Espectacular! Sin duda a partir de ahora uno de mis restaurantes de preferencia en la Costa Brava. Todos los platos que tomamos estaban realmente buenos, con un sabor increíble que se te hacia la boca agua. Hicimos una cena de picoteo para compartir, y todo estaba de 10. Nos quedamos con ganas de seguir probando el resto de la carta. La carta que ofrece es muy variada. Tomamos las chips de berenjenas con miel que estaban espectaculares, las mejores que he llegado a probar. Muy recomendable también las tortitas de tataki de atún y las croquetas de berenjena, como uno de sus platos estrellas. Por otra parte, pese que el local es bastante pequeño es muy acogedor y el personal muy atento.

Este restaurante es una muy buena opción para salir un poco de los platos típicos de la zona y seguir comiendo muy bien y muy rico. El estilo es de cocina moderna mezclada con algunos productos locales y muchas de las opciones son en formato tapa. Pedimos las sardinas crujientes, las alcachofas con mostaza y miel, un brioche de steak tartar y una milanesa de presa ibérica. Todo estaba, como he dicho antes, muy rico y bien cocinado. La atención de todos los camareros fue genial. De precio, incluyendo las bebidas y café fue de unos 27€/pax, así que muy buena relación calidad/precio.

Fuimos a cenar y la atención al cliente fue genial, atendimos antes por llamada para solicitar mesa fuera ya que habíamos reservado en interior porque no dejaba cambiarlo, no hubo ningún problema y fueron muy agradables. Para cenar nos pedimos calamares con salsa de lima (la salsa riquísima), alcachofas fritas con miel y mostaza (nos esperábamos que viniera la alcachofa entera pero es frita a trozos, igualmente genial), pan bao de rabo de toro (nos lo sirvieron en pan brioche porque no quedaba pan bao, mejor aún porque yo prefería brioche) pluma ibérica (BUENÍSIMA)y langostinos con salsa, de postre un coulant de chocolate blanco y el lemon pie. LA COMIDA ESTÁ RIQUÍSIMA, nos quedamos con más ganas de probar el resto de la carta, ya que no hubo nada que se quedara atrás. Recomiendo muchísimo el rabo de toro, la pluma ibérica y los postres!!!!!

Es la primera vez que voy a este restaurante. Mi experiencia ha sido muy positiva con la comida, la ubicación es perfecta, delante el mar pero sin estar en el escaparate de la gente que pasea por la calle. Felicito al equipo de cocina por su rapidez y exquisitos platos. Las dos personas que había atendiendo también fueron muy amables y atentas. Los precios, una vez valorado todo lo dicho, tampoco me parecen tan caros como la gente dice en algunos comentarios, hay que recordar que estos negocios de playa son negocios de temporada corta. Mis 4 estrellas son por la decoración del local, a mi parecer, le falta personalidad y calidez. Pero seguro que repetimos porque se come muy muy bien y nos quedamos con ganas de probar muchos platos de la carta. 1 Julio 2025: Personalmente creo que actualmente es el mejor restaurante de Llafranc (Palafrugell, Girona). Ubicado casi en el paseo, desde dentro no tiene vistas al mar pero lo eligiria antes que otros que si las tienen. La carta es variada con muchas opciones, el tamaño de los platos es ideal para compartir. Desde su inauguración han mejorado la decoración del local, siendo ahora más cálido y acogedor (He cambiado mi valoración de 4 a 5 estrellas) El personal es muy amable, servicial, educado y profesional. Enhorabuena al equipo de cocina y al equipo de sala. Seguro que volveremos 120% recomendable.

Uno de los mejores restaurantes donde ir hacer tapeo del bueno en la costa brava. En un lugar precioso (Llafranc) desde donde su terraza visualizas el mar, con una comida exquisita, con muy buen producto y buena cocina. Recomiendo casi todo lo que tienen porque está riquísimo, a lo mejor me quedo con los macarrones trufados, las berenjenas y los calamares. Aunque todo está muy muy bueno!

Resultante en Llafranc. NOS ENCANTÓ. Habíamos reservado desde Barcelona y no nos decepcionó. Los camareros muy amables😁. No está certificado y la cocina es pequeña, pero el camarero tiene súper claro en cada plato si lo voy a poder comer, si se va a poder adaptar…Todo. Nos dejamos guiar en los platos por el mismo, a cada cual nos gustó más. Las tortitas de tartar de atún, ya eran de base sin gluten! Y la salsa teriyaki la pusieron sin gluten también. Los langostinos tenían gluten pero verbalizaron que estaban muy ricos. Las bravas podríamos decir que fue lo que menos nos gustó, aunque la la salsa estaba brutal. Pedimos unas patatas con huevo que estaban muuuy ricas. Y el plato top fue vieiras con alcachofas De postre había coulant y alguno más sin gluten, me encanto. Sin duda volvería a repetir, una experiencia muy rica.

Muy buena opción si quieres disfrutar de buena comida cerca del mar y la playa. Muy buena relación calidad/precio, pagamos unos 45 € por persona, todos los platos estaban buenísimos y salimos llenos y satisfechos. Además, el trato inmejorable, los camareros muy atentos, resolutivos y amables. Sin duda, repetiría la experiencia.

La verdad que muy buena experiencia en el restaurante, una comida muy buena, un servicio muy correcto, en las mesas de la terraza hay una espectacular vista al mar. La comida es de bastante calidad, el coulant como podéis observar es una bomba y no es nada empalagoso como suelen ser los coulants congelados de la mayoría de restaurantes. Recomiendo bastante este sitio.

