Wendy's Leander Reviews
Listen, I've become a regular here and I want to say the staff are amazing. They always give me the right amount of sauces and are SO SWEET! The food is always fresh when I come in and it's awesome. Thanks!
I stopped by for a quick bite while in the area. The food is hot and fresh, and the service was very impressive. Arturo made sure my meal was prepped properly and went out of his way to get everything completed. I also saw him give the same great service to other customers in the restaurant, making sure everyone was happy. Customer Service is a tough job, but Arturo does it with a smile because I can tell he really enjoys helping others. Thanks!
Thank you to the Wendy’s workers who helped really creepy man chase me at night???!! Some big black truck cut me in the drive-through and the Wendy’s workers saved his food for him so he could then proceed to chase me through the Home Depot parking lot and also the Whataburger drive-through.
I had to leave a review after my trip to Wendy’s today. Absolute 5 star experience. Friendly cashier. Order was perfect. Fresh fries, fresh nuggets, big bacon classic was well put together, fresh, and delicious. Customer service was outstanding. The worker didn’t even give a weird look or anything when I asked for ketchup. It was almost as good as the yellow Wendy’s days. Shows you how old I am haha 😂

Stopped by for lunch today. I usually get their salads, because they are delicious and reasonably priced. The apple/ pecan salad is a favorite of mine, but today I tried the strawberry salad (limited time availability). It was delicious with plenty of strawberries and chicken as well as other toppings. I liked the 'champagne ' dressing it came with, too. My rating is not 5 star because there was a 10 minute wait to order, which is pushing the "fast food " idea ....also there were numerous flies in the restaurant, making the dining experience less enjoyable. I mentioned the flies to management who were very apologetic. The restaurant was clean, so that was not the issue. Delivery is available as well as WI-FI.
50 cents for sarrcacha,What a load of crap,I was a loyal customer but not anymore I am so tried of being nickeled and dimed by huge corporations it's B.S.
Above average for Wendy's food. Only complaint is adding jalapenos to a sandwich resulted in only three sliced jalapenos, one of which was tiny. There's currently no self-order kiosk, which I generally like, but it did take a minute for someone to be ready to take our order.
It's not a terrible location, the main issue is the length of time it takes from ordering at the speaker to receiving your order. Even with no line there is the potential to wait 5 minutes or more. Food is always hot and fresh though!
Generally the service is great and what makes this location nice. The menu items are a bit overpriced for the quality, but that can be said about nearly everything now. Love how Wendy's has at least been expanding their frosty varieties.

Drive thru was packed, so we went inside. No one was inside, but it took 10 minutes to ha e someone come to the front and another 20 minutes for our food. Under-staffed? Customer service was non-existent. Probably will not stop by this location again. Tables were also dirty, and the ketchup pump was empty. This was at 3:45 pm so way before a dinner rush.
Ordered food fish was a piece of card board . My baconator , bacon com find me with 3 mini bacons on it. The cold Fry's didn't help. Tried to call to see if we could get a do over. To find out that the wireless cell for a business was on a repeat message. The Leander store on Crystal falls. Now this want be my last time I guess because I have had some good food there.
You know, I end up going here a lot because the biggy bag deal is great and it's on my way to work but MAN do they mess the orders often. Even if it's done through the app, half the time Ill end up with a random burger and be missing half my meal. Also they almost never cook the fries all the way, they are always so undercooked.
$50 for thrown together food. They didn’t tell us they were out of sliced cheese. Of course we ordered burgers with ketchup only, the receipt showed it, but you can see the mustard that was scraped off. Our last experience here wasn’t any better - we were shorted items. I am usually a “three times I’m out” customer but I think I’m just out with two visits. Stinks because they are so close to where we volunteer, but thankful Popeyes is next door.

Spicy chicken is made wrong it was horrible and frosty swirl was not fully frozen.they didn't give any sause and before I ask the staff close the window and disappeared...first time experienced this worst Wendy's franchise
Horrible service and Horrible food. Sign on door says masks required, ok , no problem. Walk up yo counter and was told dining room was close , no problem we were taking to go . Than we was told you can't order inside??? Why wasn't there a sign on door saying dining room close, why didn't they just lock the door? Lady at counter very rude, need customer service training. Got our food, Horrible, hamburger so greasy couldn't eat it.
