Best KFC in all off North West. They know how to spice and season it with the original KFC bite Smillar to what I always had in USA and South Afica. Some reviews here are unrelated to the food quality Theses reviews bellow are irrelevant 1. Delivery taking long( review= ubereats,justeat) 2. Parking fines for taxis (really?? Unrelated) 3. Number of employees (people call in sick) 4. Drive-through always full( people love it)

Food was average, but service was outstanding. Have to give credit to Daniel, brought the food almost as fast as I could sit down. Very positive and hard working, made the place spotless with a smile on his face which is rare for fast food places.
Well, this was the fastest KFC I have visited in a long time. We have waited up to 40 minutes in others. The only thing I would say was they didn't put straws or a fork on the tray. The security guard who kept watching me eat was a bit off-putting, but overall, a good meal.
The food was great and the staff and speed of service even better! A word of warning if you use the toilets the ladies and gents are shared in that you go through the same door there are 2 ladies cubicles and 2 gents cubicles. The wash basins are M&F. Don't let this put you off though as I said the staff were quick, clean and efficient. 👍👍👍👍👍
I don’t usually write reviews, but Dan the Man at the Great Homer Street KFC absolutely earned this one. Pulled up to the drive-thru expecting the standard “next please,” but instead I got a full comedy show and a masterclass in customer service. Dan had me laughing before I’d even finished ordering — honestly, the bloke needs his own Netflix special. I asked for a “nice piece of chicken,” and instead of just grabbing whatever was nearest, he hits me with: “What do you consider a nice piece of chicken?” Philosophical. Poetic. A moment of mutual chicken-based reflection I’ll never forget. Not only was the banter top-tier, but the order was 100% correct — not a single chip or chicken strip out of place. Got everything I needed, had a proper laugh, and left feeling way happier than someone holding fast food logically should. Seriously, the world needs more people like Dan the Man. Genuine, funny, and actually takes the time to brighten your day — even through a drive-thru window. If you go, ask for a nice piece of chicken. You won’t regret it.

Food tasted nice but its a battle getting served, just eat orders are prioritised and staff can't keep up with the orders meaning you get negative attitudes and missed items in orders. I had a BLC so needed serving at the till but staff clearly didn't want to serve actual customers.
The service was great. One poor lad serving, cleaning, and doing everything, apart from some bodies in the kitchen. I ordered a fillet burger with fries. The burger was made half-heartedly. A piece of KFC chicken breast slapped on a bun with a squirt of mayonnaise and a sprinkling of lettuce. The fries seemed re-fried. There were 12 fries in the bag, and half of them were limp and soggy.
3 chicken fillets for 5.49 Total rip off and it had a simple egg and cornflour batter so the chicken was dry and chewy. Absolutely horrible I wont be going back.
This was my second bad experience at this restaurant. Staff didn't acknowledge me at the counter, just called my order number before depositing a tray of food in front of me and walking away. They gave me a drink I hadn't asked for. Luckily I'm not diabetic.
Food was normal - kfc is pretty much the same wherever you go however was pretty annoyed that they asked what dip I wanted in my box meal, went to eat it in my car and there was no ketchup dip, so went to the window again on foot as no other cars were there - they didn't belive me and asked for my receipt so I had to go back to the car, then when I got back he looked at the receipt then said you need to come inside because there's now a car in the drive thru - all the guy had to do was pick up a dip beside him and throw it at me i would of been happy I didn't want to go inside and increase my risk of covid by touching the doors etc that delivery drivers had all been using. I think KFC need to stop being so over protective about their Ketchup dips - mcdonalds give you 3 when you order a burger let alone a whole meal. Disappointing customer service when it really could of been a lot better and you could protect your customers better too by doing everything right first time.
Had chicken fillets with fries. The chicken didn’t taste like the original proper recipe and the coating was really pale and insipid I ended up throwing them out the window on the way home. Was also told that you can order more than 2 chicken breasts as there wasn’t enough to go around. Erm hello then order more GET THE ORIGINAL TASTY RECIPE back because you’re starting to taste like Cluckys down the road. Won’t be going there any tome soon
Don’t park here for McDonald’s!!! You may get fined! If you get a fine and were there for 6 minutes or less appeal it- they have a 5 minute grace period plus one minute to read the t and c’s - you will win the case. Over 6 mins they will slap you with a £100 fine. You have been warned!
