Hells Kitchen Lake Elsinore Reviews
Nice destination ride, 60 miles from my place. Food and cocktails are good. Atmosphere is awesome with all the different motorcycles and people. A must go to...
One of our favorite stops when we are out on the Harley. Great drinks good food. Quaint atmosphere. Back patio. Just don't be in a hurry if you order food!!
Frank is awesome. Very accommodating. Great prices and people are friendly. Thanks for the awesome time!
Very small crowd for a Saturday afternoon since people may not realize they are open after the recent fire. Beer is cold and servers are friendly. Kudos to them for offering free food, drinks, coffee and snacks to first responders!
There are two main things that you need to do when you arrive at Hells Kitchen: 1) Get off your bike and chill out under the huge trees. Regardless of the time of year, this has always been a very cool spot to chill regardless of which direction you are coming from. 2) Go inside to the condiment coffin. Read the instructions and pull the little skull handle and open it up. It is the coolest condiment layout that I have ever seen and it is massive! The people here are chill and they have a good mix of people stopping by to check this place out. The inside of Hells Kitchen is small but they have a decent sized patio out front and a big patio out back. There is plenty of room to stand around and socialize under the big pine trees. There are porta potties in the parking lot if you are looking to just drive in and relieve yourself after doing the Ortega Highway twisties. If you have the time make sure you stop in and check out lookout point as well before heading down to Lake Elsinore.
Great Food, Drinks and Atmosphere! Friendly Staff and Clean. Some great views and attractions! Go check it out! Great destination place for a beautiful bike ride or car ride.
Great biker bar up in the Ortega hwy. Bloody Mary is excellent! If you come in a car make sure not to park to close to the bikes, makes us nervous! :)
This is a spectacular ride..the weather is perfect. Always worth the Delicious food and family service is excellent. I could sit under the beautiful trees for hour's.
Ortega Hey us a beautiful road that's cuts through Riverside and orange counties. Right in between is Hell's Kitchen. A great place to meet up with friends and relax. Their food is better then anyone elses. With good food comes crowded conditions, give the waitresses some slack. They work their azzes off. If you are in southern California you owe it to yourself to check it out.
Greatest little bar in the world.. just far enough to keep sane..Mike and the wonderful ladies of hells kitchen accommodate everyone and every motorcycle, a perfect place to be. I highly recommend the ride out.
The new owner Frank has done some much needed improvements, keeping the old crew on was a nice touch. As a old biker, Hell's kitchen is a must stop along the Ortega highway ....
Very good place Frank is the best owner yet no matter what you drive or ride it use to be only Harleys welcome but there is no difference even if you ride a moped or drive a Pinto thanks for your support and giving all the proceeds from today's sell to my lil nephew Lil Jamie you made it very special for our family I will definitely tell all my friends we love you and consider every employee there family love you guys rest in peace Lil Jamie gone but NEVER FORGOTTEN PLEASE PREY FOR HIS GIRL AND KIDS
Steak and eggs were very yummy. Come out and support Frank and Sami as they rebuild from the fire. Yes, they are still open!! Go to hell, save a soul!!✝️✝️
Great bar food! Nice outdoor patio. We even had our small dog. Everyone was very kind.
Great place with Awesome food. Rode from Arizona and did Ortega Hwy to Hell's Kitchen then continued on to Lake Elsinore great curves and wonderful views of the Lake.
Nice spot off of Ortega Hwy with great food and adult beverages. Frank and staff are super friendly and were nice enough to accommodate our group of hungry Corvette drivers. Definitely go check them out and be sure to look at the inside decor. 🤣
This place is pretty Awesome. First time we've been there since the new owners took over. Food is fresh and super delish. Staff is great. The loaded fries had nacho cheese, jalapenos, and a killer pulled pork. Soooooo good. They get their liquor license back in a few weeks and then it's back to KILLER BLOODYS. Can't wait.
PR guy Frank walked out to meet us and welcomed us wholeheartedly and graciously after they were closing down on a Saturday, and showed the same friendly, courteous attitude until we left two hours later. We all had a fabulous time with stellar service and friendliness throughout. We'll be back for sure! Thanks, Frank--you made us and our out-of-town guests feel great, and we'll be back for sure!
Hells kitchen. If you have to ask then you must be on 4wheels. Iconic bar at the top of the hill through the Ortega. Not many cage visitors but plenty of bikers. Great bar good food the best service. Perfect atmosphere inside and out on the patio.
Very unique place with interesting decor, layout, setting & location. The staff is friendly & down to earth. It's a gem hidden between the windy roads of panoramic views. If you're looking for a place to have one of a kind meal with drinks, stop by and check for yourself 😉
Has New Owners that honestly appear to be trying to keep the Fun Good Experience and fix things that had been a negative in the past here. They are off to a great start indeed. Looking forward to seeing them achieve this goal. So if you've never been, I would strongly recommend it. If you have in the past and were somehow disappointed, I'd say give them another try in a couple months as they work hard to improve everyone's experience at Hell's Kitchen. Gets my recommendation.
