The Great Greek Lewisville Reviews
I don’t even like lamb, but OMG. The Great Greek so profoundly changed my mind after trying a piece that I ordered a whole plate! Lemon potatoes were amazing. Rice was delicious. And do yourself a favor and order the baklava ice cream with baklava sauce drizzle. Life changing!! Staff was attentive and friendly. Outstanding restaurant all around. We will definitely be returning.
The staff was so friendly! Upon walking in, we were being welcomed. We eat a lot of Greek food and thought this place was great! I like my falafel a little bit crispier but the way they cooked it was still great. We got the dessert sampler, all 3 were delicious! The portions are hefty so we were pretty full by the time we got the dessert. After seeing the portions, we thought the value was there. We’re happy to have this option near home, especially a healthy option!
We are happy to have a quality Greek quick-service restaurant option now! The tzatziki sauce and Greek salad dressing were perfectly seasoned. My falafel pita was the best falafel I have had in years, and the pita itself was warm and pillowy. My husband's gyro plate was great too, with the meat perfectly cooked and seasoned. And the feta fries....Best ones I have ever had! Cheese was plentiful and was baked onto the fries, I only counted 3 fries that were bare. Portion sizes are good value too. Only complaint is that our food didn't come out at the same time (we dined in). My husband's gyro plate was brought out almost two minutes before my meal. Overall, a great experience and we will be back!
Honestly I wanted to come here and complain about the price, I was thinking $30 for a meal is kinda crazy - But, I was stopped in my tracks when I tasted this food, hands down best Greek food I’ve had in the area ! For sure! Probably the best baklava I’ve ever had in the US (I’ve never been to Greek so idk) I did get a steak and chicken skewer so I guess $22 for the plate is reasonable, maybe Id be happier if I got the drink for free with the meal bc with tip and tax it came out to just under $30 - I really can’t complain tho bc the employees are so kind and great customer service ! They brought me a free scoop of their delicious baklava ice cream I think bc they saw me looking at my receipt alil funny lol , great food, great people , clean environment ! 10/10
Food was really good! The hummus is excellent. The staff is very attentive and focused on giving good service.
Everything came out fresh! Very tasty! Great portion size of the salad and the chicken skewer!
! I’m so glad I stopped in — I’ll definitely be back. The staff was friendly, the vibes were great, and they even offered a sample since I was trying something new. I’m officially hooked on their hummus, made fresh from scratch every day. Highly recommend!”
Being from Detroit, I got used to excellent Lebanese and Greek food 😋 glad The Great Greek restaurant is in our neighborhood. Loved the food and delicious baklava.

The customer service was great. The staff was helpful and pretty quick with our orders considering we were a group of 6+. They don’t skimp on the meat which is great. The flavors are good too. Recommend!
Delicious food! Our family loves coming here for a quick mid week meal or a lunch date on weekends while out shopping! I would have taken a photo but we ate it too fast!
Amazing authentic food! Very fresh. The staff and management top notch. We'll be back soon.

The staff here is the best!! Al can COOK! Came here because a close friend of mine stopped by earlier in the week with some friends and they would not stop talking about how delicious the Shrimp Souvlaki is... I was blown away! Next time I will try the Lemon Potatoes
Definitely delicious. Yes the price is a tad more than what you may see at other places, BUT the portion sizes given are worth the money. The hummus and pita bread are delicious, the gyros are packed with substance and flavor, and desert is wonderful. Come dine in, the atmosphere is clean and spacious. Live your life deliciously
Super friendly staff! Food was great! Ordered a gyro.. for a picky gyro eater! Loved the food! Super excited to try more things! Right down the street makes their new home even better.
Update: I emailed the regional manager with this feedback in a very polite and non-demanding way. What I received was a ChatGPT-generated response that offered a meal on him, without outlining a way to do so. Needless to say, the Great Greek in DFW is phoning it in all the way up to ownership. Just go to a Gyro360 location, they're really solid. I want to like this place, but the food was pretty mediocre. Fortunately, they have the right ingredients. As someone who grew up in a very Greek part of New Jersey, they have almost everything they need to make a good gyro. 1) They NEED to do a secondary cook/grilling of the gyro meat (like on a griddle/flat top) to add a bit of color and crispness, the meat I got was good-quality and safe to eat but not ready because they cut it off the spit and didn't make it tasty. Imagine eating a steak that's cooked well but there's almost zero sear... yea. I don't expect them to keep the gyro loaf on a super high temp if they aren't doing festival-level volume so grilling is needed. 2) Pita was hardly grilled, was nearly out of the bag or left on a warmer. 3) Toppings were put on for presentation but not taste; the tzatziki and cheese in particular were just thrown on top of a piece of meat, which is terrible because it'll just get tossed around. Maybe put the lettuce on top and the tzatziki on top of that. Laziness from the chain and management who don't know cooking basics, I wouldn't blame the workers. I probably won't be coming back, since there are mom & pop shops that probably do it right for a lot cheaper. But I figured it'd be worth leaving the feedback after I spent $15 on the gyro and an extra $6.50 on a handful of fries and a drink. 😔

The food was pretty good. I went to dine in on a Friday night and waited 40mins for my order which came out wrong. It seemed they were prioritizing the take outs over the dine in. I'll be back when they fix the staffing. $50.00 for 2 pitas, fries and drinks seemed a lot for this.
I do not get this place, the prices are too high, the food is too messy and the service is too slow. $60 for 2 sandwiches and kids tenders is crazy. Waiting an hour for quick service is crazy. The gyros are sloppy, not easy to eat without a knife and fork, they tasted fine, the meat has no char, there is really nothing that is making me want to return to this place.
Food is not worth the price. Quality is lacking, both the side salad and tzatziki sauce were missing in our order. Food took a while to come out.