Food ok but not as good as several other branches. Service poor. Atmosphere nonexistent, we were the only customers. Cleanliness very poor - food under tables, lots of dust on lamp shades above tables near windows.Accodent near miss caused by leaning back on missing back on bench seat. Probably a non-return.
Been there twice since it opened both times food was ordered and alot of it was missing. As I went up to the counter to ask about my missing food they just ignore you and won't give you eye contact to get there attention. When you do get their attention it's like you've severely offended them. The 3rd time we were stuck in the drive through for 40 minutes. We just left it and went to the Mcdonalds across the way. Understaffed, other reviews show its not all due to the cronavirus situation as it seems this branch has been operating this way before the pandemic. The drive through is a complete waste of time, you order and are then asked to park up and wait which on average based on our previous visits is anythung between 15 to 30+ mins. Gets two stars for just for the servicr and friendliness of staff seems like they are each working double hard.
Staff taking food order far to slow.There was no kids meals or desserts available. The chips that were being served were all black and nasty and were completely not fit for human consumption. The paper straws lasted about a minute before they were useless. There was a small fly inside one of the tower burger 🍔 boxes.The only positive was as a participant in the eat out to help out it was half price.

Upon arriving at the drive through I was told to go straight round to the final window where my order would be taken. After driving round the bend to the last window I was met by a queue of 5 cars, all placing their order, paying and receiving their food. It took 25 minutes from start to finish. No apology offered. Really not good enough.
The actual food was spot on and cooked to perfection unfortunately the front of house staff were shocking, chucked the food on the counter and walked away, not one word spoken even after I politely said thank you…
Past two times I’ve been here the food has been ROCK HARD and cold. If you want actual edible kfc go somewhere else.
Probably the worst KFC. The drive through was a ridiculous wait and staff where unprofessional having a conversation with their co-workers the same time as taking my order and then proceed to scream and shout. Waited half hour in total to get two cold boxed meals with tiny plastic cups as our meal drinks. -food had to be warmed up - chips where soggy/brown -one burger looked like it had been thrown together and someone had a bite out of it And the other burger had bearly any lettuce. Definitely won't be going there again- not had a kfc for such a long time amd this has ruined it.
20/09/2023 waited 15 minutes for a meal deal. The cashier was arguing with the kitchen staff the whole time. They throw my food on the counter. The restaurant was nearly empty. Really disappointed.

This place is run by wolves. I got fined £100.00. for parking my car 10 minutes getting a coffee break before getting back to work to a Covid vaccination centre nearby. The cameras of the private company picture me exactly 10 me muted. There was no sign around to say stay out. Thanks KFC for hiring sharks to fine key workers on lockdown. You should be ashamed. Having tried chicken just makes me sick.

