Sin dudarlo y sin titubear el mejor restaurante con mucha diferencia de la escala. Cocina fresca, con producto de km0, atrevida, moderna, creativa es algo que no se puede resistir. Su menú gastronómico es sin duda su buque insignia, por unos 50 euros saldrás más que satisfecho. Eso si entre semana hay un menú al Medio día por 25 euros que no te dejará indiferente. Este lugar es visita imprescindible si pasas unas vacaciones en L’Escala, vas de finde, o simplemente de paso no lo dudes y entra

Muy rico todo , en espacio encantador. La carta de vinos es muy interesante y precios que valen la pena. La comida como el local bonita, buena y con ganas de probar mas platos. Muy recomendable. Aconsejo venir antes pasear y tomar algo por la zona para acabar cenando en La Gruta. Dentro incluso me gusta mas que la terraza. El venir antes es por la problemática de aparcar .

Aun no hemos salido del restaurante pero simplemente imprescindible si estás en la zona. Todo buenísimo. Tanto los platos como la atención. Sabores muy conseguidos y diferentes a lo habitual en platos tradicionales . Postres increíbles Gracias por la experiencia

Si pasas por la Escala tienes que venir a este restaurante. Es sencillamente fantástico. Platos sabrosos y llenos de sabor con una presentación exquisita. El precio se queda corto comparado con la calidad del menú. Muy recomendable.

Amazing meal at La Gruta. We came here to celebrate our 20th anniversary and we loved every bite. We got the 6 course tasting menu and it didn’t disappoint. They had a fantastic selection of wine as well. Service was fantastic and we left with smiles on our faces and full bellies. We highly recommend going here if you want to experience a truly divine culinarily experience and great atmosphere. I do recommend sitting in the stone room (planta 0) or outside. Planta 1 was a little quiet and lacked any excitement. Request the table by the kitchen if you want to see the chef in action!

Went for the lunch menu; absolutely fantastic experience and incredible value. The portions are very generous which we were not expecting; we left incredibly full. The dishes were very impressive and delicious, but still satisfying like a home cooked meal. The wine pairing was also delicious. The location and restaurant is also spectacular and beautiful. Well deserving of the Bib Gourmand award.

We had dinner here last week and cannot recommend it highly enough! Our most treasured meal in four weeks in Spain. We chose the six course degustation which changes daily. For us it included sashimi, beef carpaccio, cantaloupe soup with basil mousse, fish of the day, truffle filet mignon, and the most amazing dessert I’ve ever had, a twin eclair with chocolate ice cream. I do not know how they made the gelato so delicious, it was so reasonably priced for a Michelin star restaurant, not pretentious, and the wine list was brilliant. Beautiful atmosphere sitting in the courtyard, we were the last to leave! The kitchen team were amazing and it has created lasting memories for us. Definitely recommend.

Great restaurant. The food was simply amazing, they are very thoughtful in every detail and very creative dishes. Me and my partner were extremely impressed with all dishes. The cacao nibs dessert was remarkable. The ambient is lovely and cozy, and the price was also very coherent. The receptionist was the kindest, she took us 20 minutes before the restaurant closed, and the waiters were very sympathetic. I would without doubt go there again.

Restaurante con mención en la Guía Michelin, de estilo más clásico. El local está bien, aunque nos tocó una mesa muy cerca de la cocina y fue bastante molesto escuchar continuamente a los camareros cantando los pedidos: “los segundos de la 10”, “los postres de la 9”… durante toda la comida. Se hizo pesado. Hicimos el menú entre semana de 30 €. En cuanto a calidad-precio, correcto. Los huevos no nos convencieron, no nos parecieron a la altura del tipo de restaurante. En cambio, el tataki de salmón fue una delicia, aunque la ración fue algo escasa. Los segundos sí fueron más consistentes y estaban bien elaborados. De postre, la única opción sin gluten era la pavlova, y sinceramente, no me gustó nada. Eso sí, tenían pan y cerveza sin gluten, lo cual siempre se agradece. En general, no creemos que volvamos.

Relacion calidad precio brutal. Hicimos en menu grastronomico con cebiche de gambas y tagliatele de marisco con una paulova de coco. Increiblemente bueno.

Hicimos el menú por unos 60 y pico euros por persona das una vuelta rápida por toda la cocina de este fabuloso restaurante que es para tener en agenda en l’Escala. No es un restaurante de diario, es un restaurante premio. Únicamente no nos gustó la refrigeración del local un poco justa. Del menú los dos platos principales bueníssimos, los tres primeros y el postre bien.

Bonito restaurante, trato excelente, comida en general bien, el solomillo y el tataki de salmón muy bueno, el ceviche de gambas, las bravas y el bacalao normal, y de los postres destacar el milhojas de pera confitada.

Es un sitio con una estrella Michelín, bastante caro pero proponen un menú económico para que sea accesible a todos los bolsillos(40 euros por persona con un entrante, un principal, un postre y agua) , para nosotros la comida no estuvo mal pero pensamos que nos iba a encantar. El entrante era un canelon de bonito que tenía mayonesa por debajo, por dentro y por encima y al no gustarle la mayonesa a mi marido me tuve que comer los 2 y casi muero. El principal de mi marido era una pierna de cordero que se asentaba en mayonesa y mi principal era un wok de chpirones encima de una tortita y con una especie de alioli como salsa,la base de las verduras era muy amarga. De todas formas estaban ricos. Los Postres fueron sin dudarlo lo mejor de la noche, exquisitos.

El producto muy bueno, las elaboraciones buenas (alguna muy buena, la mayoría más sencillas), la relación calidad precio (en el menú por pases 65€ sin vino) desajustada. Un menú de éste tipo requiere de un poquito más de dedicación, cariño, delicadeza, y eso lo hemos encontrado a faltar. Una lástima, porque el potencial ahí está, pero hay mucho margen de mejora.
