Sparrow + Wolf Las Vegas Reviews
The simplest way I can describe this place is to just go and find out. The reason why I say that is because they are fine dining not specific to a genre and that their menu can always update. But that’s the good thing because my suggestion is to go there and go only based on what they suggest. Because that’s what we did and that’s what made it enjoyable. The service made it easy because they were able to make suggestions and also adjust based on our liking. Not just with food, but with the beverages (wine) as well. We sat at the bar which I felt made it more entertaining. You’re able to get a slight glimpse of the kitchen as it’s this white glowing light that peeks behind the bar. You can also look at all the different types of glasses they have. Overall I say give this place a chance as it’s a nice spot to just try something new and not be too specific on what you eat. Just take a gamble and see what you end up with!
Really enjoyed our meal here. Everything we had was delicious, although the tile fish dish was slightly salty. Absolutely loved the cocktails! Things that are must orders are the mini tuna tacos, the octopus risotto, and the sourdough bread. I need to emphasize this bread again bc it was really that good! Highly recommended!
Best meal we've ever had Felicia, our server, was wonderful. Great recommendations. Amber, the assistant general manager, made us feel like family. Rest of the crew flawlessly executed their roles I plan to write a novel-sized review and start a food blog with this experience as my first entry For now I'll reminisce on the food and share some pictures. Every dish was brilliant. Every mocktail was perfect
We tried this place recently for a guy’s dinner and had a great time. One of the guys in our party found this place online and made us a reservation. It is off the strip, but a reasonably short trip. We debated doing the multiple course dinner, but opted to split a bunch of items instead. Our server helped us pick and choose some items so we didn’t have too much food for the three of us. We tried one each of the snack items: blue fin tuna tacos, isaan sausage, and the dates. We then tried the beef tartare and sweet corn agnolotti. For mains, we tried the black pepper honey pork copa, lamb, and ribeye. Oh my! Everything was so flavorful and the portion sizes were great for our group to try them all. So many good options. Our server was friendly and informative and she gave great recommendations. They even have a sommelier if you need wine recommendations. We can’t wait to come back to try more menu items.
So many people had recommended Sparrow + Wolf, and I finally got to experience it for my friend’s birthday dinner. We sat at the lively, centrally located bar and had excellent service from start to finish. The food was outstanding—full of bold flavors and creative ingredient combinations I’d never tried before. Every dish felt like a surprise in the best way. 🤤 Whether you’re a local or visiting Las Vegas, Sparrow + Wolf is absolutely worth your time. You’ll leave happy (and probably planning your next visit).
Sparrow + Wolf provides a truly dynamic and impressive dining experience, ultimately deserving of a definitive 5-star rating. The quality of the food and the core service are splendid, showcasing creative and expertly prepared dishes that define modern Las Vegas dining. Our evening did, unfortunately, include a disastrous hiccup with the service execution. This type of misstep could have easily make me walk out, but how the situation was managed is what truly sets this restaurant apart and confirms its elite status. Upon explaining the issue to the restaurant's manager, Luis, he immediately addressed the situation with professionalism and genuine concern. Luis ensured that the mistake was fully resolved and made sure to take care of us, completely transforming a point of disappointment into a major positive. The seamless service recovery left us entirely satisfied and made me a happy customer. We left deeply impressed by the managerial oversight and commitment to excellence. I am sincerely looking forward to visiting Sparrow + Wolf when I make a return trip to Las Vegas.
One of my absolute FAVORITE restaurants on planet earth. I’m a big foodie and this place doesn’t disappoint. My husband and I come to Vegas once a year for work and we always go out of our way to eat dinner here one night. I’ve never tried anything I didn’t love. Do yourself a favor and make reservations here. You’ll be so happy you did.
An interesting restaurant with a well-executed concept. The food is flavorful and very well prepared, with thoughtfully crafted dishes and great presentation. The atmosphere is beautiful and pleasant, making it a good choice for both a relaxed dinner and a special occasion. Another positive point is the easy parking, which is always a plus in Las Vegas. A great option for those looking for good food off the Strip.
