Grand Lux Cafe Las Vegas Reviews
3/6/26: We ate here after checking in. There wasn't a wait to be seated. We asked to be seated away from the casino floor. Our server was lovely! She kept my ice tea topped off. The bread that's brought out early was warm and very good. I had the Meidera Chicken while my husband had the Spicy Ginger Beef. Both of them were delicious! For dessert, I had the Red Velvet Cake. Husband had the Butter Cake. Both of them were amazing! 3/7/26: Had breakfast here and it was fantastic. We ordered off the menu instead of the buffet. I had the french toast with bacon and a side of eggs. It was SO good! Husband had chilaquiles and enjoyed it.
Not yet recommended this restaurant. We really enjoyed it. The food was excellent. We would rate the meal, a solid nine or 9 1/2 out of 10. The only reason that we didn’t give it a 10 was because the hashbrowns weren’t very hot. They were very crispy and had an excellent taste. We ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken had a very good flavor in the right crunch. The waffles were very light and fluffy and I love the cinnamon that I think might’ve either been on the pecans or the syrup. We also had a whole egg omelette, which was delicious the breakfast quesadilla and the two eggs with hashbrowns bacon and an English muffin. The coffee was also very good. It was $6.50 a cup, but we didn’t feel bad paying that after we drank some of it. Our service was excellent and we would highly recommend and we would return.
You must go if you have the opportunity! I’m not kidding when I say we had the best breakfast we’ve ever had in our lives and we are not young! I’m from the south and I’ve had plenty of delicious chicken and waffles. I’m shocked to say this was the best I’ve ever had! The chicken tenders were fried in a light, flavorful, and crispy batter. The waffle was perfectly light and airy (not so light that it was not filling). The buttery, caramel syrup and caramelized pecans (optional) were amazing! The kitchen was fast, the server was attentive and great, and the restaurant is huge! Honestly, I have no idea how the kitchen kept up so efficiently when the restaurant was full. Prices were reasonable for a large city regardless of this being Las Vegas with a captive audience at the Venetian/Palazzo resort. It was truly an amazing experience.
Came in for a laid back experience. Food and prices were reasonable. Everything ordered tasted good. Steak frites had way more fries than I expected. The steak tasted excellent.z The server we got was very friendly and she made our night! The restaurant was very spacious and provided an excellent dinner experience on NYE!
This is a 24-hour restaurant located on the first floor of The Palazzo, near the casino. The interior is beautifully designed with a spacious layout and elegant marble-style décor, creating a luxurious atmosphere. They offer an extensive menu with a wide variety of options, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late-night meals, desserts, and drinks. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available, and the selection of international cuisine is impressive. The food is fresh, well-prepared, and consistently delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they are very welcoming to families with children, which we truly appreciated. Although Las Vegas is known as “the city that never sleeps,” many restaurants on the Strip close surprisingly early, often around 10 p.m. After enjoying shows or attractions, it can be difficult to find a place to eat late at night. Having this 24-hour restaurant available was incredibly convenient and made our stay much more enjoyable.
Had a delicious lunch at my first visit to Grand Lux Cafe. Ordered the capellini al pomodoro and it was delicious. Just the perfect amount of sauce and basil (I like it saucy!) My friends got the grilled salmon and the chicken salad and enjoyed their dishes too. Note: there are 2 locations there in Vegas. One at the Venetian and one at Palazzo. They both have a bakery that is a gem of a find! Their bakery sells delicious, nutritious and inexpensive salads, sandwiches and delightful desserts at half the price of the restaurants. The bakery at the Palazzo location will make you beignets. They are delicious!! Another wonderful feature is, the cafe is open all the time! Great place to stop after a show!
Great atmosphere. We went here for breakfast and had an incredible experience. Our server was very nice and accommodating. This review was based solely on the breakfast food. Omelette and banana pancakes were on point.
Very good value. High quality food and service. This was a good find. Other reviewers were right : the lines move quickly. They even had a separate staff moving down the line asking the counts for each table so that they could proactively set them up.
Food is good here. Reminds me of Cheesecake Factory food. Our servers were great! Portions are huge, especially the chicken and waffle. Burgers were surprisingly good but are pricey. We stay at the Venetian every time we’re in Vegas, so this was very convenient for us as they open 24 hours. We ate here twice on a 3 days stay because it is so convenient. And the place is huge, so you never really need a reservation, at least for the times that we went. I believe they do have a happy hour menu as well. Overall, a great experience.