I ordered a delivery from this KFC on Monday 19th I spent £45 in total I was not impressed at all I placed my order and they accepted it 1 hour and half later still nothing tried phoning the restaurant but got no answer off of them for then the order was cancelled I don't recommend this KFC at all avoid at all times
Well where do I start, what a palava! After a long bank holiday morning shopping we decided to treat ourselves with a kfc on the way home after a stressful day. The ordering experience itself was a disaster, they really like to make you work for your food here! I felt like a star in little Britain! Everything I asked for was either wrong or out of stock! I’d looked forward to my milky bar krushem all morning and it was the only thing that got me through the queues today! AND THEY WERE OUT OF STOCK!! I had to settle for Malteser and one was not amused! after reciting what felt like no less than every item on the menu we finally had our order.. not my first choice nor second, let alone slimming world approved but we’ll get to that shortly! So after the lifetime of half an hour waiting driving around the building we finally got our food and I have to say, I’ve seen sloths in Chester zoo move faster! We weren’t even offered any sauces!! Starving, we headed straight home without thinking to check our order before we left.. after over 30 minutes preparing you’d think it would be right.. how wrong we were! To my dismay, I sat at the table ready to tuck in to my long awaited meal, begrudgingly with my Malteser krushem.. and, well, the palava continued.. not only was every meal wrong but we had another persons order also! We totalled 4 pots of gravy despite not ordering a single one! Steven (oh) was distraught, his beloved zinger wrap was nothing more than plain chicken in a wrap with a splodging of sauce and nothing else! Of course, starving we didn’t have time to return to the outlet and so had no choice but to eat the entirety! AND WELL... Let me tell you! I was utterly dissatisfied but every cloud, the diet is doing fantastic now! Definitely on my way to that half stone sticker now seeing as I’ve not risen from the throne all day! My guts are in turmoil! At one point I almost felt like I were going to pass out! And Steven, let’s not get started on hat subject! Thank heavens for two bathrooms let me tell you! Utterly outraged and disappointed, I shall not be returning here and implore all too follow suit! There should be a zero star option! Anita x
Terrible place. Had to wait 25 mins in a queue for the drive through because one of the fryers had broke. Once your in the queue there is no extra lane to pull out if you change your mind and no advisement of the wait was given at the time of order. When I complained at the service window the answer I got was "well it's not my fault" by the poorly trained window staff. Terrible customer service and really greasy chicken
They ignore delivery drivers so don't be surprised if your food is late and cold
What a joke. I got the Dirty Louisiana box meal burger was thrown together in a box and it was cold. Never go here again. Wouldn’t mind if it was busy. There were 6 people in the restaurant £6.49 for cold chips and a thrown together burger. Thanks KFC

I would give no stars if I could. Main issue is the staff so disorganized and uninterested took 15 mins to take my order. Walked passed me waiting near the till like 10 times. This place needs a proper manager and get these lazy people into gear!
45 - 50 minutes in the drive through. The excuse i got on the end was 'we have had a problem with bites'.. what ever that means. To top it all off.. my order was wrong. Like completley. Cba complaining as it would appear to lengthen other customers wait time..i mean if bites can cause a 50 minute delay... Not sure about returning to this branch.
Slow waiting to be served then told 9 and half mins for chicken to be cooked. When served chips were cold. Ordered 3 pieces of chicken they were all very poor quality and very small. Had to clear table and wipe down myself food and rubbish on floor under foot.
There is one frustrated lady, who insult the deliveroo guys. The staff from there is very impolite. I don't know why the management not taking this problem in serious. Its not right to be afraid of asking about your orders and be insulted cause you asked. They should be ashamed and frustrated of theire jobs.
The blonde manageress was swearing at the staff behind the internal counter and started moaning about having to deal with a Blue light discount, the staff were terrified of her. Very unprofessional.
After a 16 hour long day in work I could not be bothered to cook so easy option was drive through after coming out of the tunnel. Pulled up and requested popcorn chicken as one of my Items. Non available. Ok no problem. Then went on to wait 10-15 minutes in my car to get to window and then recieve food. Once again no issue on it's own. Drive home and sit down, open bag, Several items missing, by this point it was not worth getting back in car and driving back. Not how I wanted to end my day. Buck up the service and give correct items. Next time coming home from work I will use McDonalds next door.
Oh dear, too busy, not enough staff, they were doing their best, 20 minutes got food, chips were Freezing and hardly any in the portion, chicken was soggy and lukewarm. Not what I would expect... Sad experience..
Avoid them!!!!! An absolute nightmare!!!! Waited for my order nearly an hour, staff are very rude, they were saying short of staff Completely disorganised, one person was serving customers, doing orders and packing them and the rest didn’t know what to do. Most aweful experience ever in a fast food outlet! We went to KFC for lunch with friends and family while visiting Liverpool all the way from South Wales. We were directed to till by a staff member in order to use Blue light card discount. Store wasnt busy at all but we haf to wait by the till for over half hour - we felt almost invisible as non of the staff members came forward to serve us. Instead they continued to serve Drive through and other self service kiosk orders. We tried a few times to grab someones' attention. Then the store manager Patricia shouted us saying that all staff are busy and we have to wait ! It was really embarrassing to get shouted in front of all the other customers and No apologies received for waiting. We then had no option but return to self service kiosk iignoring the discount. Waited another 40 minutes and had to chase to get the order delivered. We are sure that our order was ignored. Patricia refused to give out KFC area managers number to make a complaine about this mis- treatment. Worse ever experience at KFC! We will never ever go to KFC again. And you should be ashamed of yourself Patricia- the store manager of Great Hormer st about your behavior towards the customers ! You are ruining KFC brand!
