Ok, most important, everything we are was so awesome!! Absolutely the best wings i have ever eaten!! And i don't usually like wings!! The portions are hudge!! Ok, the ambiance is great, the decor is perfect and fitting for the restaurant. Every single employee smiled and was super friendly, just like they were your neighbor!! I will be going back super often!! Love it!¡

Maybe some of the best local BBQ I’ve had especially the smoked sausage sampler. The briscuit was cooked properly as was the Turkey and both were delicious. The pork was good but probably the weakest of the meats in my opinion. Of the sides I found the broccoli salad a nice alternative to a BBQ side. Atmosphere was great with plenty of parking and easy access. Only complaint was it seemed like there wasn’t a clear cut way to tell what was available and what wasn’t available outside of special times.

The food was excellent! Do yourself a favor and get the fried corn. You won’t regret it. Great atmosphere and kid friendly. My family will be back for sure.

My first visit was this week. It is about a 40 minute drive, so I was glad the food was good. I had a two meat sampler with turkey and brisket. I got the broccoli salad and a side salad. I put the two salads in one bowl. They were fresh and good tasting. The meats were nicely smoked and tender, easy to cut with a fork. I took some home for later. I would suggest improving the toast, and getting a different ginger beer for their mules. They are much better when there is real ginger in them.

Tabby was out Bartender and she was amazing! Made eye contact with us upon arrival and was very attentive! Great Potato skins and boneless wings! Mac & Cheese with the chilled broccoli salad! Upstairs area with games and such! Nice & clean! Close to Sandy’s Casino and Camp Adventure area for the kiddos!

This is the second visit, I didn’t review the first and I believe in second chances. Most likely this is the last visit. Service was slow, the steak came out cold, after sending it back it was still not a good hot temp. Sad because the atmosphere is nice , don’t let the appearance of the steak fool you.this is the 3 rd visit, first time since they moved to camp landing. I have to say the food was amazing, I had The Appalachian, Pulled pork piled high on Texas toast , topped with banana peppers, pickles onion straws and slaw. , .

Food was really good. It's been a while since I had some good bbq. I only have two small things to say. I've lived in a lot of places and have eaten a lot of bbq. Although it was good and tender and nicely smoked, I found it odd that if I closed my eyes and just ate the meat that I couldn't tell the difference in which meat I was eating, according to flavor. The only other thing is they sat us in the front which was nice and spacious but it was also snowing and very chilly outside. We needed a better heated area

First visit attending a 50th wedding anniversary. Our server was great, my burger was okay (probably not the specialty of a rib place), and the private area was nice but the large staircase up had some attendees contemplating their options. Otherwise, a nice place I'll try again in the main dining area.

The spicy barbecue sauce is not spicy at all. I believe it’s a vinegar base which I do enjoy. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and thought it was really good. They are cornbread is sweet cornbread, I thought that was really tasty as well. Lots of stuff and old license plates to look at. Really big space, our server was somewhat attentive, but very nice.

The food was delicious. Our server was kind and attentive. Price-to-portion felt a little off on certain items (the ribs, brisket, and premium sides specifically), but they were cooked and seasoned well.

The food was not really flavorful. The brisket could have been really good if it had more of the flavor and less of just smokes taste as well as juicier it was very dry. Try this place twice and both times it was just mediocre. Definitely not worth paying the price of the place with the food being mediocre. The waitress was a bit slow and ineffective as well. I asked for ranch with our potato skins and 10 minutes go by and I had to go ask the hostess and she went got it. The atmosphere is great but the food was not.

Food was a bit of a disappointment. Dry brisket. Weakly seasoned all around. The smoked wings were the table winner but even then on the dry side. Sauces were pretty solid and they give several options on the table. Acoustics are horrible and it's very difficult to have a conversation across your own table. Cost-wise not a great value, pretty expensive for mediocre BBQ.

First off, we love eating here and will come back, but we had some questionable service today. Table by the door at about 7:15-7:30 (just two of us). The waitress just arbitrarily kept the change from our bill and brought us just the cash back. I know it's just 62 cents I am fussing over, but let me make the decision on what to leave as tip. You're not doing me a favor by just keeping the change as if I were going to give it to you anyway. It wasn't even descent service. She seemed annoyed she was even working and only came by once to just bring the check. I love Smokin J's, but maybe retrain some staff on this practice.

We had high hopes for this establishment given previous reviews but… Wait staff took forever to take our drink and food orders on a not so busy night. Pretzel bites and beer cheese if you can call that beer cheese were very bland and cold. Steak was cooked on a flat top or frying pan not grilled as you would expect at a BBQ establishment also cold. BBQ was cold, tasteless and “premium”sides were cold as well and the toast was cold greasy and soggy. Definitely a one and done for us.

The wings were great. The turkey was too salty, the ribs had been smothered in bbq sauce I'm a dry ribs guy, the pulled pork was good, the sides mediocre, the chili special was served cold. They did not have any interesting brews. I probably won't return if I do I'm sticking to the wings with the house dry rub.

Used to loved their chicken tenders and cheese fries! Would drive a hour and a half one way to eat there. Came in today and ordered my usual but was very disappointed to see they had switched to hand breaded chicken tenders. Hope they bring back their beer battered tenders soon

My friend and I came in this evening around 7pm we both ordered the ribeye. My steak was warm and my potato wasn't even hot and tasted old. My friends steak was taken back twice to which still wasnt cooked right and they forgot to bring back his silverware as well. We had to flag down a manager younger guy maybe in his mid to late 20's with blonde hair. when we spoke to him he acted as tho he wasnt really concerned if we were happy,but luckily he did take off our steaks. Now our server morgan was hands down amazing and did what she could to make sure we were happy! Wtg morgan