I was excited to have a new fast food place close to home, but this place is a consistent disappointment. I tried one last time today and once again fries are freezing cold, as were the burgers. Although we waited in line for a good 8-10 minutes. My chicken nuggets were hard and about the size of a quarter.
Ordered here tonight and they forgot the dressing to my salad, forgot my fries and added condiments to my kids plain burger. I called and asked for credit since I was already home and was told I had to return. Will not be returning here.
I didn't have a very good experience the hamburgers were old and dried and it seems that this particular Wendy's is cutting Corners maybe corporate should take a look at it overall my experience with Wendy's has been good but there are some like this one in particular that needs much improvement
Stopped by at 9 PM to get some food. Posted lobby hours are 8 AM - 10 PM. Found out ~9:40 PM the lobby was closed. Went through the drive through on arrival and got handed an order around 9:10 PM. Found out they missed a 10 piece nugget so we circled back around and the guy at the window told us he would get it to us in a moment and asked us to pull forward. We sat there until 9:40 PM when I tried to go in the lobby and figure out what was going on. Door was locked. Went back through the drive thru and the guy said he had to take care of everyone else that was going through first because they were on the timer. I asked to talk to a manager because that is NOT how it is supposed to operate. Manager was less than helpful and just asked if i wanted the nuggets or something else. This is an exactly how business should not be ran. Also saw the guy try to hand out 2 different orders to someone and they handed them back after they saw it was the wrong order.
I pulled up the drive through and ordered 3 $5 biggie bags and was asked with an attitude which biggie bag I wanted. I asked what they meant and with more attitude was asked which version I wanted so I responded with 1 chicken sandwich meal and 2 burger meals. Then when asked about the drinks I was asked medium or large and I told them whatever size comes with the $5 bag. I get to the window and the 3 $5 biggie bags came out to $23. When I asked the person working the window how $15 with of food came out to $23 I was told I ordered the more expensive meals with upsized drinks. I responded that I wanted the $5 meals however they came at that price point. I could hear the staff in the back being disrespectful and saying the guy at the window didn’t know what he wanted. After this interaction my order was modified to the $5 meals and my new total was $19.50. Still not sure how $15 worth of food is $19.50. If you’re going to advertise a meal deal then honor the price.
I order a triple Dave burger on DoorDash and some other meals on arrival they forgot, Triple Dave, on Arriving the second time, they gave me my triple burger with no veggies, even though I ordered everything on it
I left my card at this Wendy’s two days ago after ordering through the drive-thru. I’d been searching for it since, and finally realized I never got it back at the window. I called the store and asked if a card had been left behind. I described the card and gave the man on the phone my name. The man on the phone said someone had found a card, but needed to check. When he came back, he asked me for my name again and the he confirmed they did have a blue Capital One card but then hesitated and claimed that the only card they had was under the name “Dominic.” The way he responded raised red flags, so I decided to go in person. When I arrived, they were reluctant to show me the card and asked for ID. I explained I could recognize it without touching it, based on the wear and tear on it. The lady I was talking to then went to speak with another employee and asked about the card, and he looked shocked. Eventually after whispering amongst each other, she brought it out and asked for my ID. Once I showed it, I confirmed it was definitely mine and took it. I was so frustrated that all I could say was, “Wow. Really, lady? This IS my card! Thanks!” and walked out before I lost my cool and to avoid a scene. After leaving, I asked a police officer what I could do and he said nothing could be done since the card hadn’t been used. So while I can't take legal action, I wanted to warn others about this location. To the guy who wouldn’t even look me in the eye—shame on you. The way this situation was handled felt dishonest and unprofessional. If anything does happen on my account, I’ll be following up with authorities.
Ordered two sandwiches and two orders of baconator fries, and two drinks, didn't get straws or forks , had to wait for the second order of fries, bacon wasn't chopped up, just strips set on top, and no receipt, wouldn't recommend going there
Staff is lazy and inattentive been waiting 10+ mins for and order I placed 15 ago
It’s always a coincidence that the frosty machine is always broken late at night almost like they just don’t want to serve you. Also apparently no one has any manners silently takes order and then just stares at me for payment not a single word.
Burger buns dried out and old. Tried calling no answer. Don’t eat here seems to be ran by Some real Foot to mouth people. Ryan do not eat here!
