Coco Deck Lahaina Lahaina Reviews
We absolutely loved this place. We walked in with no plan at all and instantly fell in love. Kiara was an amazing server and made the whole experience so special. The loaded french fries and the watermelon salad were unreal, hands down our favorites. Enjoying all of this while sitting outside with a stunning ocean view made it even more magical. Everything about this spot was a win. We can’t wait to come back!
I don’t take the time to leave reviews much often anymore, but upon dining at Coco Deck Kitchen I knew it was the least I could do to show appreciation for the atmosphere and delicious food I enjoyed! During my vacation to Hawaii, no restaurant menu had me battling decisions on which items I would order like I did here. The menu is fantastic with fresh and local options! Moana was our server and she was amazing; Not only making us feel welcomed but her bright aura and fun personality made the dining experience all the better. From the chic restaurant decor to the friendly staff and food that makes your tastebuds dance, I would without a doubt recommend this restaurant and will likely squeeze in another visit before my vacation is over!
Love this restaurant and it's staff! Chef Alvin has instilled love and compassion into his crew as well as fine training of professional culinary service. Make sure you order the Ahi Donut topped with fresh poke. The fried fish was delicious and a good portion size. The bartender was an excellent service individual and genuinely friendly to hold a conversation with. After leaving it was almost sun setting time so I enjoyed the sunset right across the street and then simultaneously there was a full rainbow up in the sky over and behind Coco Deck! Continued good luck Alvin.
Watched the Seahawks game here and had the best time. Great atmosphere, lively but relaxed, perfect spot to enjoy a game. The food was amazing fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best we had in Maui. Drinks were great, service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe felt very local and welcoming. Perfect place for good food, sports, and a fun Lahaina night. Would absolutely come back!
We came during happy hour (2-5pm) and got fish tacos ($5.50 ea), nachos ($10) and a salad ($9)… it was just the right portion for two average sized eaters. The service and atmosphere were amazing, they hade Sunday Noght Football playing on the TVs. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit!!
We had a wonderful experience at Coco Deck on 12/22/25. Michelle, our server, was generous of spirit, charismatic, and genuinely entertaining to talk with. What stood out most was her authenticity—she shared, spontaneously and movingly, about the impact of the Maui fires, which added depth and humanity to the experience. The food and drinks were excellent. The hot sauces were delicious, the vegan sweet potato tacos were flavorful and satisfying, and the mocktails were thoughtfully crafted and refreshing. Altogether, it felt like more than just a meal—it was a warm, memorable experience grounded in great food and genuine connection.
Enjoyed our dinner at Coco Deck. Drinks are great food is great, and service from Zig was exceptional. Try the poke donut. Outside table with the ocean breeze and sound - living the Aloha vibe!
We stopped by Coco Deck Maui for happy hour and absolutely loved it! The drinks were refreshing and perfectly made, and the food was delicious — great flavors and portions. The atmosphere was relaxed and tropical, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The staff was friendly and attentive too. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to! Our waiter Mika and the bartender were caring and friendly
Our family enjoyed eating at Coco Deck. The location was perfect, right across the road from the ocean in Old Town Lahaina. Our fish tacos were excellent. We also loved the sweet potato tacos. Service was responsive and friendly. Well be back!
Amazing dinner! Was looking for places that could seat our large group last minute and they were able to fit us in. The food was SO amazing- everything that everyone ordered was perfect and the fish and chips was the best I’ve ever had (and I order fish and chips most places I go… I’m pretty picky). Fun games for the kids while we waited, amazing staff overall an excellent spot! You can’t got wrong selecting Coco Deck for dinner!!
I really loved this place. The burger my husband got as ok, nothing to amazing, also not a huge fan of cheddar on burgers. But the fries were great and my tacos were awesome. And their hot sauce, had to buy some to take back with me. Service was amazing! And the location is perfect.
