and the Pearished Dragon, which was very nice and tasty. I love Horchata and a wonderful twist to a pear martini. These drinks need to always be on the menu. So many creative choices and I love that it was not the same ol same ol drink choices. Tried the grilled chicken wings with the passion fruit habanero glaze, yumm. Tasty but not too spicy :).

The Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar is located at the Avenue of the Arts Hotel in Costa Mesa, California. It's known for its upscale dining and contemporary American cuisine. The restaurant often features live music and has a stylish ambiance. It has indoor and outdoor seating. If you're in the area and looking for a dining option, you might consider checking out their menu and making a reservation is highly recommended for dinner. Lunch walk-ins are welcome.

We ate here all 6 mornings of our vacation when we stayed at the Avenue Of the Arts Hotel. You can literally walk to the restaurant in 15 seconds from the lobby. The food was good quality, and the food was also presented neatly on the dishes. the prices were not bad at all, and the portions were plenty big. Some people in my family even split meals like the breakfast burrito. All the staff was kind and friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. One of our servers (Marilu) was amazing, she has such a kind and friendly personality and would always go above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience that we could. Overall, we enjoyed this restaurant and we plan on coming back next time we stay at the hotel.

This restaurant was an unexpected surprise! We had never been here and were misled by the website referring to it as a "gastropub". Normally that would be a turnoff, but we were at Segerstrom and looking for a good place to eat after the concert. This is in the new Mariott hotel on the east side of the Concert Hall. The parking and service was outstanding! A great impression starting with the reception desk. A young lady whose name escapes me, but she's a small brunette and studying to be a pilot. Our main server was Mitch, who was very personable and helpful with the menu. He's a real gem. Our main entree was the short ribs on polenta that was amazingly tender and delicious. A nice alternative to the restaurants on Bristol. We'll definitely be back!

S
Sibin Stephen

Came here for happy hour to get some work done. It's located conveniently right below the hotel if you are staying. I got the brussel sprouts and the ahi tuna tostada's, the brussel sprouts were very yummy but a bit ok the wet side compared to a true roast. Those tostada's were on another level tho 👀

Enjoyed a glass of Prosecco and an apple crumble at the attractive, upscale bar. Bartender Mitchell was warm & friendly. Our dining experience at The Silver Trumpet prior to our show was exceptional. We received attentive and courteous service from our server, Chloe, who demonstrated a high level of professionalism and offered insightful menu recommendations that greatly enhanced our meal. For our entrees, we selected the 12 oz lobster tail and the filet mignon, both of which were expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. Accompanying the main courses, we enjoyed the charred octopus, avocado hummus, and freshly baked focaccia bread, all of which contributed to a well-rounded dining experience. Beverage-wise, I enjoyed a classic Old Fashioned, while my companion chose the berry lemon drop cocktail. We also shared two decadent desserts: s'mores cake and butter brown cake, which were both delightful. I usually don't ever leave reviews unless it's absolutely deserved and Overall, our experience at The Silver Trumpet was outstanding, marked by excellent service and superb culinary offerings. We will definitely be returning when we come back to visit!!!

The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. If you find yourself in the area, it's an absolute must-visit. The only drawback was the parking, which can be a bit pricey at $10 per hour.

I gave this place a five star because of the service that I received from Andy the waitress. She was attentive and on top of it with every customer in the restaurant. Add in the amazing DJ No Bueno (Andre Bueno) and you have a perfect evening. This cat is the man! His DJ mixes are above and beyond anything you would hear in the OC. We have found our pre-theater favorite dining experience - the food, servers, management, hostess, and absolutely outstanding and professional in every way. We both ordered the Pistachio Crusted Branzino with potatoes, bilbao chorizo, and caper sauce. There were many other delicous sounding dishes and will try them next time. The other guests were enjoying beautifully plated entrees. The hostess was very accommodating when we were a few minutes late for our reservation. Every staff person - the busboy, waitress, hostess, and manager checked in on us to ensure that we had a perfect experience. We will return for our next dinner before the theater, and we know it will be just as memorable as our first.

We discovered Silver Trumpet and will return again soon! This establishment has to be our favorite pre-theater dining experience - the food and service along with the servers, management, and hostess are absolutely professional. Our evening was just lovely and a great pre-theater meal. The Pistachio Crusted Branzino with potatoes, bilbao chorizo, and caper sauce looked so tempting we both ordered it. There were many other delicious dishes to try on our next visit. The other guests were enjoying beautifully plated entrees. Every employee earns five stars: the busboy, waitress, hostess, and manager. Everyone ensured that we had an experience to remember. We will return for our next dinner before the Concert Hall and will share the good news with all of our friends. Thank You!

