Fratello's Livermore Reviews
Had lunch on Friday, six of us so we got to taste many dishes. Started with warm bread, similar to focaccia, with a accompaniment of basalmic/olive oil/capers. Yum! Pesto pasta & gnocchi we're excellent. Beautiful salad. Everything was very good, including the service. Nice atmosphere, loved the background music. Had a few wines to choose from, they're still working on their wine list. They have an extensive menu. We will definitely be back to try more things.
Really, really good food. Surprised it was so slow on a Friday night, the food was excellent, the wait wasn't too long, the staff was very friendly. I look forward to going back. The sangria we got tasted amazing, too.
We came at almost 7 on a Tuesday. There was no one in the place and I had reservations about going in. But, I wanted salmon. The focaccia bread was hot from the oven and delicious. My salmon was yummy. He had the sausage and pepperoni calzone. All was great. Really good, even the house salad.
Love this Italian place! Now in downtown Livermore. Great Food, Great Servers/Owners. You'll love the food selection.!
The best Italian,Sicilian restaurant I have ever been , great service and amazing chef , the owner Omar and Donnis treat us like kings , for a small restaurant dishes are amazing, not over priced , I totally recommend Fratello’s restaurant
Marvelous food with excellent service! Highly recommend if you want quality Italian food.

Wanted a tasty meal in a relaxed environment. We are regulars and rarely use a menu. We arrived about 15 minutes after the restaurant opened and were in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Our meal was hot and tasty and the 🍷 was good.
If you are looking for a restaurant that offers amazing food and service this is the place for you! The food was absolutely amazing and delicious! I found their menu to have a lot of variety and options, at times Italian restaurants can seem very basic with the types of dishes they offer but not Fratello’s! I had their Linguine Pollo Pra Diavolo and I have never had anything like it anywhere else. It was a delicious semi spicy marinara sauce and the chicken was cooks perfectly and the pieces were already bite size. I will be coming back again and again and I’ll make sure to bring other people so that they can experience Fratello’s as well! The restaurant was very nice inside and I loved how all of the tables were set up it was a beautifully set entrance. Their complementary bread was very hot and fresh. Their tiramisu was to die for! Our waiter even sang to the birthday girl when he found out it was her birthday. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we were doing well, he kept our waters full and was very nice and sweet to us. This restaurant deserves to be visited by everyone in Livermore and by those visiting!
Fratello’s Livermore isn't just another Italian restaurant; it's a celebration of fresh, flavorful food served with genuine hospitality. I've had the pleasure of dining there twice and using their catering service for a party, and each experience has been exceptional. The menu is a love letter to Italian’s. From perfectly al dente pasta dishes to succulent seafood specialties, every bite is a testament to quality ingredients and culinary expertise. Everything is bursting with flavor, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. The staff at is as delightful as the food. They're attentive without being intrusive, offering recommendations and making sure your dining experience is seamless. They genuinely seem passionate about the food and the restaurant, which adds a personal touch to the whole experience. What truly sets them apart is their dedication to fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can taste the difference in every dish. Here's the surprising part: despite the exceptional quality, the prices remain very reasonable. You get incredible value for your money, making it a perfect spot for any occasion, from a casual weeknight dinner to a special celebration. Their commitment to quality extends to their catering service as well. I recently used them for a party, and the food was a huge hit with everyone. They were easy to work with, offering a variety of options to fit our needs. In short, if you're looking for authentic Italian food, exceptional service, and a commitment to quality, look no further than the Livermore location. You won't be disappointed. I met Omar, the owner. He’s experienced and takes is profession seriously.
The food was great! I would come back again. Wonderful service.
1st time here! Service was great, waiter was pleasant & willing to answer questions. Food was very good. I had Eggplant Parmesan. I am particular in its preparation, I DO NOT like the skin left on! They DO PEEL the skin & it was delicious! My husband was disappointed they did not have lasagna but he opted for the meat raviolis and it did not disappoint! We ended with Tiramisu...also wonderful.
This cute little bistro is tucked behind a Carl's JR. I'm so happy my co-worker turned me onto this place. Food was good. I had the risotto it was flavorful. The bread is to die for and the service was good. I cant wait to go back and try something new. It is on the pricey side for lunch. Salad and risotto was $21.00 however it was a nice treat.
Picked this for a dinner while passing through, and was pleasantly surprised - was better than I expected. Flavors were great, food was perfectly prepared. Felt authentic.Definitely a keeper. We had the salmon and a pizza margarita, and fresh foccacia with olive oil balsamic dish also came in.
The food was exceptional! And the service was fantastic. The atmosphere is very nice... it's a great place for an Italian dinner with easy parking and a quick short walk from downtown Livermore.

This is a small independent, family operated, Italian restaurant. The former tenants here we're a family offering Mexican food. This is not exactly a great location but I hope they make it because food is really good, service is out standing, staff is really friendly and helpful and they just seem to deserve to be successful. They offered the standard pastos and a fairly complete menu of other standard Italian dishes. The only shortcoming that seen on the menu is they don't have any lamb. Pricing is moderate, especially for the high quality and good portions that you receive.
The food was seriously incredible! Top 3 Italian dishes I've had, and I go to a lot of Italian places. I read that the atmosphere could use some work, and I agree. The lighting, vibe, music, interior design, etc. was all just a little odd and off. HOWEVER, if I had to choose between great atmosphere and great food, I'll choose great food any day.
We had only been to the old location but really liked it ao thought we'd try the new one. Some of the art work was still from Anita's but they added some italian pictures. It wasn't too busy when we walked in but did get busier. There were 2 servers and 1 busboy, Not sure how many cooks. The service was slow but I think they need more help. We finally got our food, but had to ask 5 minutes later for parmesan cheese since the server never came back. The food was good but a bit pricy for pasta. It seemed like everyone waited a while for their food. The people are very nice and the food is good but not sure we will go back.

I tried ordering to-go food at 8:23 PM. On Google it says they stay open until 9 PM. If the person who answered the phone would’ve just explained and not hung up on me, I would’ve been more understanding. Bad service without even walking through the door. Hanging up on a customer is not the way to treat anyone. Do better!
Not open! Never went there, so the one star is not for what the restaurant was, but they are no longer open
Well, unfortunately I hated the food here. I am a pretty accomplished cook and have been to Italy twice. Now, I am not comparing their food to Italy but the food we had was barely edible. We had the Bruschetta, which was terrible, very salty with barely, if any olive oil and almost no balsamic. But it was loaded with capers (which I don't care for) and arugula. We also tried the shrimp as an appetizer. Had a tough time getting it out of its shell and did not taste fresh. I had the Rigatoni with Prosciutto in a Vodka Cream sauce. I am sorry to say that a Stouffer frozen entree was better than this. The pasta was dry, no flavor in the barely there sauce. I only ate a small portion, brought the rest home and tossed it. My friend had the fish which they said was "okay" they also only ate half and took the rest home. The service was good, but the decor and the ambiance lacked. I guess the first warning sign should have been Italian food by Hildago....