Sparrow + Wolf is elegant without being pretentious — the kind of place that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t need to show off. From the outside, it’s a little deceiving and almost feels like a speakeasy. One heads-up: the negative pressure at the entrance makes the door oddly hard to open and creates a mini wind tunnel effect. Avoid the first two high-top tables near the hostess stand — they tried to seat us there and it didn’t feel like we were actually in the restaurant. Plus, every time someone entered or left, you’d get blasted with howling air. We moved to the bar instead, which turned out to be the best decision. Andrew behind the bar was the ultimate host — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Sitting at the bar also gives you a great perspective into the kitchen. It was spotless, tightly run, and impressive to watch. The chef was very serious but clearly kind and respectful with his staff. The team was industrious, focused, and somehow still looked like they were having fun — a well-oiled machine. Start with the sourdough. Seriously. It’s made from an ancient starter that’s over 400 years old, and the butter is rich and indulgent in a way that’s hard to describe — unlike anything you’ve tasted before. Get the grilled oysters; they’re phenomenal. You’ll be licking the shells. The beet salad is a work of art — a true 3D painting on a plate. Don't miss out on the oxtail hummus. And definitely follow all of this with the lamb — it was clearly a favorite and seemed to be on nearly every table around us. The Kurobuta pork Asian-style dish brings serious heat, so if you’re sensitive to spice, proceed with caution. Portions are on the smaller side, so plan accordingly if you’re a big eater like me. That said, everything is intentional, thoughtful, and executed beautifully. This is exactly the kind of place you want when you go out to eat — food-driven, welcoming, and authentic. The best part? Getting off the Strip and dining with locals. I highly recommend Sparrow + Wolf, and next time I’d happily do the five-course tasting with wine pairing.
Awesome experience! We read about this restaurant online and wanted to give it a try. Great shareable plates different to what you can find elsewhere. We enjoyed the octopus risotto and the duck, those were our favorites. Shoutout to Felicia for being an amazing server. Only disappointment, was they were out of two cocktails that we would have ordered. Thankfully the ones we tried, we also enjoyed! Spring Mountain Sour & was our favorite. Loved the atmosphere.
Amazing meal off strip. Highly recommend. Food was incredibly tasty and the service was flawless. We had some food allergies and food restrictions and they accommodated everything quite well. I will definitely go back.
Very delicious visit. We're first timers. The food was very delicious and well thought through. Every course was perfectly designed and cooked. It was a real pleasure. The sommelier recommended a great choice. The service was excellent trained. Thank you so much .
So I couldn't comment on the food because my group came from Nalsso next door, BUT... The atmosphere in here is upbeat and yet still chill. I ordered the "Chai'd and True." If you're in to old fashions or Manhattans, this is your drink! Overall, I'd certainly be interested in coming back for dinner if the waiting service was any indication of the bar service we received. They were all friendly. Our bartender, Terry, was on point with his service, and his fellow bartender was clearly fully engaged in taking care of customers and drink orders. Overall, we had a great time and will be back. PS, ask Terry for the "Chocolate Cake" shot. It really did taste like a chocolate cake and was amazing to drink. Also, he's exceptional at making tasty non-alcoholic drinks that still give you that craft cocktail taste.
Excellent restaurant. The flow of the menu was perfect and at the end, incredibly satisfying. I'd come back in a second. 🤙 Side note, our waitress asked if I wanted the martini shaken or stirred (which matters). Extra points. 🍸
My wife and I visited Sparrow + Wolf during our recent trip to Las Vegas. We were looking for a nice secluded dinner before our friends arrived in town. We elected to go with the tasting menu and wine pairings. We were blown away by the food! The staff were amazing as they guided us though all of the pairings. Las Vegas has so many options for food, but this will be the first restaurant I recommend. I cant wait to go back.
This was one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re in the Vegas area, and our foodie, stop here. The trout and pear crudo was decadent. The plating was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the flavors were complex, unique, and delightful!
What a great restaurant away from the Strip. Excellent food and wine pairing. It is rather noisy because it's always packed the 3 times that we went. This is our go to fine dining in Vegas.
