Excellent buffet breakfast. Exceptional service from Chef Marq concerning a gluten allergy for one in our party. Character interactions were top notch! Great Gingerbread Martini.

Park Fair is superb! The new characters are so identical to the actual ones and they really have their personalities matched. It was impressive! My mom and I enjoyed them and the food was all delicious. We kept on eating. Desert was also fantastic and unique, so make sure to save room! There’s a special magical wish finale at the end of your dining experience. Family of all ages will enjoy this! This is more than a dinner, it’s a magic maker. Definitely a destination spot for the books if you love buffets and character meet and greets!

i joined a character dinner with buffet and it was a great evening. the food tasted very good, it looked mainstream but it was excellent. the character and wish ceremony was a great experience and the perfect ending for my disney day at magic kingdom. it's a great place for having a character breakfast or dinner. i'll definitely come back next time ... and hopefully my wish will come true.

The restaurant is beautiful with paintings of the Princesses and Princes all around the room. Breakfast buffet style and very good, plenty of variety. We got to Meet Aladdin, Tiana, Mirabel and Cinderella. One of the best character meals in the resorts.

Fantastic meal. I ate probably three plates worth at breakfast, sampling as much as I could fit from the vast buffets. I went for the food, but there were also four characters that came through and stopped by for a photo and to say hello with each table. If you're traveling with small children, I'd probably advise them in advance how the characters will make their way around as it may seem like a long wait to the littles. Staff was very attentive with refilling my juice - I don't think it got below half before it was topped off. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful. The decor isn't anything crazy; it's more subtle than some Disney restaurants, but I liked that. If you're an adult traveling without children, definitely be advised that most of your table neighbors will have kids, so keep that in mind if that vibe is/isn't for you. It is more pricey than your regular breakfast option, but the experience makes it a fun treat meal.

We had a character dinner that was just amazing. Highly recommend going. The fireworks started just about the time we were done eating. We were able to enjoy them from the courtyard outside.

This was my first time going as an adult with my daughter. There had been some angry rants about the new menu, characters lost, etc so I was nervous but it was awesome. Everything is so pretty, from the check-in area to the murals all over the room. We had a really nice table on the end (half booth, half chairs) and it made it really easy for my daughter to get up and hang out with the characters. She even got to twirl with Cinderella and it was adorable. I’d recommend something like this if you can because the tables in the middle and even some of the round tables in back are kind of tight. The characters were all great except Aladdin. He was at and gone from our table in less than 90 seconds. Didn’t really try to engage too much with our daughter. I get it’s hard to compete against princesses but at least give it a go. Cinderella and Mirabel were fantastic. So engaging. We thought the food was great and we’re not breakfast people. Sliced salmon for bagel sandwiches, a carving station, eggs Benedict, and an incredibly good breakfast pizza. Which I think is meant for kids but I follow my own rules. The strawberry soup is amazing. We also loved the cheesy breakfast potatoes and vegetable hash. The sauce that comes with the hash is amazing. And our daughter loved the watermelon slices haha she nibbled one Mickey waffle at least Breakfast cocktails very good. Great staff. Just an all around lovely breakfast.

Best character meal on property. I love the interaction of the character with guest. The stepmother is a hoot!

Dinner here was way better than the breakfast experience we had at the same place. She met prince charming, Cinderella, the ugly stepsisters, and stepmother. All we're a super engaging and we loved it!

This was the first time we had been here in about ten years, previous to this it was in the other room at the Floridian. I will say that overall, it was a great experience! The food was really good - not the cheap buffet food you find at some restaurants. We found everything to be really tasty and nice. The characters come around to the table and the costumes were really cute. The decor of the restaurant was also very nice. The only thing I would suggest is they mention something about a "wishing ceremony" but didn't give us the times of that so we were a little confused as to what was happening there but other than that, we would go back for a nice dinner/character experience for sure!

The best character dining experience. The characters were so attentive. My daughter had the most amazing time for her fourth birthday. The food selections were also tasty.

The dining room looked incredible. It had stunning paintings of disney characters surrounding the walls. The characters were friendly and fun. The food was excellent despite being a buffet. It is expensive but that comes with being at Disney. Take your kids here, no matter what age the whole family will enjoy (even our teen).

