Kin Phed Livermore Reviews
Food and flavor was definitely 10/10. Been thru different Thai restaurants around the bay and this place for me is #1! Service was great as well. No gimmicks, taste and flavor of all the food will just make you feel like you're in Thailand.
Kin Phed is an awesome place! We had such a great meal here! The Pad Thai was super tasty — the noodles were cooked just right and had that awesome mix of sweet and tangy flavors. The Bangkok Fried Rice totally hit the spot too — packed with flavor and really fresh ingredients. The staff were super nice and made us feel right at home. Cozy spot, great food, and just an all-around awesome experience. We’ll definitely be back!
My husband picked this newly established restaurant for the father's day dinner. We made reservation and got table immediately on arrival. We ordered 5 dishes and 3 drinks. 1. Chicken wings: scrispy and flavorful 5/5 2. Pad Gra Prow: super flavorful. This is our favorite 5/5 3. Garlic lime river shrimp: beautifully flavored. A little undercooked 4.9/5 4. Thai boat noodle soup with beef: flavorful and exotic 4.8/5 5. Slow-braised pork leg: tender but needs more flavor 4/5 6. Thai coconut tea: strong tea but a bit too sweet 4.3/5 7. Lemonade. I didn't taste it but my son emptied it. We would totally come back to try other dishes and highly recommend this newly establishment. Updated on February 23, 2026: We came back the second time yesterday. I reordered the garlic lime river prawns. My husband tried the oxtail on the specialty menu. He was impressed with his soup and enjoyed every bite until the last drop. I loved the prawns. Can't wait to come back again.
LOVED the food! Awesome, authentic Thai street food packed with flavor. Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with such care, clearly showcasing the rich history of Thailand. The portions were generous, and the attention to aesthetic detail made the meal even more enjoyable. It’s evident that the chefs take great pride in their craft, as each plate was perfectly balanced with bold, vibrant flavors. A truly delightful and immersive culinary experience that I highly recommend. We tried so many different dishes (forgot to take some photos) and would definitely come back again!
Great place for Thai food. We’ve been here twice and the food was great both times. We came during the weekdays for dinner, and we did not have to wait for a table. We tried the following dishes: Corn Cream Cheese Wonton Chicken Wings Pad Thai Leng Zaap Pad Gra Prow Rice Over Double Eggs (with Pork) Pok Pok Dry Noodle Bangkok Fried Rice Spicy Basil Fried Rice The highlights: Pad Thai, Bangkok Fried Rice, Spicy Basil Fried Rice, Pok Pok Dry Noodle. All of these dishes were superb and I highly recommend trying these out. The Pad Thai had a strong tangy-sweet flavor combined with the smokiness of the wok-hei. It was a “wet” pad thai, but the noodles still had a good chew to it and was not mushy at all. I don’t usually like pad thai but this was probably the best thing on the menu. The Bangkok Fried Rice also had great wok-hei and had a great umami flavor to it, making it an excellent pair for any protein dish or as a standalone dish. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice had a really strong basil flavor, which I absolutely loved. Combine it with its spiciness, it makes you crave more food. If you love basil or just want a spicy fried rice, then this is for you. The Pok Pok Dry Noodles is a bit more different from the others. Like the name suggests, it is a dry noodle with ingredients on top. The reason why this stood out is because the noodles were cooked perfectly and it blended well with the toppings that it had. It’s a very balanced dish, and you can’t go wrong with trying it out if you like dry noodles. The rest of the dishes were all good as well, it’s just that they did not really stand out that much compared to the ones mentioned above. I do want to point out the Leng Zaap. the pork was absolutely delicious and soft, but it was spicy and sour. If you cannot handle spicy or sour foods, then you should skip it. The dishes are not expensive and are priced similarly to other Thai restaurants. Customer service here is great. The waitresses are nice and as attentive as they can be. Parking can be a little difficult if you come during peak time. Overall a solid place for Thai food. Will definitely come back here again.
Authentic Thai cuisine, If you love the real thai food, this is the best place to come.
This place was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chicken satay and the roti for apps which came with a wonderful creamy peanut sauce. We also ordered the basil eggplant, pumpkin curry, and the pad thai that was all really flavorful and had just the right amount of kick! The service was really quick and perfect for a nice lunch.
Wonderful neighborhood Thai restaurant. Everything we ate here was good and the service was warm and quick. I especially loved the chicken satay one of the best we have had in the Bay area.
First time there. Service was quick, greeted nicely and the food was outstanding. It was a clean and pleasant environment and worth the money. I will be a regular customer
thai restaurant that just open with cafe style atmosphere. The menu has alot of authentic thai comfort food. but today I am adventurous and ordered pork blood soup which is one of the collection of thai boat noodles. My bowl is on the generous size with black glassy broth. It has tender meat, tendons, slither of liver and glass thin noodles. The broth is burst with flavor, sour, umami flavor with a hint of iron from the pork blood. It was an experience eating this dish as the ingredients melted together in your mouth and take you back to Thailand. I am highly recommending this restaurant as they have nice staff, fast service and authentic thai food. Definitely coming back for more to try.