Came the night of Feb 3 2026. Absolutely fantastic menu, one of those rare places where everything on the menu stands out and looks great. It’s a must go
This fusion restaurant offers diverse menu of quality perform to meet all dietary interests. They offer regular and set menu. If the latter, come hungry! Cocktails also thoughtfully done and large spectrum. We were a group of 6, well attended for a 2+ hour culinary tasting adventure. Our groups favorite was the mushroom/duck offering. Leave the kids at home unless it's a teenage foodie special outing. Parking is plentiful. James Beard... Where are you?
I would like to thank Malena first and foremost along with the rest of the wait staff for their outstanding service. To the kitchen, thank you for preparing me the best meal I’ve ever had. The Banh Cuon was the single best dish I’ve ever tasted. I’m still blown away how you got the Pork Copa to taste and eat like an amazing cut of beef. Take a bow, it was all more than I could have ever dreamt of! If I didn’t live 2,500 miles away, this would be an experience I would happily indulge in all the time. Thank you again.
Our server was seriously the best and set an amazing atmosphere, the food was heavenly, and the drinks were creative. Genuinely give this place a try, it was so worth it
Exceptional Service, Impeccable Flavors, and One Very Forgiving Candle 5/5 Stars Sparrow + Wolf continues to prove why it’s a crown jewel of the Chinatown dining scene. We visited recently before a trip to the symphony, and the experience was nothing short of a masterclass in hospitality. The Highlights: The Sommelier: I was blown away when our sommelier referenced specific notes on a bottle of wine we had enjoyed during our previous visit. That level of attention to detail is rare and made us feel like VIPs from the moment we sat down. The Food: Every dish was impeccable. The kitchen is clearly firing on all cylinders, balancing bold innovation with perfect execution. The "Secret Weapon" Drink: To cap off the meal, we were treated to an impromptu shaken chilled espresso and Sambuca. It was sophisticated, delicious, and the perfect high-energy finish to the meal. A Note to the Staff: While my spouse stayed sober to safely navigate us to the symphony, I may have been a bit too relaxed. I managed to knock over a glass holder containing a battery-powered candle—I am still incredibly embarrassed! The staff handled my clumsiness with total grace, making a potentially awkward moment feel like a non-issue. If you want a meal where the staff remembers your palate better than you do, and the atmosphere is as welcoming as the food is refined, look no further. We’ll be back (and I promise to keep my elbows tucked in next time!).
Outstanding service, creative dishes and fresh ingredients. Highlights were the Peace Dove cocktail, oxtail hummus, pork flank, octopus, and banh cuon. But everything was simply exceptional, both in presentation and quality. I dined with a group of 7 and everything was served family style, which was wonderful because it meant everyone got to try everything. Our waitress did a fantastic job of recommending how many of each dish to order to ensure everyone had enough to try, and coursing everything out. After being subjected to fairly basic cuisine on the strip all week, Sparrow + Wolf was a welcome infusion of culinary excitement. I will definitely be making this a regular stop any time I'm in Vegas!
I booked the chef's testing menu with wine pairings at Sparrow + Wolf to celebrate my fiance and I's engagement. The experience the team at S+W provided was nothing short of magical. From the warm welcome when we walked in to the enthusiasm, care, and attention to detail they showed throughout the night to ensure we were having an excellent dinner. A stand out for me with the wine pairing is how they not only gave us the background of each wine but they also educated us on how to consume it to make the food and wine play off each other. And oh boy did they play. The pairing choices were flawless all the way to the desert; and following their instructions on how to consume them was revelatory. In fact, the Vietnamese coffee desert itself was two desserts in one, the second one unlocked by sipping the paired wine right after finishing a bite. The desert turned from a coffee forward but light flavor into straight dark chocolate covered blackberries! To cap off the night, they honored us with a copy of our engagement dinner menu signed by all the chefs. Truly, chef's kiss. Bravo and cheers to the team at Sparrow+ Wolf!