Stopped by to use bathroom 😂 had a couple of drinks and a Burger 🍔. Nicely done medium well, great 🍟. Prices okay. With that stupid virus there is no waitressing and you have to order inside, not a big problem they bring food to your table. Drinks you must fetch yourself though. All together a good experience.
Took a drive up the Ortega for lunch, great weather and awesome food. No joke, the chicken wings were the best I've ever had, and of course, the ice cold Stella on tap made the patio dining spectacular..... can't wait to go back!
Outside covered seating only due to an unfortunate fire that has destroyed the actually facility. Help support them so they can rebuild the restaurant by donating or visiting for a bite to eat or grab some drinks. They have several beers on tap. Great scenery
An excellent location to stop at during a ride. The Staff are friendly and attentive, and the food and drink are fantastic. The surrounding area is fun to ride too, so it's well worth the trip.
What a GREAT restaurant and bar in such a BEAUTIFUL location. The cheeseburger was 1/2 pound of juicy goodness... and their condiment "coffin" is too much fun. Looks like a lot of bikers that hangout. I drove up in a VW Vanagon. Felt right at home. Great crowd!
Road out to Hell’s Kitchen in lake Elsinore on our Harley. Had a great time, awesome people and great food. Brad hooked it up with super delicious food. Will definitely come back for food and drinks :)
I've gone here since I was little sitting on the back of my dads bike until now, taking my car or bikes up through Ortega. Just got back from a cruise and stopped off for some food, and it was amazing! I highly suggest getting either the pulled pork sandwich or the western bacon cheese burger.
Frank & Heidi are great hosts there friendly very welcoming the environment is a great setting to ride from afar or local the food is excellent they have bands that ur invited to sing along or dance all nite they also have cool vendors were I have bought vintage leather or rock shirts , u will have a blast so saddle up bring ur girl & shine up ur Harley so u can have a Narly time @ Hells Kitchen..
Excellent place to hang out! They have a unique and fun vibe! I haven't been here in few years and sad to find out the place caught fire, destroying the building and the owner lost his pup in the fire.they are working hard to keep the place alive by operating outside for now. Stop by for a visit and help them stay open with your business !!
First time here. Ordered the ortega burger and a brew. Cooked just right...and the fries here are the best I've had In a while. Didnt take long at all to be served. Our waitress Jaz was awesome. I definitely recommend this establishment to everyone. Cant wait for the weekend so i can make it back up there! Thanks!
Guess new management very nice owner actually was our waiter sarcastic he was I loved his personality always a fun ride place was jamming and only got more busy. Weekend's the only offer a short menu because it's all items that can he cooked quicky no body is wants to wait on that one a hole friend who ordered something that takes forever and the rest wanted burgers. I do suggest since it's a short menu to add a hot dog,SON are u reading this he's the owners cook ... Add a bomb dog u guys got that killer condiments coffin get crazy dog lol keep up the good work
Met one of the owners. Good dude and great place. Has made it into and great destination ride for all. The food is great a lot better then with the previous owner. We will be back to visit. Thank you frank for taking the place over and changing it for the better.
First time there. It was 40 miles to get there and we will go back. Nice relaxing environment and the employees were very friendly. Great place to see many varieties of motorcycles.
This place gets a five star from me all the way. The political signs is exactly what this country needs. And by the way whoever says it's racist they don't know what they're talking about it's political. The staff does the best they can with the crowds that they have and the attitudes that walk in the door... the coffin is amazing and one of a kind...
First time there since the new owners took over. Super impressed with the food. The loaded fries are stupid good. The burger was fresh, not frozen. Staff was attentive, and nice. If you are in the mood for a nice drive and a killer lunch, Hells kitchen is the place. You dont have to be a biker to go here. Enjoy good food and an outdoor patio on the mountain.
Great ride there. Good atmosphere and the decor is unique and interesting. LOVE the coffin bar inside! The food was good and drinks too. This place was for sale when we were there so I hope whomever buys it keeps it as-is. This is a one of a kind place and getting away from the franchises that are everywhere is refreshing. Definitely will be going back.
This is the 1st time I have been here since new mgmt has taken over. This place is now AMAZING. My son has worked there for over 17 years, but now it is a place to be proud to work at. Sat on the patio and had a wonderful lunch. The California club. Is to die for along with the Pulled pork nachos. From the cook to owners wife and of course my son, they take care of you like family. Great atmosphere, service and of course the food. Even if you r not a biker, stop by, have lunch, enjoy Hells Kitchen you will not be disappointed and you will leave with a smile. Enjoy the journey up the mountain.