Estupendo . Aconsejados por unos amigos acudimos a comer . Para no extenderme en la fotos y en la cuenta podéis ver todos los platos que compartimos. Sin un pero , a pesar de estar lleno la cocina y el servicio funcionó a la perfección. Totalmente recomendable

Marmara was the restaurant we ate in the very first time we visited Llafranc, and the experience was so good that it has since become the only place we have lunch when we visit for the day. The food is excellent – the quality of the ingredients, the preparation, and the presentation all stand out – and the waiting staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Our waiter, Christian, was outstanding; he obviously has eyes in the back of his head as the restaurant was full yet he remained attentive throughout, not just with us but with every table! There is also a lovely buzz: the restaurant is full, everyone is talking, and yet you can still hear the conversation at your own table. We ordered more than two dishes, but every plate looked so good I forgot to take photos before diving in!

This was our second time at marmara, we were keen to come back after loving it on our family holiday last year! It is tapas done brilliantly, and very reasonably priced for the quality. Highlights were the crispy aubergine with honey, meat croquettes, prawn tostadas, prawn gyozas, tuna with roasted veg, and the white chocolate coulant and Nutella croissant for dessert - amazingly tasty! It was all brilliantly cooked, doing justice to great quality ingredients. Service was quick and friendly, and it’s a great setting by the beach. It was full of locals, which is always a good sign.

Rigatoni is amazing and flavourful. Clams are sweet and fresh as well. Toast is crispy outside and cheesy. Apple pie is also really good and well paired with the cinnamon icecream. Very unique food and highly recommended!

The food here is delicious! We had the burrata salad, fried squid, octopus, salmon tartar and scallop ceviche and it was all fantastic. We got lucky getting a table without a reservation. The service was lovely and only loses a point because there was one server for the entire restaurant which was packed so it was a touch slow, but the server was so kind we didn’t mind!

Amazing Spanish/Japanese Fusion Tapas Restaurant. Everything we had was flavorful and delicious. Started with tuna tartare & guacamole. Amazing presentation & packed with a yummy soy glaze. Next up were Japanese noodles with chicken and beef tataki. Both also amazing. Wine list is reasonably priced around 20€ but I feel this place should have some higher end options. IMO Still a 5 Star experience in every way.

Outstanding fusion tapas. The steak tartare brioche was so good but the deep friend honey coated aubergine was worth the visit alone. Zucchini carpaccio was a pleasant surprise too, very fresh and helped to pair with some richer dishes.

Restaurante con bonitas vistas al mar y muy bien decorado. Nosotras no habíamos reservado pero conseguimos mesa fuera y la verdad es que estuvimos de maravilla. Todo lo que comimos estaba riquísimo: bravas, calamares, chips de berenjenas con miel, croquetas, tartar de atún, hummus… y de postre, lemon pie y fresas con chocolate ¡uhmmm! We had a delicious meal here of tapas for the adults and main dishes for the kids. The service was slow as they only had two wait staff for a huge room full of people and one barman, so you have to keep flagging them down. But the food made it worth it. Beautifully decorated and located in a lovely spot in Llafranc.

The tapas were absolutely delicious, but we were unimpressed with the desserts. My lemon tart was over-sweet with soggy pastry. The service was very good, but there is a 90 minute window for diners. This worked fine for us as a couple, but could be difficult for larger groups. Overall, we did have a very good experience, and would return should we visit the area again.

I arrived at 8 pm without a reservation and was seated for an hour (someone had a reservation for the table at 9). Got the burrata salad and the tuna tataki with vegetables. The burrata salad was pretty good, the tomatoes were very flavorful. However, the whole salad was not salty enough and the tomatoes were too cold (I think they were recently taken out of the fridge and not brought fully to room temperature). The tuna tataki with vegetables was also good, not anything extraordinary. Overall, the food was decent in a town with few choices. The ambiance was nice. Service was friendly, accommodating and fast. Bill came out to 35.50 € with salad, tuna tataki and a glass of red wine.

Nice restaurant. Had plenty of vegetarian tapas options available - usual stuff like bravas and tortilla and some other bits like fried aubergine and artichoke, plus some salads. We visited on a Saturday and the place was full and turning people away so recommend booking in advance. Meal for two with plenty of food and a bottle of wine was €75.

Came for dinner in November, pleasantly surprised with how busy it was! Staff and wine were both really pleasant and general decor and restaurant were lovely. Food was overall very nice apart from some of our table ordered the pork Milanese which was not bad but a bit dry, we did tell the waiter who was polite and apologised for this but all other dishes were delicious. The apple tart was a star dish and delicious!

We thought it was okay. The service was lovely and we had a nice wine. However the food was good without being great. The octopus was lovely and the oxtail bao and fried aubergine were good. However we also got the fried artichokes, which were terrible, patatas bravas (soaked in sauce), and the aubergine salad which was okay. It just lacked a bit of zing! I was also disappointed that we sent the artichokes back after trying a few and no one asked what the issue was. All in all it was okay but we wouldn’t go back with better restaurants around

Think we made a poor choice in ordering ’Milinase’ it was overcooked and dry, suspect they are not a ‘meat’ house. That said, everything else was good, prawn starter, pasta main (guests) and deserts were good. So we will try again and update the review in time.