Doug likely doesn't remember us, but he has been our waiter the last two times we have been to Disney World and eaten at 1900 Park Fare. He is so attentive and warm that you will feel like his only table regardless of how busy the restaurant is. The manager, whose name I did not catch, did all she could to ensure guests got to meet not only the Tremaines, but also Cinderella and Prince Charming. The experience of 1900 Park Fare is hard to beat. As for the food, it is superb. There are many options, and each is delicious and made to impress. Last time I was the, I felt the ratatouille was the stand out dish; this time it was the honey sriracha salmon. Also, if you have kiddos who want to try one of *every* dessert, like mine, at 1900PF, that's not an issue because all the desserts are made to be bite size, which was a huge stress reliever for me. Regardless of the particular selection during your visit you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful restaurant inside the Grand Floridian Resort. Fresh omelette station and a great breakfast buffet. Characters here were Alice, the hatter, pooh, tigger, and Mary Poppins. All different time at each table, doing pictures and autographs and interactions.

Had a fantastic buffet breakfast here last week. The atmosphere and the food were as expected from a character buffet at Disney. I had a wide assortment of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, French toast, Mickey waffles and so much more... the pancakes and French toast stood out here. Absolutely enjoyed them a lot. As far as the characters go, you get to see Winnie the Pooh, Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter. After your done eating, Tigger is set up at the back to take a full picture with your family... if your looking for a character breakfast, 1900 Park lives up to a good one...

Now this breakfast was absolutely delightful and delicious!! Character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at the Floridian is LOVELY! The hotel itself is a jaw dropping, charming, and grand! The staff was very nice and charters at breakfast were on POINT! Mary Poppins, Alice, and the mad hatter were all chattering away when they got to our table :-) The food at the buffet was probably one of the best breakfasts I had while I was there! I would highly recommend this!

Anytime we do character dining we absolutely love it as much as the kids..but a couple weeks ago we visited 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. There was 2 adults, a 1yr old, 2 yr old & 4 yr old. Immediately we loved the whole look of the restaurant! Very classic, turn of the Century-with carousel horses like from Mary Poppins. But when it came time to head to the buffet- OMG! There was so much variety & it was all delicious!! There was not one thing I tried that I didn't like. The kids felt the same way! Other then the famous Mickey waffles that the kids love- they had red velvet pancakes with cream cheese icing, breakfast bread pudding, meats galore, the bacon alone was magnificent, pastries, omletes...just soo much. And as we sat to enjoy all this amazing food- the characters came by! They were all so great! Always great interaction but Tigger & Mad Hatter were the BEST! Kids loved Hatter! 🌟Breakfast will usually have Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, Pooh amd Mary Poppins!!🌟 So if you are thinking of trying it or are looking for a character breakfast- try The Supercalafragalistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare! *Also, it's one of the most moderately priced character breakfasts on property!

A great place to eat. We went for the breakfast buffet and they have a good selection whether you want something a little bit more savory or something on the lighter side. They also have a few sweet options including their strawberry soup. There are cast members playing in character going around the dining room to treat all the kids. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.

Just a very nice buffet with great staff willing to go above and beyond. My wife wanted an omlette with feta cheese and although they don’t normally offer that the server went out of her way to get it done for us. The characters visit every table and are spot on and do a great job. The food was good for a buffet.

C

Beautiful place, awesome service and as always amazing cast members attention. Characters were super nice and the food is also tasty. The only improvement opportunity is in the food options, it would be nice to have more options in the buffet.

We recently went to the breakfast to check out the new characters and refurbishment. The decor is fresh and modern - the portraits of wishers are beautiful. The food is just as good as I remembered a few years ago - particularly the strawberry soup! The new character interactions were top notch!

Absolutely amazing dinner. My daughter was swoon over Cinderella and each character spent a good amount of time and personalized experience at our table. Food was delicious and a wide variety. The Mongolian beef was my favorite. Service was quick and friendly. The strawberry lemonade was great and my husband enjoyed the blue glowtini. Would definitely recommend this character dinner, as it won't be our last time there.

Excellent food. Excellent characters. Excellent service. 5+ stars. Very Grand hotel. Characters are funny. They do what they did in the movie. After the dinner, you can go outside to watch the Magic Kingdom firework. Our family spent 1 magic night in that resturant.

Friendly staff all around and the characters seem to jump right off the screen. They are perfectly in character! Worth every penny to see the happiness on our granddaughter’s face!

Had a fantastic experience at both breakfast and dinner. Loved the variety of characters, the lovely character attendants were on top of making sure that every table interacted with them. I see people complain about the buffet being too small, but you can easily fill 3 plates of food with the selection they have. The prime rib was my favorite from dinner, but there are plenty of standout options. The wishing ceremony is also adorable and fun for the whole family to participate in. Although breakfast is cheaper, their dinner buffet is one of the best I have tried at Disney World and certainly worth every penny.

A fantastic experience on every level. The food was very good and plentiful. The characters are excellent and outgoing. Some of our favorite dishes were the white cheddar mac and cheese and strawberry soup. We enjoyed all of the offerings honestly.

