I had a Dr. Pepper smoothie for the first time. It was absolutely delicious. My husband tasted it and was jealous! Lol. He did enjoy his Dr. Pepper sno though. We got 2 pup sno's too! The customer service could use some training. The boy on the speaker kept asking "what else", and the lady at the window didn't present a friendly attitude. But, they weren't rude.
Made my son snow cone even 5 min after they closed two employees are awesome.
Bahama Buck's in Lewisville is seriously a chill little spot, especially on a hot day. The shaved ice is suuuper fluffy and they’ve got tons of flavors—highly recommend the Tiger’s Blood or Bahama Mama. The vibe is laid-back, super island-y, and the staff are always upbeat and quick with the service. Prices are fair too, so it’s an easy win when you're craving something sweet but not too heavy.
Absolutely delicious & so many flavors to chose from. The young lady working the drive thru was super friendly & kind. Love that she gave us extra napkins without having to ask.
I visited this establishment and had a fantastic experience. The shop is located in a great area and is easy to find. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who were eager to help me select my flavors. The menu had a great variety of options, from classic flavors like cherry and blue raspberry to more unique ones like pineapple and watermelon. I decided to try the "Tiger's Blood" flavor, which was a blend of strawberry, watermelon, and coconut. It was absolutely delicious! The texture of the ice was perfect - fluffy and easy to eat without being too crunchy or hard. The syrup was evenly distributed throughout the cone, so every bite was full of flavor. Plus, the portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price. The shop itself was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating available inside and outside. The atmosphere was lively and had colorful decorations adding to the ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend anyone looking for a tasty and refreshing treat on a hot day. The friendly staff, delicious flavors, and comfortable setting make it a great spot for families, couples, or anyone craving a sweet snack. I'll definitely be back soon!
Haven’t gone to a bahama buck’s in YEARS, and this location was great for my first in a few years . Great staff and the location was convenient. Pretty quiet but went on a Sunday evening around 4/4:30ish.
One of the best places to go for a snow cone all year long. I hope you open one in Northwest Arkansas (Fort Smith). So when I go home to visit I can take my grandbabies. I love this place. It's a must try. Friendly staff very helpful.
Love this location! Deb made a recommendation and I loved it!! Try the kokomoko next time you are there! Clean location! It does get busy during certain hours but the girls there do their best to give you great customer service! They also have board games to use while there, tshirts for sale, and gift cards!
I have been back so many times! They have the best shaved iced! The staff are so sweet !!! They recommended the Jamaican punch and I’m addicted!
This place is the best! Their Bahama Coloda, Frostalatte Playa del Caramel y the Strawberry freeze cake! Worth the drive from Tarrant county! The staff is always friendly.
Best shaved ice I've experienced! I grew up in New Orleans and we usually call them snowballs! <3 But this shaved ice tasted like icecream it was so smooth
My girlfriend loves snowcones and couldn't wait to bring me to try Bahama Buck's. I'm not a huge fan of snowcones, but how could I resist a Wedding Cake flavored cup of ice on a warm day like this? The outside of the building doesn't do the quality of what's inside it justice, but I suppose that's the charm of a place like this. The service was fast and friendly, and they offer samples if you are overwhelmed by the vast assortment of flavors to choose from. It's a no brainer that we'll be coming back again this summer!
Great place to relax and have a snow cone. Play some board games or just relax on the patio. The owner is a great guy and really treats his employees really well.
Hmmmm....got a free Birthday Cake snow ball with frequent user card. It was really delicious. I enjoy coming to this one location since it is always easy to get into and out of the parking lot. The workers inside are usually friendly and quick.
If you love chocolate and java you have to try the smoothie #15!! Today, the radio KLTY and Al Boenker Insurance got together and from 4 to 5 pm they paid every order made by customers! How great is that?! I loved the smoothie and will go soon again.
Bahama Bucks has great snowballs. I rated it a four because of customer service provided by young employees. They don’t listen and they rude with a smile. Give me what I ordered and keep your opinion. That’s it!!!
Love the snow this place puts out, always great customer service followed with exceptional cones and more. The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the price. If you find yourself craving delicious snow and don't mind paying for premium, this is the place to go!
Great variety of flavors to choose from that are true to taste. My daughter's go to is tiger's blood, and I love the banana colada. The shaved ice is fine and airy combined with a thicker syrup that doesn't instantly sink to the bottom of the cup. The atmosphere is laid back and fun with friendly and helpful staff. Play a board game inside, enjoy some tetherball outdoors, or lounge on the patio and enjoy good conversation, whatever suits you best. The drive-thru is also fast and convenient if you're on the go. The price is a bit high, and the place could use fresh decor; the only reason I didn't give five stars. Overall a great family treat/outing to spend some time together.
Every time I come inside, the service is questionable...meaning the workers usually ignore me for about 5-10 minutes and then take my order. There isn't usually a greeting or a simple I will be with you in a moment. The employees should be trained to greet the customers and let them know when they will be waited on. I am simply ignored while they make other orders. After waiting/being ignored for several minutes, my order was taken. The order was made correctly. It was yummy!
The staff wasn't very friendly. Didn't acknowledge us for 5 min and there was no one in front of us. Seemed annoyed that we were there. Also the snow cone didn't have syrup all the way through. I like paying for just ice...
Revised review: This has been happening frequently recently where the center is unflavored snow. Original Review: Hot or cold outside this is the best treat around.
This was the first time I had taken my mom to Bahama Bucks. I always bragged about it, but this experience really fell through. We waited 40 minutes for two snow cones… 15 minutes into our wait, I politely asked on of the employees how much longer it would be. She said there were 2-3 orders ahead of mine, and assured me it would not be much longer. I guess it takes 25 minutes to make 2-3 orders then… I noticed the drive thru lane was moving fairly quickly. It was disappointing that the workers seemed to cater to the drive thru lane much faster than the customers inside. Finally, we got our snocones. I paid an extra dollar to try the bomb pop snocone, and it looked like I got half of a bomb pop with my order. It was just a very disappointing experience and unfortunately did not live up to the hype. My mom was less than impressed :( P.S. When we were waiting, we saw a worker carrying a block of ice above his head with his bare hand and no gloves. Not very sanitary. Every other worker was wearing gloves so I am not sure why he wasn’t. I know that ice wasn’t in my snocone because mine came out 30 minutes later 🤠