How bad can fast food be? Then welcome to KFC in UK, particularly in this branch. Long wait? Slow service? Staff can't be bothered? Dirty shop? Wrong order? Inconsistent standard? Whatever bad things you can think of, this branch has got it all. It is almost like they are trying very hard to be the worst place ever. If there is an award for the worst fast food restaurant this is definitely the top 5. This may sound like a first world problem, but never have I in another fast food place that I have been handed a drink literally leaking everywhere and staff think it is completely acceptable to just pass it over to you while their hand is drenched in the said drink. Well you may say "if you are not happy then go somewhere else" OH YES I WILL but I hope you are proud of your terrible standard and service. :)

The service was disgusting .. we were stood there for over 10minutes without being served all while trying to signal one of the workers. By the time we got noticed, we had been told that they had ran out of what we wanted to order. This has happened more than once.. they always seem to have no stock in when we visit. Ended up getting something else and it was cold. We ordered a boxed meal and when I looked inside, the beans had spilled over the other food and the lid had not even been put on properly. Absolutely disgusted by the overall service and the quality of the food..
In a not busy day I just did delivery for this KFC and they kept me for so long for a little order. Today I recieved fine for parking. I didn't like this behaviour I have to pay the money of one day work to them for nothing. Even the staffs didn't apologise for keeping me so long for a little order. Im so disappointed about this branch. Absolutely unfair.
As with most KFC's. What you order is not always what you get. Usually an item missed off. Not one single table was clean! Seating area was about 20% occupied. Lots of staff busy in the kitchen, only three staff serving, when one said if you need a hand I'll be in the back! Yes. They need a hand!! They were mainly doing drive through and delivery orders, with the odd in-person order, seemingly getting in the way! I was one of those pesky customers that decided to go in, instead of drive through.
When was the last time the oil was changed in your fryers frys are advertised as crispy not floppy opened gravy pot was watery and stunk of grease it was swimming on the top of the gravy was so disappointed for the price there charging come lads n girls pull your socks up and be proud in what you do I know it's fast food and not gourmet dinning but take pride in what you produce
Seriously bad over two visits now. Feel sorry for some staff as it's apparent they have not had sufficient training as well as being young and inexperienced. People waiting in excess of 40 mins for small meals then being given the wrong orders. No apologies given or any explanation given. I would replace the managers in there tonight or close it down. Zero organisation and wandering about like zombies. Not just the worst KFC I've visited but possibly the worst and most disorganised place I've seen in a long time.
The place was cold with no atmosphere. My chips were cold and too peppery. Zinger burger was thrown together and the bun was chewy. An overall depressing experience considering the price. Not going back.
Updated and down graded from 2 stars to 1: 03/03/22 After giving this restaurant drive thru a second chance today, I will never be returning. Poor quality food fried in old oil, chicken dripping with dark brown grease (sign of old oil) items missing from my order, and no fork for the coleslaw. Visited: 04/01/22 By far the scruffiest KFC I've ever been in, with food and packaging all over the tables and floor. Staff were miserable, when I asked for napkins because the the dispenser was empty, it felt like I'd asked for her first born to be sacrificed. Car park was no better, bins over flowing and rubbish everywhere. Food was okay though.