We had an absolutely magical experience at 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food options were delicious—there was truly something for everyone, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes that were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was exceptional. Every cast member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. We were traveling with a family member who has severe food allergies, and we were so impressed by the care and attention given to make sure they were safe and well taken care of. The chef personally came to our table, offered clear guidance, and even prepared a special plate to ensure there were no concerns. It gave us such peace of mind and allowed everyone to enjoy the meal fully. Of course, the character dining experience was the highlight for the kids (and adults!). The characters were engaging, full of personality, and spent meaningful time at each table. The attention to detail, from the theming to the character interactions, made the entire experience feel truly magical. We can’t wait to come back again—1900 Park Fare is Disney dining at its finest!

Oh where do I start, food was delicious absolutely yummy and variety but not overwhelming like cruise food. Throughout our entire time we had big smile on our face all the Disney prince and princesses were smooth in talking cuz we are kinda awkward type lol. Will visit again not just for food but also atmosphere

We came for breakfast while visiting Disneyworld and had an absolutely magical experience. There were four characters that came around during our time, and the staff made sure every table got a visit from each character. Our kids were so happy to meet some of their favorite characters, it really made them feel special. All the food at the breakfast buffet was great - one of our party had several food allergies and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate them, coming out to the table to help make a meal they could eat. A great way to start the day for a Disney trip, and a must do if coming with kids.

We had such a great experience. The characters took their time and made our child feel like the only one in the room. They helped make the experience super special. The food was great. Lots of delicious options for kids and grown ups. The strawberry soup was yummy and the POG juice is the must. Our waitress never let our cups run empty and was super helpful.

10 stars... seriously!!! This was a First time here for my daughters... I have been to Disney world 7 or so times. Never had a character dining experience...but this was fantastic!!! This experience made the trip!! The smiles on my girls faces and they talked about it every day of the trip... Makes my heart warm. We had a reservation and the app worked flawlessly. We got checked in and then headed to the host station. Seated quick and greeted quickly with a smile from Roger (Made the experience more magical really) He informed us about how the menu items work and took our drink order - I ordered a Bellini - so cheers- that was a great thirst quencher. Eggs, mickey pancakes, sausage, Mickey waffles, a fresh fruit platter, donuts/sweet rolls, cheesy potatoes, bacon, brisket, yogurt w granola. .. the brownie french toast was over the top!!!!. And because we had just celebrated our anniversary we got alcohol free frozen drinks and a couples cupcakes.... Yummo. I left full as my stomach allowed. The kitchen did a fantastic job! We understood the rules of safe distance and the character dining experience. Thankfully Roger kept our drinks on full and our platters filled as we ordered it. Our next trip to Disney we will do this again!!! Staff seemed to work well together and seemed happy so kudos to them for a job done well. This was well worth the premium price! Walt Disney World does a marvelous job of keep it the most magical place on earth! Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

An excellent breakfast buffet. Multiple characters walking around, to include Mary Poppins, Alice of Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger. We had a reservation for 11:20 am, and we were seated about 15 minutes later. Beverages were ordered and delivered within minutes. Extremely attentive staff, every detail was looked after. While the cost was expensive, it was no more so then many other Disney meals. A family of 5 ate for about $170, though we were on the meal plan and weren’t worried about the cost. Next time we go to Disney, we will return.

Perfect Buffett with character interaction: Cinderella, Tiana, encanto‘s Maribel. Absolutely lovely: we came for breakfast and it was soooo good. Some drinks included. The customer service was above and beyond. Make sure to make a reservation in the Disney app. One of my favorite things was the vanilla sauce for the bread pudding mmmmm and the pogo juice!!!! 1900 park fare is Located in the grand Floridian so you can only enter the resort grounds with valid reservation.

What an amazing experience!!! First of all, the hotel where this restaurant is located is absolutely magical. It’s very high end & beautiful. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and got seated right away even though it was PACKED with people waiting. My party of 7 received coffee and mad hatter juice as soon as we were seated. Our server was super attentive & checked up on us regularly. The food was to die for, WOW!! The options were endless and everything I ate, I liked. From Mickey waffles to eggs Benedict , everything was cooked to perfection. There was so much variety, I had to come back for seconds! The characters were plentiful as well. Every 10 minutes, we had a new character at our table. It was mary Poppins, Pooh bear, piglet, mad hatter and goofy all the way at the end of the restaurant; which by the way there is a cast member who takes photos of you & your family for the photo pass. For $30 per person, I’d say this experience was well worth it . I would most DEFINITELY come back!

