Poke Go Lafayette Reviews
Absolutely amazing people and food. I’m a sucker for seafood and this place definitely hits the spot. Honestly one of the best restaurants to be opened in Grants Pass. Never disappoints
It was a bit confusing to figure out the whole process (a 4-step “build your own bowl” deal) but they were friendly and helpful for figuring it out, and the end result is quite tasty! The large was a fair price for the amount of food you get. (Ours was double tuna and salmon with crab, brown rice, green onions, edamame, carrots, ginger, and poke sauce. Yum!)

Wasn't sure if I would like Poke, never had it before. The menu is heck of confusing. They really need to make it more intuitive. After 15 minutes of looking at the menu and talking to the staff you kind of figure it out. I watch as several people after me struggled as well, while others just walked out. I can see how the menu/ordering really frustrates the staff as well as they have to repeat it over and over and over before you understand. If you can get through the ordering ordeal the food was good and tasty. But dang, they have got to fix that menu to make it easier to understand.
Wow I can’t express how good this place was. I had hiked nearby and was ravished with hunger. Planning to get Thai, I took a risk. I ordered the large and actually ran out of rice before the sushi grade fish. Great flavors, quality food and excellent portions (especially for the price). This place is a gem and well worth the drive.
Poke Go is loved by our whole family, even our 6yo and toddler. Their food always tastes fresh, and I've been amazed by the standards of cleanliness I've observed by the staff. I highly recommend trying their ice cream macaroons, the passionfruit mango is my favorite.
Poke go has quickly become a staple for me after moving into the neighborhood. The fish tastes quality, it’s affordable for poke, and mostly importantly they are insanely consistent. Every visit is quick, calm, friendly, and really clean / by the books which makes me feel safe during the COVID situation.
Best poke in the Bay Area. Prove me wrong! I found this gem on an alternate route home from work and I now go out of my way every chance I get to get Poke Go. There is something special about it I can’t even put my finger on. Best poke I’ve ever had.
Food is fresh, staff is friendly, lots of options for a good price. I was a bit confused on how to figure out how to choose, but the staff helped me and was great. Would recommend this place. Fresh fish too.
The best poke in California !!!!!I love it
Good poke. Generous portions.
This is not a restaurant to sit, but rather a place to pick the poke to go. The selection of ingredients and food freshness is pretty good. Friendly service. Miso soup can be better, though.
great poke! also a good size
OMG, so we have a super long rehearsal day and a few of us need a lunch definitely. I'm always in the area, but I've never actually seen this cute little restaurant. There's chair outside and inside and a lovely mural inside as well. When my friend and I go there, we saw about 2 people chilling outside and no one inside. I wish I remember the name of the person who helped us but they were extremely kind and thorough in their instructions. We were given 5 pages (for 5 orders) to circle all of the items desired in each bowl. We had everyone's order written down so we began circling and once done gave all 5 to the server. She and another worker from the back VERY QUICKLY put everything together, we paid and left back to rehearsal. It was such a quick experience and the bowls were DELICIOUS!!! I cannot wait to go back.

Poke go is a go-to lunch and dinner spot when we want something healthy, inexpensive, and fast. The quality of the food is excellent and overall it is a great value.
Food is fresh and good. I wouldn't say service is good, nor is it bad. They have very little contact with you so it's not good or bad. Takes about 10 minutes for four bowls to be made with is okay. Prices can be a bit high.

Poke Go is my favorite place to eat in the East Bay. The ingredients are healthy and always fresh and tasty. I like to create my favorite deconstructed sushi. I go at least once a week!
The fish are alright but the sauce are way tooo sweet and salty, but they do have some interesting incredible like kelp noodles!
Reliable poke. Take out only. No dine in. Fish is reasonably fresh. $1.50 more for unagi or hamachi.

Clean and efficient poke bowl place. Assembly is done cafeteria style by young servers. Variety of sizes and base proteins. Hamachi is $1 more but worth additional price. I like the wasabi sauce the best — and the mushrooms. Some servers are more generous with the fish, my husband and I jockey to get the better ones although serving sizes are generally good.
Good poke just a heads up they close on random rainy days and sometimes just early call before if you wanna be sure
Service and food are good I’m just disappointed that I had to pay for an employee’s mistake. I asked for half rice/half salad in my bowl. The worker, in the name of efficiency, quickly shuffled me down the line to ask about protein options. Therefore, I didn’t see that there was no rice in my bowl. I informed them of the mistake and asked for a side of rice and was charged for it.

Everyone in group raved about meals. One word, FRESH Revision, Jan 2024, they tend to close early, 30 -45 minutes. Never answer phone to confirm they r open, very disappointed in the service. Hours posted on door indicate 9 PM close, usially they are closimg @ 7:45 pm,
The food is ok, 4 stars. The poke didn't get mix well so part of the fish chunks didn't covered in sauce. It is reasonable priced. However home girl who works the counter need to chill out. It was my first time ordering there so I was busy looking at the menu trying to understand what is available; on top of wearing masks standing far apart we might hard to understand each other. Don't be giving me an attitude, and it was just me in there! So taking out 1 star because of the service.

It's very good when it is made as requested. I've been here a dozen or so times, and have ordered twice on UberEats. Generally it is what is to be expected from a poke bowl restaurant. The biggest issue is inconsistency of how they construct their bowls. Depending on who is making it, at times they don't really listen to what you're asking for even though they are only a few feet away. It leaves you frustrated enough to let them just select whatever they want and be ok with it. Additionally, if using UberEats they don't have customization options set-up at all, so only one topping is available for selection in any category. They also don't read any specific requests utilizing UberEats either. I've tried to call the restaurant itself, but the number listed on Google is a cell phone that isn't answered. Unfortunately I likely won't continue to eat there with any consistancy because you more often than not don't get what you ask/pay for.
Inaccurate business hours on Google Maps. Store owner closed and locked the store right in front of me 15min before the posted time. Please fix this and I will update me review. Other than that the quality of food is very good.
