Donut Wheel Livermore Reviews
The hours of operation are perfect for an late night or early morning snack.
Donut holes are the best. We buy some whenever we are in the area. The lady behind the counter is courteous and fills out order promptly. And they do have tables and chairs if you wish to sit and enjoy. Thank you.
This place has been here as long as I can remember. Used to commute from Fremont to Tracy. Always a great stop for donuts n coffee.. they have these donut holes filled with custard n some with jelly.. Hella good.. still stop when I can.
Amazing donuts lots of options not a bad price. They stayed open and where happy to help everyone even during a big downtown event with live music.
Forgot to take a picture because I enjoyed this spot! The owner asked me if I could get a cream-filled round chocolate donut 😀
BEST PLACE IN LIVERMORE loyal customer for life the same dude works here and he’s the GOAT EAT HERE
A Livermore staple! Make sure you have cash, but they do have an ATM & the manager was there and accepted my Zelle. Bummed their hot cocoa machine was down when we stopped by last time. Always grab a dozen donut holes - fun and delicious bite size snacks for later.
The Donut Wheel has some amazing Donuts! Definitely worth picking up a Dozen +1 😉 I suggest the Old Fasion Glazed or Plain.
Hands down the BEST donut shop in the bay area. Their donuts are unbelievably good, like melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I've tried almost every flavor, and I haven't found a single one I didn't love.
I really enjoyed donut will however I did not get any donuts. We did purchase some donut holes and had a conversation with the staff member there. This place is located in downtown Livermore and is open 24 hours. If you're in the mood for donuts late night, stop by and check them out
The sweetest older gentleman helped us out with some of the best donuts. He made my night being so kind and helpful with suggestions. Would go back again and again! Super fresh and good donuts.
Keep checking on the time for up and close. We haven't been by here much but it looks like it's open later now. 2024 update It is open 24 hrs but closed briefly at 9pm for shift change Steady stream of customers after 9pm Thursday, September 5 2024 Old review Usually would do 5 stars, because as pedestrian and a bit run down as Donut Wheel appears, they are the best donuts in the Bay Area, and we try every donut place we come across. Ditch the gourmet expensive ones that are popping up all over. THESE are REAL donuts. but last night they were out of some of our favorite donuts. Hence the 4 stars. I understand. It's a small family operation like Liguria Bakery in SF. They run out. So be prepared to not have you first choice if you're there late Saturday night. . Still worth the trip if you're in the Livermore area, or passing by on 580 to the Sierras or to home. ******* Update July 1, 2023. We still believe in the wheel. It's a family operation and they do have staffing issues on occasion. While listed closed at 10pm Saturday night, they're only closing long enough for the clerk to get his father in law and they will be open all Saturday night long. Ask the clerks for updates on hours. Things do change. Remember, the early birds get the stuffed donut holes. Please patronize a great family owned place. Covid screwed things up and more sales will help out. More donuts equals more smiles
I get the place is old but soap and water is free and the store could look like it belongs in Livermore not Stockton...I'm a military veteran I love the doughnuts but can't help seeing all the issues doughnuts piled in a bucket on the floor doughnuts under the table old faded signs ECT reminds me of Iraq..
This is the first donut store - that I know of - that is open for 24 hours. The store reminds me of the 1990s. They are CASH ONLY. We tried their chocolate donut with rainbow sprinkles, custard filled donut and their classic donut. All were fresh and really soft. Might drive here again to try their other donuts.
There’s something to be said for a place that has a cash only. Not everybody carries cash but OK. And then when I asked for a small box to put my donuts in, they said they didn’t have a small box only big one and didn’t offer me that just an OK donut shop nothing fancy.
Is cash only still a thing? Apparently so. On the plus side they do have maple bars but since I did not buy anything I can not attest to their level of freshness.
I was told Donut wheel has the best Donuts . They lied i went to pick up a Dozen Donuts at 5am . Terrible selection not to mention they were stail . At 5am and you don't have fresh Donuts . $18 dollars for stail day old Donuts. Never again.
the donut here is decent but the workers here are super rude! i was outside taking a picture of my cousin and a worker from this place comes out of nowhere and gets mad at us for taking pictures of him. we were very confused, anyways we go in and it just becomes worse. we are ordering and the worker asked what we want and i pointed and said the sugar one and she says in a very rude tone “you mean the cinnamon sugar” and just rudely keeps correcting us.
This used to be my go-to donut shop wherever I came to Livermore.. I think this will be my last time purchasing donuts from here.. The donuts I bought were dry, and one was even stale and old tasting.. I got a glazed donut.. a jelly donuts and 2 cinnamon cake donuts.. my husband even agreed with me.. this donuts shop has gone downhill..