Incredible experience. We went for our 1 year olds first birthday and seeing her face light up when “Mirabel” stopped by the table will Never leave my mind. As with the rest of Disney it’s definitely a little pricey but the experience is well worth the money. We were able to meet Mirabel, Aladdin, Tiana and Cinderella! My daughter absolutely adores Tiana and Mirabel and the actresses did not disappoint they spent several minutes with our little one, signed her book, took multiple photos, wished her their own unique happy birthday in character. The buffet was exceptional, staff was helpful and courteous. Highly recommend!!

Reservation process went smoothly. We were seated quickly and all the characters greeted us and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted. The cat members made sure we got a bit of pixie dust for the birthday we were celebrating. We were a party of 4 adults but still felt like it was a worthwhile experience

A

We were pleasantly surprised as we had read some mixed reviews. It was beautiful, being in the grand Floridian. The buffet had a wide variety of options. The prime rib was excellent. We knew we would see Mirabel but were pleasantly surprised to see many other princesses, and Aladdin. Great pics. This was our favorite character experience. We went on 4 during our recent trip.

On my Disney vacation, my family did Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, Cape May Cafe, and 1900 Park Fare character dining; by far the best was 1900 Park Fare. The food was so delicious and the character interactions, while shorter than the other character was interactions with the other restaurants, were still very good. We will be back on future trips for sure. Pro-tip: get the mashed potatoes even if you don’t typically like mashed potatoes.

Located at 1st floor of the luxurious Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, 1900 Park Fare is a character dining buffet restaurant that recently reopened on April 10, 2024 after being closed since 2020. This restaurant offers both breakfast and dinner with Disney's characters interactions, making it a delightful experience for families and Disney fans. **Pricing (as of July 2024):** - **Breakfast (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM):** $54 for adults / $34 for children - **Dinner (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM):** $66 for adults / $41 for children The characters at 1900 Park Fare are a bit different from those you might see elsewhere, featuring Aladdin, Mirabel, Princess Tiana, and Cinderella. We made our dinner reservation at 4:20 PM exactly 60 days in advance. By the day of, the app was already showing that the walk-up list was full and unavailable to join the line in person. This restaurant is great for families, but for small party like 2 of us would be arranged to be seated in the area sectioned off by three square columns. This area only has two tables either for party of 1 or 2 which we were fine with it because we were literally sitting in the center of the restaurant and could see the whole dining area. When we were seated, the server gave us a postcard and a pencil to write down a wish. During the dining, four characters gathered for interaction with all the guests, and if you've written down a wish to interact with a specific character, they would try to make it come true when they reached your table. For example, a princess might take your child on a little walk around the dining area. One thing we noticed was that while the characters did move around the restaurant frequently, they only stopped at each table ONCE for interaction and taking photos together --unlike in other character dining experiences where characters would come back multiple times for interactions. **Food:** The food was overall decent, though the selection wasn't extensive enough if it charges that much. The dessert options, however, were plentiful and mostly delicious. One standout was the Strawberry Soup--definitely worth trying! After we were stuffed, we took a stroll around the hotel to explore more. The hotel is conveniently connected to Magic Kingdom by the monorail, which drops you off on the second floor of the hotel, just a short walk to the restaurant on the first floor. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I recommend it to anyone who especially loves these characters!

D
Denny Ulpierre

I would say the restaurant is overall a positive experience, It is on the first floor in the Grand Floridian Hotel, The restaurant is a meet and greet restaurant, several characters such as Cinderella and Aladdin will visit your table, with a photo opportunity available with each character, They make sure that all characters pass by your table at least once. The service is also great, the server is attentive, and you will not be waiting long to have your plates removed (It is a buffet). The one downside is that for $70 per person, The buffet is not very impressive, It is a fairly small buffet and the selection is not particularly large, overall it is probably overpriced when considering what you get for your money, I am referring specifically to the food. Overall this is a 4 star restaurant, with the only downside being the quality of the food.

P
Paul Beyer

Loved the experience, don’t make reservations for 8:10pm. They ran out of food and started serving black and blue prime rib. Too rare for my stomach. Mashed potatoes and aujus were my favorite part. Special Mickey Mouse Cake for birthday’s is the best and coolest add on you can buy for that special someone. Must mention while checking in to get it.

Character buffet dinner with grand kids. Pretty good food great atmosphere. From louisiana gumbo wouldn’t meet our standards. Prime rib was really good. Grand kids loved the experience. Mash potatoes yummy. Salmon was good. Always great visiting the Floridian.

