We booked a lunch for four people, recommended by several acquaintances about the quality/price of the place. The waiter's service was unparalleled from the first minute. The quantity and quality of the food were very, very good. We will definitely return because we're left wanting more dishes. 100% recommended. We didn't try the fish or meat dishes. We ordered croquettes (very homemade), grilled mushrooms, mixed salad, baby squid, and minced meat. And for dessert, rice pudding and chocolate mousse. We will definitely return.

Excellent place, unbeatable service, very good food (typical Leonese cuisine), and the croquette tapas were incredible. The staff were very friendly and attentive at all times, and the atmosphere was excellent. Without a doubt, it's THE place you have to visit if you come to León. The owner is a friendly and welcoming person who treated us very well during our time in León. When we return, it's a must-visit for us. We Canarians were absolutely delighted!

We went for lunch for two people. They have a fairly extensive daily menu for €13.50, a tasting menu for €22, and an à la carte menu. The waiter was kind and recommended a tasting menu to share, offering us another dish afterward if we were still hungry. The menu for two was more than enough, including four starters, a choice of main course, dessert, and coffee. The food was generally very tasty, with the sweetbreads and pepper stuffed with blood sausage being particularly noteworthy; the leek and garlic dish was a bit bland. We were very grateful for the waiter's kindness and friendliness, and the service was very pleasant. Recommended.

Hacia algunos años que no entraba en este sitio. La caña a 2,10€, estaba bastante bien y la tapa de morcilla estaba muy buena. Sitio clásico, para comidas y un mesón con mucha gente.

A timeless classic with a long-standing crowd. The atmosphere is undoubtedly one of those who usually go there regularly, and the bar is one of those that has remained frozen in time, which gives it its charm. Nostalgic people will enjoy it the most. The prices are reasonable, and there's a short menu option, which isn't as common in the city center. The stew tapas are undoubtedly the best, and the weekend rice dish could be improved. Payment by card is not possible.

I'm somewhere between 4 and 5 stars... We ate WELL, it's been hard for us in these parts... Good food and at a good price. 13.90 for the menu (around 19, 20... Carrillos). The service was very good, as if we were long-time customers!! Today there was an option to get suckling lamb for that price (13.90), and that's what I got... A good leg of suckling lamb with salad. The lamb was very good, very juicy and tender... I enjoyed it like a baby!! My wife had lasagna for starters, which was delicious, and the calamari (a bit weak here). My oldest daughter also had lasagna and then a beef stew. The stew was delicious, although strong in flavor. I'm saying this in case you like less intense stewed meat. The little one ordered steaks for €7... They brought her two good pieces, each with a great flavor. For dessert, we had egg flan (delicious), cheesecake (delicious), and lemon curd (very delicious). They also served us quickly. So, homemade food, with good flavor, good prices, and friendly service... Highly recommended if you're in León. The bread is another plus.

El Justiciero de Google

A unique spot for a drink in León's Barrio Húmedo (Old Town). It's like stepping back in time. The prices are reasonable, the service is good, and the complimentary tapas were delicious. Croquettes are always a good choice, but here they were exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised that pets are welcome inside, which is a great option for dog owners.

Barato y auténticamente tradicional. Pero... Necesita más higiene: podíamos oler el baño desde lejos en el área del comedor; los platos parecían mal lavados. el servicio y la atención fueron poco destacables. la comida estaba demasiado aceitosa y dejó un ligero regusto rancio. en general, la peor experiencia que hemos tenido en León hasta ahora, un nivel por debajo de todos los demás

It's not what it used to be. The restaurant has gone downhill; the dining room was soulless and smelled like a mixture of dampness and food. The service is acceptable, but the food leaves much to be desired. The croquettes are the only thing worth mentioning; I wouldn't order anything else again. The sirloin with foie gras was completely burnt... you can't serve food in that condition. The ribeye steak was raw inside and burnt outside... in short, we didn't like it.

Fuimos a tomar algo con una tapa, y el camarero era bastante maleducado y con muy pocas ganas de trabajar. Estuvimos 4 días y por supuesto no volvimos. La calle tiene sitios mucho mejores y con empleados agradables.