Menu does not reflect prices charged. Ordered a $7.79 combo, and was charged $10.46. I was very hungry, the kind of hunger that makes everything taste better. However, the food had little flavor. It was breakfast and I am sure the burgers are better, but you can get a tastier better priced meal next door at Circle K.
Not a great restaurant to order from if English is your only language. Staff doesn't understand concept of "extra onions". Staff pays almost no attention at all to counter orders. Tables are almost always sticky. Flies EVERYWHERE. Food quality/prep has gone down in past few years.
Especially the afternoon staff here doesn’t care about customers!! They just do orders very lazy n leisurely!!!
This place made me hate Wendy’s 1. On more than one occasion I order Baconator fries and get no bacon with it or the bacon is just two strips and not actually diced. 2. Or I go there before closing hours at the drive through and I hear “thank you for choosing wendys how may I help u” then as I begin my order “sorry wendys is closed”
If I could give this store 0 stars I would. It's unbelievable how the management over this store is completely oblivious or just doesn't care how bad this store is.
I have eaten here many times but this last time, tonight on 8/2/2025, they gave me food poisoning. I don't think I have ever puked that much before. Chicken Asiago. Stay away.
Hard bun. Rotten lettuce. Rotten pickles that weren't even green. The fries were not edible. Gave them to my dogs. Luckily I had hamburger buns at home. My first time eating at a Wendy's in 8 years and yuk.
If zero stars were an option that’s the rating they would get. Waited 40 minutes for an order when no other customers were there. 4 employees arguing about the food, the order, and who was doing what then. While I was waiting the manager received multiple calls with customer complaints about incorrect orders. Then I finally get the food only to find the chicken in my salad cold and hard… all the nuggets cold …. Then had to wait another 15 minutes for them to try giving me a refund.
If i could give 0 stars i would, do yourself a favor do not order here their quality sucks and so do their employees worst place I've ever eaten at. -1 stars
Drived thru Ordered, paid but prep employees forgot fries , went in and got the missing fries , wasn't till I got home and realized they also messed up the order by giving me a single Patty Dave's burger when I had ordered double Dave's combo we paid full price I want a refund also they didn't give a receipt but I paid with card I want a refund
I’m very disappointed in this location, they have a bunch of teens working, probably highschoolers no work ethic or motivation which you can tell by the service you get. I’ve been going to this location for over a year now and every single time I’ve either had items missing or items wrong. I’ve had to go inside the store and have them remake bur multiple times because they can’t get it right. Even after they freshly make a new one I still check it and every once all it’ll still be wrong, I got cheese baked potato because I worked a 12 hour day. I didn’t check the bag. I just wanted to get home and didn’t see it until I got home. Continuously disappointing me continuously giving me cold food continuously giving me incorrect food. I simply will not eat at this location anymore.
Ordered spicy nuggets, fries and cheese fries. I specifically asked for no salt on both fries and cheese fries. The staff took the time to make a new batch, which was nice, but there was still salt added. The cheese fries looked gross since the cheese was not melted. The spicy nuggets tasted like fish which I do not like. The staff was nice, but overall I couldn’t eat my food. :(

If i could give less than one star i would. Hours say they close at 2 am, but when we went in at 12 they didn’t answer the drive thru box for 10 minutes after driving around twice and when we just eventually pulled up to the window the lady rolled her eyes unlocked the window and sighed. We had asked if they were still open and she flat out said no closed the windows and locked them back up. Rude, inconsiderate, and liars. If you guys close earlier change your hours or talk to your employees but actually following the rules of the store hours.
EDIT: tried giving them another chance but i guess the entire crew decided to take a 30 minute break at 11? No one at the intercom and had to drive to the window to get their attention. After all that they forgot the whole burger in my combo??? Yeah im done with this location. No wonder everyone was at the Popeyes nextdoor. Ordered a shake tonight and a Cinnabon. Did not get it. When I tried to call they refuse to answer phone. When I show up they refuse to give me a refund. So I wasted money on items I did not get. Terrible experience and location. I
Don't come to this Wendy's late at night. I was at the drivethru window at 1 am and it says they close at 2am. The lady said they were closed and ignored me. Absolutely bad service.