First time at 1900 Park Fare. Got sat immediately and almost instantly greeted by Tigger. All four characters (Mary Poppins, Tigger, Alice, & The Mad Hatter) were very interactive and came around at least twice, spending a few minutes with us. As for the food, it was pretty standard, but of course very good and a wide breakfast selection for the kiddos. Overall a great experience abs will definitely be coming back when my son is a little older. Sorry, no Mad Hatter for us :( BUT he was very interactive and funny with other tables.

S
Sarah Phillips

The experience was wonderful. We went for dinner with Cinderella and her crew. The food was so so, ambiance was so so, price was crazy high, but it was all worth it for the kids to have the character interactions. They were awesome! We would do it again for sure.

S
Stephen Meyer

Food was delicious very nice spread. However 3/4 of the characters had stopped by before we even got up to get our food. Felt very rushed on that aspect. And then waited until 20 mins after our meal for Tiana to make an appearance.

B
Brian Cote

Great character dinner. Step sisters rock. If your kids want to feel like royalty, this is the place to go. Take the monorail from the magic kingdom, and enjoy a great meal. Best way to get princess autographs with out having to wait in line. They come to you when your are eating.

B
Bob Abell

The interaction with the characters is what makes this meal worth going to. The food is average buffet fair. Be prepared to really joke around with the mean step sisters, they love attention. Make sure you know their names. If your party has a young male he can bring a ring and propose to one of the sisters, watch out for lots of lipstick.

M
Michael Garlobo

Standard Disney hotel decor, food and service. 4 Disney characters were on hand going around tables interacting with guests.

D

Better than your average buffet, but nothing to go crazy about. Meeting the characters is what made it the most enjoyable. I do feel it was a bit pricey for what you get. Almost $200 before tip with 2 adults and 2 kids that didn't eat much at the buffet made it feel over priced. Besides my slight grumble in that regard it was a pleasant time.

We had a good experience dining at 1900 Park Fare. The restaurant and characters are themed around making a wish. The characters were good and took the time to visit each table once. The food was mostly good and served via a buffet. My only disappointment was the prime rib which was a bit dry and overcooked. Overall I wouldn't say anything in particular was outstanding, but it certainly wasn't disappointing either.

This is one of those Disney buffets where you are paying for the character interactions. I’ve been to both breakfast and dinner. I prefer their breakfast. It’s slightly better than other breakfast buffets in my opinion. Tiana, Mirabel, Cinderella, and Aladdin take the time to make their time with you special. They serve Pog juice which is always a win for me.

Every trip we usually do a couple of the character meals. Since my youngest is still somewhat interested in meeting and getting her book signed by the many Disney characters available around the parks and resorts, we chose dinner at 1900 Parke Fare. It's located on the main floor of the Disney Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. You can travel to the Grand Floridian by either the bus, boat, or monorail. 1900 Parke Fare was just recently remodeled and reopened in April of 2024 after being closed for a couple of years. This restaurant appears pretty upscale, a fitting place since it's located within the Grand Floridian. The theme is early 20th century. The interior is nice, and the decorations are pretty cool. There are many "paintings" hanging around of scenes from many of your favorite Disney movies. Dinner here is a buffet of American type foods. It's a typical buffet, nothing too special except for a couple of specialties. There is a salad bar, side dish bar, meat station, and many desserts. In my mind, the standouts were the prime rib, Tiana’s Gumbo with Spicy Andouille Sausage, and the Strawberry Soup. The food is ok. It's not bad, but it doesn't make me feel like it's a place that I just have to go back there next time. Once seated, the server really only brings you drinks. I can tell you that drinks take a very long time to make it to your table. We were on our second trip to the buffet before our drink orders arrived. These were just soft drinks too, these were not ordered from the bar. Aladdin, Mirabel, Princess Tiana, and Cinderella are the normal characters walking around to meet everyone. I can say that within being seated thirty minutes, we had met all four. That was nice, not having to wait too long to have met, taken pictures, and receive autographs from everyone. You are given a postcard when seated to write down your wishes. Then the characters' special ceremony where they hopefully help your wishes come true. The price for us in October of 2024 was somewhere around $44 per child and $69 per adult. It's kind of expensive for the food you are served, but you are paying for the experience. Reservations are not required, but they are recommended if you really want to experience this dinner and the character meets. I would not risk walking up and trying to get in without one, especially if you are there during peak season. My daughter really had a good time here meeting the characters and participating in the wish ceremony. The overall experience was good. The restaurant is very nice and the atmosphere is authentic. Service was a bit lacking, and the food was nothing special. It was something to experience once, but I do not believe this will be a part of our next trip.