Restaurante y bar bellamente decorados en el Hotel Autograph Avenue of the Arts Marriott.

We had a delightful dining experience. The culinary offerings were delectable, and our server demonstrated exceptional attentiveness without being intrusive. We were able to savor our meal without constant interruptions inquiring about our satisfaction or additional needs. This allowed us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace without feeling rushed to vacate the establishment. The ambiance was pleasant, although the cloud cover and insufficient candlelight created a slightly subdued atmosphere. We shared the Ahituna appetizer and relished the steak as our main course, which was cooked to perfection. The dessert was a divine key lime Panna cotta, striking a harmonious balance between tartness and sweetness definitely a favorite from now on!

Solid Happy Hour…¯\_(ツ)_/¯ food is good but the atmosphere is very cool, Miles Davis cool. Great spot to listen to some jazz when there’s live performances.

Beautiful location. But the restaurant was so cold with the air conditioning blasting. The meal was ok. Several hiccups but managed by staff well.

Linguine bolognese was delicious. Though their menu online shows toasted bread coming with it, I did not receive that. Just two small loaf slices. Good but not great. Maybe because it was lunch. The meat sauce was great though! Service was good and it has a nice upscale atmosphere.

I will give it another try again in the next day or two. Will be here over the next week or so.. Tonight's dinner for two with tip over $170.00 Food over salted, wine pairing above average. Service almost excellent but not quite there. I had the Rack of Lamb rare I would suggest medium rare to other folks. It was cold and tough to cut in the middle with of all of my cuts. My spouse's Salmon was over salted, but she still liked it. I was very surprised when I asked if this was wild or farm raised fish, and was told farm raised. hmmmm. Soup of the day was lobster bisque, so I ordered that. It was a different take, kind of a smoking taste to it. I would suggest trying the bacon wrapped Figs very delightful and I was pleasantly surprised. We tried a few different desserts, so far the Pear Silver Trumpet special was both of our favorites. I will rate again after a few more meals. Again the wine pairing from Appetizers going into our Entrees and ending out with our Desserts was 5 stars. I have tried other dishes after this first review and I would rate them at a 3.75 to 4.25 star rating.

I stopped in for dinner. And decided to eat at the bar. For some reason the bar chairs are very low compared to the bar and I once again felt like a little kid at the parents table with my elbows up to my ears trying to eat my food. I managed to catch the happy hour and beers were a dollar off and there were some appetizers on special. I ordered a couple of sliders in the short rib tacos. The short rib tacos were tasty and the sliders were good but the short rib tacos made me want more street tacos. Next time I come here I’ll bring a booster seat.

Breakfast was great!...especially the waffles! Absolutely delicious :) We also had dinner there one night, during our stay at the Avenue of the Arts Hotel. The food is very flavorful and fresh!

After I read many good review about this Restaurant/ Bar, I decided to give it a try for our early Valentine's Dinner, because I am traveling next week. I used to live across the street from it, so I am very familiar with the area and the Lakes Apartment. I called yesterday to make reservations, so when I arrived this evening , it was not full at all. Probably 2 party of 4 and 5 and us( two of us) Yes, the atmosphere was nice by the lake and the decor was any hotel restaurant can be. I decided to have pre fixe 3 course meal deal. The clamb chowder was not as I expected: not even1 bit of clamb, the potatoes puree, heavy cream. Two spoon that I can take. The server left my soup and gone for 20 mins. She did not come to ask how it taste or how it was. I passed my soup to my partner to try and his response was that not a clamb chowder. More like baby food. She bought out the rest of our dinner, my shrimp risotto was salty and the rice was under cooked. I was not happy and his grilled asparagus was too dried over cooked. Anyway she ( Recca) asked how the food. I said it was o.k not outstanding. He likes his scallops. 15 mins went by she returned to asked how was everything. I told her I am disappointed as the soup was not as I expected( badly) and how she disappeared on us after she brought out my soup. She said she did came back to asked ( after we eat our main course). At this point I am done dinning here. I rather write a review instead of argued with my server. At the end she took two glass of wine off my bill as making up for bad soup and over grilled asparagus. Hey, I come here for good food/ outstanding service and a great dinning experience. I know what I need to pay when I order. I don't need comp. food. Over all 3 ☆ and bad attitude server. I would be more happy at my Mc Donnald burger with a friendly smile from the cashier. Definitely , no come back from me and my partner.

The bartender was very attentive. The wines by the glass weren’t that interesting, A LOT of national brands. $24 for a glass of Prisoner? Mhew. Extra points though for the Copain rosé. The shrimp was good, the risotto had a good texture but was more soupy than creamy.

Service was great but I didn’t like the food here. I tried sea bass which was not great. My colleague tried steak and he had the same feelings.

