Chinese Kitchen has been fantastic every time I've been. Highly recommend giving them a try, they are definitely one of the best--if not *the* best--Chinese takeout restaurants in the area.

People call things a mom and pop shop. All the time, but this is really a mom.And pop shop it is ran by two elderly folks that are the best people on earth. It's not much of a dining room. But the food is to die for when you want chinese takeout. They serve drinks in the can, so don't count on a large or something like that, but the food is well worth your time. The dumplings are out of this world and anything involving shrimp is well worth your time. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I have been going here for hundreds of years. Probably why I am still living. Eat from Chinese Kitchen and live long time.

Orange chicken was great. I don’t think they cook with a lot of sodium which is good for me because I always have to drink a bottle of water after eating Chinese take out. Wait was short and I think I was in and out in less than 10 minutes without placing an order ahead of time.

For the money this place is the bomb. Really good food at unbelievably low prices. They are very friendly. Every time I come through Little Rock I go out of my way. Trotter number 5 lunch special. Very unique dish fried chicken breast over lettuce with almond brown gravy. It is delicious

I am never disappointed when I come here. Great food and even better service. Pictured is the pork fried rice, hot and sour soup (it is sooo good!) and General Tso's Chicken.

The couple who owns this place is absolutely lovely! My daughter and I have been going there for years and the lady always remembers us, even when we’re not together and asks after the other. Their hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever had. Their dumplings and any of the fried rice are always delicious as well! The prices also can’t be beat for fresh food made to order!

We ordered the Cashew Chicken and Warr Shui Guy. Delicious. They have the best hot and sour soup and fried rice.

So good and very reasonably priced. This is not really a dine in place though. I think I counted 3 tables and 10 chairs. Plan on getting food to go. We got 4 entrees, close to their closing, and it was around 40 bucks. Food was very good and big portions which was surprising for the cost and time of day. We will definitely be back. It’ll be on our regular rotation.

As my dining companion at lunch today at Chinese Kitchen said, "This is the ultimate mom and pop place." The older couple, apparently husband and wife, who took our order and prepared our food could not have been nicer. We appreciated that they gave us bottles of water free when we asked for water with our meal. And when the man, who seems to do most of the cooking, brought our food out to us, he couldn't have been more congenial and polite. Given how nice the folks owning and running Chinese Kitchen are, I'd love to give this restaurant 5 stars. I can't do that in good conscience, though, because the food is at best only a serviceable highly Americanized version of Chinese food. It lacks much taste or finesse. There are better Americanized "Chinese" restaurants in our local community. But this is the kind of "Chinese" food many people in central Arkansas really crave, so Chinese Kitchen does a robust business, though it's primarily a take-out place with only three small tables for dine-in customers. Your food comes to you at those tables already in styrofoam take-out boxes, too. The calling cards here for some folks are the two dishes that incorporate fried chicken, warr shui guy and precious chicken. I had the latter, and it was okay, though not in any way exceptional. The batter for the chicken is overly salty, the vegetables served with the chicken are way too overcooked, and there's no hint of seasoning of any kind (e.g., ginger, garlic) other than salt. On the plus side, there were lots of chunks of fried chicken in my serving of precious chicken. So, great welcome and treatment by the owners-cooks, not much atmosphere, and unexceptional Americanized Chinese food: that's Chinese Kitchen.

It's not a place to eat in, so it had no atmosphere. I was disappointed with the food. The rice was too sticky. The broccoli chicken had little taste. The moo-goo was too salty, and the hot and sour soup was hot and sweet. It's just not good. But the people who worked there were very nice.

It's a decent place. Often closed for some special reason. It doesn't serve sesame chicken most of the time.

The service from the owners was excellent. I was really excited to try the food. We paid about 30 bucks and this was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was honestly tasteless. fresh, but tasteless.

Very bland food. Ordered kung pow chicken and had no flavor. Noodles were so bad could not even finish. Absolutely no flavor. I recommend never to go here.

First time there it's hard to find a good Chinese food restaurant but I ordered sweet and sour chicken it was not good it was soggy in the sauce and it tasted like a brillo pad like he cleaned the grill and didn't fully wipe it down and I ordered shrimp fried rice.. the rice was burnt the only good thing was the egg rolls

Pepper Steak was TERRIBLE!!!! 😢 NEVER AGAIN. Bell peppers and onions over cooked, soft & mushy. The sauce was a brown gravy. Taste nothing like this before. Tossed food in garbage.

The food is not good and I do not recommend. The fried rice is weird - it's a strange color and there was no egg, onion, or peas in it - tasted different too. I got pineapple chicken and expected something very different than what I got. Canned pineapple with flat pieces of chicken. I wish there had been a better description as I do not like carrots. My husband got the beef peppersteak -it tasted weird as did the gravy it was in. Eggrolls were fried until burnt. The wontons are flat. Portions weren't up to standard either. We spent $40 on this. I'm perplexed about the 5 star reviews. The lower ratings and reviews match our experience.