My fiancé and I came here for breakfast the first day we arrived and we would highly recommend! The grand Lux French toast was out of this world! Very fluffy and very tasteful! The eggs any style with toast also a great choice!!
Great experience at The Grand Lux located at Palazzo Casino and Resorts. I wanted a good wholesome breakfast. Every food item ( mini waffles, hash brown, bacon, and spinach omelette) was good but I rated a 4 star because it was a tad bit too salty. I admit It was my fault because I could have requested the omelette without salt. There were plenty of items to select from. A good assortment of fresh Fruit and pastries. Good tasting Coffee was also served
Huge choice of food on the menu but the server explained it well and gave some recommendations. We had a really nice lunch here and didn't have to queue for any more than 10 minutes. The portions are huge, so a main meal will be more than enough for one person, and its also really good value for money.
Very good breakfast! They have a buffet for $32 with a chef that makes omelets to order as you choose with veggies meats and cheeses! Very large menu of entrees to choose from. They are also open for lunch and dinner though we only had breakfast... The only thing is, the bathrooms are outside of the restaurant in the Shoppes across the promenade should you have to go... 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great food, great service. Ate here multiple times and every was great. They are supposedly owned by the Cheesecake Factory owners so expect similar - expansive menu, big portions and everything done fairly well. Prices are typical for Vegas - more expensive than back home but not bank breaking.
Really great option if you’re staying at the Venetian or anywhere on the strip for a reliably tasty meal with healthy portions. The chicken tender meal comes with cole slaw, fries, and four dipping sauces - recommend. Burgers, steak, quesadilla were all very solid. Loved their orange juice.
When you first see the Grand Lux Cafe’s expansive menu it might remind you of the Cheesecake Factory menu. And it should because the restaurant was founded by the same people. Their idea was to bring you the same food you might find in an Italian trattoria or French bistro and at a reasonable price. I think they have succeeded. The food here is always great. The prices are good. The staff moves quickly to keep everyone satisfied. You are basically in the casino though so there are plenty of distractions from people walking by and the sounds of the casino in general. So if you’re looking for a quiet place to have dinner this may not be it. Otherwise it’s a great spot for good food.
I came in late night Super Bowl Sunday. I was able to get seated right away. Our buzzer and server were attentive. The server recommend the peach cosmo and it was excellent. ordered the garlic shrimp pasta. The flavor and quality of the food was excellent. The bartender even came over to clarify my drink order. Highly recommend and I love that it’s 24 hours.
This is the best value for your dollar in Vegas. Do not let the massive menu fool you into believing the food is anything less than spectacular. I went here twice for dinner and once for breakfast while at the resort. The staff were helping each other with plates, serving dishes, running, and cleaning. I'm impressed and if I ever find myself in this city again I'll love to make it a point to return!
Amazing. Staff and wonderful food. When I arrived. I will see it. In the back of a restaurant. And I requested. To sit at the front by the. View of the casino. They asked me to wait a couple of minutes and they gave me a table. As soon as it became available. Most places will just tell you no. Then they suggested a wonderful. Appetizer. And followed by chicken. Parm. Which was simply gigantic. And tasted. Amazing. I really liked the atmosphere, the view. The food. And the service. They are the highest rated. Brunch location. In Vegas. And I can confirm. That they are so. Enjoy.
One of my favorite breakfast spots on the Strip. Came here a couple of times and it was really good. Nice place, great menu with lots of options for breakfast and brunch. Food and service are both really good. Recommended. It might get a little busy sometimes but it's worth the wait.
One of the finest places that's well organized. Food is delicious & cooked to perfection. Staff is caring & friendly. Nice & clean environment. This place deserves recognition. However, during the last dinner visit, seafood seemed to gave some challenge & maybe wasn't cooked properlyor maybe cold chain infrastructure wasnt maintained that negatively impacted the experience. Overall, wonderful restaurant that's clean, organized & well structured. Staff is very caring and friendly.
Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. The waitress was attentive, pleasant, and respectable. The beef from the Wellington and Steak Frites was nice and tender. The steak was flavorful, had a robust taste, and was tender and juicy. According to the menu, the flavor could come from the steaks aged for four weeks. The dessert was also delicious! It was a Butter Cake with the top brûlée and a scoop of ice cream (which also tasted “fresh”). It was also served with fresh-cut strawberries and whipped cream! The other things to note: it was a little busy, but I was able to be seated right away. Food came out in an ideal time, not too long. My critique is that I did notice my steak felt a bit on the cool side. I wonder if they finished up with my dish first, and it sat there while the other dish was being prepared 🤔. Other than that, it was good. I wish I had gone earlier when they were serving breakfast to try their chicken and waffles, but that’ll probably be next time. Until then, I will update this post with the breakfast review!
This place is a gem! The menu is full of tempting options, and everything seems incredibly fresh. The portions are generous, and the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend the chicken & waffles – the waffle itself was light and fluffy, and the chicken was perfectly cooked, creating a delicious sweet and savory combination. A must try at the Venetian!
Grand Lux Cafe has become my absolute favorite spot in town. Nestled inside the Venetian casino, it offers an unparalleled dining experience. The value for the quality is exceptional. The portions are enormous, making it perfect for those with a hearty appetite. Each dish is a testament to the chef’s expertise, and the flavors are nothing short of spectacular. The service is consistently outstanding. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines great taste, generous portions, and reasonable prices, Grand Lux Cafe is the ultimate destination. It’s a Vegas gem that never disappoints.
Are here for dinner. The menu is vast but the food is all very fresh and reasonably priced. I got the Cobb Salad and the portion size was very generous. All of the food coming out looked excellent. This is a nice place inside of the casino that offers fresh, decent quality food at somewhat of a fair price (compared to the other dining options at the Venetian). Only complaint would be the atmosphere is a bit tough with the smoke smell from the casino floor. Otherwise, would highly recommend if you are looking for a casual place with good affordable food.
During my recent visit to the Grand Lux Café at The Venetian, I was amazed by the whole dining experience. From the moment we sat down, our server, (Dan A) was helpful, friendly, and made sure our meal was perfect. We came on the late night. We started with the Buffalo Trace on the Rocks and a Cucumber Lemonade—both great ways to start the night. I also tried the Casamigos Reposado; it was smooth and went great with our food which was absolutely fantastic. We had the Korean Ribs. They were tender and full of flavor with a rich glaze that made every bite amazing. The calamari was crispy and not too greasy. For our main dishes, we got the Caramel Chicken and Sunday Night Pasta. The chicken had the perfect mix of sweet and savory flavors, with just the right amount of caramelization that made it special. The pasta was rich and satisfying, full of hearty flavors. The meal wasn’t cheap, but it was worth every penny. It might have been the best food I had while in Vegas—nothing else matched the taste and quality. Dans great service and attention to detail made the experience even better. I’d come back anytime for another night of great food and service.
Grand Lux Cafe at The Palazzo is a fantastic spot that delivers on all fronts—food, service, and ambiance. Despite the long queue, the wait time was surprisingly short, which speaks volumes about their efficient management. The food was absolutely amazing! We tried the pasta, which was cooked to perfection with rich, flavorful sauces. The omelet was fluffy, packed with delicious fillings, and served hot. For drinks, the hot café mocha and latte were simply divine—rich, creamy, and exactly what you’d hope for to pair with a hearty meal. The service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. With the large seating area, the restaurant didn’t feel cramped despite being busy. The ambiance was excellent—inviting and elegant, with a warm and cozy vibe that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in Las Vegas and looking for a place with great food, efficient service, and a lovely atmosphere, Grand Lux Cafe is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Out party of 7 went for dinner on a Thursday evening, which was not crowded at all. We had a lovely and attentive server, Anthony, who also presented us pictures of the dishes we were going to order (clever, since the menu doesn't show them - too many items on the menu). Some portions were too big for one person, so his recommendation really helped. He was also attentive with food allergies and made the appropriate suggestions. The salad dressings (including ranch) are all gluten free. The atmosphere was great, we didn't feel rushed and everything was delicious. The salmon platter was huge and more than one can eat. Pretty much all dishes are big (American style). The avocado and chicken salad was big and filling for dinner (lots of greens) The taco dish came with three tacos and people were satisfied with the portion size.
