Our favourite restaurant in Lagos. Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. You can see your food being cooked on the open grill. We had steak and the fish of the day. Both were perfectly cooked and very tasty

Just my personal opinion but this has to be the best place for food in Lagos. The menu is simple but to food is just is cooked to perfection and they have the best sangria I have ever had. Ken is a great host and makes you feel like he has known you for years. Best advise is to book to avoid disappointment.

Lovely and cozy restaurant in the center of Lagos. The first night we went was sold out and we didn’t get a table, so if you want to go better book in advance! The food was delicious, we had garlic prawns as starter and a huge grilled sea bass (only 22 euro) as a main that was divine! At the entrance of the restaurant there is the outside BBQ and you can see the chef cooking your food. The staff is nice, helpful and always smiling. The atmosphere with ‘70 and ‘80 music playing make it the perfect place to chill after a long day at the beach. I’ll go back tomorrow before leaving Lagos!

Great atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly hospitality. Nestled in the streets of Lagos you'll find a unique cosy dining experience. We had the Lamb and we're so impressed we couldn't help booking to return the following evening for the mixed grill which was equally impressive. The Brownie for dessert was also great. Ken and the team made us feel incredibly welcome and I can't recommend Arribale highly enough.

Uriges kleines Speiselokal, das etwas abseits des Tourismus-Mainstreams ein kulinarisches Erlebnis mit traditionellem Flair bietet. Der Fisch des Tages wird direkt auf dem Holzkohlegrill im Restauranteingang gegrillt und schmeckte sensationell gut. Dazu noch ein super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service mit einer Herzlichkeit, die man nur noch selten findet. Zum Abschluss gab es noch ein Gläschen Portwein aufs Haus und eine Umarmung des Grillmeisters. :-) Ein echter Geheimtipp, den man in Lagos nicht verpassen sollte.

We sat on the patio and the food and atmosphere was lovely. One of the best meals that I’ve had in Lisbon! It’s tucked away from the busy streets with more tourists too so it’s more authentic and great value for the quality.

Es war im Arribale so gut, dass wir dort 2x waren. Der Inhaber nimmt sich Zeit für die Gäste und ist für ein Plausch zu haben. Das Essen ist wirklich klasse frisch Gegrillter Fisch oder Fleisch. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen. Aber man muss reservieren.

Amazing freshly barbecued meat and seafood, cooked on a charcoal grill in the doorway. Short menu but good options. Small rustic ‘hole in the wall’ type place definitely requires a reservation as extremely good food and very popular. It’s just a few indoor tables and a couple of small terrace tables. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids they managed to seat with a reservation. Opens at 7pm for dinner. Run by a British guy who has lived in Lagos 25 years - he can explain menu and any dietary questions. No kids menu as such but any menu option can be accommodated at half price - ours had plain chicken breast and rice and were perfectly happy. We had 2x mixed grills between 4 adults and was best bbqed meat I’ve ever had.

사장님부터 스탭들까지 모두 유쾌하고 친절한 따뜻한 가게. 숯불에서 직접 구워주는 고기랑 생선도 맛있지만 애피타이저로 시킨 감자가 왜 더 기억에 남는지ㅋㅋ 그릴 메뉴는 기본적으로 밥/감자 중 선택 가능~ 라고스에서 마지막 저녁식사였는데 좋은 기억 남기고 갑니다 :)

Wow wow wow. This was a FANTASTIC meal. Some of the best food I’ve had in all of Portugal. And the staff had great energy, great music, and awesome views. Highly recommend. The steak really surprised me, had incredible flavor. Don’t skip on the fish of the day either! We also got the garlic bread, prawns, and flaming sausage. Yum. Highly recommend and will be back!

Chegámos aqui pela pontuação que vimos que tinha, mas todo o aspecto do espaço fez-nos duvidar da qualidade, mesmo assim demos-lhe a oportunidade de sermos surpreendidos e de aproveitar a vista linda sob a marina. Um espaço antigo, com aspecto de travessa de rua, mas que tem um ambiente muito descontraído. Empregados bem dispostos, simpáticos e bastante caricatos, o dono é um amor de pessoa. Pedimos uma mista de carne, que traz entrecosto com molho barbecue caseiro (muito bom!), lombo de porco, bife do acém e peito de frango, acompanhado de batata e salada (acompanhamento um pouco fraco, mas a carne foi a rainha do prato). Uma delicia! Carnes super tenras e de qualidade. O bife do acém era maravilhoso mesmo! Havia um molho especial também feito por eles que dava um toque perfeito à carne. Como sobremesa foi um brownie com gelado que era uma delicia também. Daqueles lugares inesperados, onde se nota o amor pela cozinha e onde espero um dia voltar para provar outras coisas do menu.

We finished with a rich, gooey chocolate brownie that came with a surprise glass of port wine on the house—a perfect touch to end the meal. Can’t recommend this place enough for a relaxed, memorable evening. Call ahead to make a reservation to get a table outside.

Die Beilagen sind eher Nebensache, aber ebenfalls schmackhaft. Der Service ist super freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch die Lage überzeugt: am Rand der Altstadt gelegen, mit Blick auf den Hafen. Ruhig, idyllisch und dennoch mitten im Geschehen. Ein echtes Muss für Fleischliebhaber!

