Luckie Coffee Lakeside Reviews
From the moment that I entered thru the door I was amazed by how beautiful this place is, the back has a small lake. The service was great, the nice lady at the register was working alone this day, yet she managed to provide great service with a good attitude, the place had a lot of customers but yet my food and coffee was of great quality. She came to the table and apologized for the wait and appreciated my visit, the wait was not bad at all, I being in places with more employees that take way longer.I ordered the Belgian waffle, it was hot, crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The coffee was good, a little too sweet, but it was for me to blame for my sweet tooth the one I ordered had honey and hazelnut cream in it with spices, so had it coming. This place is unique as you can sit outside and look at the beautiful scenery or sit inside and enjoy the decor and relaxing music. The place appeared clean and organized and the staff is very happy that you visit their business, the lady was busy and worked hard to fulfill all the orders, but yet at the end of the rush she was so happy and grateful for everyone there. I will definitely be back to this place.
Really nice place with good food. We came here for breakfast and had a waffle, which my wife said was the best she ever had, and an egg sandwich which was also very good. The service was very nice and helpful. Nice outdoor and indoor areas. Like that it's right on the water so you can look at some fish.
We just love this place. Good food not fancy , great coffee. Wonderful staff and just a super relaxing place to chill
If there was an option to give more the 5 stars I would. I start my morning off with a cup of tea and The Reg (Bacon egg and cheese on a roll) add sausage, head to the back porch and zen out. The people that work here remembered my name on my second visit and ALWAYS got a great smile and approach to customers. I found my spot on the porch, yalls turn to find your spot here.
Cute little shop in the middle of nowhere. Chicken salad was awesome. I would drive back just for that sandwich.
Such a great spot to meet clients for meetings. I've had several of their coffees and can recommended all of them. The regular drip coffee is smooth. I've also had the caramel macchiato and that was great as well!
This cafe is so sweet and cozy offers free WiFi and a great homey atmosphere. The food is good the coffee is also good, there’s also a back porch screened in and then benches outside plenty of seating inside and out, situated right on a body of water so the view out back is nice. The employees are very hospitable and pleasant. There’s a small corner for kids with some little toys and coloring books , small tables and chairs and a play kitchen. The bathroom does have a diaper changing station. I just loved this cafe.
I debated gate-keeping on this one simply because I love everything about it and don't want it to change! However, that's just not the right thing to do. So here it goes.... I've been here almost every week for the past 2 months (don't judge me 🙄). Every experience has been nothing short of amazing. The food is delicious and the coffees are even better! The owner is extremely easy going and happy to try new things. She made the Wolfsbane into a Frappe for me and OMG 😲 absolute game changer. There's inside and outside seating as well as some small business items for sell inside. It's worth the stop in! Now, this is a small business. There is usually only 1-2 employees on at a time so if you don't have the time to be patient so they can make your food/drinks from scratch, then maybe come another time. They're worth the wait tho, I promise you. Anyways, see ya there next week 🫶🏼
The chicken salad sandwich is super yummy. Enjoyed the porch and the pier outside the cafe. Everyone was friendly & welcoming. Great hidden gem, hoping everyone will find & enjoy
This quaint clean cafe is a hidden gem. Andrew was phenomenal with his service as well as cleanliness. Very pleased with my experience will definitely return!
Awesome experience! Thanks a bunch for restoring hospitality to the south! The smoothie was to die for! Croissant was spot on! Sat outside, very cozy and peaceful by the water and well kept grounds..refreshing customer service all the way around! Definitely Coming back! Very quaint, friendly and fun! It was a great stop for us , glad we found a local gem! Way to go! 😎
“I loved the experience at CAFÉ LÚCIA LAKE WEIR. The environment is very cozy, with a rustic decoration and a quiet climate, ideal both for those who want to relax and for those who need a space to work. Coffee, without a doubt, is the highlight: well prepared, aromatic and with a striking flavor. The store offers an interesting variety of options, catering to all tastes. In addition, the service was excellent, with friendly and attentive employees. For sure, I’ll come back more often!.
Café Lucia in Lake Weir is such a cool spot great vibe, delicious food, and an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. The owner is super friendly and truly awesome. Definitely a place worth visiting!
This beautifully decorated and cozy cafe may be a little hidden, but do yourself a huge favor and make sure you visit them. All of their specialty coffees and awesome food are well worth the visit. They are famous for their chicken salad, and it was excellent, but all of their food is amazing. This isn't someplace to put on the back burner and forget about. Take the time to check them out, and you'll want to keep going back, time and time again.
Great customer service and atmosphere. Lots of great seating options especially outside that overlook the water. I ordered and had it ready to go in just a couple minutes.