OMG. The happy hour birria tacos were to die for!!! So delicious that we ordered the birria nachos even after happy hour was over. The deck was fun, right on what is still left of front street to watch a gorgeous sunset. The Mule on da Beach cocktails were fab!!
Best food in Lahaina. Drinks were wonderful. Fish tacos were amazing. Best ceasar salad with crispy brussel sprouts. Shrimp appetizer is worth coming back for a second trip. Don't skip this gem while in Maui.
An awesome spot to watch the sunset and feast on some food for those with an appetite! Definitely a fryer-first spot, so be prepared to log this as a "cheat meal," but rest assured you'll be full, satisfied, and happy - Also, do NOT skip on dessert!
We visited about two weeks ago and so glad we did. Great food, drinks and service! You won’t be disappointed. They are right on Front Street…yes…apparently the fire stopped right next to them so they were very fortunate. Local businesses in Lahaina surely appreciate everyone coming back so check it out and support them while enjoying a great time in a location right across the street from the ocean.
I love this spot so much, my husband talked this place up since he had previously been before he brought me along. It has not disappointed at all. All the bartenders are amazing and so it the restaurant manager, Alba. Shout out to Robert, Gil, Zigg, Brian and Steve for making our visits the best ones yet. Drinks are excellent especially the ones on HH, margaritas always hit. HH is everyday from 2-5 $5 margs cannot be beat. This is my new Maui hot spot, highly recommend.
My wife and I had our first dining experience at Coco Deck this evening. It was a wonderful experience - our server Mica was terrific - engaging and personable, as well as being knowledgeable about the menu in helping to guide us in our selections. She was a delight! We started with the Poke Donut and Garlic Shrimp and had the fish tacos and Caesar Brussels salad. Best items were the shrimp and fish tacos, but my wife very much enjoyed her salad. The donut is a unique dish, but the donut was a bit dense and there could have been more tuna on the dish. Overall we had a great evening and recommend Coco Deck!
The Margarita (watermelon reposado and tajin)was great but small. The chicken sando was overly battered and fat not trimmed and they say ceviche had avo but hard to find it in there. I liked it my husband did not. We were excited to order the crusted mahi and it was so fishy we sent it back. The waitress Moana was a doll! She rocked and the manager and hostess were great too. Great location.
Went here for dinner with the wife and friends for our last night in Maui. The experience wasn't so bad. The service could've been better. Our waitress was mostly preoccupied with other guests which drew away a lot from us. I ordered the birria ramen with tacos and bone marrow on top. The tacos were okay, but the marrow was delicious! The ramen didn't have much texture and was bland. The birria just tasted like spaghetti-os sauce. The only redeeming thing we're the oyster shots. The pricing for everything was set too high. The soda I ordered was too flat and overpriced. They didn't even mention there was a dollar refill fee. Not sure if I'd be returning.
The place is super cute and has a very beach vibe to it. The menu is also clear to read and there are many drink options, both alcoholic and non. The owner/manager is also very friendly and checks in on guests. However, our server, though nice, wasn’t very attentive. She also failed to mention that there was no ranch, only some other version of it. After ordering I felt I had to say what I wanted 3 times for her to get the order correct. It’s just not what you expect from a well-reputed and pricy restaurant. The nachos also weren’t automatically the happy hour ones, despite it being happy hour - those need to be ordered separate and are apparently a smaller portion so it doesn’t seem to be much of a special! The actual food was okay. I got a smash burger and it didn’t taste like much of anything. To me, the burger just tasted like greasy pickles and bread. The funky fries are fun, but very greasy. My sister had the birria ramen, it tasted just like oil and noodles to me personally. She had to add a ton of salt and even then it just didn’t hit the mark. We also had the spicy chicken but it wasn’t spicy at all. The fish was enjoyed, however and was pretty good. Considering the price and high reviews, this place was honestly not good. The food was quite bland and the prices are extremely high for the type of food. I would skip this place and try somewhere else.