Was the only person in the restaurant and only one car in the driver through. Walked in and was told they would be with me in a min, I proceeded to stand at the counter for 10 min and no one ever came and took my order. I went nextdoor to popeyes
Bottom line they’ve screwed up too many orders. Food is usually fine. Been visiting a couple times a month for years - way too many missing items or wrong toppings on burgers etc. With the wages workers are being paid, you can hardly blame them. Will not be returning to this location.
Super rude Mexican lady, I think she was the manager because she was in a different color shirt, Had no customer service whatsoever. Up until we pulled up to the window and I guess realized we were also Mexican and she was a little bit nicer, but still was very snippy and slammed the window on us. Food was old. Super rude lady Im shocked she works there…
This place had irritated me sooo bad. I came at 12:50 they don't close until 2. The doors were locked, so I went through the drive-thru to be told they were not serving food anymore. Mind you, I'm 8 months pregnant and had been craving them all day, so I asked the woman why she didn't answer, just left from the mic. Then about 3 minutes later, a man came on. I asked him why they'd closed. He said he's not sure the manager just had them close early. I asked for the manager's name. He said he didn't know it and that nobody in the back knew the manager's name. Terrible customer service. The first woman was very rude and if they were going to close early, they need to change their closing time. I wasted $30 on an Uber for no reason.
My partner and I usually go to this Wendy’s and have never had any issues prior to last night, 11/25/25. We went in around 7/8pm to grab a bite. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the staff standing around talking; which, no problem, due to the fact that there was no one in the lobby and we all have down time! I am simply mentioning this detail because it later affected us. Someone who stood out the most, was a Mexican lady in a red shirt, who appeared to be the manager because she was the only one with a different colored shirt, just standing around with her arms folded and talking. Although not immediately greeted nor attempted to be helped by anyone, (luckily we weren’t ready to order any how) we were eventually helped by a young man who kindly took our order, once we were ready. We waited about 5 minutes and received our food. When we approached the counter to retrieve our food, they were ALL just standing there, staring, as if they were waiting for us to say something about the food (manager still front and center, arms folded, but silent.) I immediately noticed that the fries were burnt and could tell that they’d been sitting out a while, due to the texture. However, after a long day at work, I wasn’t going to make it a big deal. I simply asked for bbq sauce, and we were going to go on about our night. The young man that helped us, and another young lady immediately went to try to grab us some bbq sauce. However, this same “manager” who’d been standing there with her arms folded the entire time, immediately went over and blocked the bbq sauce holder with her hands so that no one could grab us any, and began to speak to the young man mentioned above in Spanish. We then noticed that the young lady reached above, where the manager wasn’t able to block, and grabbed us a bbq sauce. The manager then TOOK the bbq sauce out of the young lady’s hand and placed it back into the holder. We were IMMEDIATELY uncomfortable, confused, and honestly infuriated! He eventually told us that she said “they are .50.” So I responded, letting him know that I wasn’t going to make this an issue for them, but since she’s trying to charge for the sauce (NEVER had this issue before,) could we go ahead and get our fries replaced because I could tell they were old. The staff looked at each other and shook their heads, as if they knew the fries were old. The young lady who previously tried to help, again took action immediately and replaced our fries. The fries were the same color, and texture was not fresh, so we immediately knew they were simply re-dipped. But, we overall appreciated her because she TRIED to help and was never rude! I find it absolutely insane that this “manager” never once made it clear to us who she was, but was quick to step in to literally physically block them from just giving us bbq sauce. How are you prioritizing charging for bbq sauce, but not the quality of the food you serve and overall customer service? Had the fries at least been fresh, charging for the sauce honestly would not have bothered me as much because clearly, you all are running things a certain way around here. But that was not the case. You’d think the way she was standing around, talking, with her arms folded, that all of her ducks were in a row. I am guessing she’s new management. For her sake, I am hoping she puts the same enthusiasm into FRESH/EDIBLE food, and ELITE CUSTOMER SERVICE, as she does into making sure they are charging for the sauces!

No one there know what it means to have customer service. Joked around on the speaker, so it took forever to order. When I finally made it to the window, I had to wait 20 minutes just to get my baked potato. I could have just done that at home if they were going to toy around with my time. I HATE wasting my time and that’s exactly what they did. One guy tried to help fix it but I’m just not coming back. Not worth it.