The first time I went here, and I have to say it was not something I was expecting. The food was generic, nothing really "tasty". The only thing that had quality was their Strawberry Soup. Other than that, nothing seeemed "Wow!". Being a buffet style, the food is placed and sits...ideally need to get the food when it is being freshly placed on the line. The Characters interactions were wonderful, they made sure to make you feel like they engaged with you. However, for the price, I would not return.

Character meet is the only good thing here. Food is bad compare to the food court where we were staying at. Yes the food at the cafeteria at the hotel is better. Would not come back here unless I am desperate to see Aladdin again.

You can no longer park in the Grand Floridian parking lot. Instead, they make you park about a 1/4 mile away in their employee lot. This is the first time we've been there when every table was not full. Not surprising since the only delicious thing on their buffet is the strawberry soup. Carved ham was super dry, bread pudding was nothing but cinnamon and almost inedible, Mickey waffles were hard. They now only have 4 characters that kids get to see 1 time for less than 1 minute each. Will absolutely not be going back for the price they charge now for this sub-par version.

The food, decor, atmosphere, and characters were all impressive. Our waiter was absolutely horrible. We ordered alcoholic beverages as they came with the dining plan and sodas. The sodas never arrived despite us having been there for 1.5 hours and being told twice they were on the way. We asked for a cup to take my daughter’s lemonade in and that also did not arrive. When our waiter received a sub par tip, after waiting 30 minutes for our check, for his lack of service he made sure to announce the cost of our meal and the tip loud enough for our neighboring tables to hear. I was too angry to ask for a manager. I refuse to tip more than 10% for a buffet meal where our server didn’t even do their job.

Fun Dining! Nice, spectacular character dining. Food selection are better than others. The location is beautiful. A bit disappointed - hence the 3 stars awarded. Our waitress was not very attentive. Plates were piled up on our table, my kids were thirsty - juice refill was missing. When our waitress did show up, I asked where was Alice, since she told us she was there. The response that she gave us: "After you pay me, you can see her at the back." Lol, thought it was funny how she said it with a tone as if we can't pay. Anywho, I spoke to the manager & miraculously, she became really attentive to the point that she became annoying. I guess we get what we wished for. Time: Breakfast Characters we met: Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Piglet & Mary Poppins

Well, I really don't know what I was expecting... The food is maybe comparable to an Applebees. For $70 and $40 (for my child), I was expecting either AMAZING food or AMAZING service and optimistically hoped for both. And in my case, I got neither. The whole staff was rude -- meeting the characters didn't at all seem special. It was my daughter's 4th birthday and it seemed like a huge burden to them that I asked if Cinderella would come around a second time. Thankfully, my daughter is only 4, so she still enjoyed it which is why I'm giving 3 stars. Wasn't really expecting extra time with the characters, but just an honest interaction where they actually seemed like they wanted to be talking to my daughter.

We visited again after 8 years. It felt far more rushed and a limited choice (we did breakfast). Food itself was fine, service good. We had to wait almost half an hour after finishing to meet the characters.

The character experience was great, but I got sucked into from the buffet breakfast food and had a tummy ache all day after that. We ate there on Friday 2/21/25. I was feeling better by the end of the next day, but I ran into another Disney guest who said she had the same experience! I do not recommend buffets at Disney world. I am very good about hand sanitation so it wasn’t that.

Just spent $250 on breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children for food that tasted like public school cafeteria food. The food itself was super low quality and served in a very unappealing manner. For the prices they are charging I would expect high quality, even farm to table ingredients. This was just gross. The service was fine and the staff was cheerful. The characters were what you would expect. The ambience and decor in this restaurant was like a cafeteria on a cruise, depressing and drab. Nothing about this high end experience was in fact high end. The staff did everything they could do make us feel welcome and special so this isn’t a knock on employees - it’s a knock on good quality and restaurant ambience. Highly disappointing experience!

For the price to food is not that great. The gumbo was good. The prime rib was overcooked. Just not the selection I thought it was going to be.

Characters host a wishing ceremony once an hour, which is rare, but the food is mediocre for the price.

Thanks to the staff for making the best of an unfortunate situation with a cast member. Food was really good and the characters were fun!

Arrived 10 mins early to find they were running 30 mins behind reservation time. Once inside, we were ushered to a room all the way in the back of an extremely crowded room. Loud and filled to the brim. The buffet itself consisted of basic breakfast foods done poorly; almost everything was overcooked and dry. Biscuits were inedible. Mickey waffles were out for several minutes. The characters were nice but we couldn’t hear a single word spoken by Tiana or Cinderella. Room is just way too loud for any conducive conversation. The real issue here was the service. We ordered omelettes when we sat down. These arrived over 30 mins later, after we had eaten from the buffet. We didn’t see our server for long periods of time. We had to ask for water. We had to get up to find a server and ask for condiments. And then at the end of it all gratuity is already included so no say there. Overall absolutely not up to Disney standards that you see in the parks. Not worth your money and easily skippable.

