Okay there's a new chicken🐓 coop restaurant in town in Lawndale Pollo campero on Hawthorne boulevard and 166th Street on the corner. This chicken takes all over the other chicken 🐤 competitors nothing compares to the skin on it it comes fried or grilled the price may be a little high but I think it's well worth it but that's just my opinion. The chicken is very moist and not dry like some of the others there's limited handicap parking ♿. So if you're good and hungry and your anchoring for some good chicken then I suggest you go to Pollo Campero and get your Breast leg and thigh on LOL. Take it from me I love this place.... Take the whole family out to dinner their side orders beans rice coleslaw and those fried bananas Check out their menu online and scan the barcode on the picture for flyer picture don't forget to download the app....

This was my first time trying the food and it was delicious. The chicken is crispy, juicy and has a really nice flavor. My two sides( Cole slaw, French fries)were good as well. I ordered an extra side of the sweet plantains but unfortunately I didn't get to try them because there was hair in them. It's the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars.

This is a new restaurant in Lawndale. It is new and clean. The parking lot is a little small, so you may need to park along the street. The fried chicken arrived hot. It was juicy and crispy. The Campero beans were tasty. The drink selection was good. Overall, the food was tasty.

Pros: they provide reusable bowls/plates and utensils, not disposable. The greens in my salad were very fresh. Workers personable and asked if we wanted to hold any ingredients, which we did. Cons: Somewhat limited menu. While they say they have grilled chicken, the only way it is available is the pieces plates. You cannot get grilled chicken in the salads or sandwiches. If you want grilled chicken in your salad or sandwich you'll have to go to the other pollo place.

I've tried several dishes here and so far have not felt satisfied with it. The chicken is dry and the yucca fries are not as tasty as authentic home made yucca fries. The sauce tastes mustardy. The Cole slaw.. I don't like it very much.

Ok so here's my take on the chicken...so our total a little over 70 dollars was it worth it? I'm still on the fence about it, cuz it comes out to 17 dlrs a person, but anyways their fried chicken was really good, there cold slaw 👍, beans👍, empanadas 👍, my son like his spicy chicken sandwich, plantains 👍... so here's the bad of it...under staffed girls inside were non-stop busy took a while to get my phone order... The sides too small to be in a family meal they l BARELY is enough for 4 people, the grilled chicken was black & extremely dry if i could i would of returned it but my bag was sealed so i didn't see it until i was home..(not to happy about🤬) so if it wasn't for the dry chicken and way too small sides....this place would have been worth it & gotten 5 stars, i hope they can rectify my situation cuz i do like the place but if not it's ok too.. but as of now i feel like I spent too much money at this place

Chicken is not the same as the Guatemala. I have only one napking My corn tortillas very cold. For me I don't comeback seriously. Good luck.