Absolutely blown away by my recent visit to Grand Lux Cafe in Las Vegas! I'm still dreaming about the Potato Spring Rolls – a unique and delicious appetizer. But the real showstopper was the Cafe Beef Wellington. It was beyond flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth tender, truly one of the most amazing entrees I've ever had. From start to finish, the dining experience was phenomenal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly special meal!
Recommended here by a family member. Food was incredible, our waitress Gina K was spot on and very attentive. The house coffee is delicious also. Atmosphere was very relaxing, food was served quickly. I had an omelette, but every meal we ordered was exceptional.
After my last experience, I decided to try the location in the Venetian, and I’m happy to say that the concern I had about going light on the kale and grain salad did not carry over. This visit was exactly how it has always been. The bartender was fantastic and very attentive, and he even offered me a club soda to go, which was a great way to end the experience. Keep up the fantastic work, and please continue serving portions that feel in line with the cost.oh and the berries were extremely good and I was so happy it was an option.
One of the rare places on the Strip where you can get reasonably priced food with very large portions. A great place to eat in between your fancier dinner reservations or maybe after losing at the casino lol. We were seated instantly without a reservation. I had the caramel chicken and it was really delicious and crispy (and the portion was massive). Definitely not "fancy", but very satisfying.
Went down for breakfast and the libe was so long we went into the bar and got a tall table immediately. Our waiter brought us waters and took our order promptly. My friend ordered the breakfast buffet and I got steel cut oatmeal. I liked my oatmeal a lot and it had the option of adding bananas and strawberries so I did. However the brown sugar was so hard when I went to get a spoonful it broke and hard chunks flew. The waiter was right there and said nothing and walked away. I was a bit disappointed he didn't say let me get you some fresh brown sugar as I had even said "this must be old." Anyway since sugar melts even when it is rock hard it all was ok. Wish he had brought me a fresh small bowl of more. I ate tye whole thing. My friend got her food at the big buffet and said it was good. After seeing what they had to offer, fresh omelets or fried eggs, potatoes, fruit chopped and fresh juices, Waffles or pancakes, and cereals, to be honest I was a bit disappointed with the cost. $31.00. She ate one plate of food eggs and potatoes and a small bowl of fruit. Seemed a bit overpriced but then she chose not to eat a lot. I would prefer she ordered eggs and pancakes or sone such as those cost significantly less.
I recently had the pleasure of dining here and I can confidently say it’s one of the best spots in Las Vegas! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is inviting, and the service is impeccable. The menu offers an incredible variety of dishes, each prepared to perfection. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were out of this world! Everything we tried was a delight, and I can’t wait to return. 5 out of 5 – a must-visit for anyone in Las Vegas!
So grateful for this place after I had a botched door dash situation where someone stole my food. We came here because it was so late it was one of the few places open near our hotel and it was incredible how high quality the food was at 11 pm. They had s massive menu and they were very flexible with modifications as I'm a vegetarian. Our waiter spent a good chunk of his time fliting with his coworker instead of attending to us but that doesn't discourage me from recommending this spot to you the reader. It was inflated in cost and it was a little loud as it is on the casion floor of tht Venetian but it was well worth it.
Took out of town guests to GLC @ the Venetian on 3/4/26 after seeing the Wizard of Oz. Huge shout out to Louis, our talented wait staff. Louis was very attentive even though we were one of many customers he was attending. His recommendations were spot on and delicious. It was a wonderful ending to a magical evening. Thank you Louis for your service. Grand Lux, thank you for the delicious food! 👍🙏👌❤️
There was 8 of us last Thursday for our moms 80th Birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic and our mom loved it! We picked Grand Lux as there was something for everyone and the reviews were great. The food choices were diverse and helped everyone to get what they wanted. Our server was amazing, prompt and attentive. The food was delicious and we had a great time! Our server brought a birthday treat for mom and also took pictures of our group! It was so much fun and highly recommended!
Grand Lux Cafe quickly became our go-to while staying at The Venetian — we honestly went here almost daily. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, with a huge range of options and really great quality produce. For dinner, the menu is massive, so there’s something for everyone no matter what you feel like. The portions are huge, the food is fresh, and everything we had was consistently good. Staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe is spot on — busy, fun, and exactly what you want in Vegas. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Would absolutely keep coming back.
