A very nice surprise- a local restaurant in the garden of a house. The place is enormous and has nice lake view. The staff are very friendly and kind. The menu is big and they even tell you they can cook you a lot of things outside the menu. The atmosphere is charming in a non pretentious way.

We were just in the middle on knowwhere - and found this great restaurant- it’s mostly for locals, the pastas were very delicious- and the service very friendly - it was a pleasure to stay and wanted to share that taste longer . Pasta with gambas and shafran is great. I also likes the tiramisu- I’d prefer more coffee taste but it’s just preference

I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars. Everything from the staff to the food and ambience is amazing, impeccable and perfect. I felt like I just met my long lost Italian cousins. The complimentary prosecco and tomato focaccia makes this place stand out and that’s before they even bring any of the food out. If you are in Lake Como Italy and your don’t eat here you’ve missed out on the most amazing experience ever. I love this place so much I ate here twice during my trip. AMAZING!!!!

WOW! So amazing! Will not stop thinking about this for a while! We arrived upon opening time at lunch with no reservation on a busy day and the staff were so lovely to fit us in and am I glad about that. The food was unbelievable and definitely my favourite pizza and pasta I have had in a long time! We ordered the 3 salami pizza and cacio e pepe and I just wish I ordered more to take with me for dinner! So so good!!

Super nice services, black risotto calamari prawn is tasty. The pork loin is a bit dry, the spaghetti prawn is creamy. The restaurant is located near a parking lot closes to the Villa del Balbianello

WOW! From the delicious food to the incredible hospitality, we were blown away by our visit to Il Cris. We had the caprese salad and prosciutto and melon, then we each had a different pasta - both incredibly flavourful. They were extra attentive to my gluten free needs and I am so grateful! Make of the other reviews as you will, but know that Il Cris is worth the visit!!

Wonderful restaurant run by the friendliest, warmest people. Made to feel so welcome, went there three times in the end. Fab food and the owner gifted us this amazing bottle of red wine on our last night there. 100% recommend ♥️ 🇮🇹 (make sure you book in advance as it’s always busy)

Top experience in Como Lake. Must-eat-there place. The owner, Ivan, was super-welcoming and attentive. He gave us personalized attention. The food was outstanding: there was huge variety on and off-menu, and everything had a special gourmet, yet home-made touch. It was so delicious, that we came back to eat a second time there during a long weekend holiday. For the second dinner, he gave us the best table in the terrace with lake view. Thank you Ivan!!!

We were lucky enough to come by for lunch without a reservation. This restaurant has HUGE servings so it would be the perfect place to dine in with friends or family. This restaurant is a little walk away from the busy strip but it’s worth the walk if you want to a big and delicious meal ! We ordered the rockmelon and prosciutto starter, it was light and refreshing. For mains we had a classic margarita pizza, and the seafood pasta. Luckily the waitress told us that was enough food.. because the seafood pasta was HUGE ! They are generous with the amount of seafood they give you !