What an amazing experience we had here! I have allergies to the most difficult and commonly used things and this was the first place that literally changed their menu and wine pairing to accommodate my limitations. No fuss, no second guessing just simple hey, here are our options, what would you like? The food was delightful Each plate was a work of delicious art, this team of chefs know what they're doing. Highly recommend their chefs tasting menu along with the wine pairing, it's worth every single penny. Truly a place of culinary excellence Highly recommend
Go off the strip if you are looking for an exquisite fine dining experience. We had the tasting menu, with wine pairing which was amazing. Worthy of a Michelin star. And the service almost deserving the 2nd. The food was diverse and spectacular. With tastes from all over the world in this contemporary American vibe restaurant. The portions were large for a tasting menu, we were struggling to finish all the dishes (4 courses, 10 unique dishes) Will definitely go again if we are at Vegas again.
Sparrow + Wolf exceeded expectations. We were seated at the bar and were served the tasting menu. The casual yet sophisticated look of the restaurant itself would not suggest the quality of food served here. In a good way! There isn’t a feeling of pretentiousness or formality often associated with food of this caliber. Instead the ambiance invites guests to relax and enjoy absolutely astounding food. The staff are all warm, professional, and playful to be around. I have eaten in Vancouver, BC, NYC, Thailand, and elsewhere in Las Vegas and this is by far some of the best food I have ever had the pure pleasure of eating. As a has been bartender these were easily the best cocktails we had- complex and well crafted, all four that we ordered paired well with our courses- whether intentional or not.
Wonderful service and atmosphere. Creative cocktails and delicious food. Highly recommend leaving the strip to go!
The service staff were so humble and respectful and so kindly facilitated such an intimate, lovely meal experience! The flavor profiles were truly exceptional. Kudos to the whole team at this great restaurant! Our group is so diverse and very picky and everyone simply loved the food and the experience.
Phenomenal first-time experience at Sparrow & Wolf, we will definitely be back and recommend it to visiting friends craving an awesome tasting menu. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Helpful, friendly, personable, and highly knowledgeable about the cuisine. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Delicious, perfectly seasoned creative combinations as part of our tasting menu order. We enjoyed everything we tried, and have a short list of our favorites to order the next time we visit. Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozy, intimate feel with modern decor. The anti-stuffy.
This place was awesome! We had the tasting menu, sorry for the lack of pictures. Every course was like an explosion of wonderful flavors to experience. I recommend 10 times!
One of the surprises of our recent food excursion. Not because we were worried but more that it takes quite a bit to wow us. The flavor profiles and complexity of their dishes were on display. I can't speak enough other then each visit to vegas will require sparrow and wolf as a constant visit.
From the moment you step into this American restaurant, you know you’re in for something truly special. The warm, inviting atmosphere immediately sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The dim lighting, stylish yet comfortable decor, and intimate seating arrangements create a cozy and welcoming ambiance, making it the perfect setting for both a romantic evening or a celebratory night out with friends. But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the exceptional service. From the hostess to the sommelier, every member of the staff is not only knowledgeable but genuinely passionate about creating a memorable experience for their guests. They are attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every detail is taken care of while allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the meal. Whether it’s explaining the origins of an ingredient, suggesting the perfect wine pairing, or accommodating dietary preferences with ease, their professionalism and warmth shine through in every interaction. And then, of course, there’s the food—an absolute masterpiece. The tasting menu is a culinary journey, carefully crafted to highlight bold flavors, exquisite techniques, and top-quality ingredients. The oxtail hummus is a revelation, with the deep, rich flavors of slow-braised oxtail complementing the creamy, velvety hummus. The pork secreto, a lesser-known but incredibly flavorful cut, is cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with smoky, savory goodness. And the foie gras? Simply divine. Silky and indulgent, it melts in your mouth, offering a perfect balance of richness and delicate sweetness. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with an outstanding selection of wines, enhancing and elevating the flavors to new heights. The sommelier’s choices are impeccable, seamlessly complementing the tasting menu with wines that add depth and complexity to every bite. Every aspect of the dining experience here is executed with precision, passion, and a deep respect for both ingredients and hospitality. It’s rare to find a restaurant that excels in all areas—ambience, service, and cuisine—but this establishment does so effortlessly. If you’re looking for a truly extraordinary dining experience that lingers in your memory long after the meal is over, this is the place to be.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and loved every moment. The food was very tasty and looked delicious, the staff were amazing, especially Ridge. I ordered the "Kalbi Eye of Rib" Steak, and my wife ordered the "Banana Leaf grilled Grouper" fish, both were amazing and very tasty. The "Sage me from Myself" and "She Berry Bonita" cocktails were refreshing and their signature desert was delicious. The only non-positive thing that we had was the "Ancient Grain warm Sourdough" which felt like 2-3 days old bread that was warmed up, but it didn't bother us or affected our amazing experience we had. We had a blast, and will definitely return again.