The food was way better than I thought. The characters were all VERY nice and made sure that they didn’t leave anyone out. My complaint is for my waitress. She was great all the way until I gave her my card to pay for the meal. As soon as she processed my payment she completely changed. While we were finishing our dessert, someone came around with a clipboard asking if we met all the characters, had a good experience or needed anything. My son asked for a refill (we asked the waitress earlier by the way). The woman with the clipboard ASKED if he wanted it to go. He said yes. So we all asked if we could get one to go. She said absolutely and told us she would let our waitress know. The waitress eventually came and threw the cups on the table and walked away. There was nothing to pour in the cups. Which is why a refill was asked. We were in disbelief and when the woman with the clipboard came back we explained that we were just given cups. The waitress came back around with 2 refills, a half smile and walked away. There were 4 people at the table. I left a 20% tip anyway and I wish I hadn’t. The next night we went to Chef Mickey and our experience was MUCH better. Despite everything else, a terrible waitress will always ruin the experience. I don’t remember her name but she was an older woman from a City that starts with O in NY.

As locals who dine at Disney restaurants often, we were excited to try 1900 Park Fare for a special evening. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had. We were directed to park in a lot across the street from the resort—despite our reservation. For guests with mobility issues, this added unnecessary stress. More importantly, the policy wasn’t mentioned during booking. That kind of oversight sets the wrong tone before you even enter. Inside, the atmosphere was loud—not cheerful chaos, but a clattering din from cast members hurriedly stacking and restocking dishes with no regard for the dining experience. It didn’t feel magical. It felt industrial. As for the food… well, how telling is it that I can barely remember what was on the buffet? Aside from the strawberry soup (delicious) and a decent piece of salmon, nothing stood out. There were some peel-and-eat shrimp and buttered corn—simple items that stood out only because the rest was so forgettable. Not bad, just blah. Certainly not what I’d expect for $69 per adult. This isn’t just about price—it’s about value, and the restaurant felt more cafeteria than culinary. Service and character interactions also felt rushed—not due to any lack of kindness from the cast members themselves, who were doing their best and were excellent actors—but because the restaurant is simply too large and crowded. It all felt like a blur. There are far better options outside the parks: Storybook Dining at Artist Point, Boma, and ‘Ohana all offer better food, better atmosphere, and better value—along with genuine hospitality and ease of access. Each made us feel welcomed. 1900 Park Fare did not. The one highlight: Ryan, a cast member who handled our concerns about parking with empathy and professionalism. His kindness stood out in an otherwise forgettable evening.

To start, the dining area in the back of the restaurant smells worse than a locker room to the point it was so offensive that I asked the hostess to seat us in the main dining area. Food was below expectations as I was looking forward to their prime rib roast. It was too salty along with all the other sides. I think they added extra salt to cover up for the lack of flavor in just about all the sides I tried: mashed potatoes, carrots, corn and the au jus. Because the food was very salty I had to go back to my hotel room to brush my teeth immediately since the sodium was burning my mouth. I spoke to Tim the manager of the kitchen and I felt he didn’t care about my concerns and just ‘yes’ me lip service, perhaps he was worn out from continuous complaints. Tim, thanks for offering to make something after I was done eating your food but I had enough of 1900 Park Fare dining experience. Also, I talked to other guests at the Grand Floridian where we were staying and the majority had unflattering replies as well and 2 said they heard the food wasn’t up to standards for the price.

Buffet is unorganized with no direction. Had a reservation and had to wait 5 min. Food was avg. reminded me of a cruise ship buffet, not worth the $200+ for 2 adults and 2 kids. Ordered a drink that came 10 min into meal. Characters were the highlight, especially Tiana. but I still want good food. Plates were hard to find. I was full when I left but wondered what I even ate for dinner. Highlight was quick in and out after the delay.

Horrible food, way over priced. Only good this is characters for young kids. Not worth it to go in my opinion

J

The restaurant itself is beautiful. Character interactions are nice and similar to other Disney character dinings. The food is just average, for it being the Grand Floridian I expected better food. Also the service is very lacking. Our sever seemed annoyed and short tempered with our toddler. Hello, it’s Disney! Your job is dealing with kids! We also got yelled at by a character attendant because our toddler kicked off her shoes before a photo. Kids do ornery things, requiring shoes for photos is a ridiculous rule. Overall the experience was not worth it for us. Likely a one and done.