We were recommended the grilled sea bass and it was absolutely amazing. Our waiters were so friendly and happy to make sure we were ordering just the right amount. Highly recommend - we were just on a walk trying to find a place and stumbled upon this gem. Would dine here again next time we’re back in Lagos.

Fantastisch, besser, origineller geht es kaum. Ein ganz kleines Lokal mit wenigen Plätzen, daher mit Reservierung, pünktlich um 19:00 Uhr oder nach 21:00 Uhr kommen. Es gibt Fleisch und Fisch frisch gegrillt im Eingang zum 2,00 m breiten Innenhof. Auch die Bedienung ist einmalig ! Wir hatten die große Fleischplatte.

Server was kind of rude but the owner was super cool. Food was fantastic and the restaurant itself is pretty unique, super small kind of feels like it was just carved out of the wall. Lamb chop and fish of the day (which I think was Sea bass) were phenomenal.

Das Arribale ist immer wieder ein Besuch wert! Freundlicher Service und leckere Gerichte. Fleisch und Fisch werden auf dem Grill am Eingang zubereitet- eine echte Leistung in diesem kleinen Restaurant. 👍🏻

De gastheer heeft niet gelogen. Het was ons eerste etentje in Lagos en hij vertelde ons dat het niet beter zou worden dan dit. Geweldig lekker en vers eten. We hadden als voorafje het brood scampi’s en tomaat met mozzarella. Brood en scampi’s fan tas tisch! 2 namen vis en 1 had vlees. Vlees was heerlijk. De chef liet ook zien hoe mooi rood het vlees op de grill ging. De 2 soorten vis die we kregen waren ook top!! Goed gebakken en mega vers! We hadden echt heel veel gegeten hierna, de eigenaar drong toch aan om nog een brownie te bestellen, dit hebben we uiteindelijk gedaan, ook wederom geen spijt van! Echt een aanrader, zou hier zeker terug gaan!

Ottimo cibo e splendida location. Abbiamo preso una grigliata di carne ed era tutto ottimo (peccato per la quantità di salsa bbq sulle costine, era eccessiva). Scadente il servizio, si sono dimenticati di portarci il vino ad inizio cena e abbiamo dovuto chiedere due volte il cestino del pane, in più non ci hanno consentito di pagare con la carta ma hanno voluto obbligatoriamente i contanti.

因為餓了所以找了附近一家分數還不錯的餐廳，看了一下照片有看到海鮮就去了，結果到了才發現他們有一個廚師在門口有一個小區域烤肉。 本來只想要吃海鮮的我有點小失望，但是除了海鮮之外還是點了一盤烤豬肋排。 前菜上來覺得還不錯，但主菜上來時我只能說真的好吃。 烤魚跟烤豬肋排都非常的推薦。

Buen restaurante con precios muy ajustados, dado que Lagos es muy turístico, recomiendo pasar a reservar porque está siempre lleno (en agosto). La lubina a la brasa, buenísima y grande, apenas pagué 18€ por ella y podríamos haber comido dos personas. De lo mejor en Lagos.

Good and tasty food, freshly made. Authentic atmosphere in a nice surrounding near the seafront. I didn’t like the waiter that tried to be “smart” and have remarks on what we’ve order and forgot to bring our drinks until we’ve reminded him.

The food was good. The flaming chouriço was delicious, and the mixed grilled meats were good, but not amazing. It's not the restaurant's fault, but from the outside tables, we could smell the public bathroom that was close, and that ruined the meal a little. The staff was super friendly though :)

Accueil très sympa, dans un anglais parfait, salles et terrasse étaient bondés, on nous a installés dans un lieu de passage mais avec vue sur le barbecue. Arrivés tard, plus de poissons à griller. Nous avons opté pour un plat de grillades mixtes à partager. Viandes bonnes, un peu trop cuites mais surtout prix élevé pour ce qui s'apparente à un simple steak de bœuf, des ribs certes excellents. Certes il y avait le porc noir mais accompagnement faible et quantité globale limite pour 2 personnes. Je n'aurais pas mis 5 de toute manière mais pas 4 non plus en raison de la propreté de notre table et sièges et du passage.

Un ristorante con un grande potenziale che però non viene sfruttato. La ciliegina sulla torta è stato il pagamento in soli contanti, cosa nemmeno legale.

Uno de los camareros continuamente venía a nuestra mesa a hablarnos y comentarnos cuestiones sin importancia de su vida. Al final comprobamos que tenía una copa de vino escondida detrás de la puerta y no dejaba de beber. Lo otro El pago, tenía que ser en efectivo, cuestión que incluso me parece ilegal a día de hoy. Me mandan a un banco que según ellos no tenía comisión, pero a los días cuando compruebo mi cuenta si que me habían cobrado 4 euros. Esos detalles no gustan. Que el pescado estuviese bien al final es lo de menos. Las carnes nada del otro mundo, y los quesos, por mucho que el camarero nos intentase vender que era el más caro de Portugal, realmente no era asi (era un queso de Azores que ya habíamos probado con anterioridad y a un precio mas bien bajo), y los otros rulo de cabra y otros que encuentras en cualquier supermercado. En definitiva, seguro que hay sitios mucho mejores en Lagos. Mi recomendación es que vayais a otro, yo al menos así lo haré. Y lo siento mucho por comentarios asi, pero es lo que nos hicieron sentir.