We came here for an early dinner and were impressed by the extensive menu and delicious food. They have a very spacious dining area, both inside and outside. They also offer great variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with generous portions. We ordered “Stacked Chicken Quesadilla” for appetizer and “Crispy Fish and Chip” and “Chicken Parmesan” for main. The food tasted really good and we had so much leftovers. The service could improve a bit as they were times that took us a while to get our server’s attention to order or ask water.
Appreciate the Venetian having a 24hr cafe. They're hard to come by these days, especially ones with a menu as extensive as the Grand Lux. I had the short rib grilled cheese. Yum! Tender short rib meat and tons of cheese. Sweet potato fries were well done, just like I like them. Husband had the garlic shrimp pasta. Delicious, giant portion! The bread they serve is hard to resist. Everything was perfect including the service. No wait for a table.
We had a fantastic dining experience at Grand Lux Cafe in Las Vegas! The restaurant is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable — perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, generously portioned, and truly great value for the quality you receive. Every dish we ordered was fresh, well-presented, and satisfying. One of the best parts is that no reservations were necessary, which makes it so convenient while visiting the Strip. Located inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, you’re surrounded by an amazing atmosphere, stunning architecture, and some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. Highly recommend Grand Lux Cafe for anyone looking for excellent food, generous portions, great service, and a beautiful dining experience in Las Vegas. We will definitely be back!
I’ve been coming to this restaurant with my kids that are now 30 year-old adult for over 20 years. It’s always a staple when I come to Vegas. The one at the Venetian is better than the one in the closet in my opinion although they’re both good always leave with a smile and a full belly. Just love love love this place anybody that hates it go somewhere else
We enjoyed breakfast. We weren’t aware that the breakfast menu ends at 11:00am. We got seated at 10:54 and were able to order in time. They do have breakfast items available after that time but it does not include all their items. The kids breakfast ends at 11:00am. I ordered an omelette that came with hash browns and toast. The omelette was good. The hash browns were OK. It comes with 4 pieces of toast. The plate was big enough to share. My daughter ordered the Belgian waffle with strawberries. It was the regular menu. It’s soft and crunchy and served with powdered sugar and a delicious maple butter. She is a waffle connoisseur and she says this is the best waffle she has had. My youngest daughter ordered the kids menu French toast. It comes with 2 large slices and strawberries. The French toast is puffy and delicious! She also really enjoyed her meal. My husband ordered a burger that’s served with onion rings and bacon and cheese. It’s served with your choice of side, my husband ordered fries which were really good. The atmosphere is a little overwhelming. A large dining room with tables and some areas with shared booths. There’s no division in the dining room so it’s a large Vegas dining room. The service was good. Our server Nestor took really good care of us and got us everything we needed. Very reminiscent of the Cheesecake Factory menu and food. It’s a place we will definitely visit for breakfast while in Vegas.
Got a bite to eat at the Grand Lux Cafe. We ordered the buffalo chicken rolls as an appetizer - served with buffalo sauce and blue cheese on the side and some celery sticks. They were really good. I ordered the Club Sandwich with a salad it was really good, it wasnt overly toasted and the flavor was perfect for a club. My friend got the smoked salmon platter she was happy with her choice on the lighter side. We were seated quickly and our server brought over drinks shortly after. Our server was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant is much larger than it looks from the outside. Its darker lighting in the restaurant and some of the tables are a bit too close together for my liking but not to close you become one table. *Update* We went back to Grand Lux for dinner. As we ate late due to going to the Dita Von Teese show at Voltaire. We were seated immediately and our server came over and introduced himself and took our drink orders. We ordered the Asain Style Green Beans as an appetizer which were 10/10 so flavorful. I opted to treat myself and ordered a ribeye with their mashed potatoes and subbed for broccoli because we had green beans as an appetizer. My best friend got their sliders for her meal, they were so cute and they were delicious. My steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, probably the best steak I've had for a while. Our waiter Himad was incredible! He was so sweet and attentive. He kept our cups full and our table cleared. He checked on us frequently and was very personable. He definitely made a difference in our dining experience.
