Bella Sera Leander Reviews
“Excellent food made from fresh ingredients with well-balanced flavors. The service is fast, friendly, and to the point. The quality-to-price ratio is very good. They offer outstanding wines and a genuinely family-like atmosphere. The visit changed my perspective on the entire region.”
So far one of my favorite Italian restaurants, the food was really tasty, authentic Italian flavor, I ordered the Marsala Chicken and didn't disappoint. The fresh garlic & cheese bread was delicious as well, and the Pavarotti music in the background 🫶🏽 definitely we will back soon!
The hostess who work on Valentine’s Day was an absolute doll, I had called to see the wait time and she offered to save a table for us! The servers were quick with bring things out and super sweet! Especially for my first time here I can see why it’s so popular!!💕💕
Finally made it to this gem of a restaurant in my area. Very friendly and welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere, fast service, delicious food (fettuccini Alfredo and eggplant parmigiana, ceasar salads, delicious wine) , and very reasonably priced. We’ll be back! Loved it!
I love this little spot! Cute little family, Italian restaurant, the garlic knots are amazing hard to stop eating them! I’ve liked everything I’ve tried on the menu and being from the northeast. I will tell you it’s hard to find really good Italian around here!
First time trying this restaurant and it does not disappoint! Very authentic Italian, the service and food were both great. We ordered the Bruschetta Alla Feta, Veal Masala (brown sauce pictured), and Spaghetti with Italian Sausage, all which were delicious. We entered hungry, and left full. Really recommend this restaurant!
This is our go to Italian restaurant. We visited yesterday with our friends from out of town with a party of almost 20 of us. As always, Fabian was excellent, very patient with taking all of our orders, & a great memory with knowing our kids preferences. The food was delicious. Very inviting atmosphere like eating at home ! We will continue to come dine here !
I never leave reviews, but this place is absolutely delicious. I had the carbonara, and it was the best I've had ever. The noodles tasted homemade, perfect texture. The sauce was smooth and creamy, perfectly spiced. All the flavors were amazing, and the garlic knots were fluffy and delicious. This place is absolutely a gem serving Michelin quality. Authentic and exquisite Italian cuisine!
I went there this past weekend and it was a great experience. We were originally going to go to a different restaurant but I am so glad we tried out this one because the food was amazing! Our waitress was beyond accommodating and sweet, and she gave us recommendations. She said that their fettuccine alfredo is the best in the city…and she’s not lying. I got the chicken marsala and it was also amazing. The atmosphere feels authentic and warm, and it truly feels like a great place for a nice quality dinner with your partner. Definitely going to visit again.
Had dinner at Bella Sera of Leander and loved it — the Pasta Sampler (lasagna, cannelloni, manicotti) gave a great taste of their classics, and the Chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti was comforting and well-executed. The Mozzarella Caprese appetizer was fresh and bright, and the Black Forest Cheesecake was a sweet finish. What stood out was the warm, family-friendly atmosphere and the staff’s genuine kindness — they made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Plus, the portions were generous (with a side of bread included!) — a solid spot for Italian in Leander.
I don’t leave reviews often, but I must say this was excellent. My husband and I had plans to go the Alamo Draft House, but we’re getting hungry while waiting, and made a decision to stop here and share a plate for our date night. The service was prompt and respectful. The bread knots were phenomenal (so phenomenal that I had to ask for one extra). The spaghetti held the sauce well and the flavor of the dish was outstanding. Highly recommend going here for a date night. I even felt so bad wearing my sweats inside because how lovely the dining experience was. Will be back! (In proper attire).
It was my first trip to this fine establishment. I was there for a business meeting and had heard the food was good. Well, it ends up this Italian food was some of the best I've tasted in a long time... and not crazy expensive. I have a very discerning pallet and prefer to write honest reviews about food quality (not a fast food person at all). Even the bread was unique, but better than other Italian restaurants I've visited. The wait staff was pleasant and very consciences and courteous. It was a clean and friendly atmosphere! I'll be back to eat here again.
This place is a gem in Leander. The location is perfect. The warm staff greets you with a smile, and once you're inside, you forget about all the fast-food places you see every day. It's like a trip to a small restaurant in Italy. And not to mention the delicious food! We'll definitely be back soon. Thank you 🙏
Came to Bella Sera Leander for the first time and it was amazing! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cute, and the server was great. The fettuccini Alfredo is some of the best we have had, outside of Italy. Didn’t get a photo of it because we dug in too quickly lol. Great wine selection as well. We will definitely be back!