This place is amazing. They provide great food and drinks. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. They provide a great space for children to be engaged and have fun so parents can enjoy their visit as well. The owner goes above and beyond to provide a family friendly place to unwind and enjoy good food and good friends.
My wife and I stopped in and were glad we did. We got the coffee flight which had four different flavor combinations to try. YUM! And I got the biscuits and gravy while my wife got a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. Everything was delicious! The cafe is situated on an inlet to the lake and the seating was plentiful. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and we will definitely go back!
We have been here multiple times since they opened and are never disappointed. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. The outdoor, screened in patio is our favorite place to sit. It is a peaceful cafe with delicious food and a great view!
We've been driving by this cute place and stopped in today to give this gem of a cafe a try. We were greeted warmly, with true Southern hospitality!!!!! After we perused the menu and ordered, we wandered outside to a table with a view of the lake. Our breakfast was delicious! Definitely try the Reg! Our strawberry smoothie was yummy!!!! We're definitely coming back and very soon!!!!!
We loved the coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and indoor/outdoor seating options. Highly recommend!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Place is super cute and clean. We ordered at the counter and sat outside as we had our puppy with us. Drinks and food were good and fresh!! We will definitely be back
Everything is fabulous! Savannah is so sweet. We had coffee, tea, the reg, waffle breakfasts. So delicious. The place is so cute and immaculately clean.
Was looking for a Cafe close to our new home. Found this super cute place. Great charm and ambience. Came for coffee. Next time will try food. The staff was nice, too.
Been driving past this little spot for months now. Decided this morning to stop in and check it out. Was not disappointed, the staff was wonderful, super easy to order, multiple options for food and drinks. Espresso was awesome and food was amazing. They’re are so many choices for seating and comfort, super cute decorations and the back deck was great. It was raining so we stayed under the porch area but it has an open deck and views of the canal to the lake. Will definitely be recommending my friends and family to this place. We will be back to try new things.
This little place has been here for months. Has a great atmosphere and the employees were super friendly. Great coffee and food. I got a regular drip coffee and the classic. Both had great flavor and were a good price. Great view and just a little gem in lake wier/Summerfield area. It's a must try.
Love the atmosphere in this quaint little Cafe! Outdoor covered seating is available, free wifi, excellent service, and handcrafted food. Been here several times and not had a bad experience.
We just wanted to find a different place for coffee & a breakfast roll, and this place did not disappoint! It's only 10 mins from Spanish Springs & even closer for those who live near 42. Amanda & Jacob served us...they were so sweet. We would have sat outside if it was warmer to enjoy the beautiful view of the inlet (pictured). They serve breakfast, lunch & ice cream. Will definitely return to try their homemade chicken salad!
Cafe Lucia is a true gem! Located in an excellent, peaceful setting along Lake Weir, with boat docking available as well as indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered an Iced Chai Latte (very good) grilled cheese (it’s unique on naan bread, similar to a pita. Got it with provolone and cheddar, loved it!) and broccoli cheddar soup (thumbs up) for lunch. I stayed a while using their free wifi and also ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato, which was very sweet, but still good. Staff members were very friendly and helpful, answering my questions and making recommendations! They serve breakfast and lunch all day with a variety of food, coffee, and drink options on the menu. It’s nice to see this business open and I hope others will support it!
Amazing!! So excited that this cute little place is in Summerfield! Great atmosphere, great food and nice people! Beautifully done! Can’t wait to dock the boat and come for lunch again! Cute little corner for kids to play too which is super convenient!
Second time being here!! It’s our new favorite cafe!! Super adorable atmosphere, great food & drinks. LOVVVE!!! ***EDIT: went again- BEST chic salad sandwich, I’ve ever had in my LIFE

This place never disappoints! Everything is always a 10/10. The only thing I wish was that skim/nonfat milk was kept more in stock. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
Just stopped in, was looking for a coffee spot while we were in town. Found this spot on TikTok actually. We were greeted by friendly staff, tried the Harrison breakfast sandwich and I will definitely be back again for this tomorrow before heading out of town! Delicious!
Cute little cafe. Very small menu. Note this is not a sit down service restaurant. Atmosphere was charming and food was overall good. One person of our group didn’t like the biscuits and gravy. Staff was nice.
My man got the Chicken Salad sandwich and it was delicious. The young ladies were very friendly and welcomed us right in off the lake. We will be back. Melanie & Roger🚤💟✝️✌🏽
We booked Café Lucia for our company Christmas party, and everything was fantastic. The space was perfect, the food was great, and Savana was incredibly sweet and accommodating. She made the whole experience easy and comfortable. Highly recommend!