This was our first time at this location as we've previously eaten at the Palazzo location. This one was very comparable as the food was good quality, the service was quick and friendly, and the food came out quickly. I ordered the pastrami hash and it was good and not overly greasy like some pastrami can be. When describing this place to people, I find the best comparison would be the Cheesecake Factory. Massive menu, huge dining room, and the kitchen has to work like a machine to get the food out so quickly and efficiently. We'll definitely be back
Went for a brunch on Sunday and there was waiting line. However, we were seated since we were a couple and there was a table for 2. We tried the garden omelet, waffles, and Avocado Benedict. The food was OK, but I’ll give it 5 stars for the waffles. The service was nice with a welcoming attitude. We’ll come back again.
Last November, my sisters and I went on a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my sister's birthday. During the trip, we visited the Grand Lux cafe and had the chance to try their food. The price of the food was reasonable and good for a quick bite, but the food was not exceptional. However, the overall ambiance and service were better than average. Even though it's not among the top 5 restaurants for me, I will visit again and recommend the restaurant.
On our vegas trip , this place became our dinner destination for a night. We ordered pasta and spaghetti and a big mango flavoured strawberry drink . The food was decent though. The only thing as an Italian food lover I didn’t like was the bread they served in the start of the meal. I have had Italian cuisine in many famous restaurants around the globe now , they serve mouth watering soft bread with crust crunch and the dressing of olive oil . Here the bread was thick as a log and was served with a block of butter. So this can be improved I believe. Other dishes were good . Have a look on the photos .
Calm atmosphere with many options, and good to great food. Visited twice on our late April 2024 trip for a late dinner and then again for breakfast upon checking out / before heading back to the airport. Servers were great at both visits particularly our second one for breakfast and food portions were absolutely enormous. A perfect spot when visiting with a group who almost always want something different :)
A must stop for us when in Vegas, semi upmarket vibes in the beautiful Venetian hotel without the upmarket price tag. Menu is properly too big takes upto an hour to look through and decide, but good because no matter what you're in the mood for they have. Was left a little underwhelmed by the Mac Cheese this time around though. Very dry noodles not much cheese or flavour so will give this a miss next time. Everything else though was delicious. Cheaper for 2 that it is at most hotel food courts so give it a try.
Took my son here for his birthday. We got the calamari appetizer. He got beef wellington for dinner and I got salmon. Both of our meals were delicious. We picked this restaurant, however, because he wanted chocolate lava cake for his birthday. Turns out they don't have that here even though their online menu has it. He ended up getting the brownie sundae which was good, but not what he had his hopes on when we went here.
OMG best pancakes I’ve had in a long time! I should start by saying I did not go in the restaurant. There was very long line, and tend to avoid those. So we decided to order to go and eat right there in the Bakery. It was totally worth it! The cinnamon pecan pancakes were delicious, eggs, hash browns, sausage, even the plain bagel was good 👌🏽
You really can't go wrong here with any meal -- breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the menu is absolutely massive and we were satisfied with everything we ordered. If you are with a larger group this is a solid choice because there is something for everyone in the menu. Essentially an upscale diner. Prices aren't bad, food comes out promptly despite a packed house, service is good. Fun to people-watch in the lobby if you are seated near the banisters. I'd come back for sure.
We enjoyed our time here. Food and service went down since our last time here. Atmosphere is 5/5. The cheese cake was too soft but the cream buff was perfect. The burger tasted good but the bun was soggy. We had to ask for the bun and butter ourselves. All in all it was worth it for us. No wait time.
I dined at the Grand Lux Cafe in Las Vegas on a late afternoon on Labor’s day. It is located at the Venetian hotel. The ambience here is too good. That restaurant is grand. It has a nice bar and the dining area is humongous. This place has got great vibes. We ordered Mango Mule and Tahitian Pineapple cocktails. Mango Mule was a light drink slightly on the sweeter side. Tahitian Pineapple was strong. We ordered crab cakes and volcano shrimp as appetizers. Appetizers came in pretty quickly after the drinks. Shrimp was too good. I really liked it. Crab cakes were also good. We ordered lunch crispy caramel chicken and miso glazed salmon as entrees. It took some time for the entrees to come. They gave us a 5 minutes heads up before we got the entrees. I liked the salmon. It had a nice flavor to it. Chicken was okay. Overall the appetizers were better than the entrees.