This restaurant by far has been one of if not the best Italian restaurant's to truly experience Authentic Italian Cuisine. The owners and workers are so very friendly and accommodating they treat and great you with a smile EVERY time. They not only care about the food there serving but they honestly care about every single customer that walks thru there door. We have been twice and is now one of our go to places for GREAT food, service and Atmosphere. Please go and see for your selves and you won't be disappointed!
Had a craving for some Italian and decided to try this place out. I am so glad I did! The customer service was awesome and the food tasted great! The environment was very welcoming and relaxing. The restrooms are very clean and service was quick. The food prices are a little above average however you receive a lot of food for the price. The bread tastes great with the oil dipping so be sure to ask for the oil sauce. Overall this was a great place to visit to have some Italian and recommend this place.
in town for the weekend to attend tournaments. I had high expectations on quality of the food, unfortunately my Frutti De Mares seafood was soupy, my daughter barely touched her Fettucini Carbonara and wife did not touch her shrimp scampi. The appetizer (fried calamari) was very good . Our server was more focused on socializing in the front counter than attending to us.
We visited for Lunch and ordered lunch special. The food was fresh and good. Tried Baked Tortellini and Chicken Alfredo Pasta. I prefer Cheese Ravioli(not that heavy when we tried at liberty hill branch) rather than Baked Tortellini(Bit heavy). Pasta taste was good. They only served salad in this Leander location but I got option to choose between soup and salad at liberty hill location which was surprising for me. Lunch special menu is also bit different in other locations.
The in-restaurant experience is pleasant. Food is decent, not outstanding - for the price, anyway. Don't order delivery, it's pretty awful (everything turns to a "soup" of noodles). It's the only place my kids won't eat the spaghetti, if that says anything. The meat is... Microwaved...? I guess is the best way I can describe it. The veal and chicken are both overcooked, dry, and the watery sauces offer nothing for flavor. If you're a hyper-taster, this place is probably amazing. The desserts are pretty good. If I returned, which I likely won't, I'd opt against the raspberry sauce they add to all the desserts. The bread is great, and the salads are solid. Service is good, albeit awkward. I really want to like this place, but after multiple experiences I can't really recommend it. Not for the price. Or flavor.
Stopped in for lunch with a small group on Friday. Parking is out front and we were seated right away. They offer a wide menu of Italian favorites, as well as wine and beer. Complimentary bread was brought to the table, delicious! We had the shrimp scampi, the pasta sampler, salads and soup. All were very tasty and generous portions. Also, we had the calamari appetizer which was tasty. Service was good and prompt, and the food was served hot. Overall, a good dining experience.
Went on Father's Day. The food was good and served simply. Not great food, but good. The complimentary garlic knots were a nice touch. Since the recipes are probably company-wide, there are other things that can be done to improve the dining experience. Servers were friendly and looked very professional and knowledgeable in their long white aprons. Our young server couldn't describe dishes and a more experienced server came over and gave descriptions and recommendations. If new servers are given a menu tasting and explanation of ingredients, they would be better prepared to service their tables. It would also give them a better feeling of teamwork and they'll possibly take more pride in their work. The decor is upscale for the area. Still, maybe get rid of the fake flowers and put just one stem of a real flower in the vases on the tables for a more elegant look. Yes, it would cost a little more, but it also speaks more of quality and going the extra mile. Just some thoughts so that this lovely little restaurant thrives in Leander.
Good garlic knots and salad, meat was a bit tough in the chicken Parmesan. I was not a fan of the sauce on the 🍝. It tasted sweet to me. That said, I would go back and try something else because the service was very good and the atmosphere was friendly.
This was a Doordash order. I ordered lasagna. This is an Italian restaurant. The very definition of lasagna is wide pasta noodles "layered" with meat sauce and cheese(s). What did they send me? One darned wide noodle with ricotta spread on it, some meat sauce dumped on top, then topped with a sparse cheese coating. I would be SO EMBARRASSED to send out something that looked like that and call it a lasagna plate. Clearly, they had NONE and threw a single noodle on to boil, then slopped on the single layers of meat sauce and cheese. What a pathetic attempt. They should have called and told me they had none, would I like to substitute another meal. This place was always great in the past. What happened?