Weird experience(s) here. First timers. All 4 characters were fine! Not as many options for food as I thought there would be. Did witness a 10 (?) year old take her whole hand to get the mashed potatoes off the serving spoon onto her plate. I immediately told two of the people behind the counter, but that mashed potato bowl was still there for as long as I stood there, which was a few minutes. I’m not sure when it got removed.🙁. No one was in a hurry to remove it. The tables are very close together in this restaurant and five minutes into our dining experience we had a couple with a huge “service” dog seated beside us. Would have been just fine if it was a true service dog, but I’m assuming that it was not because everybody was petting it and the owner was putting the autograph book into the dog’s mouth and having the dog go to the character and have the character sign it. I will clarify here… the owner physically could get around and was in no way immobile. The dog did not take direction well at all, and the woman that was directing the dog had to say to it many times over “take the book take the book”. It was annoying as hell. I realize Disney cannot question about the dog being a real service dog or not ….but I would’ve seated them way over in a corner somewhere by themselves. I did not pay $160 to dine with a damn dog. And I did notice that the characters were not happy to have to take the book from the slobbery animals mouth. Some people just think they only matter in this world. Sad

I really expected more from 1900 Park Fare. Went for breakfast. Most of the food just seemed old and stale. The eggs Benedict was inedible. The breakfast pizza crust was hard. Donuts seemed old. However, the guava pastries were good as we're the mickey waffles. Service was good. The atmosphere is great, the characters were fun and very interactive.

C
Claire

Overpriced and rushed. Took my daughter for dinner, food was basic - similar to a hospital canteen and disappointing that you had to help yourself. We waiting at the entrance for 10 minutes to be seated in a half empty restaurant with many staff standing around twiddling their thumbs. 3/4 characters had come round before we got a chance to get up to the buffet, the interactions were quick and lacklustre. We ate our meal expecting the characters to mingle around - no they shot off out the back and that was it, when I asked if they were coming back out I was told no they’d seen everyone and were away, this was soo disappointing, I didn’t expect they would continually greet everyone individually but I did think they would be walking around even 1-2 at a time. Upon returning from getting desert (2 mins max) the table had been cleared of everything - drinks, cutlery and was being cleaned for the next guests, says it all really. The experience cost $87 including tip (for bringing us two drinks), that was for one adult as my daughter is under 3. A total rip off and forgettable experience. Definitely disappointing and not what I was expecting from Disney world. Won’t be doing it again, save your money.

Incredibly overpriced and not worth it. This was one of the most expensive dinners we’ve had at Disney in years and food was probably less the quality of Applebees. Nice characters but would spend the money to go find them at the parks.

C

Food was absolutely terrible and gave us all stomach aches on our way home the next day. For the price, the food should be better quality; was so afraid of food poisoning since we all felt sick! The best part of the experience were the characters. One and done.

This was our third time doing character dining here and it will be our last. The place was mobbed. We had a 6:55pm reservation and were seated around 7:05pm—no issue there. The food itself was just okay but the most disappointing of all was the atmosphere and the character interactions. It was so loud and the characters seemed rushed…and miserable even in between tables. I do feel bad for them due to it being so busy, but a $200 dinner for one adult and one child warrants a much better experience. I also don’t think a 20% gratuity is warranted when the waitress only delivers drinks to the table but I tipped accordingly anyway. I’d prefer a smaller automatic gratuity included. Highly recommend the Snow White character dining experience at Disney’s Wilderness Resort instead…the Grand Floridian Resort is overrated all around, especially with regards to their character dining.

J
Jennifer Spivey

Do not come here. We had a party of 11 and were celebrating shared birthdays and they would not accommodate us even though we had a reservation. The manager was terrible and refused to accommodate our party. Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else.

Big changes going on at Disney after talking with a few of the employees and frequenters Disney is Shifting to catering to more high-end clientele instead of its original middle class base because they are willing to pay more. Their customer service and flexibility are being replaced with rigid pay-to-play policies. Good example I had a 8:00pm reservation I showed up at 6:00 and was asking if there was any way I could get in sooner or do to be put on a waitlist if someone canceled and instead of explaining anything to me all she simply said is you can check in 20 minutes before your reservation. I said I understand that but I was wondering if there's like a wait list I can utilize to get in now as opposed to waiting my plans have shifted. And then instead of addressing my questions she just repeated herself you can check in 20 minutes before your reservation. And that was the end of the conversation after 10 minutes of walking around I was looking at the app and noticed there is a walk-in wait list that she didn't care to mention. I put my name down 15 minutes later I was being seated. Absolutely ridiculous. For what you pay to stay here and to be treated like that it's so unlike Disney I've noticed a lot of treatment like that over the past week. It's really sad to see Disney making these changes.