Everything was fantastic. Food is extremely fresh. Clean and healthy eating that lets you walk out of the restaurant feeling good instead of bloated and tired. Service was excellent, and this restaurant is one of the best values in all of Las Vegas. Highly recommend.
I wish I could give it 6 stars. Genuinely one of the best meals I've ever had. Our server Ruby explained everything in such amazing detail. We got the oxtail hummus, octopus risotto, Japanese potato, and Porterhouse as the main. Everything was absolutely excellent. The porterhouse came with 7 different "sides" so you really get to try it in many different ways. The risotto was truly delicious, octopus was perfectly tender. Japanese potato was star of the show. Absolutely excellent. I would absolutely come back to Vegas just to come back to Sparrow + Wolf. 11/10.
Fabulous meal! Creative flavors, textures and combinations. The veggie focused dishes were very novel. Super delicious. And, great cocktails! I would come here again! It's also great that they are part of the inKind app.
World class and exceptional in every way. The menu has been carefully created and the execution was flawless. The entire team was kind and professional from start to finish. The restaurant offers hospitality in it’s truest sense. This meal will be discussed and remembered by my family for years to come. An absolute gem.
Best foot I’ve ever had in Vegas, hands-down. And the service was top-notch! Wish I’d gotten the names of our servers and staff that helped us because they were all amazing! Ordered the tasting menu with the wine pairing and was not disappointed. If you don’t want the full wine pairing, you should at least get the sparkling sake. It’s divine. Every bite of food was scrumptious, but the corn agnolotti, foie gras, oysters, and coffee ice cream were our top 4 (too hard to narrow it down more than that). Overall, it was a perfect evening here. We’ll definitely be back!
Sparrow + Wolf delivers one of those rare meals where nothing feels accidental. Every dish was thoughtful, balanced, and precise, flavors layered with intention rather than excess. You could feel the discipline behind the creativity. The service matched the food beat for beat. Calm, coordinated, and fully in control without ever being stiff or performative. Plates arrived when they should, explanations were concise and confident, and the room moved with an ease that only comes from a team that truly knows what they’re doing. It’s the kind of place that reminds you what great restaurants are actually about. Care, purpose, and respect for the craft at every level. If I were the owner, I’d be deeply proud of what’s being done here.
I truly don't remember the last time I have been to a restaurant that was just an all-around amazing experience. I called at the last minute, hoping to get in a group of six and the hostess was really amazing and got us reserved for the bar. the staff was incredibly nice and really helpful when it came to the menu and suggesting items I didn't know what wine to order and they picked it for me and it was perfect. We ordered a bunch of items off the menu and I can promise there was not a less than perfect bite in anything. In fact I was pleasantly surprised that there was items that I absolutely loved that I didn't think I would like. The trout with Pair was incredible. I ordered two different desserts and found that I actually really loved the sweet potato Pain Purdue. Highly highly recommend!
Absolutely incredible meal. Go for the tasting menu. Don’t even question it. The oxtail humus. The oysters. The lamb and the pork. And foi gras might have been the standout dish. The flavors and crunch and spice was a perfect combo. Would not even hesitate one second to come back again. The only miss of the night was a 45 minute wait between our pasta dish and the pork. Like really? Couldn’t haven’t brought us some bread or something while we were waiting? On a tasting menu a wait that long between dishes or a little much.