Amazing, tasty, and authentic - what a great place to open next to the dance school and Kumon! I had something from their Thai Night Market Street Food section, the Slow-Braised Pork Leg. It's so authentic I didn't recognize any of the dish names from that section. I confirmed with the waitress that the owners are from Thailand, and it shows. I can't wait to come back to try everything on the menu! They have the classics - pad thai, red curry, chicken satay - but also delicacies like big head prawns and whole fish. Six different kinds of salads - would be perfect for the hotter weather in Livermore over the summer. I miss Dandy Dogs, but I hope these guys do really well!

This place is AMAZING! Our waitress Miggy was so sweet when we asked for her recommendations and the food was phenomenal! We had a group of 3 and it was quick service and delicious food. If I lived here year round I would be here at least once a week!
We finally tried KIN PHED and were not disappointed at all. The food was delicious!! The Pad Thai was the best I’ve had in a while! We also ordered the Pad Gra Prow Rice over Double Eggs, the wings, and crispy dumplings. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be going back! They also have this amazing hot sauce that I could have on anything! They let us order that for free (when a lot of places are trying to charge for such things now). I thought food was great, overall the prices were good, the portions were solid, staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Zero complaints!
We pick up Thai food from here every couple of weeks! Excellent Thai, with plenty of options. We love the Drunken Noodles and Green Curry in particular!
Super great food. The staff was amazing. Ask for recommendations if you are unsure of what you would like. You will not be left disappointed
My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was above and beyond. They served the best pad Thai I have ever had and everything that we ate was so full of flavor. We will definitely be returning.
Great little restaurant-large menu with lots of variety. Food is delicious and service is friendly. Highly recommend.
We came here on a weeknight to celebrate my mom’s birthday with a party of 12, and we were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful everything was. The food was absolutely delicious. They had a traditional Lao papaya salad, which is rare to find and such a treat. The tom kha soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. We also loved the braised pork over rice, so tender and satisfying and the pad thai was a crowd favorite at the table. Honestly, every dish we tried was a hit. The staff was warm and accommodating with our large group. They let us bring our own cake, helped plate it, and even provided a candle, which made the celebration feel extra special. Such a great spot for a family dinner.
Service was good, and all the food was really good! Definitely a highly recommended Thai spot! The place is small, but our party of 13 was able to fit in the middle and they were able to help us well. Noodle dishes and yellow curry were great!

All I have to say is that this restaurant is incredible!!! Everything I've had here is absolutely delicious-the Pad Thai is life changing! The Pad see ew with beef-is the BEST I've ever had. I literally could go on and on. The owner is so sweet and attentive!! Stellar service ❤️

Went there for the second time last night. The food is great. They have fun Thai teas (my favorite is the lychee). Great cozy atmosphere. Food is fresh. Service was a bit slow but I think they are just having trouble keeping up with their growing popularity.
We came to pick up the order, but the atmosphere is beautiful! The food is amazing we got chicken pad thai and beef pad sew ew! I can’t wait to try the whole menu! Also happy how close to the house it is 😀
The food was really good, I didn't know what to order the server helped me pick out my meal. The only thing was a little bit too spicy for my taste, but I was able to drown out the spice with the steamed white rice. I was having a body massage and I was starving. The Japanese restaurant was closed so I noticed this restaurant so we went in.
It’s all good here. Pick my usual Thai staple food a pork thai basil with two sunny side eggs. Feel like I’m in Thailand. My wife got the Thai curry noodles.

Since when are we obligated to pay a 20% tip on food pickup? I called in and ordered food to pick up, and when I tapped my card to pay and didn’t select any tip % but lady giving the package selected 20% for me without my consent. I checked the bill after I came home. This absolutely not acceptable. Beware of this scam when you do a pickup.