Been going there for years, good place to meet up with old friends and make new ones. Yes, the food is slow in coming (one cook, small kitchen) and it's not "fine dining" but it's not bad at all and portions are a good size. Posers? Maybe a few but weren't we all posers when we first started riding? All in all a fun place to ride to and enjoy the afternoon!
We went to Hell’s Kitchen Motorsports Bar and Grill with about 17 cars & 30+ people from our Corvette club this Saturday morning. We left from San Juan on Ortega Highway which is a beautiful drive and it took about 35 minutes to get there. Hell’s Kitchen owner Frank and his staff Jenny and Sam were awesome and did everything to make our group comfortable. The breakfast was good and our group was able to dine under the tent with heaters. While it’s nice to eat outdoors, you have to go inside to see the decor. They have a coffin for condiments. We’ll definitely go back to try out lunch. A lot of small business owners are struggling now with the ever changing Covid restrictions, so please check them out.
Went in to check it out Real nice place Will go back
Go visit! The owner & staff are wonderful. Food is great! They just need people taking the time to find this great little spot. Atmosphere 4 only because I don't think anyone knows Hell's Kitchen is back. 🏍️
Sorry to see the old owner go. Nice to see that the new owners have kept it up and is looking well cared for. I kind of miss the old owners rants on the sign out front. Always love seeing the snowflake triggering sayings he post on that sign! be prepared for it to be super busy on the weekends as every motorcycle from Los Angeles to San Diego seems to stop there
Great place to ride and hangout. Good place to eat. The band's are great to listen to and dance,or to have a beverage. Also a great place to do your biker shopping with all the vendors that show up. See you down there talk to you soon.
Really good grub food after a long bike ride. Sat outdoors and enjoyed local music. Prices were fair. Will be sure to stop by on our return ride later in week.
Didn't have any food but we were here for a show and it was great ti bring our baby with us to this family friendly place
Great place for an event or to hang with friends. I believe this was the old stone brewery building. The transformation is incredible! Was invited to a country day and Toby Keith cover music event for charity it was very cool. Great place to see live music! Great staff very quick service. Highly recommended!
Incredible service! Full bar! Great food! Brad can make pulled pork like NOBODY ELSE! They recently moved from the Ortega Highway location to here. SERIOUSLY, COME CHECK IT OUT. It's a much better fit than the brewery that was here before. Amazing outside patio area, including a mister that will keep you cool on the really hot days. Come check it out, you won't be disappointed. Cash only, so plan ahead for that, or use their ATM.
They have a REAL good burger! March 20, 2021... They were out of "Smoked in Hell" burgers. They were out of Fish and Chips. They were out of bacon 😥. So we had standard regular cheeseburgers. They brought our meal rather quickly, but forgot our drinks. Had to ask for them...twice. The condiment coffin is fun. It's still a great place to ride for lunch. We'll give 'em a another chance. 😁
Edit Dec 2019: been back multiple times since change our ownership and menu up. Great burgers & service! We will continue coming back when we ride Ortega! Glad new owners kept this up with motorcycle theme! Old review 2018: Great place to check out motorcycles and people watch. Menu was very limited yesterday, pretty much just chips & salsa and canned soda. They say full menu will be up next week. So review on food will have to wait. Always a fun ride to Hell's Kitchen.
Great place! Been driving by it wondering if it’s any good. New ownership with awesome customer service. I’m impressed with portions of the food and freakin delicious. I don’t know if it’s known but it’s great place to bring your family, friends and even kids. It’s become one of my favorite places to eat and enjoy the scenery.
Took a ride there with a few friends. It wasn't too crowded or too noisy. The perfect weather complimented the outdoor seating (there's indoor as well). I believe they have newer owners celebrating their one year anniversary tomorrow, so some of the menu items (like the BLT) that I saw on Google were not what is currently in the menu. Said menu isn't very extensive, with about 5 burgers, chili, chicken strips, and a variety of finger foods (tortilla chips tasted like home made... yum!).
My first time there. Loved it. Servers were all super nice and the burger and micheladas were delicious. I like being able to dress my own burger so the "coffin" was a big hit with my. Lettuce, tomato, thousand island and jalapeños. Sat on the patio and watched the sweet bikes pull in. Cool place. We will be back.
