We had a lovely evening! Waiters were very helpful, friendly and good compagy... Good wines and liquor. The food was delicious. Especially the filled squid, the tepid seafood salad and the fried fish. A real must visiting Levanto!

I had a really lovely dinner here and everything was so good! Food was delicious and made with passion and care, and the service was very warm and perfectly attentive. This is not their first restaurant and I really enjoyed the food at their previous endeavor, so I was excited to try it out. First, after reading some reviews, I was expecting a meat-heavy menu, but that wasn't the case at all! If that were true, it would be very unusual for this area, which is not known for meat and very much known for its fresh seafood! The proprietors take care in selecting the best fresh fish, and their menu reflects a diverse menu that features and celebrates local seafood. At their previous restaurant, their pansotti con salsa di noci was so good that it was something I always ordered. I was sad to think that I might never have it again, so I was very happy to see it on the menu! Personally, I think it's the best in town. I ate outside and didn't see upstairs, but the interior was lovely and well-appointed, with a grand staircase leading up to the dining room. Service was friendly and warm, food was delicious and on point. Piazza Cavour has some great people-watching, and where else can you dine in the courtyard of an old convent? I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I hope to see them succeed. They clearly have a passion for good, quality food.

This restaurant has a great location, overlooking a not busy piazzeta. Outside of the restaurant there is a seating area that definitely during warm days makes it a good place. The food was decent, however, with the cost, it didn’t really prove to be as impressive. We ordered a mashed cod and potatoes appetizer which is very similar to the inside of a bolinho di bacalhao that you find in Portugal. As a main, we ordered one of the fishes of the day dishes. It was a good fish, but very simple, no salt, nothing extra than the baking.. the veggies surrounding it were all baked and tasty, but nothing impressive. For a dish that costed +70 euros.. it didn’t fully deliver. My partner ordered a glass of wine and when we asked the same wine again, he was in fact given a different one. It happens, of course, however when he ordered the second glass he tried to explain to the waiter what wine he had, but he told him to not worry, he knows. But he didn’t.. My partner decided to keep the ‘wrong’ wine as in fact it proved to be better than the first one 😅 Not a bad place, but not something I would necessarily return for.

If you want meat this is the place ! We had tomahawk and delicious red wine ! Was a little over done but good quality! Service was a bit slow but kind! The tables in the piazza was the best and always lots of stuff going on there !

Excellent restaurant, food was really good and well presented. Great selection of local dishes, mostly seafood but some non seafood alternatives. Great selection of local wines. My pasta was good but a little unde salted. Service was good.

Service was great and food was tasty, although limited food menu. Bread and parmesan was served before the meal. Tap water is available. Nice quiet outside seating location next to orange trees by the open square. Was pretty quite before 7:30pm on a Monday. Note that there is a 2 euro charge per person for a table.

Food is really tasty and really good. But… 2 things to change to make it 5* 1. The menu is a mess Doesn’t say what the starters, primer or segundi plati are Just a list of dishes in one block Doesn’t separate the wines too in the by the glass section (between Reds / rosados / whites). It’s an easy fix, come on ! 2. Portions are tiny Look at the size of my lasagna. Finished it in 6 bites! When I said it to the chef, he got very defensive, explaining how many grams each of his dishes weighs ! Well… a chef weighing his lasagna isn’t a good sign, is it? Are you that cheap ? We read the most recent reviews on our way back to the hotel. They all say the same thing, so rather than being defensive take reviews into consideration!

Really nice and polite staff. Restaurant looks well kept and clean, including the toilet. Somewhat limited menu if youre not a big fan of fish, but its to be expected from a coastline town. We ordered strak, veggie-pasta and a fried fish dish. It took a fairly long time to get the food, and all but the fish dish tasted good. Fried fish dish tasted good but the presentation was strange/unfamiliar, and some off putting. This could be personal perferance but we are tourists after all.

Only in very rare opportunities I give a 1⭐... and my short review is a subjective experience: I just just wanted to take an appetizer (aperitivo) on the outside with my family (2+2). All the tables were prepared for dining, but empty... "U can sit on the high bar stools out side..." - "Zero f**** given!"... nice... Trust me it was not a language problem, I speak Italian in quite proper way... I was 100% lack of interest. May be another day it would have been a 5⭐ experience... cheers Dave