Be careful that you don’t use their car park when it’s not open. You will get a £35 fine even if you are there for less than 5 minutes. What a racket. Obviously appalling behaviour from KFC

Very bad experience with customer service as I hold BlueLightCard and asked for discount then lady who works their mentioned that we need to order through the counter. Went to counter and waited more than 20 minutes and staff keep ignoring us saying that they are extremely busy with drive through orders. Store Manger was very arrogant and shouted at us. 45 min wait in drive-thru for a 10 piece bucket as they needed new chicken. Waited in drive- thru queue for over 30 mins waiting for slow service. Then asked me to park up saying it would be 5 minutes as chicken wasn't ready...15 minuted later wasn't there so went in store to check. Nobody willing to acknowledge me as 6 members of staff with back to me so had to shout over to get someone to serve me. My bucket was sat there as nobody wanted to take it out and manager blamed on it being new and with new staff. Got a free medium popcorn chicken as an apology but was cold and soggy.
Ignored when at the counter as the self order was not working. Then scoffed at when I made an enquiry. Not very friendly 🙃 Love the smell of weed? Then just hang around outside. It either new air freshener to hide the smell of overpriced chicken, or the change seeking bloke from maccyds was there too...
I recently ordered through this restaurant and the food arrived two hours late, even though i made sure i ordered an hour before closing. By the time i got my food it was so cold and I couldn’t even eat anything. Now the restaurant is somehow not responsible for refunding me my money or taking any responsibility for this. Horrendous, really dont know why i bother coming to this drivethru as past experiences should put me off, incorrect orders, missing items!! Arrived at drivethru @20.45pm, waited until @21.12pm to place order and finally got order @21.35pm....if i could of reversed out, i would of, total jam packed queue, all beeping horns because of the delay!! Never again....seems the priority is for all the motorbike deliveries....awful service. Didnt want to even give 1 star but wouldnt let me post otherwise

I ordered on the app and was given a confirmation number. Unfortunately, this was not recognised at the drive through. They said the problem had started the day before and I'd have to park up up and go into the restaurant. I did. I got back to the car and realised the order was wrong. I went back in store and had it replaced. This order was wrong but close enough to the original that I couldn't be bothered to go back and complain again. The fried were cold and the chicken over cooked. All in all very disappointing. I would not recommend this branch of KFC.
Poor service, ordered 4 meals. Two meals was completely wrong zinger stacker box meal, and got a boneless banquet for 1. 4 piece meal got a boneless for one. Missed off a snack wrap. Staff not bothered couldn't be bothered and moaned about getting the snack wrap, rest wasn't noticed until home

The recipe has changed and not as I remember, Chips, Garlic coating discustin. Soda, they only serve man made sugar free cancer drinks.. so water with the greasy chicken mess that was given to me at about 3million kelvins, this hot the coating should be crispy it wasn't.
Charged for a car breakdown while the KFC was shut. If you’re car breaks down don’t go near the place, in fact, drive on and endanger other road users or be charged £60 for the car that breaks down and £60 for anyone that helps get the car back on the road. No parking between the hours of 01:30 and 10:00 without a barrier or clear signage to show that the car park is part of KFC and not Sainsbury’s or McDonald’s (even though there are signs for both in this section of car park) is simply a ploy to extort money from people and make KFc money while the KFC is closed. You think you’re doing the right thing by going somewhere quiet to fix an overheating engine so as not to disrupt traffic or endanger other road users but these people couldn’t care less as long as their pockets are filled with your hard earned cash. I was there less than half an hour and didn’t cause any issues for kfc or their customers while I quietly sorted out another persons car to make sure the spaces were free when the business re-opened but I should have just left another person stranded and allowed for business to be disrupted as it cost me more than what I earned. KFC couldn’t care less and gave me a generic response and my appeals were rejected by UKPC even with evidence of the issues and an invoice of repairs to the other car. What a joke!!! Avoid this money grabbing place like the plague KFC: if you’d like to contact me and have me remove this review then reply with some details so we can get these unfair parking charges quashed. I will be writing to multiple other places about this as this seems like blatant entrapment of anyone that is unfortunate enough to mistake the car park for being a part of the wider retail park UPDATE: sent the details on 30th October no reply from the store just yet
This is not first time when I back home and my order is not packed fully. Missing chicken pieces , When back to store and claim missing chicken pieces, give me missing pieces. This Store manager should loose his job!!!. And the same today. Missing 1x wing. Time to looking for diffirent store.