Went early afternoon so it wasnt too busy. Was very hot and the back patio was nice and cool. Very pleasant staff. Didnt eat anything on this visit but will update post when I do
A genuine place, you can have a fast (and spicy) meal, something to drink and quickly get back to ride. If you want to stay longer, the terrace is peaceful and shady, and the smell of the pinetrees fills your lungs up...unique. Please remember: enjoy your ride, be fast, lean your bike and have fun, but always in your safety zone. Riding is all about being ACTIVE, not STUPID. :-)
Not quite a restaurant, outdoor tables and you order your meal from a food truck, they don’t serve breakfast so come after 11am
This place is fun , it is on Ortega HWY route 74 , it's almost halfway between San Juan Capistrano and Lake Elsinor .Getting there is half the fun a narrow winding road and scenic mountain views is what you'll experience . I got there from Saddle Back mountain from Silverado Canyon and took the main divide road to Ortega 10- 17 -21 Sunday THE GATES WERE OPEN FINALLY . I came off the mountain into Corisco camp ground made a left on Ortega 1/2 mile I was at Hell's kitchen enjoying a cold one . They recently had a kitchen fire and they are running on a reduced capacity. But they could sure use your support right now .
Went to this place for breakfast with a large group. The waitress did her best but was trying to serve the entire restaurant by herself. She did what she could. Overall a good experience and will be back.
Would have gave it 5 stars but the draft beer was tepid...switched to bottles and they were ice cold. Friendly service and great food. We stop there whenever the ride takes us over the Ortega.
Went to grand opening. Real nice time and hundreds of HD's. Owners took up a collection of $700 for the young lady who died on the road that day. I think we're all going to like the new kitchen.
Cool place. Not to cool of an area compared to before. But they did make it their theme. Its a cool looking place. Worth the stop.
A cool place to ride and grab a beer and some food. They get incredible busy on the weekends and if you are in a hurry may not want to make it your lunch stop. They have both inside and outside seating and in the cold days of winter they have the fireplace going strong to warm you up! An awesome motorcycle road to get here - Ortega Highway and you will always see motorcycles on the road. Also always fun to ride see all the other motorcycles parked here.
This is the new location of Hell's Kitchen, previously up on the Ortega's. Owner is a great guy who seems to need a break from a series of unfortunate events! He is doing a great job in reestablishing the business and the new location is well on its way to being a great hangout spot. For now there is a small outdoor bar and food truck. The atmosphere is very nice with indoor and outdoor spaces and classic rock music. Bathrooms are clean. I didn't eat here but the Bud Light was cold and refreshing! Eventually there will be inside service, billiards and more. Check this place out!
Really good Arnold Palmers (they have the balance between tea and lemonade perfect) and decent bar food to boot. But mainly, this place is just a nice spot to hang out and rest for a while when on a motorcycle ride. The outdoor seating is covered and the scenery couldn't be better. Looking forward to my next visit.
LOTS OF BIKES. Definitely more than biker friendly. The food isnt bad and its a nice little stop on the side of the road if you want to bring some friends who havent been there. Its an experience. Sometimes you get a detailer or a patch person selling stuff. The service is generally slow and it might be tough to find a seat at times but its not a bad place. Its a fun little stop if you are riding Ortega
Now that's a bar only and no food. Most of us have no reason to visit. It's unfortunate.
Cool looking place. Bad spot. Only been middle of the day on a few Sundays. Never anyone there. I will go back for an event.
Good place to meet friends and new riders from all over the world. Dan Guerney ( Formula One Champion) and other great people stop by occasionally so you never know who might show up. Austin Coil ( John Forces Crew Chief) and Kenny Bernstien have visited here. Lots of interesting rides to see being ridden to this nice seemingly out of the way location. Come check it out!
Being at this location for 3 years and they don't have food permits. Street vendors were brought in. Website says cash only. Good band but the cover charge was out of line. I had already prepaid tickets at "will call", no will call booth to be found.
Horrible i had to wait for an hour for my food! Turns out they forgot about our order!
Hell's kitchen has gone too hell...it use to be a fun place to stop but lately the service sucks and the waitresses have really bad attitudes. It's too bad this has happened but explains why people aren't coming here like they did before. Management needs to take control of the situation!
Bland bland bland burgers hiding under whatever overpriced topping you choose! This is amidst disposable plates, forks, knives etc. They overcharge instead of at least passing the disposable utensil savings on to the customer! Nothing to go out of your way for. Drive back into town for higher quality and flavor and for a fraction of the price!
Horrible customer service. We waited 1hr for our food they said they were going to call my name in the speaker and never did, came back 3 times and they said you have to wait till you're called.. The order never came out. They accept only cash but their atm didn't have cash. After all that the cashier wanted me to pay again saying I never paid for the order, thank God I kept the receipt otherwise I would have had to pay again.. I do not recommend this place
Not a place for mothers day brunch. Champagne was good. There was no butter or margerine and the syrup was like silly putty it would not come out of the holder. No cream for the coffee. I'm sure they will be better next time.
Stopped here during a ride for some food and drinks. After waiting 10 min bartender offered us drinks, after waiting even longer waiting for food menus the bartender told us the only food they serve is the free popcorn.....