Great service, good food, generous portions, fair prices, warm, inviting, comfortable furnishings and decor. Open all day for breakfast, lunch & dinner. A little reminiscent of the Cheesecake Factory but with the added option of a buffet if you're in the mood. I had the Grand Cobb Salad, it was fresh and tasty.
Skip this buffet. All the food we seen coming out on the menu for breakfast looked amazing. But the buffet was so limited. Omelette station, fruit, waffles, bacon, sausage, and ham. Bread station had a few pastries and again limited. Our server was friendly and kept our drinks full. I would eat here again, but off the menu.
Its great that the Venetician has a 24/7 restaurant with such an extensive menu .. Very impressed with the service, from being quickly provided with seating to the care provided by my server. I was not impressed with the food however as it was very bland and was just so unimpressive. I ordered the salmon Benedict on a hash brownie and unfortunately this was just not great. The price was fine but as far as salmon benny s go this was not it. However very friendly staff and did not make me feel unwelcome. Great service.
El desayuno muy rico, mi recomendacion benedictinos con avocado. El servicio mucho que desear la hostess nos comento se pueden sentar donde gusten, despues el mesero no quito la mesa y nos asigno otra muy mal servicio.
If you like Cheesecake Factory you’ll love it here, if not, best move on somewhere else. I definitely would have preferred to sit farther inside, the sounds and more so the smells of the casino detracted from the experience a lot since there is so separation between the two. Overall the food was just okay. Nothing to write home about but decent enough to eat. The pumpkin cheesecake was a standout however, super light, not overly spiced or too sweet, I could have had several slices!
Food was fine, overpriced for what it is, however, the roasted beef fires were delicious! Probably best I’ve ever had, it needs more meet though. The beef Wellington is not a lot what we were expecting, is lore a deconstructed plate (means it’s not the original) is more like a beef with biscuits. Great experience anyway, love the dark lighting and that the stay open until late compared to many restaurants in Las Vegas.
Had a quite dry Salmon and carrot cake for lunch and smoked salmon eggs Benedict for breakfast that was cold. Very unimpressive especially for the cost. Service was superb. I would not dine here again except fir maybe a salad.
This place is ok if you are staying at the Venetian and need a convenient place to eat. Line moves fast. It is a restaurant where you order with a waiter. There is also a very small breakfast buffet that is very reasonably priced at $30 but it has a very limited selection. Bear in mind if you are looking to order breakfast off the menu, it ends at 11am for kids (pancakes, etc).
TL:DR - quite disappointing for something to be qualified as "Opulent" while being inside a 5-star hotel/resort. We came for breakfast around 9 AM on a Friday morning, it wasn't busy but the services was visibly slow due to what appear to be short staffed. After we were seated, took our waiter about 10 minutes to swing by our table to give us the menu and then immediately rushed off to attend other tables. Service aside, the food was "meh" at best both from a presentation and taste. Presentation - I mean as you can see from the picture, everything seems to be rushed (short staffed maybe?), the whole plate looks to be dumped together and fly out of kitchen. Local dinner would had done a better job than w/e that thing is. Taste - Toast was severely overcooked. Burn spots (again, see picture) even overpowering the powder sugar, which is quite impressive. Smoke salmon had a very fishy smell/taste to it, and we didn't even finish at the end. I know I am being nice with my 3/5 rating, but management really need to step up their game. Friday morning being short staffed and every portion of the experience felt rushed isn't a way to run a business inside a luxury resort.
Cheesecake vibes, very friendly service but decent, at best food. The steak and eggs were a huge disappointment. Potatoes too crispy, half a ribeye for the steak, WAY overpriced for what you received. I would not go back here or recommend it. The food did come out relatively quick, and again the service was great!
It's been a very long time since I have dined here. We ordered food for a late night take out some it was very convenient since we were staying upstairs. We ordered a few things to munched on - burger, sliders, ribs, calamari, and a salad. The burger was a bit dry. The ribs had a good flavor to it, but the portion size was a bit off.