Sparrow + Wolf offers an exceptional dining experience that stands out for creativity and quality. The food is bold, well-balanced, and expertly prepared, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful flavor combinations that make each dish memorable. Presentation is appealing, reflecting attention to detail in every plate. Service is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, helping guide diners through the menu and enhancing the overall experience. The atmosphere is modern yet comfortable, lively without being overwhelming, making it perfect for a special night out or an elevated casual meal. From start to finish, Sparrow + Wolf delivers on food, service, and ambiance, leaving a lasting impression that makes you want to return.
I thought this would be more like a fine dining restaurant. But when we got there, it was so loud that I compared it to a bar. Its small so I suggest you make reservations. Ordered the wood roasted arrowhead cabbage. It was good. New Zealand venison tartare was interesting. It was like ground venison. I liked it but not what im used to. Golden tilefish as the entree. That was good. The heart of the rib eye was very tender and flavorful. The food was good but the portions were small. Good news: no leftovers. Bad news: we ate again and hour later.
On a recent trip to Vegas, my companion and I elected Sparrow and Wolf for our one dining "splurge." It was overall a great experience. Highlights - some of the best oysters I have ever had, fantastic service, nice music, lively considering our early dinner time. The only critical feedback is some of the portions were exceptionally small which is expected for fine dining but, for example, the foie dish that I was most excited for gave us about 1.5 bites each and I did not really get the full flavor (although my companion did and loved it). The ribeye was excellent but came with a very small amount of potatoes and onions. The couple of bites I got with the potatoes and onions were delicious, but then most of the steak was eaten plain. It was also very crowded, we were about 6 inches away from the people next to us so not much space for any kind of private conversation. Overall a great experience.
Food is superb and very tasty. Unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired. At times it felt like our server forgot about us and hadn’t checked in on us for long periods of time. And the food took forever to come out. We waited almost two hours from the time we put in our order before we had our entree served to us. Even appetizers like bread took almost 30 minutes. A man stopped by (I believe the manager) and apologized for how long the food was taking and offered us free glasses of wine to pair which was a nice gesture. Overall I really enjoyed the food. I might come back with friends sometime, but it wouldn’t be my first choice just because of the very slow service. I would’ve given this 3 stars but the wine and apology from the manager makes me bump it up to 4.
Great food and variety, you probably need to come with a large party to get a good spread but not large as us (6) so everyone gets good portions. Porterhouse is excellent, but you can’t miss on the menu. Cocktails were a little less impressive but still complemented the meal well.
Great little spot! We really enjoyed the flavors and unique atmosphere at sparrow and wolf! The food was fantastic! I really loved the Asian infusion inspired takes on several of their dishes. Their unique take an a charcuterie plate was spectacular. Only downside was dining area was a little cramped and service was solid, but not equal to the food.
Hate to give such a low rating for this place. I came here expecting to be wowed because of all the great reviews and FB groups highly recommending this place. I wasn’t. We also received a plate that were chipped in a couple of places and was told this was fine to use because they paint the chipped edges with gold as to not throw them away but to reuse it, forgot what they called it. But since I was paying for such an expensive dinner, I’d prefer a normal, non fractured plate. Service was great and seated promptly, but we did have reservations in advance. The food was fine nothing to brag about. From what we ordered, the kid only enjoyed the clams and I thought their hot sauce was amazing lol. I personally wouldn’t return but I think for those who really want to try this restaurant, they should. The hype wasn’t there for us.
Went here for a birthday dinner because i like trying new places but very disappointed the food was not great at all some of the dishes were aweful. Some dishes were not bad but nothing stood out as delicious but there was one thing that stood out and that was the price. The price was ridiculous for small portions and i compare it to many other restaurants which the portion size is usually double for the same price. The staff was nice but honestly i would never come here again nor will i recommend it. This was a new experience and new food which i like to do is try new restaurants and the food they offer and this one was just a bad choice. $1000+ for medicre food with royalty prices that was not fulfilling at all and we had to go get dome fast food after.