Great patio view, good food, extremely slow service.

Very nice environment with great service. However, the quality of the food doesn't match the price. While it's not a steak house, the price of a ribeye was similar to a Fleming's but of inferior quality, both in meat and cooking temperature. The vegetarian option while decent, could have been larger for the price. I would not go again.

Came for Mothers day brunch with my family. Access is a little hidden, you need to enter through the hotel drive up and park in the structure. When we arrived it too a little while to get attended. The comment was that they were short staffed. Aside from the delayed service our food was delicious. Unfortunately they Only offered a preset menu as my girlfriend wanted to try something from the lunch menu. They made these amazing Bacon wrapped dates! Our drinks were also top notch! For what we had it was pricy but it was for a special occasion so can't complain. I would like to come again on a different occasion to dine on their regular menu. We shall see...

Looks lovely but service was not up to par. Waitress did not smile at all. Was short with us. Just overall unfriendly seemed annoyed by the questions i asked about a dish. Looked like she hated her job. I think the manager tried to be friendly but when i brought it up to his attention he excused her behavior by saying something like "maybe she doesn't like explaining the food". Ummm....she is a waitress??? Isnt that part of the job?? I will never be going back. A nice atmosphere does not make up for unpleasant staff.

Went there to celebrate 2 birthdays and while the ambiance was great... the service was okay. The food was definitely not great. My cousin got a $43 a la carte hanger steak that she didn't like & a $17 ratatouille that barely had slices of zucchini only with some marinara sauce. My sister had the scallops & was still hungry while I had the salmon but couldn't finish it because it wasn't fully cooked. Overall an okay experience but can't imagine going back.

Went for the regular brunch menu and ordered the "lobster" omelet. Flavor was ok, but they just put imitation crab on top. My husband ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was really salty and mostly well done, despite the fact he asked for medium rare. Really disappointed by the false advertising. I wouldn't bother going again.

We went for a pre-show brunch and were pretty disappointed in our overall experience. We were told a bartender wasn’t available and could only order Mimosas. I couldn’t even get a little bit of cranberry juice to add to mine. However, we observed other tables with Bloody Mary’s and other drinks. Our server was kind and efficient, but very quiet and slow. Food was not anything special and some of it was cold. There was dried avocado on a plate with no avocado, my sister’s eggs Benedict’s were overcooked, and there were very little berries on the Belgian Waffle. The table we sat and had not been fully cleaned or reset and the flower display in the middle of the table was wilting and petals were falling throughout the meal (and it smelled). The only benefit to dining here was that self-parking was included and it was a short walk to the theater. I’d rather try someplace else for the price.

C
Cai Palmiter

Ugh, where do I start? Hmm. The drinks for happy hour were meh…the tuna tartare was tasteless. Ugh. So disappointed. Hope the brunch will be different.☹️

This review is not necessarily to dissuade anyone from going there. I just want to express my experience. The food was delicious. I had a few beers with my meal and left the credit card on the bar. When the server brought my bill for signature, I assumed she ran the card… I guess I wasn’t really paying attention, I tipped and signed and started walking out… But they flagged me down and said I didn’t pay. At this point, it was probably no more than a misunderstanding, and I was happy to go back inside and pay… But what I didn’t like was the bartenders rude accusation, along with the refusal to agree my credit card was on the counter. Between us kids, I think she was doing the CYA thing. I am a bit OCD so I am 1000% sure my Marriott credit card was on the bar waiting to be used… Whether she used it or not I really didn’t know. At the time she was adamant that there was no credit card on the counter, which was completely inaccurate. She was totally supported by management which I get but from my perspective…I did nothing wrong and I will never go back because I was treated as if was intentional.

Asked for medium rare, got welldone charcoal. Most of the dishes had close to no flavor. Other food came out cold.. for $700 for 6 people not including tip. I definitely expected better. Ended up getting $100 off the bill for the inconveniences so theres that I guess. The servers were pleasant and nice.

We decided to have breakfast here as we were guests of the hotel and we were offered breakfast in leiu of points. We should have taken the points as they only give $26 credit for 2 people. We should have known the service would be horrible when we walked up to the host stand and weren't even acknowledged by the guy. He walked away and then we were seated by the manager. The guy who ignored us was also our waiter. We ordered food, which was mediocre at best. We also ordered a croissant that looked like it was taken out of a package and didnt even look like a croissant. Our waiter never asked how our meal was. He just sat the bill down at the complete opposite end of where we were sitting. He didnt leave a pen to sign either. Based on the service we received, would not return. It's sad because the atmosphere was great and it was a beautiful morning.

La Avenue of the Arts: Un Escenario de Elegancia y Cultura