The pasta carbonara with chicken was a delightful dish. The sauce was creamy and rich, coating each piece of pasta perfectly. The chicken was flavorful and well-seasoned, complementing the dish beautifully. $30.50. Overall, it was a well-executed and enjoyable meal. The double smash cheeseburger was decent. While the meat was well-seasoned and the cheese melted nicely, the patties lacked the signature crispy edges that elevate a smash burger. The bun was soft and pleasant, but the lettuce wasn’t as fresh as it could have been. Served lukewarm, the burger didn’t leave a lasting impression. $20.95. Deluxe Drive In Burger ($19.95) and Avocado-Chipotle Burger ($22.90) were both decent as well. If you’re craving a burger, these will satisfy, but they doesn’t stand out as anything extraordinary. The sweet potato fries were delicious! They looked great and were evenly cooked. They had just the right balance of sweetness and salt, with seasoning that made them really tasty. Some were softer, while others had a nice crispy outside and soft inside. Overall, they were super delicious, and I’d definitely recommend giving them a try! House salad dressing was good. The restaurant was very busy with a lively atmosphere. I was sat immediately upon arrival around 6:35 and the food arrive around 7:15. Overall enjoyed the meal!
Ventaja es que está abierto las 24 horas.Pero por las madrugadas el menú será limitado a sándwiches, pasta ensalada y una pequeña pizza. Está dentro del Casino del hotel The Venettian…
Pastries are lower quality than Starbucks. Just your basic quick service, artificial sweets. Be aware of the protein box the strawberries were already rotten and you get a laughable portion of brie cheese. Not worth the price. Coffee was good and team members were great. 5/5 One star is the for the coffee latte 5/5 One star is for the team members ***Three stars taken off because of the food quality.
Gone way downhill. I don’t know how our old favorite coffee shop style restaurant gets 4.5 stars? It has been absolutely terrible our last few visits to town. Truly disappointing. We have stayed at the Venetian & Palazzo for nearly twenty years. We like to eat at the restaurants including the Lux. Our last view visits the food is pretty bad. I’m sad to write this review. Examples for breakfasts, eggs were cold and cooked wrong. The “velvety avocado (a part of my eggs Benedict was like a rock, could not eat it. Every dish we had, probably six to eight meals - dinner, late night - not good. This WAS a great (around the clock) go-to place. We miss the good food. But this last time, no joke, nearly all of it barely edible. :( We enjoyed many other meals at other Venetian / Palazzo restaurants which well above average (except Yardbird 🤢). We recommend many other restaurants at these resorts but not the Grand Lux unfortunately. Follow up: The manager reached out and expressed that the feedback has been received and is being addressed by the management team. It was sincere communications on their part & is much appreciated on my end. Thank you.
We dropped by for dinner after wizard of oz at the sphere. Service was lacking as the place was packed because they were short handed. We asked for cutlery twice which did not come, so we ate our tacos and burger with our hands. Food was subpar, one dimensional and tasted bland. We didn’t finish it. The saving grace was their cocktails and smoothies which were really good and Large. One time visit for us.
The restaurant is cool but I was not impressed with my food or how long it took to make. I ordered avocado toast it took about 20 to 30 minutes to come out. The food didn't have much flavor. There was something crunchy inside the guacamole as well which I did not like. I think it might have been a ground up eggshell I'm not sure. The waitress was kind but she left the menu on the table the whole time. I felt rushed to get in and get out. The place is loud as well. Overall I think I would have been better going to Starbucks.
Beautiful restaurant, disappointing dining experience. The food is mediocre at best, with oversized portions that could easily feed two people—but quantity doesn’t make up for quality. Our waiter carried the kind of weary look that comes from being underpaid, and the service reflected it. And don’t get me started about the lousy cheesecake. This feels more like a spot for large families with restless kids than a place where you’d go to truly enjoy a meal.
⭐☆☆☆☆ Stopped by this coffee spot at the Venetian today and asked for a table outside with a casino view (several available tables). I was told those tables were “for families only,” and as a solo traveler, I wasn’t allowed to sit there. This isn’t the first time in Vegas I’ve experienced businesses treating solo travelers as if our money doesn’t matter. The truth is, I often spend more on a meal alone than many families do together. Yet I was made to feel less important simply because I wasn’t part of a group. For a place that thrives on tourism, it’s disappointing to see solo guests treated as second-class. Hospitality should value all customers equally — not just families.