Not sure where the issue lies, the staff I have spoken to are all lovely and polite but the quality control is lacking. 3 times I have been here. First time I was stuck in the drive through for an hour. That's not a typo, an hour! Second time I got a burger that looked like it had been assembled in a cellar with no lights. Today I have driven home, to find the party bucket had no wings, no sides and after being told they would give me mostly legs, no legs. It's easy to say "Oh its only gravy, corn, wings etc" but it's 1/4 of the meal I have paid for. I will not be going again, even if it is conveniently placed on my drive home. If this is a franchise then the owner seriously needs to think about changing his line of work. If it's corporate, you need more staff, more training and the second window opening. Oh and a final thought, when you design a drive through, do not put the speaker/microphone facing one of the busiest roads in and out of Liverpool.
Can't give less than 1 Star staff need retraining and a manager needs to be present cos these three kids in here tonight couldn't manage a hangover in a brewery asked for 2 stranger meal deals to be told oh we don't do them anymore so clearly I replied yes you do as they are in the main offer board so clearly you do well its like this we ran out of red buns and they won't send more on well swop it with a normal bun then ohh couldn't do that not allowed to but only said this as he spoke to the other two kids working with him sad result was this was 2 out of 8 meals we wanted so think of the loss ha ing kids who don't know what they are doing working there of a night this placevis rapidly going down hill so won't be back nearly as bad as walton road and that say something Customer service doesn't exist as when you order your food the girl goes i cant understand you 3 times before we said we would drive round to the window even then I cant understand you one word PATHETIC
The restaurant closed at 10:00pm…. I arrived at 1025pm The opening hour different with the google map and the website show restaurant and drive thru both closed at 1am
The service was non-existent and the food was also poor, poor communication from staff who were not able to provide any form of customer service
6 members of staff waiting behind till I tried ordering with one I was told to use machine to order (kiosk) Not busy at all, I'm not coming to KFC again Total decline in taste, all stores filthy and now not possible to order with human staff
Shocking. I've Been here every Wednesday for a month .and they keep telling me the coffee machine is broken. A MONTH . They either find it better not serving it or they can't be bothered to fix it. 15 quid for my order and a drink I don't really want. I end up going to Sainsbury's petrol station and spending £3.30 on a coffee. I give up on this place.
I'm going to be very Frank and honest. I found the whole experience quite disappointing. Now let me make this perfectly clear. It's not the staff. Very friendly staff. It's The food that is served it no. Longer has the succulentness off the KFC. I want remembered. It's completely the void of that particular sentiment. It's simply dried slope of which you get .. Effectively fleeced for.. I. Paid 17 pounds for a mighty bucket and a Burger. I paid 10 pound 4. The mighty bucket and 7 pound for a Burger. An absolute rip off it's Barely edible swill .. In the mighty bucket that's supposed to be. I believe 2 wings. received one... For what you pay It. Is absolutely vile..... I. Would much prefer now to go to Nando's? I'm enjoy a meal inside Rather than have this, it's just disgusting that KFC. Can charge dismatch for something that quite frankly is not worth it
Worst KFC i ever had!! ordering online here for delivery, the chicken insanely salty!! chips soggy and no taste at all, gravy sauce very bland😂😂😂 They even didn’t know how to cook, i’m expecting too much cause starving at night after a long journey thinking KFC was the good option, my bad… spend £30 for nothing, throw everything to bin, reported to uber they just refund £1 for delivery totally funny🙃
Management should be ashamed! I am surprised KFC head Office allows this place to run like this. First of all it’s so understaffed it’s basically modern slavery, I feel so sorry for the couple of staff that work here. One person serves all the customers at the counter and one person all the long line of cars. They don’t have time to breathe it’s shocking and heartbreaking. The result of understaffing is an absolutely filthy restaurant! The eating area from floors, tables and chairs are disgusting! Chicken bones on the floor, bins overflowing, you have to wipe your eating area down before u can sit down, it’s a health hazard and I will be reporting this place! I’ve been here three times now and it’s alway the same and had to leave this review. Management shame on u!