This is such a cute coffee shop/cafe. My favorite in the area for sure! The staff are incredibly kind and joyful, and the food and drinks are amazing too! The chicken salad and potato salad are to die for. 🤤 The coffee is incredible-tastes perfect honestly. Savannah is such a joyful soul! I’ve also met Emily too who works there and she was so sweet and helpful when it was my first time. 10/10 atmosphere, food/drinks, and people! ☺️

Country-style relaxing vibe meets new-age café!!!! Small portions; however, tasty and not overpriced. Coffee was strong; not like the watered-down stuff other places serve. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean establishment. Back porch was relaxed and welcoming. Love that you can paddle or boat there via Lake Weir!
Today, I visited Cafe Lucia at Lake Weir and decided to try their coffee flight, which offers four different coffees, each about 6-8oz, for $15. The coffee was enjoyable, though we found the flavors to be somewhat similar. For our meal, we opted for the waffles, served with strawberries and whipped cream, along with a side of bacon for $8.50. Unfortunately, the dish didn't meet our expectations as the waffles were more like pancakes cooked in a waffle iron, and the bacon seemed to be microwaved. We also treated ourselves to a strawberry cupcake for $5, which I felt was a bit pricey for what seemed to be a boxed cupcake. Despite the culinary missteps, the staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was charming, complete with a delightful kids' corner. Overall, while our visit didn't quite live up to our expectations, the pleasant service and decor made for a nice experience.
I paid $6 for a large coffee and it wasn't even what I would consider large and the worst part, it wasn't even full. The coffee was ok, better than home coffee but the price they could at least give you a full cup. Had their chicken salad croissant too. The croissant was dry and fell apart. i had high hopes for this place but it was just ok. Maybe it was an off day. I'm not trying to bash them, it's just an honest review. I'll try again and maybe stay and eat inside and see if it's better. Mine was to go. It just could've been better that's all. I wish them luck in their new place!
My girlfriend held her Christmas “burr” basket exchange event there and it was very nice. First time going and I was pleasantly surprised. I love the pond behind the building. There’s a sign referring to not feeding wild animals so I assume there are gators in the water and other creatures that come out at night..and possibly day. The food was good. 7/10. I ordered the “reg” which is bacon egg cheese on a croissant. It was really good. Hot and fresh. Took a little longer than expected to receive but once I got it…I enjoyed it. Just wish my cheese was melted on the croissant. No biggie….I still ate it. 😂The back patio/porch is cute. It’s a nice space for a baby shower or bridal shower..Overall, nice experience. I’m not a coffee drinker so I enjoyed a refreshing lemonade.

I’m genuinely sad to write this review—I truly wanted to give this place another five stars. I hope the cafe takes this feedback to heart because this area really needs a great restaurant and coffee shop, and this spot has so much potential. The location is beautiful—right on the water—with a cozy, inviting interior that makes you want to stay a while. I’ve been here before, and my first visit left a better impression. The coffee was great that time, and I was excited to return. Unfortunately, my second visit didn’t live up to the first. We ordered three coffees: the Snickerdoodle, Honey Bee, and Bean Redeem. All of them were overwhelmingly milk-forward with very little actual coffee flavor. The Snickerdoodle, which was supposed to have cinnamon notes, tasted mostly like vanilla and caramel. The Honey Bee didn’t taste quite right, and the Bean Redeem lacked the white chocolate and toffee flavors advertised—it just came across as more vanilla. As for the food, we tried a variety: the biscuits and gravy, Sunrise Supreme, the Classic, and the Reg. Sadly, nothing stood out. The Reg and Classic were okay but lacked seasoning or anything memorable. The biscuits and gravy reminded us of the older McDonald's version—definitely not homemade. The Sunrise Supreme came on mini biscuits that were dry, and the sandwiches overall were just average. A recurring issue we noticed was that a lot of the items seemed prepackaged. The baked goods in the case looked like they came from Sam’s Club. If the coffee had been excellent, we could have overlooked that—but with both the drinks and food falling flat, it’s hard to justify a return visit right now. That said, I really want to see this place thrive. There’s a great opportunity here to make it special: seasonal menus, house-made syrups, stronger flavor profiles in the coffee, and maybe even partnerships with local roasters and bakers. Showcasing fresh, local ingredients and dialing in the coffee recipes could turn this into a true gem. I’ll be keeping an eye on this spot and genuinely hope to update this review in the future with a better experience.

Nice place but staff was negligent employees were more interested in socializing with eachother. She served me coffee and didn't ask what I wanted in it; then when told her she got an attitude. Sandwich was really good and good prices. AC is too cold in this place.
